A Visit to Wow Wow Pets Shop
On 25 April 2010, Rinpoche brought around 20 people including many newbies to Wow Wow Pets Shop at OUG, this is the shop where Rinpoche adopted Yogi/Mumu 6 years ago, and the shop is owned by a very loving lady called Elize. Rinpoche bought over 18 thousand ringgit worth of dog food, dog bowls, leashes, snacks etc. to be given to other dog shelters around Malaysia, at the same time educating the newbies about creating causes for our Kechara Animal Sanctuary (KAS) to manifest. This is also to help Elize financially. Besides, it was also a family reunion for Mumu where he met his father, mother and sister again after 6 years. -(written by Pastor Loh Seng Piow at my request)

A response from Thubten Wangmo from Youtube re the below video:
This is so lovely I cried from beginning to end. Rinpoche and all of your wonderful attendants and students are just so incredible. I wish you were here in the US so I can attend your center. I keep hinting to my husband by asking about Malaysia! He’s suspicious. 🙂
Enjoy the videos everyone…I enjoyed going to Wow Wow pet store very much. And thank you so much Thubten Wangmo. I am so glad you found the video uplifting. Thanks for sharing on my Facebook page. My people are rewarded by your comments also because they work very hard.

when i am not wearing pants and my feet are bare i come close the the naked truth of understanding the first step
Wow, Rinpoche is so generous to go to the pet shop and donate so much. And the video of how Rinpoche adopted mumu is so touching and so cute, i wish i could have been there at the moment to see this for myself. Thank you for sharing this with us Rinpoche, i really enjoyed watching the video.
A visit to a pet shop may seem just normal for anyone. But when Rinpoche went into Wow Wow Wow Pet shop which managed by Elize and Johnny Lau there were so much benefit for everyone. Rinpoche is showing to his students who had followed him to the pet shop that they are creating a cause for the Kechara Animal Sanctuary to be formed. As for the owners of the shop. Rinpoche has given them business when he bought dog food for some NGOS. This has helped a lot when they have no business. With Rinpoche going to the pet shop Elize and Johnny also had dharma. Now Elize also donate food to the homeless through KSK.
It was a memorable night, the visit to Wow Wow Pets Shop… It was the first time for many things. We stood witness to a very warm and fun doggie family reunion, we received a Dharma talk by Rinpoche in the pet shop itself, we were able to focus all our energy into creating a cause to help more animals in the future AND to keep a business afloat, we saw the Dharma seed being planted in those who were not expecting aid, we shared a very special moment when Elize finally broke into a huge smile… The visit to Wow Wow was more than just a mere trip to purchase pet food and necessities. The entire activity that night was in essence a wonderful Buddhist teaching. Thank you Rinpoche for showing me, that the Dharma can be found everywhere around us… especially through actions, and not just in scriptures.
Rinpoche give Dharma teachings in anywhere! Yes, not only restricted in Gompa or Temple, but anywhere.. in a pet shop, in MacDonalds… and it is really benefitted many people.
Why do I say that it will benefit a lot of people? Many people will think that Dharma is very boring, and must come to temple to listen to some boring talk, but Rinpoche shows us that Dharma can be very exciting and can be anywhere, and it should be everywhere! If we cannot apply Dharma on our daily lives, then it is pretty much useless 🙂
I look forward more talks from youtube!
Also, kudos to the people in Kechara InMotion who tireless edits and posts all the teachings to youtube and kechara.com website!
I live in OUG already more than 30years. I see this shop open until now! Last time when i walk in this shop this is a very scary place! coz the lady boss is always in very serious face!
But during that day we follow Tsem Tulku Rinpoche to the shop, i feel totally different! She is had change a lot, she smile and welcome we all! From that day i know that we can use our compassion to change people life!
Tsem Tulku Rinpoche He really take care all the people he meet! He really give her hope when people need it! I am so luckly i meet Rinpoche in my lifetime!
Terima Kasih Rinpoche!
How visionary! How far sighted!
With the same cause/ideal, creating affinities/causes/networking, it’s all a win-win situation for everybody, mutual respect and mutual benefit. How lucky those newbies are in getting firsthand experience lessons from Rinpoche and a hands on experience.
For the manifestation of KAS, now is the time! If not now, when?
Sadhu!
I watched this video with attention and it reminded me of this quote, it is from HENRI FORD, the founder of the car manufacturing company:
“Whether you say I CAN or I CAN’T,
Either way, you are right”
Dear Rinpoche,
Nobody ever thought me in my life that we can help people and animals in this way. You did. This is amazing and I had a wonderful experience that night. Thank you very much in showing me what compassion really means.
