The Greatest Escape in History!

Located high in the Himalayas, surrounded by cloudy mountain peaks that rendered it inaccessible for centuries, Tibet is a land of magic and mystery filled with stories of lamas and yogis and their mystical feats. Out of all these stories, few have captured the hearts of people around the world more than the true story of how the charismatic spiritual leader of the Tibetan people, His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama escaped the clutches of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army and secretly travelled to India in 1959.
The Dalai Lamas are revered incarnate beings who have sworn to return life after life to protect Tibet and spread the Buddha’s authentic teachings preserved there. Commanding great spiritual power, the Dalai Lamas have the ears and favours of the enlightened beings to call upon in times of need.
On the eve of China’s takeover of Lhasa in March 1959, the Dalai Lama had taken residence in his summer palace where he was surrounded by tens of thousands of Tibetan people who had encamped themselves to protect their beloved leader from the Chinese army closing in from the outskirts of the city. During that fateful week in March, now known as the Tibetan Uprising, the Dalai Lama sought the counsel of the great Dharma Protector Dorje Shugden.
In 1959, Dorje Shugden gave clear instructions through the 6th Panglung Oracle to ensure the Dalai Lama’s safe and successful escape from Tibet to India.
Because of the step-by-step instructions given by Dorje Shugden through the esteemed Panglung Oracle including the exact escape route and a mystical sword which was to be waved in the air in times of danger, the Dalai Lama was able to slip away unnoticed, escaping undetected through the Chinese army perimeter and over dangerous mountain terrain into India, safe and unharmed.
As recorded in the autobiography of His Holiness Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche, the Junior Tutor to H.H. the 14th Dalai Lama, The Great Escape tells the true story of the Dalai Lama’s epic flight into exile and how Dorje Shugden was behind every pivotal step to bring His Holiness safely out of Tibet for the future of the Tibetan people, culture and religion.
Dorje Shugden’s integral role in the Dalai Lama’s escape is further corroborated by eyewitness affidavits signed by senior officials of Sera Mey Monastery who were part of the Dalai Lama’s travel party. Even the formation of the Tibetan resistance militia — the Chushi Gangdruk — years before was at the behest of Dorje Shugden, undeniable proof that this enlightened Dharma Protector was the force shaping the currents for the Dalai Lama’s great escape.
It is undeniable that the Dalai Lama’s flight from Tibet was a great moment in history, one that has had great impact on the world. This particular story was very precious to H.E. Tsem Rinpoche because it is, in essence, a display of the far-reaching wisdom, great compassion, and mystical, miraculous and noble qualities of the Dharma Protector Dorje Shugden. By delivering the Dalai Lama safely out of Tibet and putting him in the spotlight of the world stage, Dorje Shugden essentially enabled the Tibetan Buddhist tradition and teachings to be preserved in Tibet and shared with all of us. That today Tibetan Buddhism has taken root and is spreading in almost every country of the world, is due to the enlightened deeds of the Dharma Protector Dorje Shugden.

Congratulations ? for Kechara Comic Publication successful produces such a important comic book about the true history of HOW H.H. The Dalai Lama escaped from Tibet to India in 1959. It was instructed by Dorje Shugden to leave Tibet and the same time Dorje Shugden promised to protect H.H. Teh Dalai Lama that he will arrive India safely by following his instructions.
Dorje Shugden manifested miracles over came all the obstacles along the journey so that H.H. The Dalai Lama finally arrived India.
Dorje Shugden had directly saved H.H the Dalai Lama, lamas and their families who managed to follow along at this journey.
I can also say it’s because of Dorje Shugden, Tibetan Buddhism (All schools) spread all over the world and allowing them to connect with their lamas hence benefited countless sentient beings outside Tibet.

Very interesting comics to read! Despite the nice graphics, it brings out the truth of what really happened in the history! Yes, Dorje Shugden helped The Dalai Lama escape from Tibet to India. The truth is passed down with proof. Now, the whole story is converted into comics, it’s easy to read, so that more and more people know the truth behind it.

Dorje Shugden is an emanation of Buddha Manjushri, he only brings benefits to people, he will never hurt anyone. Since he is an enlightened being, we can rely on him fully.
Dorje Shugden helps us to remove our obstacles and make sure we stay on the right track. He provides us a conducive environment to practice Dharma.
