Thank you Pastor Niral for sharing this article. I do come across people would like to highlight or even fight which God or religion is greater or more powerful. What do they want to achieve or have in mind? Of course people would like to believe their God or religion is the best which is totally fine. However, it is not right when they impose their belief on others and start giving negative comments to change our perception when they know nothing about our belief. Ultimately whatever religion or God we believe in , we should be promoting peace, harmony and love. Arguing will not bring positive impact. Respect everyone’s choice.

Prayer wheels are used by many Tibetans everyday, sometimes for hours on end. Worshippers turn prayer wheels to accumulate merit, to help all beings in the world and to purify their karma . They are part of a meditation practice. Prayer wheels are devices for spreading spiritual blessings and well being. According to Tibetan Buddhist belief, spinning a prayer wheel is … By spinning the wheel clockwise and focusing on the mantra, prayer wheels are used to purify negative energy and accumulate good karma and wisdom. Prayer wheels are devices for spreading spiritual blessings and well being. According to Tibetan Buddhist belief, spinning a prayer wheel is just as effective as reciting the sacred texts aloud.

Interesting article .Tibetan Astrology is an important part of Tibetan culture. It is interwoven into daily life and provides guidance for major decisions. Tibetans have used astrology for thousands of years as a tool to better understand both themselves as such like health ,fortune and external factors in their lives. Tibetan Astrology is very much in connection with Tibetan Buddhism. Its a traditional discipline of the Tibetan peoples that has dialogued with both Chinese astrology and Indian astrology. This methods, is the most essential spiritual part derived from the Chinese, and the technical element coming from the Indian system. It is a complicated procedure that requires an astrologer.
Wow we can discover our traits according to the Magical Square system of Tibetan astrology . That’s wonderful from there we can know how to purify our negative karma to improve our life.
Thank you Rinpoche and Pastor Niral for this wonderful sharing.

Looking at those rare beautiful pictures and antiques shown paints a thousand words . No wonder it is called Potala of the West or Jacques Marchais Museum of Tibetan Art. The Jacques Marchais Museum of Tibetan Art offers visitors the opportunity to view Tibetan and Himalayan art in a contextual setting. Well this museum is located in Egbertville, Staten Island, New York City. It is home to one of the United States’ most extensive collections of Himalayan artifacts. Jacques Marchais, an American woman, who loves Tibetan arts ,serve as a bridge between the West and the rich ancient and cultural traditions of Tibet and the Himalayan region. She designed and built her learning home to resemble a rustic Himalayan monastery with her an all-encompassing experience. All the years she had collected numerous Tibetan arts, antiques of cultural and historical interest. She had never visited Tibet or the Himalayas, but she had a lifelong interest in the region and sought to find a permanent home for her collection. Interesting read of the inspiring lady Jacques Marchais.
Thank you Rinpoche for this wonderful sharing.

Great post on Dorje Shugden Dice Divination. Revisit this article again to understand better. Interesting to have the knowledge the effectiveness of divination that has benefited those who seek for advice or are having some sort of obstacles. Dorje Shugden who is enlightened Dharma Protector, so Dorje Shugden divination is definitely for sure to be highly accurate .Wow….it is fascinating about this divination lineage is, Dorje Shugden gave transmissions and explanations on his own text he composed during the trance. A lot more to read and understand, mainly its for those who have good motivation, clean samaya with the guru, trust and have faith in Dorje Shugden and always abstain from abusing the permission by performing divination for fame or monetary gain.
Thank you Rinpohe for this sharing.

Thank you Rinpoche for this sharing on the passing of S.N.Goenka. S.N. Goenka was a Burmese-Indian teacher of Vipassana meditation. He was truly the foremost lay teacher of Vipassana meditation of our time. Heard of this Vipassana meditation but not much knowledge. He who pioneered the Vipassana meditation movement and founded many centres in many countries worldwide . Countires like Malaysia, Thailand ,US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and so forth. He has been instrumental in the spread of Vipassana in modern times. He has travelled extensively around the world to give numerous discourses. The world lost a great man who had brought tremendous benefits to many through meditation. May his meditation teachings continue to spread further.

Names like Quagga, thylacine, Steller’s Sea Cow and a few others are my first time coming across. Interesting to know new knowledge of animals. Yes, if we don’t or those forest rangers or WWF not going to save and do something those animals will go extinct. Human intervention brought all these species to near annihilation. Endangered species may be at risk due to factors such as habitat loss, poaching and invasive species. As people kill these rare animals, through pesticides, hunting, poaching for medicinal use or for their skin or fur soon or later all these rare species will go extinct. The WWF are fight hard against that trend and preserve the rare species.
Thank you Rinpoche for this sharing ,creating awareness of protecting life and the living environment of those extinct animals.

The Unknown

The Known and unknown are both feared,
Known is being comfortable and stagnant,
The unknown may be growth and opportunities,
One shall never know if one fears the unknown more than the known.
Who says the unknown would be worse than the known?
But then again, the unknown is sometimes worse than the known. In the end nothing is known unless we endeavour,
So go pursue all the way with the unknown,
because all unknown with familiarity becomes the known.
~Tsem Rinpoche

What the meat industry figured out is that you don't need healthy animals to make a profit.
Sick animals are more profitable... farms calculate how close to death they can keep animals without killing them. That's the business model. How quickly they can be made to grow, how tightly they can be packed, how much or how little can they eat, how sick they can get without dying... We live in a world in which it's conventional to treat an animal like a block of wood. ~ Jonathan Safran Foer

Thanks to the effort of our outstation team, we were able to mobilise food provisions to 600 families living in Kelantan, Penang, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka and Johor during the Raya period with each of these families receiving RM200 worth of provisions. Adding onto the current 368 families in Klang Valley, a total of 968 families were benefitted from this. Special thanks to the sponsors who have contributed especially Hong Leong Foundation and partially from Tesco Malaysia (where we also ordered the provisions from). ~ Vivian @ Kechara Soup Kitchen

So glad that our soup kitchen operations are back in full swing. Good to see the clients are observing the SOPs. Some of them lost their job during MCO and ended up on the streets. Special thanks to our sponsors and volunteers for the great support! - Vivian @ Kechara Soup Kitchen

More photos taken from our "Hari Raya Hampers" distribution this week. Making sure everyone of our clients have something to be cheerful about. Apart from food, daily used items such as hygiene products, kitchen utensils, assorted fabric items, stationary items and toys were also included into our hamper bags making it extra heavier this month! Food items alone were about 35kg per family! Taking this opportunity to wish everyone of our Muslim volunteers, friends, supporters and clients a Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Maaf Zahir Batin. No doubt this year's celebration will be very different but appreciate everyone is safe and protected from the pandemic. We are in this together and let's work to fight this pandemic together! Thanking all sponsors and donors for the generous support enabling us to continue serve the needy with food, love and care. Big shoutout too to our wonderful team which already depleted by our very own strict SOP. All of you who worked tirelessly behind the s

Amongst all pujas, the fire puja is considered the king of all Pujas. It is the most powerful of all pujas within Tibetan Buddhism and its purpose is basically to remove all obstacles and its stains to enlightenment.
