His Eminence Tsem Rinpoche comes from Gaden Monastery, Gaden is a monastic university, the monks study and debate daily besides praying. Their extensive syllabus covers various subjects from Tibetan history, literature, poetry, grammar, English, Mathematics, thangka painting, torma making, tailoring, calligraphy, sand mandala creation to the highest of Buddhist philosophy.
Throughout the years, Tsem Rinpoche has always supported the monastery’s education department by raising fund for them to purchase new books for the library, computer facilities for the monks, furniture, fixtures etc…and until today Rinpoche is still doing that, and it is a direct cause to create great geshes, scholars, masters in the future.

HE Tsem Rinpoche comes from Gaden Monastery,Rinpoche had travelled from US to be ordained in India. Gaden Monastery is a world-renowned monastic university which was founded in the 14th century by the great scholar and saint, Lama Tsongkhapa. The beginning of Gaden Monastery in India was very difficult due to many reasons. Financially was one and Rinpoche had helped and supported the monastery ’s education department from the very beginning . Even coming to Malaysia Rinpoche continued to support them raising funds to purchase new books for the library, computer facilities for the monks, furniture, fixtures etc. These has carried on till the present days to create great geshes, scholars, masters in the future.

Rinpoche will never forget his alma mater and all the people who has helped and journeyed with him so far. I know Rinpoche will do his utmost to benefits those who require his help and also assist in the proliferation of the Gaden Tradition.
Throughout the years till today, Rinpoche has always being supportive of the Monastry’s Education Department by raising funds for them to purchase new books for the library, computer facilities for the monks, furniture fixtures etc. Rinpoche is said by many, both from fella monks and lay community, that “Rinpoche has limitless generosity,” even before he was recognised as a Rinpoche! He would help anyone he could, although he had so little for himself and often struggled to even find enough funds for food. He would always share whatever he had with others less fortunate than himself, as mentioned by monks in his “Book of Promise” published by Kechara Media & Publication. As well as finding countless sponsor-ships to support the monks of his Monastry, Rinpoche had also to consistently provide assistance to the poor people both from the Tibetan refugees and local Indians in the village around the Monastry. During those days, he had to personally arrange for food, sundries and basic supplies to be brought and delivered once a month to households throughout the villages. For the further support of the lay Tibetan refugee community, Rinpoche helped by raising funds to build schools, hospital, water-pump and an old folks’ home. Though these facilities were very rudimentary, the communities were so poor and have little access even to the most basic welfare and amenities. Because of Rinpoche’s unconditional generosity, till today these people and community have tremendous respect and love for our most compassionate and generous Guru, H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche! “May our venerable Guru’s life be completely stable, May all his pure deeds spread to the ten directions, and May the Lamp of Lama Tsongkhapa’s teachings, Always remain, dispelling the darkness of the ignorance of Beings!” OM MANI PADME HUNG.

Rinpoche is such a giving and caring person, he cares for us and others too. He will go out of his way to help another being. This is amazing how he provides for that monastery and i hope that the spread of dharma can be further spread.
Dharma is wisdom, Rinpoche always think and help all Sanghas in Gaden Monastery and never forget them. To help Monastery education, Rinpoche raised fund for them to purchase new book and all facilities to make sure they able to learn Dharma at good condition and environment. 仁波切的善举，慈悲和智慧是至高无上的。仁波切所强调的一个喇嘛，一个中心。就是要我们可以为自己的寺院为中心而弘扬佛法。不管仁波切身在何处，但只要有仁波切的传法中心，仁波切一定会用佛法加持和做到最完善以便可以利益众生。这是值得我们学习的榜样。

So many of what Rinpoche did were behind the scenes, whatever that is reported on the blog is only the tip of the iceberg. Rinpoche wants to create many dharma teachers for the preservation of the Lama Tsongkhapa and the buddhist traditions.

Rinpoche has always told us it is very good for us to offer to the Sangha as it helps them continue to learn the Dharma. Rinpoche also understands the situation and conditions these monks study in and wants to improve and help them in their Dharma studies. Rinpoche is always giving no matter the gender, status or relationship, Rinpoche’s compassion spreads wide to everyone at different levels. Thank you Rinpoche for always guiding us by example. Rinpoche has always support the growth of dharma especially among the Sangha community if there no Sangha there will be no dharma and for lay people like us will not be able to learn the dharma and benefit from the dharma, therefore we should continue to support Rinpoche so that the Dharma will grow and will be benefits more people and may KFR will grow to bring more Dharma to more people.

Rinpoche’s devotion towards his guru and his monastery is truly respectable. Rinpoche is no ordinary Lama, he does not just do prayers and give teachings, he provides and cares for his monastery and helps to ensure that the Dharma is spread well in the future through the monastery.
Ganden Sharstse not just Tsems monastery it is yours too if you follow Tsem. Less than 2 hours before I saw this post I was on Gandens website looking for donation cost. For $18.20 U.S. dollars you can sponsor Gold paintings offerings to their manjushuri staues in their debate hall. They have 1015 of them to get done and so far only 184 have been sponsored.
At the bottom of the page you can sponsor a monk for $10.90 U.S. dollars a month. That is only $120 dollars a year! Sadly my cable bill is $120 a month and now i feel horrible for wasting money on garbage.
What intrest me most on the site is Senior monks home sponsorship. You can donate any amount to help elders at the monastery. Im torn thou because I would like to also donate to the cow farm sponsorship because they use the milk to give the elder monks vitamins and minerals to keep them alive.
I watched Tsems youtube video called going home where he went to the monastery and donated 3,000 robes and 3,000 statues. It brought tears to my eyes. He has also donated new marble flooring to one of the halls and im pretty sure he built a building for more monks to live. This shouldn’t be just on Tsems sholders to carry the load we all should pitch in and help ourselves.
