I found a place for Kechara Village!

Oct 12, 2012 | Views: 1,433

Dear friends,

We have extra five acres here at Kechara Forest Retreat and it’s almost unused. So I have decided to build Kechara Village on this land. It’s just more viable and practical for many reasons. Also it’s on our own land and I will bring the energy to this land by staying here on Kechara Village while the rest is being constructed. We don’t have to do extra fundraising as it’s on our own land! And we can begin immediately.

Liaison Jp will be in charge of Kechara Village building. We’ll clear the land and start getting the container houses on the land..if everything works fast towards the completion of Kechara Village, then I can’t go to America as I have to be around to oversee/ approve of plans/details. I wanted to go to America last week, but had to delay again because I found a new place here on KFR land which previously I did not notice to build Kechara Village. Kechara Village will be faster so I have to be around to oversee its building.

Kechara Village is very important to me because it will be a place I invite our hardworking & wonderful Kecharians to visit & stay with me to relax/recharge. I am very focused to get KV up. So we will build Kechara Village within the Kechara Forest Retreat.*

I love my Kecharians very much and respect them all so much. I want a place for them to recharge and relax so much as they all work so hard. I want Kechara Village up for my Kecharians, volunteers and special friends. Everytime I try to go USA, something comes up to stop me…it’s strange.

Tsem Rinpoche

P.S. The picture is of me pointing from the top of the mountain on our Kechara Forest Retreat land (KFR) to the beautiful views we will have once the place is built. I like this land so much. It is 1 hour from Kuala Lumpur our capital.

We took this picture today… It was a 10 mins climb up a steep mountain and yet the view is so nice. We can climb, because a path has been cleared as well as the top of this mountain.

Strange Pictures captured on Kechara Forest Retreat Land:

Rajendra, Kb, Moh Mei and Paris up on the land with me…

Kb has found peace among the trees?? hehe

Pastor Loh Seng Piow in a comical moment?? A star is born!! What a actor!!

Can anyone help Pastor Loh Seng Piow…he is having a extrovert moment!

Here’s Rajendra just ‘hanging’ around our beautiful Kechara Forest Retreat land…

There’s something about KFR, it really brings happiness in people and they express it openly.

I think this is a sweet memory for those who have worked hard in building KFR.

Most of the Kecharians have taken KFR as their spiritual home now. Although I am not living here but I’ve taken KFR as my spiritual home too. A place that I’m longing to stay…

Many years later in future, we will look back at these images with a smile on our face and a very very contented heart.

I remembered the conversation we had with Rinpoche after seeing a property in Janda Baik and the previous plot of land near the area that were potential for Kechara Village. We were thinking, voting and discussing pros and cons on which is better. Then about a week later, this manifested it’s opportunity… wow! All I can say is Setrap must have heard us discussing and well, showed us this land..duh! But yay!

We’re all very very happy with the news and we now today, construction has begin. Every day a few of us Ladrang team and Liaisons would go up to see, plant grass, prepare our organic farming, have meetings and basically bring the energy up there and bit by bit putting the puzzles together. Yes it is all pretty hard work but when ur up there, u get connected back with mother nature. The feeling is price less and words cannot describe it, you need to be there to feel it yourself!

Thank you Rinpoche for allowing us this chance of a lifetime opportunity to lead a meaningful life.

I am here now at KFR and it has changed so much since the last time i was here! Heheh i love it here and i cant’ wait for KFR to finish because when it is done, it will benefit so many sentient beings!

    THank you Rinpoche!

Dear Rinpoche, after working few times on the land, I really agree with what You said “There’s something about KFR, it really brings happiness in people and they express it openly”. Even though it is tired to work there because we are not used to work like this, but we love to work on the land so much. I feel glad and lucky to be part of the project, I’m happy to see our works grow there.

Kechara Village will create a very good cause for KFR to manifest, and when we all staying and working there, we will attract more and more people to come and stay, work and have some fun! Just like what Rinpoche is doing now, Rinpoche is staying in a cabin on the land, and all of us take turn to go and work there with the Ladrang team. We will work KFR and Kechara Village out with Rinpoche for sure!

Thank you Rinpoche for providing us this golden opportunity to be part of this great project!

Everyday there’s progress going on at the Kechara Village and concurrently Kechara Forest Retreat too. So much different now. All help and contributions are needed so much to help to get this wonderful project up for the benefits of many. Rinpoche has been tirelessly into the nights every day to see to the progress of it. Thank you Rinpoche. Love to be there to help and sweat it out with the all the volunteers and staff there.

Many funny pictures of SP and KB. Building Kechara Village within KFR allow all the forces, and the energy to concentrate in one area. It is also very practical when one visit KFR one can visit Kechara Village as well. The land is big it will take a some time before KFR is fully built. Kechara Village will attract the people to participate in building a very spiritual home for all us 🙂

  16. Thierry on Oct 26, 2012 at 12:12 pm

It makes a lot of sense to have a place on KFR for people to stay, the logistic will be simplified and thus the efficiency too. This will also help for people to bound together even more. What a good idea!

  17. Pastor Yek Yee on Oct 24, 2012 at 2:56 am

Kechara Village or KV, is Rinpoche ideal Shangri la paradise. Yes, KV, to me which is a wonderful place or called it paradise is most suitable which direct us to pureland. I believed that Rinpoche will use this place as a start point prepares us go to Vajrayogini paradise. It is really make me looking for it day and night.

Since Rinpoche is a kid, Rinpoche already started thinking that Rinpoche can stay in a place which can see mountains, rivers, and a lot of green in surrounding. The KV is what Rinpoche exactly want, look like Rinpoche’s dream land. That is the reason why Rinpoche so excited about this land and want to build up Kechara Village in very short period. If I not mistake, that Rinpoche really want the KV will come out within five months. We all know Rinpoche style everything need fast and perfect. What Rinpoche concerns is how to benefit peoples in very short time.

I went to Kechara Village few times, Rinpoche himself start everything from zero. Now we have few permanent and temporary roads, we can see where ladrang is, where chapel is and even we can visualized our future prayer hall can fix around 2000 to 3000 peoples and a huge cars park and so forth.

Rinpoche always come out many new, different, unique ideas just in one or two second. Even though the idea which just come out from Rinpoche is very new… however when Rinpoche shared with all of us always very profound and wise. Seem like Rinpoche already thought about for long time. Whatever ideas Rinpoche came out, it is very detail, mature and practical. Every time, when Rinpoche shared with us his new ideas like KV, it is already conceptualize and plan well.

I really look forward Kechara Village manifested in this few months, because it is our Shangri la. A ideal paradise for group of people who still suffering in worldly world and some even indulge into it. Shangri la is a place for people who like to live in a peace and calm environment.

May KV manifested smoothly as soon as possible, may KV can benefit more and more people who are still suffering.

Indeed, this is the Happy Land, everyone is so happy and excited while staying on this land.

In future, this will be Kechara Forest Retreat(KFR) for the public to come to re-charge themselves, to do prayers and within it, we have Kechara Village(KV) for the Kecharian to stay and work, it is so practical and so convenient for everyone and everything to operate properly.

For building this Kechara Village, Rinpoche has been going there almost everyday to oversee the progress, Rinpoche not just sit there and wait for it to be built, he does go there on site to see the progress, standing under the shiny hot sun whole day and make sure everything and everyone is okay. Not only Rinpoche concern about the construction, Rinpoche also concern about the workers, he always make sure they have enough to eat, they are safe and sound.

Even for this KFR or KV, it has never be for himself, he does all these for us, he build all these for us, and well, that’s Rinpoche, he does nothing for himself but all for others, only for the benefit of others.

A lovely place for spiritual practice, calm, restful, natural and so beautifully illustrated out to Cynthia from your enlightened mind’s eye. We truly rejoice greatly that you have found a place in Kejara Village to be used as a private residence for invited guests and visitors to stay and pray, away from the rustling and buzzling city traffic and noises, filled with dusty and corrupted air. Its like a home within a home of spirituality at Kechara Forest Retreat, how marvellously wonderfull and auspicious!

  22. Paris on Oct 19, 2012 at 12:12 pm

I’m reading this post and typing this while I’m right here on KFR land right now with Rinpoche and a few Ladrang staff. And it’s true about the boys hanging off the trees and the tractors – KFR does bring out something freeeeeee and happy in people here. It’s exciting to see how everything is being done, with a first-hand view here – from the flattening of the grounds, to building roads, to draining out the water… and hopefully to the actual building up of the lands.

I think there’s something amazing too that Rinpoche is building this for his students and the people who work in Kechara. How different this it to any other enterprise / organisation /company who build for the sole reason of commercial / financial expansion and gain. It’s very, very very seldom that an organisation would expand for the sake of others’ happiness, and where the real net profit is in how many people we can bring some relief and benefit to.

Thank you rinpoche sharing with us this wonderful news about Kechara Village. Rinpoche also have the very thoughtful plan encourage students work hard toward our spiritual practice.

I am rejoice and seeing all the daily update the progress of building Kechara Village and the most important thing is rinpoche dream come through to living near forest surrounding at the green environment. i hope very soon KFR land building completed. We will all come up here to rest and do meditation.

Thank you Rinpoche for staying in Malaysia with all of us. I am very happy that Rinpoche has found a place in the forest to stay in! This is what Rinpoche wants for so many many years. And Kechara Village is for all of us, thank you Rinpoche for always taking care of us and plan things for us.

BTW, Kechara Forest Retreat and Kechara Village on the same land, all in ONE. How nice for Kecharians especially. Hehehe! 😀

  25. Angelshooi on Oct 17, 2012 at 10:36 pm

Very good news to know that Rinpoche will not leave to US and will oversee the project of Kechara Village.

Another good news….Rinpoche found Kechara Village on top of KFR!
And it’s a beautiful view which can see greens and mountain right in front of the land.

When Rinpoche lives in KV, will stabilize the land of KFR and brings good energy there and the area of Bentong! KFR will have smooth development and then KWPC soon!!!

From the word village, the image of a small chinese town in the TVB series pops up in my mind. Rows of traditional looking shops made out of bricks and wood. The street contains restaurants (in this case a veg restaurant) which at the back or on top of the restaurant is the rooms to stay overnight. A few other shops selling misc items. The street is also filled with small small stalls selling items like a flea market. The roads are paved with huge flat stones instead of tarmac. At night, the street is being lighted up with laterns for a cozy feeling. I dont know how our Kechara Village will end up looking but i am sure i am going to enjoy it very much also.

Thank you Rinpoche for being so thoughtful all the time. Everything Rinpoche do is for the benefits of others. Living in a city, we need a place to go to unwind ourselves, to be connected to the nature again and to find ourselves. When Kechara Village is up, this place will address all our modern people’s needs.

To repay Rinpoche’s kindness, I have to work harder with consistency, to transform my mind, to cultivate good qualities in me. May I be able to do so.

So much greenery. Being stuck in concrete pigeon holes all week at work is numbing. Will there be a campsite in the village so that people may have a safe place to camp overnite. Sleep under the stars, have barbecue at nite ( vegetarian of course ) , talk about dharma over a campfire, accompanied by the sound of nature. I feel relaxed already. It’ll be a big bonus to have the blessings of Rinpoche living nearby. The only lama in the village. ( hehe ).

It is wonderful news that KV is inside KFR. Then everything is centralised in one area. While KV is up, the people there can see the progress of KFR! And the land behind is untouched and secluded from the construction site. It would be a good place for Rinpoche to live and be in the jungle and have the view of the mountains.

Yes, I can see that the fresh air out of the city has changed some of the people there, especially our dear Seng Piow who now appears to be alive being with nature and near machines!!! Hehe… and our Nepali boys have become friends with the trees, literally hanging out with the trees.

It is such good news to know that Rinpoche will not be leaving for US but to stay back to supervise the building of Kechara Village. Finally Kechara Village will be up soon so that Rinpoche can move there to stay amongst the lush green mountains and to oversee to the development of Kechara Forest Retreat. Kechara Village will be such a beautiful place to start with which will eventually lead to Kechara Forest Retreat and Kechara World Peace Center…. a dream comes true for Rinpoche and all Kecharian.

  44. Sarah Yap on Oct 14, 2012 at 4:54 pm

I’m really glad that Rinpoche and everyone who went over to KFR to stay for a few days, look so happy there. I hope everyone managed to detox their body while they are away in KFR, which is after all going to be a holistic place on top of a spiritual place in the near future.

I hope that KV will be up in these 5 acres quickly so that Rinpoche can live in the mountains just like how Rinpoche wanted all these while for us, to a conducive environment so that everyone can receive the Dharma and do many practices such as meditation, that requires such tranquil environment.

For what have been said in the ‘King of Prayers’, may it all come true quickly.

  45. Su Ming on Oct 14, 2012 at 4:27 pm

    Dera all,

As the forest gets cleared by the machineries, we are able to see more the potential of the KFR land. We have discovered so many strategic location for the Ladrang & also Kechara Village. It was very interesting. Since Rinpoche moved to KFR 3 days ago, we have been receiving so many auspicious signs.

All of us need to put all our effort together to ensure Rinpoche moves to KFR as soon as possible. With this offering, many of our dharma aspirations and wishes will be fulfilled. After all, it is written in the tantra that the highest offering anyone can make to one’s lama is the highest of all.

    Dear Rinpoche,

Thank you for sharing this news and the wonderful pictures. Everyone who has visited KFR has always come back with an extra big smile and i think that is the beauty of KFR… that we will find some little peace and happiness there. Kechara Village will be the precursor to the actual Kechara Forest Retreat. Rinpoche’s blessings at KFR land and the hard work of ladrang staff, volunteers and the sponsors will herald amazing things to come.. i can’t wait.

In the meantime, the comms team is working on collaterals to promote awareness and fundraising programmes for KFR which will be ready very soon.

Thank you for Rinpoche’s blessings for KFR and KV,
    sharon

It is amazing ,but all made manifest because of Rinpoche’s infinite compassion and skillful means. I am absolutely thrilled that Rinpoche has located the site for Kechara Village. So a nucleus, Kechara Village(within Kechara Forest Retreat), has been conceived, by Rinpoche, to jump-start all efforts to ultimately realize Kechara World Peace Center. The news that brings me happiness beyond words is that Rinpoche will now stay to oversee the construction of Kechara Village. May we be always mindful that the efforts of each and everyone of us Kecharians matter to ensure the smooth and successful fruition of Rinpoche’s vision of peace, beginning with Kechara village.

Thank you, Rinpoche, from the bottom of my heart.

Rinpoche, I am really happy beyond words that Rinpoche find it compelling to remain in Malaysia. Rinpoche have so skillfully taught, motivate and coerce us Kecharians, who are so immersed in our own delusional issues to be able to gather our strength individually and as a team to do Dharma for others and to accumulate merits and wisdom for none other than our own benefit ultimately. All of Rinpoche’s work are for us and the future.
May all of Rinpoche’s wishes comes true and may the Dharma flourish in the region.

    With folded hands!

Thank you, Rinpoche for bringing the energy to this land by staying here on Kechara Village.

This is really a great news! Kechara Village in KFR. Today my friend asked me a question, ‘where can I go in Malaysia for vacation? Not too expensive but yet able to relax. ‘ Immediately, I thought about KFR. With KFR, many people will have a place to relax. A total peaceful moment to be with ourself away from the noisy of the city.
We are fortunate to have Tsem Rinpoche to guide us in building up place like KFR.

    • tsemtulku on Oct 13, 2012 at 6:21 am

Dear Freon, I certainly wish to build KFR but I need your help and the help of everyone. Must contribute your efforts towards this holy and beneficial project.

On this land I wish to place a large 8 ft stone statue of Kyabje Pabongka Rinpoche. This would bless so many beings and create lots of merits as He is Heruka.

Due to the Dorje Shugden controversy many practitioners are still oppressed due to their choice of religion. Yet there are complaisant, and obliging people too who barely understand the situation, poorly informed of the issue and behave in a way they knew what’s going on regarding the ban on Dorje Shugden. There are many good bits of wisdom and worthy words in this article. Well-intentioned people make mistakes, lots of them. Mistakes must be expected and being held accountable for. Oppression will still exist no matter how compassionate sharing with others. If we are willing to risk making mistakes we can still do something. We must constantly try to find out ways to use our privilege to push forward the voice of the oppressed. Do not allow ourselves to be immobilized by lack of knowledge.

Inspiring read of Scott Neeson a most influential person in the movie industry, walked away from Hollywood to start a charity. Left everything he had built, been famous, wealthy and living a life of luxury for the sake of those children living in the slump in Cambodia. He decided to leave Hollywood behind and moved to Cambodia and founded Cambodian Children’s Fund . It was on a trip to Phnom Penh, Scott saw hundreds of children and their families living and working on the Steung Meanchey garbage dump, one of the most toxic environments. It was a moment that changed his life, helping thousands of vulnerable children and their families escape a world of forced labour, child trafficking and desperate poverty into safety and independence. From being a self-serving person, to an extremely giving person truly inspiring. Scott has been living in Phnom Penh where his journey still captivates, inspires and bewilders people from all over the world.

Vairochana Shugden, pacifying form of Dorje Shugden is revered by many for his ability to purify one’s negative karma, pacify natural disasters and calamities. And is especially efficacious for overcoming illness and disease as well. Shize or Vairochana Shugden is the emanation of Dorje Shugden who embodies the enlightened activity of pacification. Shize’s practice is very effective in helping us to receive prophecies or develop clairvoyance. Shize’s practice is excellent for calming ourselves down and increasing our merits. His practice results in our minds becoming much happier and being alleviated from depressions. Wow we can also rely on Shize’s practice to overcome serious illnesses. It can also be engaged where the area, there are a lot of natural disasters. On the whole its practice has many benefits. When we do the practice correctly, with good motivation, Shize will bless and guide us.
Thank you Rinpoche for this great teachings on Shize who is a direct emanation of Dorje Shugden who is none other than the enlightened Manjushri.

Interesting article. I never thought meditation can help oneself quit smoking without consumption of medication or drugs. According to an article in The Buddhist Review, not smoking is a result of developing calm and reducing clinging through authentic Dharma practice. Mindfulness-based interventions can help people learn to pay attention to and work with negative feelings, cravings, and other symptoms of nicotine withdrawal. By focusing on our breathing the mind becomes calm and single-pointed. Many are aware of the health risks and addictive properties of nicotine that are harmful. Buddhism is very effective to inspire transformation in people. Good read of how a Yale psychiatrist bringing together neuroscience and Buddhist practices to help people overcome their addictions. Thank you Dr. Judson for the great research work.

Trode-khangsar a 400 year old Dorje Shugden Temple in Lhasa, had me having great memories. Having a privileged to visit it in May 2019,with my Dharma brothers and sisters. It such a Holy Temple with great stories behind it . Located in Lhasa, that is over 300 years old which is dedicated to the controversial protector deity Dorje Shugden. The Temple is a Gelugpa monastery of Tibetan Buddhism, built in the 17th century by the Fifth Dalai Lama. The Great 5th Dalai Lama composed a praise to Dorje Shugden and created a statue to honour and recognize him as a Dharma protector as apology. Trode Khangsar itself is now registered as a national heritage memorial. That’s awesome as more and more people will get to know about this Holy temple. Merely by looking at those fading murals and Holy statutes is a blessing for all who came to visit this Trode-khangsar. A place worth visiting.

The concept of rebirth has a long association with Buddhism. Rebirth in Buddhism refers to the teaching that the actions of a sentient being lead to a new existence after death, in an endless cycle called saṃsāra. One will begins a new life in a new body that may be human, animal or spiritual depending on the moral quality of the previous life’s actions. What they are reborn as depends on their actions in their previous life rather kamma. As a Buddhist we should believe in rebirth but still many people don’t . Buddha taught us that choices of rebirth make a difference and can shape many lifetimes. Buddhists believe that nothing that exists is permanent and everything will ultimately cease to be. There is a belief in rebirth

Against the odds two inspiring nuns fought all the way to become ordained, fighting for their rights to practice Buddhism . Interesting read of how they went through , bringing equality for women in Thailand. Buddhism is the predominant religion in Thailand. Officially, only men can become monks and novices in Thailand under a Buddhist order. The country does not recognize female monks or novices. In recent years, more Thai Buddhist women seeking to become full-fledged female monks, have been defying the tradition getting ordained overseas, in Sri Lanka or India. Buddhist women have been fighting for years for equality and social acceptance in Thailand. They just can’t be ordained by Thai monks. Ven. Dhammananda, 68 year old former university lecturer and activist became Thailand’s first Theravadin bhikkhuni after going the odds. Inspiring read biography on Ven. Dhammananda and Ven. Dr. Lee. They had gone through great hardships, discrimination and against the many odds in bringing equality to women in Buddhism in Thailand.

The unseen things are spiritual realities that are eternal and invisible to our physical eye. There are many forces and phenomena that are not visible to the naked eye. There are many things that humans cannot see yet there are some could see. For what is can be seen is only. Things do exist even we can’t see, believing their existence is our choice. Things that we can’t see in the world opens up a curiosity and exploration by some. Whether through scientific inquiry, or spiritual exploration, the pursuit of knowledge about the unseen can lead to profound insights about ourselves and the universe.
Malacca City is the historic capital of the coastal state of Malacca, in Malaysia serving as a link between east and west for over 500 years. Famous for breath-taking sights with rich heritage, ancient dark culture and history with many old centuries buildings with an interesting past and a colourful ghost story. For that reason alone it is worth visiting as is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site owing to its well-preserved historical center. There’s many historical mansions been passed down generation to generations and with many ghostly sighting by the locals and visitors. There’s the reason many unseen beings loitering and attached to these places. Such an interesting and incredibly creepy watching the video in this blog host by Li Kim. Li Kim had done a great work all along with her team to share with readers about our historic Malacca .

Vajrayogini symbolizes the wisdom of all enlightened beings and embodies the impulse of inspiration that drives the Buddhas to attain the perfect enlightenment. Vajrayogini is one of the most effective practices for people today. We can make offerings such as gold or jewel offerings and so on. The offering of gold helps us to collect merits, spiritual attainments, gain a deeper connection to Vajrayogini. It also creates the causes to attain a Buddha’s body.
Make Offerings to Vajrayogini in Kechara Forest Retreat at Bentong is such an meritorious way for us to collect merits. All thanks to our Guru having conceptualised the idea of having a statue of Vajrayogini for everyone . Recitation of Vajrayogini mantra can be a powerful tool for self-transformation, healing and liberation from samsara.

Thank you, Rinpoche for sharing this insightful article. Life is short, and if we enjoy every moment of every day, then we will be happy no matter what happens or what changes along the way. What ever matter to us at the time of death is nothing. In the end, it’s not the years in our life that count it’s what you leave behind that matters. A great soul never dies. It brings us together again and again.Death is the golden key that opens the palace of eternity. A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time. Learning Dharma and practicing dharma is the our choice that’s matter. Some of the key points to take notes, read, study the Lam Rim and apply it, engage in Sadhana daily and consistently. No one will help us at the moment of death but ourselves. Spiritual practicing is the best choice.

Well the size of Buddha statues in Tibetan Buddhism is important because it represents the Buddha’s immense ability and vast knowledge. Hence the Buddha statues hold the symbol of satisfaction within, peace and happiness. They are a symbol of inspiration for every human being. When we focus on the Buddha statues, it gives us inner peace that our mind, our heart and our soul gets enlightened.
We have are so fortunate seeing and circumambulating where the 9-foot Dorje Shugden statue and with 500 mantra stones engraved with Dorje Shugden’s sacred mantra. As Rinpoche had said before the bigger and more Buddha statues helps in planting seeds of enlightenment in people’s mind-streams. It also help us to generate as much merit and purify as much karma as possible. Merely by seeing all those big statues at Kechara Forest Retreat is a blessing.
    Thank you Rinpoche.

The 4th Tagpu Pemavajra Jampel Tenpai Ngodrub, most commonly known as Tagpu Dorje Chang, was a highly accomplished yogi Highly attained lama who had many authentic visions of the Buddhas and even travel astrally to receive direct teachings from them. His recognised line of incarnations stem all the way back to the 14th Century. He is generally regarded as such amongst Gelug lineage holders. He spent most of his time in a hermitage located above Sera Monastery, gave teachings and transmitted many vital practices and lineages to his foremost student Kyabje Pabongka Rinpoche. Besides receiving the complete instructions of Dorje Shugden’s practice, Tagpu Dorje Chang had many other mystical experiences throughout his lifetime. Interesting read biography of a highly accomplished mahasiddha lama.

n Tibetan culture, it is a popular and customary practice for families to invite monks to perform spiritual ceremonies such as Trusol rituals. The monks have had the opportunity to offer such ceremonies for individuals or their families. Such ceremonies purify the elements of the environment which helps those living or visiting there to experience good health, success and well-being. The sacred ritual of ‘bathing’ the Buddhas and consecration through which negativities, sicknesses and obstacles will be cleared. Where by filling those areas with positive energies and good vibes through this Trusol consecration puja. Water is an essential part of this puja and symbolises the cleansing of all negativities and impurities. Through this puja it also pacifies local deities and other unseen beings in the surrounding areas. We are indeed fortunate that Tsem Rinpoche has taught Kecharians this practice and it has benefited many.

The Unknown

The Known and unknown are both feared,
Known is being comfortable and stagnant,
The unknown may be growth and opportunities,
One shall never know if one fears the unknown more than the known.
Who says the unknown would be worse than the known?
But then again, the unknown is sometimes worse than the known. In the end nothing is known unless we endeavour,
So go pursue all the way with the unknown,
because all unknown with familiarity becomes the known.

What the meat industry figured out is that you don't need healthy animals to make a profit.
Sick animals are more profitable... farms calculate how close to death they can keep animals without killing them. That's the business model. How quickly they can be made to grow, how tightly they can be packed, how much or how little can they eat, how sick they can get without dying... We live in a world in which it's conventional to treat an animal like a block of wood. ~ Jonathan Safran Foer
