A letter from Jeff Bridges
A few weeks ago, I sent a few of Kechara Media & Publication‘s (KMP) books to Jeff Bridges. In return, I received a personal letter from Mr Bridges acknowledging and giving thanks for the gift! I am very proud of our Media and Publication department for producing so many high quality books with excellent content. I hope Mr Bridges will benefit from reading these books as with how many others have benefited from it.
Mr Bridges is an internationally acclaimed American actor, musician, producer, photographer and storyteller. He has starred in many box office movies such as Tron, Iron Man, The Contender, Starman, The Fabulous Baker Boys, Jagged Edge, Against All Odds, The Fisher King, Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, Seabiscuit, Arlington Road, and The Big Lebowski and many more. He is also in the process of filming a new movie titled ‘The Seventh Son’ which will hit the big screen in 2013.
I really thank Mr Bridges who took some time off from his busy schedule to send a letter. How considerate of him.

Wonderful indeed Kechara books are really going global, from Malaysia to across the states and to Jeff Bridges a well known actor, musician, producer, photographer and storyteller. The Kechara Media and Publication department did a good job.A busy man like Jeff Bridges is kind of him,acknowleged by replying with a beautiful simple note of appreciation even he so busy in his schedule . How wonderful of him.
With this do hpoe so more of RInpoche’s teaching will spread to his firends and throungh them to goes more people.

This is so cool! Even celebrities now know of KMPs books! I am very happy that this happened, i hope there will be more things like this in the future, so more of RInpoche’s teaching can spread all around the world. Thank you for sharing Rinpoche.
Don’t be fooled. Jeff can’t read a word. He just that good an actor. Besides, he’s too busy tryin’ to figure out which side to wear a patch over & eating cumin(insert RIPD reference here) to let the dead walk the earth; but ya gotta respect him as a woman (funniest delivery of the best line in years); bless his heart.
Wow! I’m a big fan of Jeff Bridges, it’s very nice to see a hollywood star taking the time off his busy schedule to express his gratitude.
KMP’s books are indeed very well produced and have excellent contents. I am sure Mr Bridges will benefit from them.
I have come across articles and videos of Mr. Bridges finding his spiritual guide and himself. I believe he has written a book with his spiritual teacher titled “The Dude and the Zen Master.”
The Big Lebowski is a cult classic which is one of my favourite movies, Mr Bridges portrays a man who would rather “Hug it out than slug it out.” Just a total pacifist kinda guy dressed like a hobo.
Wow this is so cool! Im glad kechara books actually made it to his home desk and not some where in his office where he might miss it. I really enjoyed his acting in “the men who stare at goats” it was such a hilarious and entertaining movie. I really hope Rinpoche teachings would impact his life and make him happier and hopefully also share it with his family and friends. Congratulations KMP for this success.
i hope mister Jeff Bridges promotes kechara, not to mention enjoy the book. i hade fun watching him in iron man and i saw him here and i was like “awesome” . please promote us Mr. Bridges.

First of all of thank you for sharing this wonderful article on Jeff Bridges.
Here are my thoughts,
1. It was very nice for him to find time to read the book that we sent to him, and even reply to thank us for it.
2. In my point of view this shows as an potential opportunity for us to get noticed as well as get more sponsors as well, this is because a lot of people like to do what the rich do IF they can afford so if somebody rich with a title like an famous actor/actress or a singer.
3. May these dharma books benefit him in many, many ways and his family.

a Hollywood star like Jeff Bridges who practice meditations in finding peace and clarity amidst the busy schedule is something wonderful and example to many. KMP did such a wonderful job at the books, now it not only reaches normal public, but it also can touch celebrities, its just wonderful.

That’s a very nice, short, simple and sincere letter. Nice to know some of the celebrities and VIPs that receive our books really appreciate it.
I like Jeff Bridges’ acting and it is wonderful that he is reading KMP’s books. I hope reading the books will pique his interest to find out more about Rinpoche and Kechara, and who knows, we may even see him on blog chat or posting questions to Rinpoche.
Jeff Bridges is a practicing Buddhist and we see Buddhist undertones in some of his movie, especially Tron in which Jeff Bridges stars and produces. The nemesis to Jeff’s character in Tron is “CLU” (Codified Likeness Utility) which is a program meant for good was was captured and turned. Clu in the movie, had no knowledge that he is just a programme and thought of himself as having existence independently. Interestingly the part of the good buy and the bad guy in the movie is played by the same person i.e. Jeff. I like that because, as we know we are very much our own nemesis. There also other references to Buddhism such as Jeff Bridges’ character speaking about “removing the self from the equation”.
Wouldn’t it great if Jeff were to pass Kechara books around amongst his Hollywood friends.

Wow! How thoughtful of him for sending a personal letter to Rinpoche to thank for the books. He must be a truly well practiced Buddhist for having this much gratitude and respect for Rinpoche.
The fact that he is so busy and yet took the time to send a message shows how much he respect and appreciate Rinpoche’s kindness… and also shows what kind of person he is, which is selfless.
I’m really glad that KMP produced so many beautiful, informative and Dharma filled books that many people of all walks of life can benefit from. I have enjoyed watching Jeff Bridges in many movies especially Arlington Road and the first ever serious or drama I have ever watched on the big screen the ‘Fabulous Baker Boys’. Michelle Pfeiffer was amazing in the ‘Fabulous Baker Boys’ too. I do hope Jeff bridges goes on to make even better movies and would really enjoy Rinpoche’s books!

I’m looking forward to Jeff Bridges’s sharing on what he has learned from the book. It is very kind of him to personally send a thank you letter for the gift he has received. I’m sure he receives lots of gifts on a daily basis and for him to send each of the sender a thank you letter requires lots of time being taken off from his busy schedule.
