Our hardworking group of Li Kim, Sharon, Ms Han and Wendy Loh are at the Hong Kong Filmart (March 19-22). They are going there to promote TSEM PARANORMAL ZONE with Li Kim as our talented celebrity host. I’ve shared some pictures from Sharon Saw and Wendy Loh’s Facebook. Also I am sharing some email and blog chat posts from Wendy Loh from Hong Kong.  Li Kim of Kechara and a few will be going to Asian film awards soon also… exciting… Meet more people and expanding…

Very nice messages from Wendy Loh she emailed me and some were posted on blog chat (below)… Although she is so new, she really goes all the way with her job.

Wendy is new but she makes her schedule 100% available for KMP work, which makes it so much easier to invite her along to do anything with us. When we have projects, it’s just nice to know the person is available. In any job, if you want to make it, you have to go all the way and ‘sacrifice’ personal whatevers to make it… that’s the way the world works.

She is not temperamental and no one needs to tiptoe around her moods. Easy and nice to work with. I am told this… and glad to know. Your moods and how you are towards people over time defines how they feel about you… it’s human to think this way I guess…

Although I have spent very little or no time with her and did not ‘nurture’ her in anyway, she has the maturity to see what we are doing and that we will get places and she just does the job. Some people you spend very little time with and they are just ready to go ahead and get things done!

Yes we are not that huge now yet. But we will be… we will. Joining us when we are big looks odd… hehehe… It means you are sitting on the sidelines to see what is happening… what YOU can get from it… and if we make it, you join, if we don’t, your safe… on the positive side some join when we have made it because their minds have changed and feel inspired… everyone is different though and I am not judging… just observing…

Join us now and work hard now and ‘eat porridge’ with us now and enjoy rice later. (Porridge is a metaphor for doing not well and rice is doing well.) Then when we make it we did it together and we know each others’ loyalties. It’s nice to make it together from scratch… from nothing to something. Anything we want to achieve in life we have to go all the way and something else in life has to be given up. We just have to see our own priorities. Priorities must be made based on now and future benefits… not just immediate benefits. Immediate benefits when done and over lead to nothing.

I am very happy Wendy participates in my blog chat and keeps us updated on the events in Hong Kong… All this shows she just easily cooperates with the different methods and ways I/we have created to reach out to more people and each other. I like when people get involved with the chat, we can stay close to each other or at least just update each other and share with the world… If you are in Kechara good to be with Kechara in all ways including chat... when we share we are reaching someone in some way that will benefit for sure… that is good. We are growing and it’s nice to share with each other. If we keep a distance from each other, then people are wary to ask you to join.  We should share with the world because Kechara is doing very good works.

Wendy doesn’t drive or own a car, but she makes it to her appointments with no qualms and on time… she is now wanting to move to a closer location to work for Kechara… very dedicated and inspiring. This is the type of attitude and mind I need with the people working together with me… this attitude GETS US PLACES AND HELPS US TO DO MUCH MORE FOR OTHERS and ourselves.

We can treat Kechara like a job or more. If we treat it like a job, then you are seen as a nice employee. If you treat Kechara as more, then you will be included for more. The decision is made by you… It’s not good or bad, it’s just when deciding to ask people to come aboard for different projects their moods, availability, job performance, past, efficiency, cooperativeness, etc all come into play. It’s like that everywhere. It’s not bias, just want a great team to get the job done! This is applicable for anyone anywhere.

I am glad to see Wendy Loh just jumped into the ‘frying pan’ and is really ‘cooking’ with us now. This can be for all people working in Dharma anywhere in the world or any job. This is not meant as a huge WENDY IS SO FABULOUS write up, it’s what I have observed and noticed… I just wanted to share and thank Wendy and all the people like her in Kechara. Wendy is my example for all the people in Kechara who are like her… I thank all the Kecharians for this. You know who you are… I need you, you work with me and we get somewhere… People like you make me want to get to know you more and do more with you. You inspire me and let me know all my hard work, time, tremendous efforts and resources have results…thank you for that… Thank you very much. We will get somewhere together.

Tsem Rinpoche

Dear Rinpoche,

I just wish to say that Li Kim is not alone in this. She has her team with her, who will do what it takes to make her a star.

Why? Because she is already a star, right from the start. She is a Celebrity with a heart of Gold.

And I love to say, “my boss is a celebrity.” hee hee.

Thank you for the inspiring story, Rinpoche. It is a good way to start the morning as we are heading to the HKG Convention Center to promote Tsem Paranormal Zone.

Cheers,
Wendy

Li Kim is a good asset to the Organization. She has grown KMP in her own ways and very hard working. She is very dynamic…no matter what obstacles is faced she is always strong… Keep going and. Great work.

Li Kim is an incredibly charming, intelligent, beautiful person (in and out) who has a heart of gold. I do not doubt she’ll make it big in the film world and I can already imagine seeing her on big screen. Not being biased because I love her dearly but she has the charisma and looks good on screen! 🙂

Wendy works very hard and is a super creative person and I wish much success to both Li Kim and Wendy to have all the resources required to go on big screen and tv shows all over the world!!! 🙂

So good to see KIM and Li Kim moving in the direction of making movies especially related to Rinpoche’s bio movie. Rinpoche’s has much to offer about Hope, determination and success, and his story spans 3 countries and how a modern day lama arises to benefit so many. Rinpoche;s blog for example has lifted many people’s spirits about facing the chalenges of this world, and some who contemplated about suicide decided otherwise hence Rinpoche’s movie it will inspire many people. That they are not alone and there is HOPE in the darkest situations. To read more about Rinpoche’s motivation about making a movie see here http://blog.tsemtulku.com/tsem-tulku-rinpoche/me/my-reasons-for-doing-a-movie.html

And the last person to be scared should be LI KIM 🙂

Wendy is truly a very dedicated person…I rejoice for her. She inspired many of us as well.
Kechara is growing globally…Yeah!! I can’t wait to watch the series!!

So descriptive, when Rinpoche mentioned that when there is porridge, we all eat porridge and when there is rice, we all eat rice.

Also jump into the frying pan and start cooking. With these two illustrations in mind, where else can Kechara go but UP! UP and soaring in the Skies!

The most simple and illustrative descriptions for us desiring to make Dharma our live and career.

As the mother of STAR BOSS or CELEBRITY BOSS, I thank all in this great Family of Kechara to make it happen.

Next will be your turn, maybe not celebrity in the form like LiKim but one which all of us Kecharians should go for to be a STAR and CELEBRITY KECHARIAN, shine as we move about in our lives, radiating love, care with great compassion.

Thank you all in Hongkong and not forgetting our current SuperStar, Dato Ruby.

    • Li Kim on Mar 22, 2012 at 1:44 am

I remember when I was a kid I wanted to be an actress… I would rent all the chinese drama series and memorize the scripts, since I could not read chinese… I would then make Datuk May and my dad sit through hours after dinner to watch me act. Thinking about it now makes me laugh, I was such a drama queen even then… My grandfather told me he would build me my own production studio and he said I could produce and star in all my own movies! Yes, I was a spoilt rotten little princess!

Then my grandfather passed away when I was 16 and this dream died with him.

Today, I am given this same opportunity and I thought it would be a breeze…what I forgot was I grew up and was less thick skin and even maybe became shy with age. When Rinpoche told me to go become a celebrity, I was scared and did not even think I will get this far to show my face here in HK Filmart and have the guts to strut around like I AM a celebrity!

Well, I am here and have strut around and even insisted people like Glenn Berger (screenwriter of Kung Fu Panda) keep and hold my Tsem Paranormal Zone folder. And he did! He carried it around and was talking to others with the folder in his hands face front with my face. Of course, I was stalking him la and making sure he did not put it down… I must be pretty yet scary too! Paranormal Host I AM!

Whenever I get scared and want to chicken away, I just remember Rinpoche’s words to me to be scared and just do it. I have nothing to lose. So what if I fail temporarily… Indeed so what! I get up and go again…simple. THANK YOU RINPOCHE FOR GIVING ME COURAGE TO FACE MY OWN DEMONS. And giving me this opportunity to make a childhood dream come true now for a much bigger cause!

Last but not least Thank you mom, you have been my strength and inspiration. I LOVE YOU!!!!

  18. Wendy Loh on Mar 20, 2012 at 1:25 pm

    Dear Rinpoche,

Thank you. I am totally speechless and I had to pause a few times while reading this post because I was so overwhelmed.

Rinpoche, the fact that I am accepted as part of KMP / Kechara, in itself is a great blessing. What more should I ask for? I learn so much from my dear friend and colleague, Sharon (Saw), who has been ever so kind and nurturing since the very beginning. And of course Celebrity Host Li Kim is the bestest boss in the world and I have known. 🙂

I believe that we will make it big because we are big.

I am very proud to be a Kecharian & KMPian, of my KMP Family and my Celebrity Boss.

Thank you, Rinpoche and I can only repay your kindness, care and love by doing more and giving more.

    Sincerely,
    Wendy

      Dear Wendy,

I have literally been spending every moment with you these past few days and I must say that you are a very colorful person. I would like to share here with everyone so that they know.

When we were at the 6th Asian Film Awards on Monday, Wendy knew so much from the famous people to all the films mentioned. I had more fun watching here excited reaction than the awards itself!

You have been great in supporting and promoting me at this Filmart. I think I would have totally chickened out if not for you “pushing” me and encouraging me. THANK YOU!

Rejoice for all the hardworking and dedicated Kecharians. You guys are beautiful people, work day and night for the benefits of others. Your commitments make different to many people’s life. I believe this should be the only reason for our existence in this world! Honestly it is shameful to just write a comment here but not being part of the full-time kecharians yet.

      Hi Joy,

I cannot tell about Caines for now but we are already planning to attend the festivals in Shanghai and Singapore. I learn at this HK Filmart that these two are good to attend as they combine Film & TV in the festival. Very cool!

YES, totally agreed with MC that Wendy is always ready to help.
She is new yet dynamic , full of energy. I like !
Enjoying working with her for this HK FILMART 2012, and will work closer with her for the Tsem Paranormal Zone’s Project. During this trip, we have many crazy ideas on how to promote dharma through videos ….

  22. Mc on Mar 20, 2012 at 2:28 am

Wendy is always ready to help and has pulled off a couple of miracles for me without even thinking twice about it. I am glad she is in Kechara.

When I see the picture of Ms Han, Wendy, Li Kim and Sharon I am very thankful to them. They are away for only one purpose that is to do what they need to, in order to draw help towards fulfilling Rinpoche’s vision for KWPC.

Li Kim is already a star and she looks like she means business on her promotional video. Move over Mr Alfred Hitchcock.

Interesting article…..the explanation by the Dalai Lama was clear enough to prove that we are not alone.Do agree that different religions have different depictions of extraterrestrial or extradimensional beings We should treat and respect all beings the same as explained by the Dalai Lama.We should look upon them as we look upon ourselves — another equal form of life.I do enjoyed reading and watching the video.
Thank you Rinpoche for sharing this article and video from HH Dalai Lama.

Thank you Pastor Han Nee and Rinpoche on the importance of being happy, it never occurred to me that Rinpoche would ask to be reborn in a situation whereby he would experience pain, disharmony, anger, disillusion particularly in his early childhood.
It must be very devastating for him to pass through life with an entire emotional discontentment about who he was hanging over his shoulders. Rinpoche must be pretty bewildered to have found out that he was actually adopted by the American family. With all these happening to him yet he has never lost faith in Buddhism speak volumes of his inner strength, faith and strong devotion particularly after having met his root guru.
Rinpoche has gone through pretty much all the agonies of family life that many of us may not have been privilege to experience and had sail through those tormenting stormy years. We are very privileged to be recipients and most importantly he has accepted many as students under his wings to further propagate authentic Tibetan Buddhism here.
Whatever we have learned from Rinpoche is not out of a fantasy story book but a true to life experiences of his journey. Thank you Rinpoche for sharing with us your life’s journey and most importantly impart to us your profound knowledge on Tibetan tantric Buddhism. Your presence here in Malaysia would definitely leave a legacy behind and your imprints would encourage many Malaysian to embrace Tibetan Buddhism.

I have watched the movies about Hachiko in both Japanese and English many times, yet I am still very much touched by it. The story taught us loyalty, love, never let go of those who has been good to us no matter what. It shows our potentials and good qualities which we can develop for the better.

We need more inspiring stories like this to uplift our spirits that allow us to become calm and kind. This is very important if we want peace in the world.

While people look up to monks who went into solitary retreat in the deep forest or high mountains, there are equally admirable monks who had to go against all odds in order to bring dharma to many. The later cannot avoid the dealing with politics and complicated human relations, yet they manage to succeed in their endeavours.

Somehow, Agvan Dorjiev reminded me on H.E. the 25th Tsem Rinpoche, who has also brought dharma to the foreign land out of Guru Devotion. Like Agvan Dorjiev, His Eminence has never given up on his endeavour and go out his way without once looking back. His Eminence has displayed full determination in serving others equally similar to Agvan Dorjiev.

China was once a Buddhist country that gives rise to erudite masters and eminent monks who taught and preached the dharma well. As a result, the emperors also took on Buddhism and preserve the dharma by supporting the monastic educations and system. Realizing that the Buddhadharma was taught by Buddha Shakyamuni and the significance of the Buddha’s relics, historically, many emperors of China started to invite the Buddha’s and His disciples’ relics, while others maintained them. Without their efforts, we wouldn’t be able to bless by any of them today!

As we are in the kaliyuga where dharma is less appreciated by many, those who come across dharma or practice it are mostly superficial and minimum. By going to pilgrimage sites with the Buddha’s relics, we received the powerful blessings and purification for dharma to take effects in our mindstream.

While visiting the holy sites is beneficial, the best pilgrimage is the home of our spiritual guide where the living Buddha resides. When we are around our spiritual guide, we receive teachings directly that expedite our purification and transformation process. We should make use of such rare opportunities to learn and improve. Personally, I prefer to venerate my teacher when He is alive than to venerate His relics after He passed.

It is an exhilarating read about King Ashoka. The Kalinga War is quite widely known, and from here in this article, we are brought to face with the brutality of King Ashoka before he became a true devotee of Buddhism. The virtuous deeds through King Ashoka’s proliferation of Buddha Dharma actually stayed longer and deeper in the heart of many compared to his callous history. Two thousand over years after his passing, many Buddhism artifacts like the Pillars of Ashoka and Lion Capital of Ashoka are still being revered as the symbol of an integral and inseparable part of history of India. Thank you P. Prashant for this interesting article.

Thank you Stella for this article on relics, it is well known to all Buddhist that relics are found during cremation of very high masters, enlightened beings, Rinpoche and high lamas.
When I was with my previous religious order they held a relic ceremony where close to five thousand attended. I cannot remember which religious person’s relic it was but it was said to be very old and very precious. The relic was encased in a stupa and it was up on the stage beyond the reach of the attendees.
During the ceremony the head abbot recited some prayers and the necessary Buddhist salutation and after a while the relics began to dance up and down in the stupa. The whole dancing was captured in live telecast in the auditorium, it lasted a few seconds, it is really stupendous and defies human logic how this lifeless thing dances.
I have also seen many displays of Buddhist relics of the famous masters where some of the cremated parts of the bone have turned into white shinning crystal like substances.

Praise to Avalokitesvara, the supreme Lord of Compassion.

A true teacher will be kind to all levels of people and will not see the differences between them except how to be kind and benefit them. He looks upon them to relieve their sufferings to some degree. A true follower of this teacher will do the same in order to follow the teacher’s footsteps. Therefore a disciple who wishes to please a TRUE teacher will be humble, take care of the teacher’s circle of students and people and treat everyone well. When we treat the teacher’s people well, we treat the teacher well. When we are kind to everyone, WE PLEASE THE TRUE TEACHER TREMENDOUSLY because a true teacher only wants the best for us and the best is to have a kind and generous and unbiased mind. When we are kind, we benefit ourselves and others so much. To be humble is to gain and earn everyone’s respect and open the Vajra Yogini (Buddhahood) nature within us. To be biased is to keep the Vajra Yogini nature locked away. Our goal as a spiritualist is to open the Vajra Yogini nature inherit in all of us. Sarva Mangalam. Tsem Rinpoche

The amount of suffering, fear and pain they have to experience should be experienced by no one whether animal or human. It is heartbreaking to continuously see the sufferings animals endure for our ‘pleasures’. I do feel helpless, but helpless or not, we must create more awareness tirelessly. With awareness, their suffering can eventually be reduced. The ones who are slaughtered, it’s too late. We can only shed tears but we have to still be concerned about future slaughter of animals and try to prevent. Helping and being kind to animals is not spiritual, strange or unnatural, but pure empathy of understanding their pain in that no sentient beings would want to suffer. Tsem Rinpoche

Thank you Rinpoche for the explanation on Naga realms; i.e. who they are, in what form they exist, how do we co-exist with them in the same space, and the remedy should we, due to our carelessness, have caused harm or pain on them and now suffering the consequences. Naga dwells in areas where there is abundance of water, they are protective towards the flora and fauna that enrich their surroundings, and they are very particular about cleanliness and vegetarianism. Now that we understand the habit of Naga, and since we share the same dwelling with them, it is only polite to extend the respect and mindfulness that they deserve as another sentient being. Thank you Rinpoche for this teaching.

It is indeed sad that religious tolerance is believed to be at its lowest level worldwide. A small incidence can spark violence and sometimes resulting in death. I find it very hard to understand why some religious denomination uses emotive actions rather than an analytical approach in solving matters. This has been their ways all along perhaps it is time their religious leaders relook in their approach to have a more open frame of mind when their religion is being attack and not resorting in unnecessary violence.
Perhaps somewhere along the teachings by their leaders who could have been instigated by the fanatical fundamentalist inculcated different ideology into them believing that by going to war, destroying places of worship would earn them high reward in the afterlife?
I pray and hope that their higher religious authorities would seriously take an in-depth look on the pain they have inflicted on innocent people, destroying of historical sites, temples as these acts would only breed hatred and bring disdain among their people.

After reading the article, feel sad for those people due the unrest there they suffered.Racial tension in the USA have been going on since a long time.It doesn’t stopped from one incident to another.Increase in recent mass shootings in public places had cause travel alerts for countries like USA ,UAE and Bahamas to mention a few.The authority should ensuring the safety and security of their people to enjoy the true freedom regardless of race, colour and so forth.Same goes to religion,we must be able to be given religion freedom. With the Dorje Shugden ban for example…it had cause many sufferings in certain countries.Do hope the ban will be lifted soon.
    Thanks Rinpoche for sharing .

The Unknown

The Known and unknown are both feared,
Known is being comfortable and stagnant,
The unknown may be growth and opportunities,
One shall never know if one fears the unknown more than the known.
Who says the unknown would be worse than the known?
But then again, the unknown is sometimes worse than the known. In the end nothing is known unless we endeavour,
So go pursue all the way with the unknown,
because all unknown with familiarity becomes the known.

This stairway nestled among green hills is Sanku Vajra Yogini temple in Kathmandu, Nepal. It is one of the five sacred shrines and temples dedicated to Her. In this temple a lady who was an emanation of Vajra Yogini showed many miracles and when she passed they made a likeness of her body and enshrined it here. So we can worship Vajra Yogini in the form of this lady at this sacred temple in Sanku. I visited here with many of my dharma friends years ago to pay homage to this sacred Vajra Yogini. Never forget to do our Vajra Yogini practice. We can lose our money, we can lose our friends, we can lose our position, we can lose our family, we can lose our wife, we can lose our husband and we can lose our materialistic possession because in the end we will lose all outer objects anyway, but NEVER lose our Vajra Yogini practice. Everything lost is meant to be lost because we are in samsara and whatever we enjoy in samsara will not last and will be lost. It is their nature. Never waste time, energy and keep procrastinating, but do our Vajra Yogini practice intensely and strongly and be firm. Samsara never grants permanence and happiness, but Vajra Yogini\'s practice will hand the universe and all the joys within it to you.-Tsem Rinpoche

LADRANG LIGHT OFFERING FUND

A rare and precious opportunity for candles to be offered on your behalf at the private residence of His Eminence Tsem Rinpoche. The offering of light to the Three Jewels has great benefits for one\'s mind including gaining clarity and intelligence, the acceleration of realisations, and greater understanding and wisdom.

This exclusive light offering is also ideal for those who do not have a personal altar or are unable to make light offerings themselves.
