American Paranormal is a one year old series on the National Geographic channel. They kicked-off their new series in 2010 with a documentary on Bigfoot!!
This documentary uses thorough and expert analysis to present new evidence based on the infamous Patterson-Gimlin film. The experts in the documentary are the very first people to ever get hold of the original film! Prior to this, others were only able to receive the copied version… and many details from the original were missed out in the copies or misleading visuals were unintentionally added in.
This documentary takes on board other experts like costume makers (from Hollywood), choreographers, film experts, scientists…they try to recreate the scene using an actor, but watching the documentary you’ll see that it’s almost impossible to recreate it!!
The height, where the joints bend, the muscle definition, how the creature walks…..the actor would have to be 7ft 6inches tall!! For a human being to grow to that size is only 1 in 100 million..
This is a must must watch video. It almost proves the existence of the Bigfoot, and if not…it rules out all possibility that it is a hoax..

In 1967, Bob Gimlin and Roger Patterson stumbled across an incredible sight whilst out in Bluff Creek, in the California wilderness. At a creek which had been freshly washed-out by recent floods, they witnessed a female Bigfoot swiftly traverse the rugged landscape. Since their filmed encounter with the Bigfoot, who has since been nicknamed Patty, many have disputed the authenticity of their recording but no one has been able to successfully prove that it is a fake.
This is an improved and stabilised version of the original footage of Patty the Bigfoot, you can see her very clearly in the video. Credits for this video goes to entirely to windvale for the original footage.

This documentary contains an excellent explanation on the Patterson-Gimlin footage of Bigfoot dubbed Patty. It goes through scientific methods to prove the image on the film is authentic. Please watch and be convinced finally. I’ve always believed the footage was genuine. Mr. Gimlin in all the interviews I’ve watched seemed very genuine and suffered tremendously as a result of the footage.

I’ve got news for anyone who isn’t already aware, there WAS AND IS a real Sasquatch body that was found dead, witnessed & photographed by dozens of people back in the 60’s right after the Columbus Day wind storm in Oregon. Crews were sent out in various areas to clear the mountain roads of all the fallen trees due to the storm. One crew found the body, crushed by a downed Spruce, killing the being. It was face down under the tree & already dead. MANY people witnessed this. It was loaded onto a flatbed truck & hauled off by authorities. There is/was a case number and strong evidence that the bones & complete autopsy & any other lab work, are in the possession of the Smithsonian Institution, secretly of course. There are just too many witnesses to dispute this event. The government seized all the photo’s they could from various people, but not all were recovered. It was described as a female, 7′ 6″ tall and weighed over 600 lbs. I hope that the few people still alive, with possession of these photo’s, will somehow get them onto the internet. Time will tell. This incident truly happened. Crews had to cut the section of the huge Spruce tree away, and block & tackle or some type of hoist had to be used to load the body onto the flatbed truck. Authorities ran everyone off rather quickly. I’ve read several eyewitness testimonies. Back then, the story was covered by local media, but the powers that be, killed the story, therefore never making it to mainstream media. If you don’t believe me, google it. It can also be found on a couple youtube channels. Use the words: “1960’s Columbus Day wind storm in Oregon, results in recovered Sasquatch body killed by tree”, or something along those lines.
I always knew that he existed! I was just to obvious that he did! This is so cool! I hope that he is not harmed by people knowing of his existence. But i have to say, it is cool that he does exist and that it is proven already.
Who’s to say that they do not exist? Maybe bigfoots are really shy in nature? hehe But whatever it is, we shouldn’t rule out the possibilities that they exist. If I can believe in existence of the ‘unseen’ beings,I don’t see why I should deny the existence of bigfoot! hehe

Cryptozoology is the search for animals that have not been proven to exist. They are normally seen and referred to in myths, legends and their sightings are merely allegations and not factually confirmed. A big furry creature with exceptionally large feet comes to mind.
Popularized by American television, most associate Big Foot with bedtime stories and fairy tales or to someone with bad eyesight. It is claimed that there has been sighting of Big Foot in southern Malaysia. Well, I am not saying anything but this does call for an investigation… Do you want to watch it on Tsem Paranormal Zone?

Thanks Rinpoche for let us eyes open to the Bigfoot. We should always open heart and accept all the sentient beings around us because they all maybe is our past life mothers.
As we are not try to harm them then they should not also harm us. Every sentient beings have the same right with us. We should stay with them in peace.

I do believe they exist… they must otherwise there would not be any proofs and people would not go to such great lengths. It is intriguing but the fact is we are sharing this planet with many and some of them are big foot 😉 Hence I am sure other mysterious creatures also exist that we may not have even heard of…

I do believe that Bigfoot exist. I’m glad there are living in the woods. They do not harm us then why are we doing all these to disturb them? I think no matter what they are they do deserved a peaceful life back in the forest. What makes us human because of humanity. I do believe they are happy by themselves in the forest.

Really quite fascinating. I LOVE the idea of there being Big Foot / Yetis and other “monsters” (though really, I like to believe they’re actually quite gentle – we’re often the real and bigger monsters).
What strikes me when I watch these videos is not so much whether they could be real, but why they WOULDN’T be real? Why would it be so impossible for them to exist? There are MILLIONS of yet undiscovered creates out in the planet which we haven’t come across yet probably because they’re so small or because they just hide very well across such vast terrains (some of which we can’t access).
I love the speculations that someone would dress up in a costume and walk across a forest just to be “caught” on film. It’s so funny – why would someone go to all those lengths to recreate something like this? The video I’ve cited above goes to lengths to explore the plausibility of this video – whether or not it could have been fabricated (it isn’t) and close studies of the actual being’s movements and physiological build that are caught on film. All studies point to it being very much real and not at all something that could have been faked back in the 60s.
These creatures are also well documented in the Tibetan scriptures – it seems quite normal actually, when you come across the accounts and notes in these texts. It was known that many high Lamas would be visited by Yetis or other creatures like this, and that they would even offer their milk, which would be used to make very powerful healing pills. This isn’t just some kind of legend, but very widely acknowledged in the Tibetan Buddhist world. Perhaps we’re the weird ones who DON’T accept the existence of these creatures – it would be like someone of another culture sitting around talking about the possible existence of chickens or cows and wondering if they’re real or not!

It is so strange to see so many people obsessed about Bigfoot! I do admit that I find it very interesting and I like reading news about it, but I probably wouldn’t have did much research on Bigfoot or go all the way there to catch a glimpse of it hehe…
However, I do admire their enthusiasm, passion and eagerness in seeking out the truth… it is one that I really can use for my spiritual path!
