FROM 7-11-2010 TO 12-11-2010 THE NEW STATUES WERE FILLED WITH HOLY RELICS, HOLY TEXTS, STATUES, HOLY IMAGES, ROLLED MANTRAS, POTPURRI, PENDANTS, KHATAS AND MANY OTHER THINGS.
So much work was put into the beautiful statues in our new Kechara Prayer Hall. The statues are set up with so much love and care. Kechara Discovery and Kechara Saraswati Arts Depts were primarily responsible for the statues and their completion…and they did a great job with so much effort from the volunteers.
I am proud of all our people who put so much love, care and precision work into these holy statues.

Even it an old post yet looking at those pictures tell us a thousands words of how our Kechara statues came to be. Thanks to all generous sponsors and those involved at that moment working tirelessly to get it done with care and love.
Thanks to Rinpoche been here in Malaysia.
Looking back at these pictures, those moments were so precious. Really thank you to all who have contributed in any shapes or form. 🙏.
Rejoice for everyone to be able to participate in this statue installation project. It requires a lot of planning, hard work and determination from many people in order to put up 3 big and stunning statues in Kechara House. Thank you Rinpoche for your compassion in setting up KH and give us opportunity to pay respect to the 3 great Buddhas.

With now the Gompa has already been so beautifully set up, these pictures really bring good memories back. I see the serenity from Lord Tsongkapa, the wrathful Lord Setrap, the beautiful Lord Varjayogini, the close team work of many who participated in the setting up and the delicate preparations throughout the entire process.
Very precious pictures and memories….

Good job, the statute is so beautiful and grand.
Paul went to Cambodia to source the beautiful statues of 7ft Vajrayogini, 10ft Lama Tsongkapa and 7ft Setrap to be placed in our new KH Gompa. And it looks very spectacular set up on the Altar. Only three big statues is enough to show how grand the Gompa looks. I am sure lot of people were attracted to them during the official opening of the new Gompa. The statues need to be decorated, painted and clothes sewn to put on Lama Tsongkapa. Pearls have to be strung for Vajrayogini to wear. All these are due to the hard work of the many volunteers that came to help. And not to mention especially Paul, Pat, Lily Ng, Choi Sheem, louise, Yvonne and the other staffs of the two departments KD/KSA.
Imagine a big new Gompa being renovated in three months. That was fast. And it was hard work done collectively by Rinpoche and his team of dedicated students and volunteers. For an organisation to be successful and run smoothly everyone should be and must be involved. Like the 3 Kechara House Statues namely Vajrayogini, Lama Tsongkapa and Setrap. Most of the students, staff and volunteers in Kechara Discovery KD and Kechara Saraswati Arts KSA in some way or other is involved playing a role in purchasing and ordering, transportation, tailoring the clothes, in beading pearls as accessories to adorned Vajrayogini and helping to raise funds for the official opening of the new Gompa. The whole opening event of the new Gompa went of very well without any obstacles. Thanks to the blessings of the Protectors and Deities of our KH Gompa.
Thank you everyone for the great effort and work. The amount of work done is really is impressive. Now Kechara has made another new wave. All the above picture show a lot of dedication and a lot of people are happy and also wants the Dharma to grow and benefit others.
Thank you thank you and thank you.

It’s simply impressive! Congratulations and heartfelt appreciation to all of you who are involved in this monumental task.
An amazing team work. Thanks to all who made this possible.
Thank You for all the hard work and dedication. I bow with respect.
The latest measurement of Tsongkhapa is 11.8ft, Vajrayogini 8.1ft and Setrap 8.4ft. It is are made taller during the making and adjustment process.
I rejoice in the effort and hard work by all those dedicated people from all ages who came to help in beautifying and inserting the mantras onto Lama Tsongkhapa, Vajrayogini and Setrap. It is through the dedication of these people that we will be able to admire and pay respect to these holy statues when we enter our new Gompa. How kind of them!
DAY ONE – THE ARRIVAL OF THE NEW GOMPA STATUES (7 ft Vajrayogini, 7 ft Setrap and 8 ft Lama Tsongkhapa)
Why the title is 8ft Lama Tsongkhapa while the earlier blog mentioned it as 10 ft. Which is the correct one? 8ft or 10 ft
Amazing dedication from all those who were involved!
I am sure Rinpoche is very very happy and glad not only because of the completed physical building of the new gompa but also the amount of dedication put in by all his students and volunteers to make all this happen. Can you imagine the gompa was completed in just THREE MONTHS? and the quality of it is TOP NOTCH as well. I visited the gompa so I can tell!
If it wasn’t because of the dedication of the team and of course with Rinpoche’s blessings, do you think this amazing gompa could’ve been completed in just 3 months?
Through one building alone, those who were involved have learnt so much, so I can imagine the wonders of working towards TKL!Hopefully I will be part of it as well!
I must say I’m a tad disappointed at how the Vajrayogini outfit turned out. I much prefer how it was on the 2-11-2010 pictures. As a woman who loves to dance, and seeks to integrate sacred movement into my spiritual practice, the final outfit looks a bit over the top for me. It’s not my intention to disparage the amazing effort and diligent beadwork that went into the outfit, but to me the massive weight of the beads doesn’t enhance physical movement but rather hinders it.
I’m not from your culture, so take what I say as an ignorant outsider’s perspective LOL.
I love to dance, and my ideal outfit if I were to meditate on Vajrayogini would be something designed to enhance the movement. I’d be proud of my Vajrayogini body, and use the lines of pearls to draw attention to the line of cleavage along my breasts, and the skirt would flash and clack as I leapt, stomped and waved my limbs in unencumbered bliss. I’d like what I wear to draw attention to the nakedness and purity of what I represent, not hide my figure and make me trip over my outfit if I took a step backwards. From a dancer’s perspective, you don’t want something too long to get in the way of your steps. Or something too heavy to restrict your undulating movements. The naked human body is ornament in itself, and a mandala of the cosmos. If you add too much decoration to a perfect body, that would be like me going to the Louvre to put an extra brushstroke on a Picasso.
The Wiccans have an amazing term they use to describe a naked human body dancing at play with the universe— “Skyclad”. I think the dakinis of yore were skyclad and I’d hoped to see more of Vajrayogini’s breasts, thighs and sacred form exposed.
