I love Tibet

An autonomous state means a state or province that exists within a country, that is allowed to govern itself. However it does not have its own international identity, nor can it conduct independent relationships as an independent nation-state but willingly embraces the global identity of the country it exist within.

So you can have autonomy as a state but you still belong to a country and must conform to its rules and share the collective interest of the nation. Hong Kong is autonomous but it is still a part of China and accordingly it does not fly a Hong Kong flag but the national flag of China to show it is are part of China.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama does not want Tibet to be an independent country but an autonomous state of China (the Middle Way). We should fulfill the will of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. So if the Dalai Lama and Central Tibetan Government (CTA) want to placate China so that China will resume negotiations for Tibet to be a genuine autonomy, hence settling the Tibet issue, one of the things they should do is stop flying the Tibetan flag immediately. Otherwise it is a contradiction. They should hoist and fly the Chinese flag within their government offices in Dharamsala and all Tibetans should use this from now on as a start to show they are genuine about wanting autonomy.

I wish China and Tibet to be friends. I wish the people of both nations to be happy and prosper. I wish China to further grow and fulfill it’s destiny of contributing to the betterment of our Earth. I wish His Holiness the Dalai Lama would allow all of us Dorje Shugden people to meet him and enjoy his blessings. We miss him and love him. Please accept us because regardless of our religion we are still Tibetans. Please unite us. I wish His Holiness the Dalai Lama a long life and to bless us with his wisdom. I prostrate to His Holiness the Dalai Lama always,

Tsem Rinpoche

After so many years nothing is happening , the CTA not reaching to China to settle issue of Tibet. Its long overdue, as time is running out as HH DalaiLama ‘s age catching up. HH Dalai Lama Middle Way Approach and making friends with China sincerely is taken for granted . HH Dalai Lama ‘s hope of returning to Tibet is still not materialised after so many years. HH Dalai Lama already said that he long to return . Tibetans should respect HH Dalai way . Tibetans should use Chinese flag to show they are serious about wanting autonomy. For the benefit of all Tibetans, I do hope the CTA will follow HH Dalai Lama’s advice and unite all Tibetans to live harmoniously .
Thank you Rinpoche for sharing this post.

For the first time available, Dorje Shugden and his entourage of 32 asssistants of his mandala.

Dorje Shugden is a powerful protector deity who is also an emanation of Manjushri, a wisdom bestowing Buddha. Therefore, he has great ability to help us to progress further on the spiritual path. He does this by helping us to overcome obstacles and problems for the modern individual.

Due to his enlightened nature, Dorje Shugden is able to manifest 32 deities and within the same abode resides Setrap and Kache Marpo:-

    1. 5 Dorje Shugden families or emanations. They consists of the following:-

    – Dulzin Dorje Shugden, which performs activities to eliminate inner and outer obstacles.
    – Shize, which performs activities to pacify all illnesses and disease.
    – Gyenze, which performs activities to increase all desirable material and spiritual wealth.
    – Wangze, which performs activities to control difficult people and circumstances.
    – Trakze, which performs activities to wrathfully eliminate all insurmountable obstacles and life-threatening situations.

    2. 9 Mothers. They represent protection of the five senses and developing control of the four elements. These are all attributes that signify their ability to assist tantric practitioners with their higher meditations.

    3. 8 Guiding Monks. They represent the Eight Great Bodhisattvas (Avalokitesvara, Manjushri, Vajrapani, Samantabhadra, Maitreya, Kshitigarbha, Akashagarbha, Sarva-nivarana-viskambini) and they bring about the growth of the Dharma, through the Sangha, Dharma practitioners and Dharma establishments.

    4. 10 Youthful & Wrathful Attendants. They represent the ten wrathful attendants to avert inner and outer obstacles. They are beings who are from Mongolia, China, Kashmir, India, Bengali, etc.

    5. Setrap. He is a senior Dharma Protector from India and an emanation of Amitabha Buddha. He had enthroned Dorje Shugden as an authentic Dharma Protector. Therefore, he also resides within the same mandala of Dorje Shugden.

    6. Kache Marpo. He is not an emanation of Dorje Shugden but he is still an enlightened Dharma Protector in his own right. He was originally known as Tsiu Marpo of Samye Monastery. However, he has placed himself under the service of Dorje Shugden as his chief minister, performing many activities in order to protect and benefit practitioners. Therefore, he stands guard at the main entrance of Dorje Shugden’s mandala. He often takes trance of qualified mediums to speak.

    7. Namkar Barzin. He is the reincarnation of an old Mongolian monk and when he passed away in Phari area of Tibet, his spirit was placed as a powerful assistant of Dorje Shugden. He guards and protects buildings and great institutions especially those that benefit others. He rides on a mythical Gyaling animal that resembles a goat but with scales.

These sacred images are available on *Vajrasecrets. They are made of high quality alloy and are one of a kind. They are based on the lineage of His Holiness Panchen Rinpoche’s monastery, Tashilhunpo in Shigatse, Tibet. In fact, the iconography of these statues are based on detailed photographs taken by H. E. Tsem Rinpoche during a trip to Tashilhunpo’s protector chapel. These are based exactly as the 10th Panchen Lama’s personal collection.

His Holiness the 10th Panchen Lama

Tibetans commonly refer to His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama and His Holiness 10th Panchen Lama as the “sun and moon” of Tibetan Buddhism. They are the center of Tibetan Buddhist civilization, which draws to its sphere of influence millions of non-Tibetan practitioners. The Panchen Lama’s incarnation line began with the 16th abbot of Tashi Lhunpo Monastery, Lobsang Chokyi Gyeltsen (1570 – 1662). He was bestowed the title of Panchen Lama by His Holiness the 5th Dalai Lama after being declared as an emanation of Amitabha.

After being given the title, his three previous incarnations were posthumously also bestowed the title, making Lobsang Chokyi Gyeltsen the 4th Panchen Lama. He became a teacher to many Tibetans, Bhutanese and Mongolian religious figures, including His Holiness the 4th and 5th Dalai Lamas, and the 1st Jetsun Dampa of Mongolia. A prolific author, Chokyi Gyeltsen is credited with over a hundred compositions, including a number of commentaries and ritual texts that remain central in the Gelukpa tradition today. Along with his role as a teacher of the Dharma, the Panchen Lamas are usually responsible for the recognition of the rebirths of the Dalai Lamas, and vice versa.

The 10th Panchen Lama, Lobsang Trinley Lhundrub Chokyi Gyeltsen (19 February 1938 – 28 January 1989) continued both the spiritual and political roles of his predecessors. His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, his contemporary, was even heard to say and echo the Panchen Lama’s own words that the Dalai Lama would safeguard Tibet from the outside while the Panchen Lama would safeguard Tibet from the inside, as he never left Tibet after the political troubles of 1959. He was truly loved by the Tibetans, all the way until his passing. When he taught, thousands of people would attend, not only from his own Gelug lineage, but masters and practitioners from all traditions of Tibetan Buddhism.

At his sprawling monastery of Tashi Lhunpo, he has a special chapel specifically dedicated to Dorje Shugden, where prayers and rituals are performed on a daily basis. In his great omniscience the Panchen Lama held Dorje Shugden as the principal Dharma protector of the monastery. He also personally propitiated Dorje Shugden among other Dharma protectors, and even wrote extensive prayers and rituals to Dorje Shugden. These rituals and prayers are contained within his ‘sung bum’ or collected works, which are provided here. As such a great lama, with an erudite and clear understanding of the Buddhist scriptures, a teacher to millions in both Tibet and China, from an established incarnation line and an emanation of the Buddha Amitabha, he could not be mistaken about his practice of Dorje Shugden.

His Holiness 10th Panchen Lama is known for his composition of commentaries and practice texts that are still in use by contemporary Buddhist practitioners both in Tibet and across the world. One of these is a powerful ritual composition propitiating the compassionate Dorje Shugden.

Upon the request by Acharya Lobsang Jangchub to compose a shorter version of the prayer (sadhana) for the exhortation of activities of Dorje Shugden, Panchen Lama immediately composed an abbreviate form of Dorje Shugden’s Kangsol. This text is entitled “Manjunatha’s (Tsongkapa) Lineage protector Dorje Shugden and five forms wrathful propitiations and confessional prayers and fulfilment of activities rites” or “Melodious sound of Accomplishment of the Four Activities” for short. Once the prayers were completed, he had signs and strong feelings that Dorje Shugden has been working hard to protect the Buddhadharma in general and the lineage of Lama Tsongkhapa specifically.

Mirroring the abilities of one of his earlier incarnations, Khedrub Je, a disciple of Lama Tsongkhapa and master of both sutra and tantra, the Panchen Lama used his compositional skill and poetic prowess to create a masterful sadhana. Worthy of note is a praise in which the first letter of each verse is a Tibetan vowel. Such compositions are rarely seen, and have historically only been used when propitiating senior Dharma protectors such as Palden Lhamo and Kalarupa.

The Panchen Lama also stated that while composing the Dorje Shugden sadhana (prayers) he was filled with a sense of happiness and bliss. He ends the composition with not only his official title but his ordination name, Tenzin Trinley Jigme Choje Wangchuk, endorsing the validity of his work. He composed the sadhana in his own Tashi Lhunpo monastery while in the Hall of Clear Light and Bliss.

“If the Dalai Lama, if His Holiness the Dalai Lama can be harmed by Dorje Shugden, then we might as well not practice Buddhism anymore. If His Holiness the Dalai Lama can have his life shortened by a so-called evil spirit, any evil spirit, then can he be Avalokiteshvara? So on one hand you say, we say, I say, everybody says, he is Avalokiteshvara; on the other hand you’re saying that he can be harmed by an evil spirit… Which one is it? Can he be harmed by an evil spirit or is he Avalokiteshvara? Do you think Avalokiteshvara, Manjushri, Vajrapani, Tara all take refuge in something else to protect themselves from Dorje Shugden? How illogical is that? How illogical of people to say His Holiness the Dalai Lama can be harmed by an evil spirit, any evil spirit or “Dorje Shugden” evil spirit. How is that possible?” – Tsem Tulku Rinpoche

This video condensed and made simple the history of the Dorje Shugden ban and the sufferings Dorje Shugden people experienced and continue to experience for 20 years. The video also laid out and reveal the truth and facts that Dorje Shugden was the Protector who advised His Holiness the Dalai Lama to flee to India and hence His Holiness’ life is saved. There is no religious freedom for the Dorje Shugden people worldwide because of the Dorje Shugden ban executed by the Central Tibetan Administration. We are, until today being discriminated and persecuted for simply practising our choice of religion and this is the truth.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama does not want Tibet to be an independent country. His Holiness the Middle-Way Approach is to resolve the issue of Tibet, achieve genuine autonomy with China.

The CTA should listen and obey to His Holiness the Dalai Lama wishes. All false allegations about Dorje Shugden issue where CTA claimed Dorje Shugden practitioners are Chinese spy or agents of Chinese have to be stopped. It is time for CTA to reach out and make friend with China sincerely wanting autonomy by raising China flags started from their governance office in Dharamsala. The Tibetan deserved their freedom, peace and harmony.

  12. Joy on Oct 29, 2017 at 3:23 am

It is really up to the Tibetan exile government to play their cards right. It is in their hands. The future of Tibet and His Holiness’s return to Tibet is in their hands. If they want autonomy like what His Holiness is asking for, then the logical thing to do is to stop irritate China. Of course, you would be raising the country you wish to be in, flag and in this case, China.

At the moment everything they say and do is a total opposite and the results they are getting is, of course, more cold shoulder from China and more mistrust. What do you expect when you have a group of people who are in the parliament who does the opposite? The hypocrisy is unbelievable in Tibetan leadership, they say one thing and do another. The worst part is the pretend to the victims, using the refugee status to seek for funds. Very sad indeed. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

I agree with the message on this article, if Tibetans in exile are really genuine for autonomy and that is the message of Umaylam and also His Holiness the Dalai lama then, they should adhere o such a direction.

I hope the Dalai Lama can return to Tibet the soonest possible.

Recently Beng Kooi and Martin on behalf of myself and Kechara was lucky to have audience with His Holiness Gaden Trisur Rinpoche Jetsun Lungrik Namgyal of Gaden Shartse Monastery. He lives in around Paris, France. His Holiness is 91 years old and very healthy and alert. He was the 101st throne holder for Tsongkapa and was the head of the Gelugpa school of Buddhism and was very successful during his tenure. He is a strong practitioner of both Sutra and Tantra of Je Tsongkapa’s tradition and a master of all Buddhist knowledge. He holds steadfast to his protector Dorje Shugden very strongly. So we can see even the highest throneholders who are masters of Sutra and Tantra also practices Dorje Shugden knowing the benefits.

Beng Kooi and Martin brought photo albums of Kechara Forest Retreat/Kechara and updates on Kechara and our works. His Holiness was very pleased to listen and offered some gifts back.

This is a beautiful picture and the great blessings bestowed on us from His Holiness Gaden Trisur Rinpoche Jetsun Lungrik Namgyal.

Is the Tibetan in Exile government really serious about implementing the HH Dalai Lama’s Middle Way approach to obtain autonomous from China? Do they have any bargaining power with China at all? If they don’t, is it time to start saving for some chips for bargaining? If CTA keep spreading hatred towards China, why would China want to give them the autonomous power?

That’s why I said CTA is never serious about getting autonomous from China. Ministers in CTA is just milking the western countries in the name of democracy, and benefit their own self. And for the rest of the Tibetans in exile, it is a “good luck” to them, unless they start voicing out their dissatisfaction.

By the way, for Tibetans who are are really not happy with your current situation, we Dorje Shugden practitioners are not your enemy. Your real enemy is certain ministers in CTA. Calling us “Chinese dogs” will not help your situation. Voicing out to your CTA is the first step in solving your issues. Good luck.

His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama is known to be the emanation of Chenrezig and as the emanation of Buddha of Compassion, am sure that His Holiness has the wisdom and clairvoyance to advise on the best way forward for the Tibetans. His Holiness’ Middle Way (Umayalam) approach makes sense as CTA and Tibetans are far from ready or are anywhere near equipped to run their own country independently.

Logically, CTA should follow His Holiness’ advice and strive towards autonomy as am sure His Holiness has Tibet and Tibetans’ best interests at heart. So Tibetans should fly the Chinese flag for now, perfect the machinery of running a good government and establish Tibet once again. Perhaps once good governance and economic stability are achieved, Tibetans can then eventually seek independence.

  19. Pastor Antoinette on Oct 13, 2017 at 6:56 am

It has been a long fight for the Tibetans who have lost their country 60 years ago. I think there need to be a solution for the refugees as the situation remains painful for them. Tibetans are living in many countries such as India, Nepal, and in many parts of the world. The Tibetans need to move on and make peace with what happened and make the best of it.

HH the Dalai Lama is requesting autonomy within China. This would mean that the Tibetans must use the Chinese flag. I hope that the Tibetan Government in Exile supports the request of the Dalai Lama for the benefit of all Tibetans.

Independence would require readiness, much like a child would be independent when he or she can be responsible and independent for his or her wellbeing. A large part of success for the latter requires a huge amount of prep by the parents, guardian or the community depending on their tradition, if any. If not well prepared for adulthood, there is bound to be unnecessary and untold suffering from trial and error. For a nation to endure that would be disastrous.

The feudalistic society weakened self governance to the extent that neighbours will invade. Had it not been China, it would have been its other neighbours. I am not for aggression, but looking at the present Chinese governance compared to other possible invaders, in my view, better China than any other. The area referred to as Tibet is vast, one could not draw a map of it, thanks to Genghiz Khan and Kublai Khan.

The Buddhists understand that nothing is permanent. More so for China, the mightiest dynasties did not last more than 600 years. However, for the Tibetans, spread so far and wide from Yunnan, Szechuan, Xinjiang, Qinghai, Xian and Tibet as has been called, it is not fathomable which part of Tibet needs to be independent without a thought of moving its people humanely on a scale one cannot imagine. Is it possible for the China government to consider it at all? I think not. We can only hope for benevolence from the China government for now.

Except for Xian and Tibet, I have met Tibetans from the other Provinces. Life is no bed of roses for anyone. Life is hard and weather is harsh but it goes on. I am no historian, but I believe in good governance for the good of its people. Suddenly and quite fortunately, it appears that President Xi has shown a report card that is worth waiting for. I am also not for independence for now. Therefore the Chinese Flag has to fly.

While taking a view on the issue above, I have to concentrate in making a positive contribution to my community in our not so ideal Malaysia.

May I wish to Rinpoche good health and long life and for DS to be reconciled with the Dalai Lama.

  22. Umaylam on Oct 12, 2017 at 3:28 pm

I don’t understand why after so many, many, many years of His Holiness Dalai Lama saying very clearly that His Holiness is for Umaylam or the Middle Way Approach which is about autonomy not independence, the Tibetans in exile are still hoisting the Tibetan snow lion flag which is actually a flag from the time the 13th Dalai Lama declared independence from China in 1916. At that time, the new snow lion flag was adopted by the 13th Dalai Lama and all ARMY regiments were ordered to carry the flag and it was displayed on public buildings of the Ganden Phodrang government.

By hoisting the snow lion flag, the Tibetans in exile in general and the CTA in particular are showing disobedience to His Holiness. Not only that, how can you point your middle finger at China while at the same time talk about autonomy? I hope Tibetans will show obedience to His Holiness and stop hoisting the snow lion flag and extend an olive branch and show that they really want peace and autonomy.

  23. Irene Lim on Oct 12, 2017 at 11:13 am

It is obvious Tibetans should hoist and fly the Chinese flag within their CTA offices in Dharamsala and all Tibetans should use Chinese flag to indicate they are serious about wanting autonomy. But would they do this is another matter. I believe the majority would say you are a traitor by hoisting the Chinese flag. I would not think is doable this life time. I pray the Tibetans will see the light soon and be friends with the Chinese.

  24. Anne Ong on Oct 11, 2017 at 11:31 pm

Why not use a chinese flag and be autonomous state of China (the Middle Way), if this is what His Holiness the Dalai Lama wants. As long it will bring peace and unite the Tibetans and most of all DS practitioners to have religious freedom to practice. Thank you very much Rinpoche for this post and latest memes . Hopefully His Holiness the Dalai Lama would quickly make a decision to lift the ban soon! 🙏😍

Those who are against the Dorje Shugden practice always say they are following the Dalai Lama’s instruction. You would think will also follow the other teachings of the Dalai Lama as well, such as to be compassionate and respectful. But some of these people always go to Tsem Rinpoche’s Facebook and leave negative comments using vulgar and abusive words. Are they really the Dalai Lama’s followers or are they paid to cyber bully a targeted group?

At the heart of a Dharma Protector’s kangso, or fulfilment ritual, is the recitation of the kawang liturgy, otherwise known as kangshag. It is a special confessional prayer to help us to clear our obstacles and purify our negative karma. When our obstacles are remove, we will have a more conducive condition to practice Dharma.

Zaya Pandita Luvsanperenlei was born in 1642 in Mongolia, he was the reincarnation of one of the Buddha Shakyamuni’s disciples. He was also a key disciple of Tulku Drakpa Gyaltsen, biographer and preserver of Tulku Drakpa Gyaltsen’s teachings and lineage.
He was a very gifted child since young and was recognised as a reincarnation at the age of 3.

Zaya Pandita wrote six important books (non medical) and had his own large library with works in Mongol, Tibetan, Sanskrit, Manchurian and Chinese. He translated many texts into the Mongolian language.

In his homeland, he also founded a monastery and four colleges. He also founded the first Medical College of Mongolia and was himself a major doctor. His work had a great influence on Mongolian medicine.

Very powerful teachings of the 35 Confessional Buddhas Practice which is truly amazing to purify our defilements and negative karma. We need to practice this 35 Confessional Buddhas Practice so as we’re not creating much heavy karma for ourselves. The power of purification is so incredible. Good explanation of purification of karma for us to understand. We are so forfunate given a chance to purify our Karma in Kechara Forest Retreat doing reciting Mantras, circumambulation, and prostrations .
Thank You, Rinpoche for sharing with us the importance of these practice and the details explanation of purification of karma .

Duldzin Drakpa Gyaltsen is perhaps one of the more notable previous lives of Dorje Shugden. In this incarnation, he is said to have made the promise to arise as a Dharma Protector to protect the precious teachings of his teacher Lama Tsongkhapa, thus laying the foundation for Dorje Shugden to manifest later, in another incarnation.

Duldzin, which is an abbreviation of Dulwa Zinpa, literally means “Vinaya Holder” in Tibetan. This is actually a title bestowed upon him in recognition of his pure monkhood and incredible knowledge and understanding of the Vinaya texts — scriptures that contain teachings by Lord Buddha on monastic discipline.

He is also the disciple of Lama Tsongkhapa that built Ganden monastery. He is supposed to be the Gaden Tripa after Lama Tsongkhapa passed away. However, he politely refused to ascend to the throne because he wanted to go and do deeper spiritual practices. Later, he fulfilled his promised and rose as Dorje Shugden to protect his Guru’s precious teachings.

Dorje Shugden ban has been around for 20 years now and it had created a lot of suffering and destroyed many practitioner’s spiritual paths. The ban forces everybody who has been giving Dorje Shugden practice by their Guru to choose between their Guru and His Holiness the Dalai Lama. It is a very cruel situation that the ban puts everyone in.

When one chooses to abandon the practice, it is equal to them abandoning their guru who gave them the practice. When they break their guru samaya, their spiritual path is finished. There are no attainments or whatsoever that will come to them no matter what practice they do. It will not work without the blessings of the guru.

If they choose to hold the practice to their heart, they will face the wrath of Dalai Lama’s supports and to be called traitor or Chinese dog. They will be discriminated and segregated in their own community which make their life so much harder just because they choose to honour their guru samaya.

Dorje Shugden manifests in a Deva form (a form in the 6 realms) so he can give us very swift assistance. He is a ‘young’ protector as he arose only 300 years ago. He is very effective in dealing with problems we have in this era, he helps us to remove our obstacles so we can practice the Dharma. We can chant his mantra: OM BENZA WIKI BITANA SOHA for at least 21 times a day or more to connect with him. But it will be better if we can do his practice daily.

If you are new to Tibetan Buddhism and not sure what practice to do, you should start with Tsongkhapa practice. Tsongkhapa is an emanation of Manjushri, Chenrezig, and Vajrapani. When we recite Tsongkhapa’s mantra we are invoking the energy of wisdom, compassion and skillful mean. Our mind will be more stable, calm and clear.

Learn more about Tsongkhapa’s practice from here:

Interesting article…. I have heard of hippes many years ago but not much information and details known. Long forgotten till after reading this article I am aware as such it still exist nowadays. To me they were just travellers having long hairs and staying in tents, exploring themselves the world around them. They gave up their comfortable lifestyle to live in poverty. At least now I begin to understand about them.
Its origins may be traced to European social movements in the 19th and early 20th century. They were a group of people who rebelled against the traditional American lifestyle, craving peace and happiness. They were often vegetarian and eco-friendly people. Up to these days the hippie unique culture is still alive, especially in the United States . So there are still 17 best US cities where the hippes can be found. Interesting to know each of the hippies cities got to offer, their culture and lifestyle .
Thank you Rinpoche for this sharing.

Thank you Rinpoche and Li Kheng for this wonderful post for readers to have a good insight understanding of the Tibetan leadership’s prohibition of Dorje Shugden’s practice. Well researched article with supporting evidence, to reveal the suffering and harm on those practitioners.
Dorje Shugden is the emanation of Manjushri, the Buddha of Wisdom and arose about 400 years ago to protect the teachings as taught by Lama Tsongkhapa. Many highly attained Lamas has been practicing many hundred years before the ban and they cannot be wrong . The Tibetan leadership has been exploiting their own people all these years since the ban. Many families are torn apart , Shugden people had to break away from their monasteries, denied medical services ,schools were some of the examples of the sufferings. There are more than enough evidence showing that there is no religious freedom or true democracy within Tibetan society. Interesting read.
Interesting read……. Thanks again with folded hands. May the ban on Dorje Shugden be lifted soon.

The Unknown

The Known and unknown are both feared,
Known is being comfortable and stagnant,
The unknown may be growth and opportunities,
One shall never know if one fears the unknown more than the known.
Who says the unknown would be worse than the known?
But then again, the unknown is sometimes worse than the known. In the end nothing is known unless we endeavour,
So go pursue all the way with the unknown,
because all unknown with familiarity becomes the known.

His Holiness Sharpa Choje Rinpoche Jetsun Lobsang Nyima of Gaden Shartse Monastery. He was a supreme master of both Sutra and Tantra. He served as abbot of both Gaden Shartse Monastery as well as Gyuto Tantric college. After serving as abbot of Gyuto Tantric college he entered into a few long term (3 year, 3 month and 3 day) Vajra Yogini retreats in the forest. He completed that long retreat twice and was going to enter it again till he was asked to be abbot of Gaden Shartse Monastery by H.H. the Dalai Lama. He was a great practitioner of Vajra Yogini\'s tantra as well as Dorje Shugden. He was a scholar of the highest renown and he was highly sought after for teachings. He was very devoted to Dorje Shugden throughout his whole life as a pure monk. I was fortunate enough to have him as one of my teachers. Humbly, Tsem Rinpoche

He was a great practitioner of Vajra Yogini's tantra as well as Dorje Shugden. He was a scholar of the highest renown and he was highly sought after for teachings. He was very devoted to Dorje Shugden throughout his whole life as a pure monk. I was fortunate enough to have him as one of my teachers. Humbly, Tsem Rinpoche To read more- https://bit.ly/2zW2Grz

My Nepalese boys work hard and I appreciate them. Today we have purchased special foods for them to snack on and also to cook with so they won\'t be so homesick. These foods are all imported from their country. There\'s a street in downtown K.L. that sell all this. So happy to get this for them. Tsem Rinpoche

  • If there were more schools like this, then our kids would grow up with more caring awareness and kind emotions towards our environment and the people around them. 1 years ago
What the meat industry figured out is that you don't need healthy animals to make a profit.
Sick animals are more profitable... farms calculate how close to death they can keep animals without killing them. That's the business model. How quickly they can be made to grow, how tightly they can be packed, how much or how little can they eat, how sick they can get without dying... We live in a world in which it's conventional to treat an animal like a block of wood. ~ Jonathan Safran Foer

Well done and thank you to all the talented students and your hard work performance on KSDS Graduation Ceremony 2018. By Asyley Chia KSDS
