12 ft Tsongkapa Here!!
(By Tsem Rinpoche)
I wanted to share this quick picture with everyone. The 12ft Tsongkapa (Je Tse-Zinma) has arrived to our new Kechara Gompa (Prayer Hall)!
This form of Tsongkapa creates long life, harmony, stability, wisdom and great merits. The image is being assembled in our new Gompa RIGHT NOW. The Gompa which is estimated to finish in around three weeks is expecting a 8ft Setrap and Vajra Yogini to arrive soon also.
So the holy statue had to be transported before the Gompa finishes because of the sheer size as it would of course not fit through a door. A special opening was kept opening in the wall to accommodate. The surroundings around Tsongkapa is our new Gompa and it is filled with workers.
Stay tuned.
Much care,
Tsem Rinpoche

Lama Tsongkhapa was an influential Tibetan Buddhist monk, philosopher and tantric yogi, whose activities led to the formation of the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism . Lama Tsongkhapa was hailed as the second Buddha by contemporary Buddhist masters of his time. Famous for reviving Buddhism in Tibet and revered for elevating the Dharma to all its present glory. Hence having a 12 ft Lama Tsongkhapa Statue at new Kechara Gompa (Prayer Hall) is indeed a blessing. Its truly beautiful. Merely by looking at it is a blessing .
Thank you Rinpoche and team effort making it possible.
Very cool! I did not know that this Tsongkhapa would not fit through the doors and had to be ushered in through a hole in the wall left open. This shows careful planning & attention to detail.
The word I have to type in order to prove I am human to post this comment is “methylated” O.o – brings back Breaking Bad (American TV show) memories.

Thank you for the efforts that the team put in to make it possible that so many of us here have the great fortune to have Lord Tsongkapa in the Gompa.
May we continue to receive the blessings of Lord Tsongkapa, may dharma continue to flourish in this region, and that Kechara will continue to grow bigger as time goes by.
This image is so beauuutiful. Can’t wait for the Lady Vajrayogini and Lord Setrap update as well to complete the magnificient trio. I will be so happy to snap all the pictures of those wonderful Buddha and be inspired by all the goodness.
Thanks to Rinpoche’s naturally good eyes, memory and passion, lifetime after lifetime, this image of Lama Tsongkhapa is well proportioned and correctly icon. I am sure the 7′ Lady Vajrayogini would be breath-taking and the 7′ Lord Setrap will be majestic as well!
How magnificent it will be to have the similar image of this form of Lama Tsongkhapa, maybe 12 times bigger, up in the cool mountains in KWPC.
Dear Rinpoche
Roland and I are very grateful for this amazing opportunity you have given my family, especially Roland. It is so very auspicious and we are so very very blessed.
Tsongkhapa looks beautiful in the pictures and although JP emailed me to contact Paul or Ngeow, we decided not to do so because we want to see the completed statue in all its glory. We are also very excited and cannot wait for the Vajrayogini and Setrap statues. We are so very humbled, all 3 statues !!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Words cannot describe our gratitude. Our wish is that anyone who even get to look upon the 3 statues will be immensely blessed as we are.May all achieve great merits, wisdom, harmony, longlife and stability as advised by my great guru.
SIZE DOES MATTER, DOESN’T IT? HAHA
Before knowing Kechara, I’ve always thought statues to be small and petite. When I came into Kechara House and visited some of the members’ homes, I was really blown away at all their big statues.
I dare say that only Kecharians would place big statues in their homes and offices.
Big statues truly exude so much inspiration and awe. Just looking at them takes one’s breath away. Small statues are cute too when we put them in our cars. But once you have an experience with a big statue, you will probably not want to go back to just having small ones.
The sacred rupa is ssso beautiful! It takes your breath away when you gaze upon it – you feel so blissful; your gross negative mental states are simply transformed; amazing!
Wow how auspicious and in time for Rinpoche’s birthday! Looking forward to paying my respect to Lama Tsongkhapa in the new Gompa!
WOW! What a beautiful statue. Lama Tsongkapa would surely bless the visitors of the new Gompa. Can’t wait for the opening of the new Gompa.

Lama Tsongkapa statue is huge. Being 10ft tall it is exactly double my height. As I am only 5 ft tall. This form of image which is called Je Tse Zinma is already settling down in the new Gompa before the place is ready. And it has all the requisites of long life, harmony, stability, wisdom and great merits. Our new Gompa with Lama Tsongkapa enthroned will be the link and gateway for KWPC to manifest. For those who enter to pray or visit the new Gompa will surely be also blessed by this 10ft Lama Tsongkapa. For those buildings and businesses around our new Gompa will also be lucky to get protection and blessings of Tsongkapa.
Kechara Growing and KWPC coming Soon.
Oh goodness! This statue is really big! It’s…almost exactly twice my height hahaha
I can’t wait to see the statue! I hope that upon sight, people will make a strong connection with Tsongkhapa..
May we never be parted from holy Gurus.
May pure deeds spread to the ten directions.
May the light of Tsongkhapa always remains dispelling the darkness and ignorance of beings.
