Pastor Chia on Wah Lai Toi!
Pastor Chia, a long time student of mine, was invited to share his views on TV recently. He was interviewed on a paranormal program on Astro Wah Lai Toi called Supernatural Investigations. Astro Wah Lai Toi is a Cantonese-speaking subscription television channel from Malaysia.
In the program, Pastor Chia talked about some of the reasons why we may encounter spirits. Spirits need a portal to enter… when we get over-excited, drunk, angry, or are at a particularly weak point of our lives… these might be causes for us to meet them. Pastor Chia also says that if we trespass the territory of certain spirits or act disrespectfully – this may offend them, creating the cause for them to harm us.
Some believe in their existence and some don’t… However, many have experienced paranormal situations…

I’ve watched this show many years ago. Pastor Chia seemed poised and very knowledgeable. He answered every single questions & topics well.
Just now, Pastor Seng Piow was sharing about Pastor Chia’s story today in our weekly, Sunday evening Dharma class via online. Pastor Seng Piow stressed that we have to be very careful with our actions, as every action carries good/negative karma. In Pastor Chia’s case, he has to purify his negative karma of killing by cleaning and polishing Buddha statue. That’s even he is lucky to have met Rinpoche. How about us, what we can do? A lot.
Perhaps, take vegetarian vow? If one really cannot ‘tahan’ of not having meat, perhaps they could try to be meatless once a week. One step at a time.. Why not? Try…

Even though it’s old post yet its good to watch the video posted. Pastor Chia had an interviewed on a paranormal program on Astro Wah Lai Toi called Supernatural Investigations. Sound interesting. Well I do believe in the existence of spirits some may not believe. Pastor Chia explained the reasons why we may encounter spirits. Some people are more likely than others to report vivid experiences of spirits. Sensing the presence of spirits across cultures and faiths is central to many of the religions that have shaped human history. Many people of faith reported having encounter it but are poorly understood.

The show has invited different professional to explain the phenomenon as much as possible. I feel surprise with one of the interviewer talks about the dots appear on camera.

I had the the good fortune to be working with Pastor Chia in KP outlets before he was ordained.. I have always loved talking to him as he is very patient and soft spoken.. He always tries his best to answer any questions I have. Pastor Chia is very knowledgeable and and always ready to help. I loved working with him.. =)

Pastor Chia is a long time student of Tsem Rinpoche and has learned and worked closely with Rinpoche. As such he has received first hand information from Rinpoche himself. I rejoice that with his dharma knowledge he is able to assist and advice those with spirit problems and patiently sharing Rinpoche’s teachings to others.
I did watch this series too, but so far only 2 episode I have watched. Pastor Chia is one of Rinpoche’s senior student, he is very knowledgeable and experienced about spirit disturbance.
In this series, they have invited many people from different lineage, and different skills to give an overview of pictures taken from the haunted area. One of the very good series for gaining knowledge for ourselves.
I respect Pastor Chia a lot coz he has lots of knowledge. When he was in Kechara outlets last time, he can talk and explain to customers very well. I can tell when some of the customers have problems, Pastor Chia can really help them as I can see them leaving feeling better. So, to have Pastor Chia share his view on this talk show is the best, besides Rinpoche of course.
It is nice to see our very own Pastor Chia on Television talking about paranormal stuff, ghosts and spirits.
It is really hard to believe at first that spirits, ghosts, black magic and etc are actually real but for most people after seeing shows like this we tend to believe, same as the saying Seeing is Believing!
This will also help us spread our very own Tsem Paranormal Zone, so that more people will get to know us too!
Pastor Chia is well qualified to talk about this topic of spirits. Even though most TV programs have the objective of entertainment and sensationalising spirits, it is good that this program is featuring Pastor Chia to give an informative perspective. A lot of people are afraid of spirits because they do not understand them. When people have knowledge, they will be less afraid. Also, as they understand more and realise that we CAN become spirits in future, then they will hopefully want to know how to NOT become a spirit.
It is good that the Paranormal Zone, produced by Kechara, and this TV program gives airtime to experts on the issue. Pastor Chia not only knows what he is talking about, because of his being a long time student of Tsem Rinpoche, Pastor Chia is able to have solutions for spirit problems also. We are very fortunate that due to Rinpoche’s kindness, we have the pastors at Kechara who are able to help people short and long term.
Pastor Chia has been a long time student of our Guru, Tsem Tulku Rinpoche, and a very old friend of mine and fellow-Kecharian member. He was the inspiration and pride (if I may say that) for my being a Kecharian member. A very devoted practioner under Rinpoche, he is indeed very knowledgeable in actual dharma practices which he had extensively learned from Rinpoche whom he has served from day one! I have absolute faith and belief in pastor Chia and of the expectation he will go far in imparting his dharma knowledge to benefit many others.
Wow Pastor Chia congrates… I don’t quite understand Chinese but I can see from Pastor Chia’s interview… you sure sound profession. Like expert in this paranormal field. Actually I’ve known Pastor Chia for more than 10 years now, and ever since I knew him, he has always been advicing people about prayers, spirits and sharing Rinpoche’s teachings to many who walk in at that time… KPSS2 outlet doors. He has helped many people and through Rinpoche’s guidance and teachings, he is able to do so more now as Pastor. He can even give Baby baptism and be a wed couple 🙂
It is good to see that Chia is now Pastor Chia and is sharing his wealth of knowledge which Rinpoche has taught him on national TV. Excellent.. I am proud of him. Good on you Pastor Chia because you have a lot of knowledge to share and benefit others as you are one of Rinpoche’s long time student who Rinpoche has taught many rituals and prayers on how to help others in sickness, death and weird encounters. Keep it up Pastor Chia!
Pastor Chia is really knowledgeable and have many experiences over the years.. I love to listen to the stories he share whenever he is in the outlet or when he talks to customers. Over the years, Kechara outlets have quite a lot of walks ins with spirit disturbances or black magic curses. Pastor Chia will always do his best to listen attentively and help them in any way he can. So it’s no surprise that he is one of the best person to interview. So proud of you Pastor Chia! Keep it up!
所谓光怪离奇的人事物，即便这个时候我们不晓得其中的缘由，不过能有一个比较合理和逻辑的解释，而非一味地以迷信开始，以盲目跟从结束总是比较好的。
今天我们不晓得缘由并不代表这些事物就是虚假的，同理，今天我们没有看见的也未必是捏造的或某些人想象出来的。
It is very important for us to be careful and not to simply open doors to any kinds of powers or spirits that we are unsure of. Once the channel or chakra is open there is no telling what kinds of beings will use that route to harm us or befuddle us. This is not a laughing matter, spirits do not have a body and they probably crave senstations that in their current state cannot give to them so once they get a taste of taking over our bodies after hundreds or thousands of years without having a body they just ,may decide to stay.
Pastor Chia has a lot of Dharma knowledge to share with others. He has been Rinpoche’s close student for a very long time. Many of us at one point have encountered such paranormal experiences. By understanding its existence and Pastor giving advice and solutions to pacify such disturbances, we are able to accommodate it. These beings are suffering too.
Wow Pastor Chia, I know this program. It is very popular among Chinese community. I hope a lot of people will get to know Kechara and join Kechara soon. Rejoice to you Pastor Chia

Pastor Chia had been following Rinpoche for a long, long time, something like more than 10 years. He has a lot of Dharma knowledge and methods that he had learnt from Rinpoche to help people with spirit problems. Rinpoche ordained him as a Pastor and this gives him the spiritual authority to help people.
Actually spirit problems is really a small way that he can help others. Pastor Chia is able to explain and give advice for people who are interested in pursuing spiritual practice in Buddhism. Besides knowledge of the Dharma, Pastor Chia had personally assisted Rinpoche and have helped him in many cases of assisting practitioners. My point is that Pastor Chia is very qualified to assist people and it is good that he has publicity via such avenues so more people know and can contact him.
I wonder if we are watching those show that trying to prove the existence of spirit by trance. Would it be attracted to our house? Sounds like Japanese ghost climbing out from the TV … Hehe.. . I experienced the light blinking and electronic prayer set sound changing sharply while the ghost show was showing the ghost image and sounds (frequency).
Pastor Chia really does have a lot of knowledge on a wide spectrum of Buddhist teachings, and most of was accumulated steadily over the years. Being one of the first few students of Rinpoche in the early days, Pastor Chia got a lot of first-hand Dharma from Tsem Rinpoche himself. I am glad that after all those years, he now has the opportunity to share his knowledge with others – even on TV! 🙂
Due to ignorance or karmic reasons, some people get into troubles with spirits and do not know how to solve it. It can really be a big issue when we face these kind of disturbances but do not know how to handle them well.
It is such a nice thing to know that Kechara has pujas that can help solve this situation and that through many years of learning from Rinpoche Pastor Chia has equipped himself with the knowledge and ability to help lay people like us.
May Pastor Chia continue to share his knowledge with many others and help those who are in need.

Pastor Chia has been interviewed for 2 seasons of the program. The first season Pastor Chia was not officially ordained as a pastor yet; while the second season he has officially became a pastor.
Pastor Chia is one of the few person I knew when I came to Kechara. He is very knowledgeable, he was Rinpoche’s personal attendance many years ago before Kechara House established. He is also the person who followed Rinpoche for more than 10 years.
I have the fortune to listen to his story of how he has come about together with Rinpoche, it really touched me, for a person who has so much faith in Rinpoche when Rinpoche has nobody and nothing.

I know the producer and director of this program, they like Pastor Chia’s logical and buddhism point of view in paranormal topics. Especially when came to case study, Pastor Chia gave very logic explainations with subtle touched on buddhism eg cause and effect, karma etc.

I have been following this program since it started and have seen Pastor Chia give very good explainations. I feel his explainations are easily understood, believable and relevant, maybe the best invited guest….Not being bias here. Kudos to Pastor Chia!
