Al Gore writes to Kechara
Dear friends,
Two years ago, my students at Kechara Media & Publications (KMP) sent some beautiful books published by KMP to a few people. One of them was the former Vice-President of the United States of America, Mr Al Gore. KMP is the publications wing of Kechara.
The books sent were Call Me Paris by Jamie Khoo, There’s No Way but UP by David Lai and If Not Now When?. After these books were received, Mr Al Gore very kindly took some time to write a letter of appreciation to KMP!
Recently, KMP mailed my pictorial biography, The Promise to Mr Al Gore. Once again, he wrote a letter to the head of KMP, Ms Phng Li Kim to thank her for the book! I love how efficient, sincere and caring Mr Al Gore is. Also very notably, Mr Al Gore has done a lot for the betterment of our planet. Besides giving talks all over the world on climate crisis, he has come out with many books and DVDs about this issue and how to solve it.
On behalf of all in KMP, Kechara and myself, we sincerely thank Mr Al Gore once again for his caring reply. We wish him well and success in all his works to bring benefits for others!

I have a drug related injury and originally to start my business I was inspired by Al Gore and Geshe Michael Roach’s 250 million dollar diamond business.
There is a lot more to know about medication then people are aware of on the outside.
One Buddhist teacher taught me that in advanced tantric practices we use the chemicals in our brains.
The Dalai Lama even believes, contrary to Western Neuroscience, that the brain does not make the mind it is the opposite, that the mind is responsible for the chemicals in the brain.
That is why it is the exact opposite and many times psychiatry and psychology get a bad wrap because it is backwards thinking.
Supposedly when technology declines spiritual things will reemerge.
There is a concern that the yogis will be wiped out.
This is the basis for much concern.
So basically I have been working on this problem for over a decade now…basically it is still going through the courts.
I recently shared some of my findings through an encrypted email…which basically proves that medication are responsible for the same problems they are suppose to treat.
This is called the two bad choices trick…
do you take this which is bad for you or do you take this which is equally bad for you?
You must have the intelligence to say I don’t want that one and I don’t want the one that is even worse.
The answer is to put aside this idea of controversy and compettetiveness and to get the things you really want in life.
To do this you must follow four simple steps.
1. Decide what you want.
2. Find someone who wants the same thing you do
3. Bring them out to coffee and help them
4. Rejoice
By doing this you are not deciding between two bad choices. You are creating the causes to get what you really want, whether it be peace or love, or money, or happiness, even.
Anyway that is it in a nutshell.
thanks
And this year on June 18 2015 Al Gore is Leading the worlds biggest worldwide concert for Climate Change. He’s doing amazing work…http://liveearth.org….
This is extremely wonderful. Al Gore is my hero because he really cares about the environment. I loved his video called the Inconvenient truth. Has everybody watched that? He is really good when it comes to speech. I do hope that when Al Gore reads the book, he will be inspired and will use his influential capabilities to bring the Dharma to others.
We send books to people all around the world not to boast about how great our Rinpoche is but to inspire people with Rinpoche’s great works. The story of Rinpoche is a living example of how one person can make many positive impacts in many people’s life. It is also another way of spreading Dharma, when KWPC manifest, many will come, to find the peace they are looking for.
All the gifts we send to people are from our kind sponsors, without their support, we will not be able this. How do our sponsors know the fund they sponsored is used appropriately? Look at how Kechara has grown since we started 10 years ago. Kechara is growing, people’s lives has changed for better, I am one of them. I am very inspired by Rinpoche’s works and Rinpoche’s mission, that was why 1.5 years ago I quit my corporate job and joined Kechara as a full time staff.
What an honor to receive an appreciation letter from Al Gore! I always wonder how this people use their time. Small thing like this (according to the number gifts or letters that he received daily) He cares and take initiation to reply and acknowledge people that has a good thing to share with him, just like what Siong Woan said, that’s why he is who he is. I believe there’s a team working tirelessly behind him.
Wow,this shows that even though he was very busy,he took some time to write a letter back. And this proves even though we are very busy or doing something very important,we should take some time to thank others who kindly just gave us stuff or help us even though it is just words, but words means a lot to people
I do thank Al Gore for his video the “Inconvenient Truth” it really brought to many people’s awareness that the Earth is having problems and we have to know and take action to preserve the Earth. I hope perhaps Al Gore can do another video to talk about how buy reducing meat consumption it will help tremendously the environment!
Where there’s ocean, there will be Kechara publication’s books, where there will be lights of Dharma and Rinpoche’s teachings, where there will be messages of happiness and peace…
Keep it up KMP and team! Thank you…
It’s this attention to detail, thoroughness, graciousness and follow up that are marks of a great leader. Someone once said in the corporate world that you can tell if a CEO will be a good boss to work for by the way he treats the waiter. Such a CEO understands the fundamental principle of inter-connectedness. Like it or not, we are all interconnected, humans, humanoids, animals, spirits, plants, the world etc etc whatever. How can we be happy by making other people miserable? Makes sense to be nice to the waiter don’t you reckon? You can never know what you’re eating.
How wonderfully rejoicing for Kechara to receive such a beautiful letter from the former 4th Vice-President of U.S.A., Al Agore in acknowledgment of Rinpoche’s book, The Promise. Congratulations should once again be extended to KMP for a job well done in the production and active promotion of such good quality books to far and wide international boundaries and some well renowned personalties, like Al Agore. As a book writer and producer, Al Agore has won the 2007 Nobel Peace Award for his wide-reaching efforts to draw the World’s attention to the dangers of Global Warming! Kechara is certainly on the right track in spreading its “Goal” which will benefit more beings in the future!
Congratulations to KMP once again! May Rinpoche’s pictorial biography inspire and touch the lives of more people!!!
How wonderful of him to acknowledge the book. May we reach out to more people!
Wow…its wonderful:)
That is so wonderful dear Rinpoche.
Very thoughtful and orderly of Al Gore mgmt style. Shows a good personality. And KMP do produce lots of quality books.Kudos for the international recognition and continue the good job.
I notice those who sent thank you letter upon receipt of KMP’s books very inspiring! Despite their busy schedule and het-setting lifestyle, they take time to response. This shows their offices are very well organized. An these people will go far !!
May KMP’s books touch many many more.
Translation: “perusing” means “glance at the cover as I walk past my pile of unsolicited mail.” And “look forward to” means “I haven’t done even this yet.”
It doesn’t matter. You miss the point. The point is that at least he’s received it. Even if he doesn’t read it, one of his staff might. And might find it interesting enough to bring it to his attention eventually.
Just because it doesn’t reach Al Gore directly, doesn’t mean someone else’s life won’t be change by it.
It’s a matter of perspective and motivation what you hope to achieve by your actions.
