A Thanks from Bulgaria
My Dearest Martin,
I really trust in the powers of sacred Buddha images. Any Buddhas are sacred. I have been fascinated by images of enlightenment since as far as I can remember when I was six years old already. As I matured I loved the images of Buddhas more and more… I wanted everyone to have one or two. I wanted people to blessed by the images. To have a sacred a image near them to remind them of their own potentials. The tradition of Buddha images came from Lord Shakyamuni Himself during His lifetime. It was started by Himself. So it has a very strong lineage of power and blessings.
When I was growing up in New Jersey getting sacred images was SO DIFFICULT. I use to photocopy whatever images I can get from the library and frame then put on my shrine in my bedroom. I have started a dept here in Malaysia that creates, paints and produces beautiful images of enlightenment for our shrines, wall and to wear. This stems from a life-long passion.
I have been giving dharma books, statues, Buddha pendants, thangkas, drawings for people as gifts for over three decades now. I will continue doing so. I want everyone to be blessed.
I have a hardworking team – Tsem Ladrang Dept (Gifts) and Kechara Care Dept who will get the addresses, email, contact, pack, go to the post office and send the gifts. Without them, I couldn’t do so much of the sending of gifts as I would like. They send hundreds of items from me to people (mostly I have never met) all around the world. The team that does this and works really hard are:
Ms. Su Ming, James, Bryan Ho, Ethan Chu, Nicholas Yu, and sometimes Shin. They really have alot of work to do for their own depts already. I thank them for this so much.
In your video, you mentioned that my blog is changing people’s lives… that is the very reason I wanted to do the blog and spend the time for it. To hear you say it changes people’s lives for the better really is my purpose. I am happy to hear this.
I have a very hardworking blog team that research, do the technical work, film, sometimes help me to write, write, troubleshoot, edit pictures, find information at the spur of the moment. They have many times work into the wee hours of the morning. They don’t complain and put their heart and soul into the blog work. Without my blog team, trust me, my blog would just produce only 20% of what I am producing now… very little. So I really have alot of people in the background who support me in the work and I am grateful to them. Remember this team have their other duties besides being on the blog team. They have devoted their lives to Dharma work.
The Blog team that really give it their all are:
Jean Mei, Pastor Loh Seng Piow, Beng Kooi, Lew Kwan Leng, Joy, Justin Ripley, Sarah Yap, Jean Ai (sometimes)… and we have people who contribute from time to time also.
To all the Tsem Ladrang/Kechara Care Gift Team and Blog Team, Martin’s video of thanks and appreciation is really for all of you!!!
And Martin, we/I really appreciate your sincere message and efforts to post up a video. I can see our gifts, blogs and online presence does enrich your life may I humbly say. I am so happy for that. I am truly happy for that. That is my purpose….
We will continue our work. May you continue also.
Much Care,
Tsem Rinpoche
