Levi does the cooking in Ladrang. She is quiet, hardworking, sincere and very straightforward. She never complains and cooks up Philipino, Malaysian, Tibetan and Chinese dishes. Levi is ever ready to cook up whenever is necessary. We are lucky to have her on our team.

Here is Levi, Rajendra, William and KB playing some pool together. We went grocery shopping that day and were walking around in the late afternoon and when I saw this pool table, I thought it is perfect for them… hehe. To let them have a break and some fun.
Rajendra is a good guy, works hard and I am so happy to have him on our team in the Ladrang. He is a very flexible person and picks things up fast…
KB has been with me many years. He is reliable, simple, straightforward and very tolerant. I really like him very much. He takes wonderful care of very important things for me leaving me free to do alot of work. I appreciate Kb from the bottom of my heart. Here he is enjoying some pool with our team.
William is new. As far as I can see he is pretty easy going and hardworking. I am happy to be able to do work with him. He is always free to help, never has a sour face and does what he can. Thank you guys!!

Dear Rinpoche, KB is pretty good at pool and looks like he is winning. I have seen Levi at Rinpoche’s Ladrang before, she has been cooking non-stop. Rajendra and KB are really entertaining guys and they love the Mumus very much. And William, he is a great guy that loves Dharma.
All of them are the wonderful people behind the scene. They work extremely hard with no complaint. I can feel they are very sincere person. As what Rinpoche said, they are simple and they don’t want much. Happy that they assist Rinpoche a lot. And Rinpoche really take care them well. Make sure they get rest and entertainment. This is the way we should treat each other. Simple, harmony and kindness. 🙂

I love having KB, William, Levi and Rajendra as part of the Ladrang team. They are absolutely fabulous to work with, no complains, simple and gets things done.
Levi only learned up how to cook whilst being in the Ladrang, and now she cooks up a storm in the kitchen! She makes Tibetan bread from scratch, Dahl, risotto and a whole load of other lovely dishes! You’d think that she’s been cooking for years!
Btw, KB, nice shot into the pocket. hehe.
Thank you everyone on this team helping at Ladrang. You are just as important as anyone else in Kechara and rejoice that you are great help to our Lama.
Rinpoche has always given special care to all the foreign friends working in the organization. Rinpoche’s said they left their country to be here alone, in a new environment, new culture, language, unfamiliar faces, food, away from all that they are familiar and comfortable with. Students must take care of each other else what kinda dharma are we practicing and what qualities are we developing.
With that said, Levi, KB, Ram, and William are selfless, very hard working, friendly, fast learners. Get to know them if you haven’t.. you will certainly gain a friend in them.

Levi, Rajendra和KB皆来自外国，他们离乡背井来到这里已经不简单了。当“外劳”并不是一件很好玩的事，除了思念自己的家园，他们面临的问题很多，但为了赚取生活费，他们都必须比别人加倍地努力。
自己曾经也到外国当过外劳，所以非常了解他们的感受。
很庆幸的是他们能够为仁波切服务。每一天都有很多功德啊！！愿他们能健康快乐！
谢谢这一群在heaven默默付出的英雄，把仁波切的日常生活照顾的无微不至，好让仁波切能够全心全意的从事佛法的事业，可以让更多的人可以接受到佛法的加持。所以说这些人虽然没有在佛法工作的最前线工作，可是只要他们的动机是正确的，他们也可以累积福报，在来世也可以有好的转世，继续的从事佛法事业，直到获得证悟为止。

And who said that everything must be dull and proper to practice Dharma? Dharma can be practiced everyday anytime not just at the altar. I am happy that they had a good time while they were out. Rinpoche always give us gifts and care no matter what and where. Its nice to know they are enjoying their ‘work’ with Rinpoche.

All work and no play makes jack a dull boy best describes the spirit of Levi and our boys. It is good to know that they had a nice chill out time.
Heard of this proverb; the family that prays together stays together. I am gona change this a bit; the family that plays together stays together.
They are all so fortunate to have a dharma family away from home, all made possible through Rinpoche’s care and compassion.
Rinpoche always shows cares towards people around him, those he have and have not met.
He always seizes any opportunities he comes across to educate us, feed our minds, our stomach and make us happy.
How fortunate we are to have a lama who cares for us so much and yet leave little much for himself.
Dear Levi, Rajendra, William and Kb, thanks for u all hard work that serve and help Rinpoche in Ladrang. U all are awesome and u all deserve to take a break and have some fun. If Rinpoche can join in the pool game then will me more fun… hehehe…

It was a good day out. Rinpoche is ever caring to the people who work with him. The Nepali boys and Levi really enjoyed playing pool. This is the first time they played pool and had so much fun! After that, we went for dinner at a Thai restaurant. The boys are very hardworking in keeping the Ladrang clean and tidy. They love the mumus very much and sleep with them.
Rinpoche has told us many times to be nice to people who leave their country and work in a foreign country… If we put ourselves into their shoes, leaving the country, someone we love, and things and cultures that we are familiar with, wouldn’t that be difficult? And when they come here with all the emotional difficulties, we should not burden them further, and we can do that by treating them good.
I felt the main reason why Rinpoche asked us to be nice to them, is not so much about them, but it is more for me to develop the compassion…
Lew, you got that so right. Ever since I met Rinpoche more than 5 years ago, I always hear Rinpoche advising us to be kind to our foreign staff, for the exact reasons you mentioned and more. Rinpoche especially appreciates Levi, Kb, Ram and Rajendra because they are very kind and sweet boys, who work very hard and never complain.
All four speak English well, and those who didn’t when they first arrived put in a lot of effort to learn so they could serve rinpoche better. KB is one of the few people who Rinpoche trusts to take care of his doggies Mumu, Oser and Dharma, because KB is very kind, caring and meticulous, and loves the dogs.
Ram and Rajendra work so very hard all day, making offerings, keeping the house and garden well maintained, and so many more tasks that make it impossible to list everything out here. And Levi – she cooks up a storm daily, for Rinpoche and the rest of the Ladrang team.
As Rinpoche says, although they are foreign, they are people just like the rest of us, and we must always treat them well and take care of them because they are far away from their family and they have no one else around them. Rinpoche lives and breathes his advice to us, and always ensures they are well looked after. From buying gifts, to buying DVDs in their mother tongue, from sending them for English class, to teaching them how to drive and use the computer, from ensuring they have comfortable well equipped rooms to giving them money and presents to bring home to their families, to taking care of their health as well as the health of their families, the list of what Rinpoche does for them is limitless.
Guess everyone should take a good hard look at how we treat our maids and our workers – how much care do we really give them, and what can we do better? Thank you Rinpoche, for teaching by example…
Having good people in the same team has lots of advantages. It can make things smoothly. They can work more efficiently. No need to worry any politics. They can attack any difficulties together instead of handling it all by one member. Levi, Rajendra and KB are wonderful people. No where else they could find someone like Rinpoche that could care so much and so kind to them.
How fun ! Glad to see that Levi and the guys are having fun! They work very hard and always have a friendly and sweet smile for everyone ! Hope Levi won the game ! Thatta girl ! Go girl ! Show the guys some girl power ! 🙂
To Kb and Rajendra, I have not met before, but thank you for serving and taking care of our dearest Guru, with care and devotion. Hope to meet you one day. To Levi too, thank you for your effortlessly hardwork to cook for Rinpoche, for his health and well beings. Rinpoche is so kind and thoughtful to get this pool table for them to enjoy. Wish to play pool with KB, Levi, Rejendra and William too. I do not know how to play, but can teach me after you learn.

Levi is the cook, she prepares Rinpoche’s meals. Even though she is a Catholic but she shows a lot of respect to Rinpoche. Not only that, whenever we are there, she will make sure we have food to eat.
KB, Rajendra and Ram are from Nepal. They make sure mumu, Osers and Dharma are happy and well. They keep Rinpoche’s resident neat and clean. They are very humble, always smile, very sincere and hardworking.

Wow… Pool… It looked like they were having fun. I never knew William could teach pool? I totally agree that these lovely people are a good group. Levi can really cook up a storm. Whenever we have meetings at Ladrang we never fear that there is no food. Recently, William has also been working in the kitchen and he is also amazing and very very caring. KB is forever commendable. Rajendra is also helpful, hardworking and quiet. Common virtue they all share is Not Complaining.
Glad to see Levi, Rajendra, William and Kb having so much fun. Thank you for being around to take care of Rinpoche. Rejoice _/\_

English is not KB and Rajendra’s first language but they took effort to learn it to be able to communicate to do the work. Levi is good in matters of the kitchen especially cooking. William is the new kid in the block but the team makes up for all the work in Ladrang, including others not mentioned here. We are thankful for the team to make Rinpoche’s work easier so he can do more for others.
Ladrang is the private office of the Guru and serving the needs of the lama means serving all others in the organization.
The ladrang team are great people. They take good care of Rinpoche — food, the place, pets, fishes, everything in Ladrang so that Rinpoche has a good environment to stay. When we are there, they also serve us very well.
Levi is a great cook and has green fingers and takes care of a small organic garden in Ladrang too. She always smiling and busy cooking when i meet her in Ladrang.
KB & Rajendra are sincere, serving Rinpoche very well and taking care of all the things in Ladrang. They are hardworking & never complains. Always improve themselves eg to learn English, driving so that they can serve Rinpoche better.
William is a great friend of mine and I am glad that he is part of the Ladrang team too. He is helpful, friendly and loving and have a very good heart.
