Lama Tsongkhapa arrives at Jan’s lovely Home!!!
(By Tsem Rinpoche)
Many beautfiful offerings were readied to recieve Lama Tsongkapa. The family have been planning this for a long time. Twelve people from Kechara House went to help Jan and family. They were Mdm Han Nee, Elaine Cheah, Gim Lee, Chia, Girlie, Albert, Junior, Pat, Becky, Choi Sheem and Ashlee and Wan. Everyone was very happy to be at this event of inviting holy images back to Jan’s family home.
Their home will be blessed and their family will have a wonderful place to meditate, do prayers, make offerings and generally be enveloped in the powerful energy these holy images will emit. Their children will be very blessed to have the holy dharma in their lives at such a young age thanks to their parents.
How incredible. I am so happy for them.

It is so beautiful! Rejoice Jan Yong!
I love the three feet Lama Tsongkhapa with the Guru Tree Thangka at the back. Besides, the roll of Buddhas & protectors are superd! She has all the protections & blessings from the holy beings. I fully agreed with Paris that our altar will grow! 😉
The more we understand the incredible significance of Buddha images, the blessings and protection that they can give us, we just can’t help to grow our altar. With the altar, our family and surrounding will be also be blessed by the positive energy! Really hope my house have more and more space for a huge altar!
This lama Tsongkhapa statue is lovely. The statue really renders so much blessings to the environment.
I had the opportunity to participate in the invitation of Lama Tsongkhapa to June’s house just recently this year. More than 10 people from KH (JB) participated, and we did prayer together. It was a really nice experience – more than 10 people squeezing next to each other doing prayer.
It was nice to have spiritual-minded friends gather together for a common purpose.
May Jan’s family continue to receive blessings from Lama Tsongkhapa, Medicine Buddha, Green Tara, Chenresig, Manjushri, Dzambala and Setrap!
Jan Yong is very much loved and liked by a lot of Kechara members. When she was a newby in KH she never had an altar with so much statues in her home yet. I notice she will take every opportunity to learn and help to set up altars before any Pujas. And then also she will help clear water offerings. Up todate she has never failed to volunteer in any KH events. She has just recently moved to a new house and she has invited a lovely 3ft Tsongkhapa statue to her new home. She also has other smaller statues. More than ten people were invited to do prayers to bless her new home. Jan told me her daughters like Rinpoche very much and whenever Jan makes or cooks anything at home her daughters will think of giving Rinpoche first.
Jan Yong is a very sweet, soft spoken and sincere lady who will go all out to help or support any one or any function. I rejoice that she has invited a 3 feet Lama Tsongkhapa to her home for the benefit of her family and loved ones. It’s great to know that more and more people now are inviting bigger statues to their homes. Our Kechara brothers and sisters are always very happy to help anyone who wants to set up altars. Jan Yong and her family members deserved all the good blessings they will get for inviting a beautiful 3 feet Tsongkapa statue back home to their lovely house, together with Medicine Buddha, Green Tara, Chenrezig, Manjushri, Dzambala and Setrap in accompaniment.
The powerful energy emitted at each prayer session from all these holy statues will meritoriously bestow great blessings and protection to the whole household and family members.
It’s also kind and wonderful of Jan to plant the holy Dharma seed into her children minds the at such young age, obviously Dharma is definitely the best gift for parents to give to their children!!
My most heartiest congratulations & best regards to Jan & her blessed family.
Jan is very sweet and sincere lady, while her new house was under renovation she also preparing offering items ie mandala set, sensory offering, scripture, stupa ect for her altar. And when her house done she also have all complete set of offering items. She has dedicated one room in her new house as a prayer room to put beautiful statues and do her prayer daily.
Jan loves her children so much and she would like to plant dharma seeds in their minds by seeing the buddha statues and hearing the secred mantra when she does her prayer daily will create a good cause for them. What a very beautiful thought to give to her child.

I agree with Jamie. When I first started out, I was gifted a white porcelain standing Kuan Yin by Rinpoche. I never for a moment would have thought that my little altar (Kuan Yin alone with a little bowl of water offering) would grow and grow and grow … as if to fill in the loneliness, I now have Tsongkhapa, Yellow Dzambala, and many many more statues to accompany her; it is now like one big extended family. And they keep me company when I am alone at home. Great company – they don’t nag at you, don’t complain, don’t criticize – what more could you ask for? They have definitely blessed my home and surroundings.
It’s kind of funny how most of us started out with just one little statue… and then realise that they have a tendency of GROWING. Now, my statues battle for space on the altar; my parents had to kick out the piano and extra furniture and build a whole new altar to fit their 3-feet Tsongkhapa, Tara AND Setrap. And mum is still bringing statues home.
When you understand the incredible significance of Buddha images and the kind of blessings, protection and healing they can bring us, you would be clamouring too. They’re never merely just a statue; they are an entire physical manifestation of the Buddha’s teachings in a visual form. Every part of their bodies bring us a little closer to Enlightenment if only we spend a little time to contemplate on every aspect.
And heck, some of them are just so damn pretty! (I have a million Tara statues just because they are all so beautiful and when I look at them, I think, “When I grow up, I want to look like you,”, which makes me get off my fat arse and actually do something positive for the day instead.)
lots more gorgeousness just waiting to go home and keep you company at your altar: http://www.kechara.com/paradise
ps great for lonely nights and a Buddha will never stand you up like those stupid boyfriends do.
Congrats to Jan & family for inviting Lama Tsongkhapa back to their lovely new home. Now more and more families in Malaysia are inviting holy Buddha statues home. How nice that Je Tsongkhapa is bringing blessing to more and more families here.
Wonderful Jan Yong. She is so sincere and kind hearted and it is really wonderful that she invited all these fabulous statues home to generate great merits for the family. I am really happy for her and her family.
