Li Kim interviewed by BFM 89.9 radio station
A few days ago, Liaison Li Kim was interviewed by BFM: The Business Radio Station. As most people would know, Li Kim is the host of a highly anticipated reality TV show called ‘Tsem Paranormal Zone”. Their first season is set to premiere on the 1st October 2012 on NTV7! The series will then continue to air on NTV7 every Monday at 9pm.
For their first season, Li Kim and her crew have been visiting eery, paranormal places around Malaysia for a few months now. After much hard work and fearless visits to discover the unknown, their effort has paid off and we will be seeing Li Kim on national TV.
Malaysia have never had a locally-produced, English paranormal reality TV show… as the first of its kind, many people are very excited and anticipate the series.
Two days ago, Li Kim was invited for an interview on BFM 89.9. They tried to get a few spoilers here and there, but Li Kim was sharp and quick to not give out the juicy bits! To launch their first season officially, Li Kim will be having a private launch party on the 19th September. It is strictly by RSVP only… but perhaps other worldly beings may drop by… who knows… hehe

That was an amazing interview with Li Kim. As always Li Kim is a witty, smart, brave and bold person. Li Kim isn’t a ghostbuster but merely bridging our world with the paranormal. One of the reasons Tsem Paranormal was created and produced was to bring to us the realities of the other world although we may not perceive, see or thought they existed. This could perhaps lead us to ask more questions on the existence of these unknown beings in their world and how they came into existence. I certainly think it is an eye-opener for non-believers. You have done a great job Li Kim!

Li Kim is such an incredible person! She is good in all she does… And she does it well by doing more to promote Rinpoche and Kechara. TPZ is really interesting with her as the host as it is much fun to watch. She really did a fantastic job! And I saw the part where she was left in the jungle alone in one of the clip on FB and she is SO BRAVE! Respect! Cant wait for Season 2! Bravo Li Kim!

Somehow I feel that she is the perfect host for this kind of shows,you know funny, mysterious and witty. She has worked really hard to bring us this wonderful episodes to the television and i think that she deserves a big Thank you
i heard the interview and i am so proud of my mom to be able to be so successful and now she can prove to people spirits do exist and are there, and as she always says what you see may not be real but what is real you may not see. 😀
It is not easy to produce a paranormal show. I’ve seen some on TV. They are really professionals and they do their research and analysis of results in a very professional manner. They are also respectful of the environment and present their findings after careful analysis. I’m sure Li Kim will do a great job. From what she says in the interview, she knows what she’s doing and I like the fact that she looks upon the spirits and other worldly beings with respect and compassion.
Li Kim is everything that everyone else has said. I have had the good fortune to work with her at Kechara Media & Publications, from the tumultuous day she joined us up til now. She has taken the role of being a host on this show all the way, and together with the rest of the TPZ team, created a paranormally successful first season! I hope Li Kim and TPZ will have the support and opportunity to shoot the next season which will be even better than the first, i’m sure! Well done!
Goodness, Li Kim really is such a good speaker. How she sounds in this interview is her usual self. No pretentiousness, and a little bit of crass!
I heard from Dato’ Ruby how there was one episode where Li Kim had to sit in the middle of the jungle with a rolling camera. The crew walked a kilometre away in hopes that leaving her there alone, the spirits would show themselves. Dato’ Ruby said that she wanted to cry just thinking about leaving Li Kim on her own, for an HOUR, in the middle of the jungle at night. It was pitch black.
When Tsem Rinpoche asked Li Kim to be the host of The Paranormal Zone series, she went all the way with it. Now Li Kim has appeared all over national newspapers and radio stations.

Li Kim has certainly come a long long way and I’m really proud of seeing someone like her who basically has everything she needs, no major problems in life, but who came in to Dharma and went all the way with it. It is amazing and inspiring because she does it with so much fun and enthusiasm. She proves to the world and everyone around her that you can be a mother, you can be hot, you can be rich and you can still be spiritual. Now that is what I find powerful and inspiring.
TPZ was the brainchild of Tsem Rinpoche, our Guru, who picked Li Kim to play this role as a TV host. It is befitting of Li Kim as she is natural born speaker who is humorous as well as engaging. It’s true Rinpoche always knows what exactly His students is capable of and we just need to follow instructions all the way and well, even being a TV host you can benefit so many.

Oh my gawd!!! Li Kim, you are a such a star! You speak so well and you are very funny and eloquent with your replies to the questions. Clearly, you are not nervous and you speak your mind very well. It is good that people like you who look good, speak well and can represent the Dharma.
It has been a pleasure working with you and working with you again. Somehow, we have very strong and good karma in this direction. Its amazing that Li Kim is able to juggle being a mother to 3 very boisterous kids, publication works, business, being a star and assisting Tsem Rinpoche. You are simply an amazing woman! I don’t know of another more successful mother could do a better job at juggling being a mother, work and spirituality in one perfect balance.
What we see in the TPZ every Monday night 9 pm on ntv7 is exciting and thrilling. Beneath that sweet smile and confident look, what we don’t see is that Li Kim works very very hard, waited long hours & patiently for something to happen. With the hardworking team, the TPZ put together such an exciting show for the viewers, which by now should have exceeded a million viewers. Anyone who has watched it would agree that the show is educational and focus on a wide spectrum of other beliefs/practices makes the show unique. We wish Li Kim all the best and look forward to another season of TPZ.

Li Kim is a very versatile and extremely talented. If I am not mistaken this is the very first show she has hosted and it is a hit and the numbers of viewers jumped to close to a million viewers only after 6 or 7 episodes. It shows that people like Li Kim’s style, her personality and also the stories she has to tell. The TPZ is not a fake show where there are just stories and re-enactments but Li Kim and the grew actually interface with the paranormal beings. Kechara In Motion under Ms Han did a fantastic production job to capture all that.
I agree with Paris, Li Kim is one of the kindest person I have known and with the fullest range of personalities (I mean that in a good way). She can go from being a very focussed leader to someone who can really rock a party. But at all times, she is a good friend.

I am exceptionally proud to know Li Kim – who is not just a star as a celebrity but a star of a person, a friend and a sister. I am so happy that this programme is taking off and that she is getting so much exposure for being a true star. The world will be a better place knowing her and having her out there as a positive influence.
She has worked extremely hard for TPZ, often on shoot for many days in the row across very isolated, remote places around Malaysia. She also juggles this in between her other responsibilities with Kechara Media & Publications, some private work for Rinpoche and of course, family and three young sons. Wonder woman? I THINK SO!
On top of all this, she is an amazingly kind, generous, patient, compassionate human being – someone who is always there for friends, who will be there when you’re at your most down, to pick you up and force you back on your feet, then give you a big hug to let you know you’re okay. She has the magic ability to laugh, make you laugh any time of the day and to love you fully because she has this huge amazing heart.
TPZ, television and the world is a better place because of Li Kim. If there are indeed many other spooky beings out there, I’m glad that their bridge to Dharma and compassion is Li Kim and that they have a true blessing of seeing her while she’s out on shoot.
