This is the latest ‘interesting’ video from our superstar Court Jester aka David Lai…Get ready to laugh until you collapse…
A few of us and David were sitting around talking and guess what? David told us when he was much younger (he’s a single child) he would come home, bored and looking for something to do. So he developed a new friend!!!! What an interesting friend at that!! Hehehe…He became friends with Mr. Stomach!!! Yes he thought of that name himself!!! He use to squeeze his stomach and it would ‘talk’ and he would talk back to it..and guess what? He and Mr. Stomach had many interesting conversations together. Well we pleaded David to have a conversation with Mr Stomach and he did…I am sure the ‘kids’ are gonna love it!! hehe…Get ready to start your day with Mr. Stomach……Tsem Rinpoche

Dear Rinpoche, David has always been a great entertainer to me. He is always helpful and the one that bring funny jokes. And of course I love his jokes. Sometimes when I feel too bored I will also talk to myself but not in this way. it’s just imagination, I will kept on talking to myself about everything until when my mom says: Edward, why are you talking to yourself? Haha

This is very funny. But when I was about 5 to 10 years old, whenever I watched television I will also talk to a imaginary friend. It feels like I actually talking with someone when I am just talking with myself. And its really fun to play with your imagination.

I’m not too sure whether David turned out so… different… coz he was brought up a single child, or whether it’s an innate characteristic of David haha.

David is really good at comedy. He should learn ventriloquism. He is already quite good at having a multiple personality when speaking to his stomach. Mr. Stomach should have a performance on a stage to raise funds for KMP. Many people would want to watch.

Hilarious ! Years back , I hv seen a ‘ pro ‘ version by comedians where they paint their torso with eyes and nose to make it really like a face talking.

I was fortunate to be in the room yesterday. Besides this, Rinpoche gave David beautiful advice on how to move forward with results and to be a successful in his dharma work, And at the end he will achieve happiness.
This is what Rinpoche does tirelessly to most of his students. Some listen and follow through. From there, you will see the results. Some don’t and it is sad.
LOL! David, you can be a comedian too. Next time, when opportunity knocks perform for “fun” and “fund” raising projects! Hmmmm, why not?
I have the greatest honour to witness David’s performance and talents. Having getting front row seat, I tried so hard not to laugh as I was afraid my laughter would be recorded and distract the recording. So what happened to the front vow VIP guests.. they were holding their laughter so hard and tears were flowing down from our eyes. David is hilarious!
I did not know he had Mr.Stomach with him as a friend since childhood days… It was like discovering Mr.Hanky from South Park in David! David is super duper funny and a great brother to hang out with. This is just the beginning people, haha… you have no idea what other talents David might have… hehe

OMG this is tooooo funny. I’m in a place where I can’t laugh too loudly right now so I’m about to suffocate from trying not to laugh… OMG SO SO SO FUNNY. David really does have INTERESTING stories doesn’t he…. His mother told us that he had tried to be superman once (they had bought him a costume). He asked his mother to find him a very long, strong elastic band to tie him up and hang him down the stairs so he could “fly”. I guess he was smart enough to have anticipated the dangers of just jumping down the stairs and thought of safety precautions, even at age 7!

Omg this is the funniest thing I’ve seen in a long long time, and David is such a good sport to do this, and to bare his stomach hahaha over the years, he’s done so many odd things like catwalk down Bangsar or dance on the spot, and made a lot of us laugh. Maybe his talent is in comedy!
