CLEAN YOUR KIDNEYS

Years pass by and our kidneys are filtering the blood by removing salt, poison and any unwanted entering our body. With time, the salt accumulates and this needs to undergo cleaning treatments and how are we going to overcome this?

It is very easy, first take a bunch of parsley or Cilantro (Coriander Leaves) and wash it clean… Then cut it in small pieces and put it in a pot and pour clean water and boil it for ten minutes and let it cool down and then filter it and pour in a clean bottle and keep it inside refrigerator to cool.

Drink one glass daily and you will notice all salt and other accumulated poison coming out of your kidney by urination also you will be able to notice the difference which you never felt before.

Parsley (Cilantro) is known as best cleaning treatment for kidneys and it is natural!

Kidney disease can get worse over time and may lead to kidney failure. Our kidney is one of our major organs that is very important in our body. We are to take care of it before its too late. Taking foods or drinks that helps to cleanse the kidney such parsley is beneficial. Parsley has been shown to act as a natural diuretic, which can increase urination and prevent kidney stone formation. It is one of the very best treatments to help cleanse the kidneys. Researcher has proven that parsley have numerous benefits other than cleansing the kidney , it is rich in vitamin C, which is needed for immune function, wound healing, nutrient absorption, and so forth. Wow…..amazing it may have cancer-fighting properties as well. Drinking parsley drinks could act as a natural remedy to treat issues related to hormone levels too.

Thank you for sharing with us the all-natural way to take care of our wellbeings. I personally don’t like to take processed food including supplements. Natural things like vegetables or herbs go very well with our body and easier for our body to absorb.

Our modern diet is not very healthy due to food flavourings, preservatives, etcs. In order to neutralise the effects of these chemicals, we should consume all-natural food to maintain our health. Kidney is one the most important organs in our body, we must not neglect it.

I do not enjoy munching on parsley or coriander, but the benefits sound too enticing! Will try this drink out and let you guys know how it is! Post on here your feedback too 🙂

Delicious! I actually accidentally tried it the other day… it does not taste that bad at all haha. I love all these ala natural kind of recipes! They are great at keeping you healthy and a natural source of alternative medicine healing from nature.

Like they say… prevention is better than cure hence isn’t it better to eat and drink healthy now then to cough out thousands to fix your body when it is too too late? We are what we eat… so if we put in poison then we will be poisonous…like eating meat which is self-destructive http://blog.tsemtulku.com/tsem-tulku-rinpoche/animals-vegetarianism/ask-your-doctor-about-meat%E2%84%A2.html

i love cilantro so this sounds like a delicious detox.. will definitely try it. Our kidneys are very vital yet we abuse them with the junk we consume. So many people i know have kidneys which are not working well already and it is difficult to restore them. Especially people who have a lot of disorders like high cholesterol, diabetes, gout etc usually have a whole cocktail of medicines which may address the respective diseases but usually it will end up weakening the kidneys which work overtime to process the chemicals. My dad’s kidneys are not functioning well so perhaps he will try this concoction. Thank you for this article! It will be very useful for many people.

  34. David Lai on May 7, 2013 at 1:22 am

Parsley, coriander or cilantro are different names for the same herb. Now I know. I think this reminds us that we are so caught up with our lives that we often neglect what our bodies need. All of us need good nutrition and all of us need good food. The amazing thing about natural foods is that they can be medicinal as well.

Also, we would take care of our body, skin, hair, nails and so forth but we often neglect something as essential as our kidneys till it is too late. Therefore, it is wise to always nurture and take care of our bodies so we can have long lives practicing the Dharma and directly and indirectly serving others.

  35. sarahyap on May 7, 2013 at 12:42 am

Thank you for this wonderful recipe!

Taking care of our health is a very important aspect in life, when we do, it is not that we’re attached to our body in such a way as some people try to preserve their youthfulness though using different methods to stop aging… but preserving our health so that we age gracefully and can continue to serve the Dharma even if we’re 90 years old… that would be wonderful.

May everyone possess great health so that they may continue conducting virtuous actions with their physical body.

I LOVE coriander! Coriander has MANY health benefits. It is like a superfood for the raw foodies out there. I have always loved the ever so pungent but tangy taste with a slight citrus twist of this wonderful herb:

    Health Benefits of Coriander

The health benefits of coriander include treatment of swellings, high cholesterol levels, diarrhea, Mouth ulcers, anemia, digestion, menstrual disorders, small pox, eye care, conjunctivitis, skin disorders, blood sugar disorders, etc.

Coriander, commonly known as Dhania in the Indian Subcontinent or Cilantro in the Americas and some part of Europe, is an herb which is extensively used around the world as a condiment or as a garnish or as a decoration on the dishes. Its scientific name is Coriandrum Sativum L. Its leaves and fruits have typical aroma and are used raw or dried in culinary.

But that part of introduction was only the tip of the ice-berg. Coriander has so many benefits that a book can be written on them. It has eleven components of essential oils, six types of acids (including ascorbic acid, better known as vitamin-C), minerals and vitamins, each having a number of beneficial properties. The rest is given below.

Skin inflammation: Cineole, one of the 11 components of the essential oils, and linoleic acid, present in coriander, possess anti rheumatic and anti arthritic properties, which are very beneficial for swelling caused due to these two reasons. For others, such as swelling due to malfunctioning of kidney or anemia, it is seen to be effective to some extent, as some of the components help excretion of extra water from the body while.

High cholesterol levels: Some of the acids present in coriander viz. linoleic acid, oleic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid and ascorbic acid (vitamin-C) are very effective in reducing the cholesterol level in the blood. They also reduce the cholesterol deposition along the inner walls of the arteries and veins.

Diarrhea: Some of the components of essential oils in coriander such as Borneol and Linalool, aid digestion, proper functioning of liver and bonding of bowels, helping cure diarrhea. It is also helpful in diarrhea caused by microbial and fungal action, since components like Cineole, Borneol, Limonene, Alpha-pinene & beta-phelandrene have anti bacterial effects. In addition, the fresh coriander leaves are excellent appetizers.

Mouth ulcers: Citronelol, a component of essential oils in coriander, is an excellent antiseptic. In addition, other components have anti microbial and healing effects which do not let wounds and ulcers in the mouth go worse. They aid healing up of ulcers and freshen up the breath.

Anemia: Coriander is good in iron content which directly helps curing anemia.

Digestion: Coriander, due to its rich aroma because of its essential oils, apart from being an excellent appetizer, helps in proper secretion of enzymes and digestive juices in the stomach, stimulates digestion and peristaltic motion. It is helpful in treating problems like anorexia.

Small pox: The essential oils in coriander are rich in anti microbial, anti oxidant, anti infectious and detoxifying components and acids. The presence of vitamin-C and iron strengthen the immune system too. These properties help prevent and cure small pox. They also reduce the pain and have a soothing effect on pox patients.

Menstrual disorders: Being stimulating in nature and helping proper secretion from the endocrine glands, it also helps proper secretion of the hormones and thereby inducing proper menstrual cycles and reducing pains etc. during periods.

Eye care: Coriander has lots of anti oxidants, vitamin-A, vitamin-C and minerals like phosphorus in the essential oils in it which prevents aging of eye, macular degeneration and soothes eyes against stress.

Conjunctivitis: As discussed earlier, coriander is a very good disinfectant and has anti microbial properties which protect the eyes from contagious diseases like conjunctivitis.

Skin disorders: The disinfectant, detoxifying, anti-septic, anti-fungal and anti-oxidant properties of cumin are ideal for curing skin disorders such as eczema, dryness and fungal infections.

Blood sugar: Due the stimulating effect of cumin on the endocrine glands, the secretion of insulin is increased from pancreas which increases the insulin level in the blood, thereby helping proper assimilation and absorption of sugar and resultant fall in the sugar level in the blood. This property is very beneficial for the diabetes patients and others too.

Other benefits: Still want more from it? You get it! Coriander helps cure ulcer, inflammation, spasm and acts as an expectorant, protects and soothes liver. It is anti-carcinogenic, anti-convulsant, anti-histaminic and hypnotic. Coriander is believed to be a natural aphrodisiac and previously it was extensively used in certain preparations, combined with other herbs, to enhance libido.

Rob Lowe is a famous actor and celebrity from Hollywood who has starred in such films as St Elmo’s Fire and also the very popular hit TV series The West Wing. Recently he and his sons did a series called The Lowe Files which is something like an X Files series. The family investigates strange happenings, occurrences, mysterious creatures, supernatural lore, unsolved mysteries and the like. Between the three of them, Rob Lowe has previously said that they have varying levels of skepticism. While Rob Lowe is more ready to believe in supernatural phenomenon, his sons profess to be more grounded and skeptical than their father.

But with a show that focuses on such topics, of course it was only a matter of time that they covered Bigfoot. I was pleasantly surprised to see this episode because not many people, especially famous people, want to be associated with this genre of investigation. Let’s be honest – society thinks that people who investigate things like poltergeists and Bigfoot are generally regarded as a little different and quirky. So for someone who is famous to openly investigate, talk about and be interested in Bigfoot, is good for the field of investigation which is known as cryptozoology.

Even though John Lennon has passed away but his songs continue to bring positivity in people’s life. Famous people are very influential to the public, some choose to use their fame to give people a positive influence, such as John Lennon. What we want, we have to fight for it and do something to make it happens. If we want peace, we have to start with ourselves, we can’t expect it from other people.

Scores of tap water samples from more than a dozen nations were analysed by scientists for an investigation by Orb Media, who shared the findings with the Guardian. Overall, 83 per cent of the samples were contaminated with plastic fibres.

The new analyses indicate the ubiquitous extent of microplastic contamination in the global environment. Previous work has been largely focused on plastic pollution in the oceans, which suggests people are eating microplastics via contaminated seafood.

Mahon said there were two principal concerns: very small plastic particles and the chemicals or pathogens that microplastics can harbour. “If the fibres are there, it is possible that the nanoparticles are there too that we can’t measure,” she said. “Once they are in the nanometre range they can really penetrate a cell and that means they can penetrate organs, and that would be worrying.

One of the global fashion powerhouses which is Gucci is going to stop using fur for its fashion in 2018. Not only that but whatever they have remaining which is fur, they will auction off and donate the proceeds to organisations against animal cruelty.

I was so happy to hear this news! It is good when brands are self-aware and recognise the role they play in providing a demand for these cruel industries. These lead to the suffering of many animals before their painful deaths.

For such a huge global brand to make this decision must mean there is a demand for cruelty-free fashion, and they know they can remain a viable business even if they don’t offer fur. So it is also good that when consumers apply pressure to other brands, to let them know they will still buy into the clothing even if there is no fur. From the side of the consumer and the side of the producer, both can work together in this way to eradicate fur farms and cruelty to animals.

Every time we walk into a store and buy something made from leather, we are directly contributing towards the cruelty enacted upon these poor animals. Please everyone, please stop supporting cruelty towards animals, they are sentient living beings too who feel love and pain. Can you imagine yourself being skinned alive? Just the thought of it is painful, but this is what is happening to these animals, they are being skinned alive! And to add salt on wound, their limbs are cut off to prevent them from escaping, and all of these is done without anaesthetic, so you can imagine how painful and traumatic it is for the poor animals.

Please share this article with as many friends as you can to create awareness towards animal cruelty. Let’s stand up for these animals who cannot express themselves through words. Please always be kind to the animals, please always be kind to ourselves and stop hurting others.

Today, life is very different, “a giant leap for mankind” to borrow the words of astronaut Neil Armstrong. Tibetans have much more freedom to develop their abilities and opportunity to use them to their fullest. For example, Jampa Ringzin who certainly has the talent for sports, has had the opportunity to develop his baseball skills and as importantly, has been able to access the job he has now been recruited into, at a world class level. Under the old structure in Tibet, he would not have these similar opportunities or choice. This is really human development.

Many other Tibetans are very important examples of people who encompass what the New Tibet is today – a place full of potential to live a long, healthy and creative life, to be knowledgeable, and to have access to resources needed for a decent standard of living. And there is better news. Once these ABCs of human development are there, they open up opportunities for progress in other aspects of life.

We all know that no one can guarantee human happiness, and the choices people make are pretty much their own concern. But the process of human development, at its most basic, should create an environment for people, individually and collectively, to develop to their full potential and to have a reasonable chance of leading productive and creative lives that they value. This, the New Tibet provides. A new Tibet for Tibetans without the failing Central Tibetan Administration (Tibetan refugee governing body) in Dharamsala, North India.

Thank you, Martin for sharing these incredible accurate explanations of how Rinpoche help each and every single sentient being that he came across. Rinpoche was indeed a bodhisattva with a thousand arms that had the ability to do many things at once and yet precise. Rinpoche also have the ability to handle so many different kinds of neurosis in his students and dissect them down to the core of the problem and then heal it. There is no one in the world that I have met that can do and willing to do such a thing. May Rinpoche take a swift rebirth and come back to us.

    Padmasambhava

he monk Santaraksita suggests to King Trisong Detsen (khri srong lde brtsan, c. 742-800) that he invite Padmasambhava to assist with the founding of Samye (bsam yas), Tibet’s first Buddhist monastery. On his arrival, the master offers a series of prophecies and tames Tibet’s local spirits who are resisting the introduction of Buddhism. The Testament of Wa also has the master overseeing several irrigation projects in the area around Samye. Such details have led some scholars to suggest that irrigation, and the spirit taming that would have entailed, may have been an area of particular expertise for the master.

Sunrise Dorje Shugden Puja in Kechara Forest Retreat

This morning, I invited the people who I saw were up and around for a morning sunrise Dorje Shugden wisdom puja. Although the sun had already risen, there was still a lot of mist. We went to the highest point in Kechara Forest Retreat which has very good views and is surrounded by green hills. We first went to the beautiful Manjushri image and made prayers and recited mantras, then circumambulated. Then we proceeded to begin the puja in the grassy area on Manjushri Hill. We had a lovely puja and it was very nice to have the students who were awake and around to join as they are spiritual people. Afterwards we all went to Manjushri fish pond and circumambulated there too.

Loma Gyonma, known as Pita Parnasvari in Sanskrit, is one of the most efficacious healing Buddhas within Tibetan Buddhism. Her name literally means “The Mountain Mendicant Wearing Leaves”. She is also known as “Leafy Clothing Kuan Yin” in some traditions and is considered an emanation of the Buddha Tara. She manifests as a deity that has mastered all the mysteries of the forest and therefore nature, which she taps into to pacify and subjugate all illnesses, their causes, destroys harmful spirits and enriches our lives with good health. Therefore Loma Gyonma is known for her tremendous ability to heal all sorts of diseases.

As the emanation of Tara, Loma Gyonma is regarded as Lhamo Rithrodma, the 20th Tara as mentioned in the “Praise to the Twenty One Taras”. The praise to Lhamo Rithrodma states that her right eye emits blazing rays of light that burns away all the lords of diseases and epidemics.

The word “savari” in Sanskrit refers to the ancient Savara tribe who were known to wears skirts made of grass and peacock feathers and hunted with bows and arrows. Due to their culture which was heavily based on nature, they were known to be masters of the healing medicinal properties of herbs and plants.

Nageshvaraja is also sometimes called Nagaraja. His name literally means ‘Tathagatha King of the Nagas’, known as ‘Luwang Gyalpo’ in Tibetan. He is also one of the 35 Confessional Buddhas as listed within the Mahayana Sutra of the Three Superior Heaps that we prostrate to in order to purify heavy negative actions.

On October 21, 2017 Kechara had the merits to invite the holy statue of Buddha Nageshvaraja to our land. A group of Kecharians gathered to welcome Nageshvaraja and together they cleaned, washed and polished the statue. Meanwhile, another team prepared the holy items and mantras to be inserted, they packed and sewed everything into yellow cloth bags together with mothballs, incense and potpourri.

After the statue was sealed, Nageshvaraja was lifted by crane and escorted to the stone pedestal that had been built for the statue. After he had been placed on the pedestal, the group queued to make offerings of candles, khatas (silk scarves) and flower garlands. On behalf of H.E. Tsem Rinpoche, offerings of incense and milk were also made.

Dark Watchers is a mystical entities are believed to reside in the misty hillside of Big Sur in the Santa Lucia Mountains. The early Spanish explorers and Mexican ranchers that came after referred to these creatures as “Los Vigilantes Oscuros.” In modern times, they came to be known as “The Dark Watchers.”

The Dark Watchers are a group of migratory entities that have appeared in California Folklore for supposedly the past several hundred years and are purportedly stalking travelers along the Santa Lucia Mountains. They are apparently giant human-like phantoms that are only seen at twilight, and they are usually spotted standing silhouetted against the night sky along the ridges and peaks of the mountains. These beings are believed to possess incredible hearing as well as impeccable eyesight. They are also immune to high-tech detection and prefer to only reveal themselves to travelers or trekkers who are equipped with simple items like hats and sticks.

The liturgy of Dharma Protector practice is called ‘kangso’ and it is broken up into several parts including the invocation, praise, kawang, serkyem offering, mantra recitation, enthronement and dedication.

The kawang liturgy is a confessional practice in which the practitioner engages in a specific visualisation meant to purify tremendous amounts of negative karma. Before delving into the technicalities of the kawang contemplation, we first need to have an understanding of karma.

At the heart of a Dharma Protector’s kangso, or fulfilment ritual, is the recitation of the kawang liturgy, otherwise known as kangshag. Literally meaning the ‘clearing of obstacles’, this special confessional prayer utilises tantric visualisation combined with recitation in order to tap into Dorje Shugden’s power to significantly purify accumulated negative karma threatening to obstruct our practice.

Corresponding with the amount of obstacles that are to be removed, the kawang visualisation is particularly graphic. Therefore, we should dwell on the real meaning of the contemplation and not on its wrathful and violent description. It also follows that if the negative karma that obstructs our practice is forceful, then the pujas to counter it have to be equally intense.

We approach the recitation of the kawang by visualising our delusions, negative karma, habituations and so forth in the form of a man or a woman. Then, a dakini who is an emanation of Vajrayogini appears, wielding a cemetery knife, to slay the being who is the personification of our negativities. She slices the body in such a way that uncovers the inner organs, after which she makes the seven types of offerings from the remains of the corpse i.e. the wrathful sensory offerings.

The Unknown

The Known and unknown are both feared,
Known is being comfortable and stagnant,
The unknown may be growth and opportunities,
One shall never know if one fears the unknown more than the known.
Who says the unknown would be worse than the known?
But then again, the unknown is sometimes worse than the known. In the end nothing is known unless we endeavour,
So go pursue all the way with the unknown,
because all unknown with familiarity becomes the known.

Look at the poor baby chasing after the mother. Why do we do that to them? It's time to seriously think about our choices in life and how they affect others. Be kind. Don't break up families.

What the meat industry figured out is that you don't need healthy animals to make a profit.
Sick animals are more profitable... farms calculate how close to death they can keep animals without killing them. That's the business model. How quickly they can be made to grow, how tightly they can be packed, how much or how little can they eat, how sick they can get without dying... We live in a world in which it's conventional to treat an animal like a block of wood. ~ Jonathan Safran Foer
