Do Aliens exist?

Mar 8, 2021 | Views: 6,070

Mysteries about ancient aliens that brought civilization to earth, be it via direct manipulation of evolution or introduction of new technologies, have always amazed a large number of people. Although there do exist writings about these ancient beings, without any real proof, people continue to question if aliens really did walk on this planet, once upon a time.

So the question here remains, “Do aliens exist?”

When viewed in a logical way, it is not too difficult to believe in the existence of other beings in a different planet. Even here on Earth, there are a variety of beings, some only just recently discovered. Others earthlings could be still undiscovered up until now. And the same could apply to beings on other planets.

Tsem Rinpoche

Ancient Aliens

The idea about ancient aliens has been around since the middle of the 19th century. The idea first gained widespread exposure with the 1968 publication of Chariots of the Gods by Erich von Daniken.

The book states that the human population was influenced by extraterrestrials that visited Earth in the past, which can be seen through the ruins found in various places such as Sumeria. The basic idea was that the aliens were directly involved in the evolution of primates to humans which was achieved through genetic engineering, cross breeding, or a combination of both, which led to the development of human culture, technologies and religion.

This concept is related to the religious practice of a cargo cult. It is believed that the extraterrestrials tricked the human population into believing they were Gods, creating religion to help people evolve more efficiently.

The zoo hypothesis backs up the theory of why aliens generally avoid making direct contact with people, or avoid exerting an influence on development, almost similar to zookeepers observing animals in the zoo, or experimental scientists observing a study of life. Adherents of this hypothesis feel that Earth and humans are secretly observed using equipments on Earth or elsewhere in the Solar System.

Angels and Demons

The idea of ancient aliens has brought about the religion Raelism. The Raelism Movement teaches that life on earth was scientifically created by extraterrestrials, called Elohim. Known as the largest UFO religion in the world, Raelians believe messengers, or prophets of Elohim include Buddha, Jesus and many others who informed humans of each era.

Another religion that developed based on ancient aliens is Thelema, sometime during the 20th century. Written by Aleister Crowley, who believed he was the prophet of a new age, it was based on his religious experiences in Egypt, 1904, where he received direct dictation from an entity named Aiwass. Their ethical code makes known that Thelemites should seek out and follow their own True Will rather than their ego’s desires.

Men in Black

The Men in Black are men or aliens, dressed in black suits who have been reported to harass or threaten UFO witnesses to keep them quiet about what they have seen. In most cases, the men claim to be government agents, but it is often suggested that they are aliens themselves.

Modern Technical Advancement

During WWII, the term foo fighter was used by Allied aircraft pilots to describe the various UFOs and mysterious aerial phenomena seen in the skies over both the European and Pacific Theater of Operations. In the wake of the war, the world entered an era of substantial achievement and technical advancement.

One such example is the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird, which is a United States aircraft that was developed in the early 1960s. The SR-71 Blackbird is a strategic reconnaissance aircraft that currently holds the air speed record. In 1903, Wilbur Wright set the aircraft speed record going 6.82 mph (10.98 km/h). In 1976, the SR-71 Blackbird went 2,193.2 mph (3,529.6 km/h). The craft was manned by Eldon W. Joersz during the record flight, but is highly capable of taking off and landing unassisted.

Proponents of the ancient alien theory have suggested that the development of nuclear weapons sparked an increased interest in humanity’s evolutionary path, ultimately leading to an era of mass abductions and close encounters. Some others point to the current global climate disruption and apocalypse predictions, identifying them as a precursor for the secret extraterrestrial involvement and intervention on Earth, ensuring the survival of life.

Angel Hair

Angel hair or siliceous cotton is a substance that is said to be dispersed from UFOs as they fly overhead. It is named for its similarity to fine hair, or spider webs. One theory is that it is ionized air sleeting off an electromagnetic field. Reports of angel hair say that it disintegrates or evaporates within a short time of forming.

The most reported incidence occurred in Oloron, France in 1952. In the Portuguese city of Evora on November 2, 1959, angel hair was collected and analyzed with microscopes by a local school director and later by armed forces technicians and scientists of the University of Lisbon. Conclusions were not possible although it was formed, apparently, by a small organism featuring 10 arms stretching out from a central core. It was advanced that it could be a single celled organism.

Beginning in the 14th century, humans began to mention a gelatinous substance named star jelly. Star jelly is described as a translucent or grayish white gelatin, which tends to evaporate shortly after falling. In the past, the substance was connected with meteor showers. Angel grass is a related phenomenon that occurs when short metallic threads fall to the ground in intertwined loosed masses. However, angel grass is an explained occurrence and comes from certain military aircraft. It is a type of Chaff, used as a radar counter-measure.

Greys

Greys are a proposed alien species that is most widely associated with the alien abduction phenomenon. Named for their skin color, it has been alleged that Greys are intelligent extraterrestrials who visit Earth and secretly perform medical experiments on humans.

Paranormal claims surrounding the Greys are different in many ways, including their nature, moral dispositions, intentions and physical appearances, some having a different skin color. A composite description derived from overlap claims would have Greys as small bodied, sexless beings with smooth grey skin, an enlarged head and large eyes. They are described as humanoid beings that possess reduced forms of, or a completely lack of, external human organs such as noses, ears or sex organs.

People have described the Greys as staring into their eyes when conducting mental procedures. This staring, which is performed directly in your face, is claimed to induce hallucinogenic states or directly provoke different emotions. According to English reproductive biologist Jack Cohen, the typical image of a Grey, given that it would have evolved on a world with different environmental and ecological conditions from Earth, is too physiologically similar to a human to be credible as an alien species. This brings us to the theory that these extraterrestrial beings had some influence on the evolution of life on Earth in the distant past, or that they are an ancient race of humans that was forced to abandon Earth, but still watches over the planet.

Animal Mutilation

Cattle mutilation is a term that has been adopted to describe the apparent killing, and then mutilation, of cattle under unusual or anomalous circumstances. Sheep and horses have also been mutilated, and the phenomenon is not specific to cattle. A hallmark of these incidents is the surgical nature of the mutilation. The surgical procedure is precise, with no obvious entry point, and surgically removal of reproductive organs and anal coring is constant.

The first largely reported case of mutilation occurred near Alamosa, Colorado, in 1967. The event involved a horse named Lady, who was discovered with her head and neck skinned. The cuts on the horse were very precise and no blood was found. At the scene, fifteen tapering, circular exhaust marks were punched into the ground. Similar to other cases of animal mutilation, the area surrounding Lady showed an increase in radiation levels. By the mid 1970s, mutilated cattle were reported in 15 US states and in many other areas all over the world.

Many of the accounts include unexplained lights, sounds and UFOs. It has been noted that mutilated cattle are avoided by large scavengers, several days after death. Similarly, domestic animals are reported to be visibly agitated and fearful of the carcass. Laboratory reports carried out on some of these animals have shown unusually high or low levels of vitamins or minerals in tissue samples, and the presence of chemicals not normally found in animals.

Various hypotheses have been written, suggesting that cattle mutilations have been committed by aliens who are gathering genetic material for unknown purposes. Proponents of the ancient alien theory suggest that, as cows make up a significant part of the global human diet, a study is being carried out on this element of the human food chain.

Spaceship Moon Theory

Also known as the Vasin-Shcherbakov Theory, the Spaceship Moon Theory is a pseudoscientific theory that claims the Earth’s moon may actually be an alien spacecraft. Over the years, it has been scientifically observed that the Earth’s Moon holds some strange characteristics. The Moon is the 5th largest natural satellite in the Solar System. It is believed to have been created by a giant impact between the young Earth and a Mars-sized body. After examination, it has been noted that the Moon is apparently in the wrong orbit for its size, according to its current assumed density. Astronomy data indicates that the internal regions of the Moon are less dense than the outer, giving rise to the inevitable speculation that it could be hollow. Some of these claims come from the fact that when meteors strike the Moon, it rings like a bell. More specifically, when the Apollo crew, on November 20, 1969, released the lunar module, after returning to the orbiter, the module impact with the Moon caused their seismic equipment to register a continuous reverberation like a bell for more than an hour.

The moon is far older than previously expected, maybe even older than the Earth or the Sun. The oldest age for the Earth is estimated to be 4.6 billion years old, while Moon rocks were dated at 5.3 billion years. The chemical composition of the dust upon which the rocks sit is remarkably different from the rocks themselves. This indicates that the lunar surface may have been moved from somewhere else and placed on the Moon. Some of the Moon’s craters originated internally, yet there is no indication that the Moon was ever hot enough to produce volcanic eruptions. Hundreds of moonquakes are recorded each year that cannot be attributed to meteor strikes. Some of the quakes seem to follow a specific schedule.

The moon’s crust is much harder than originally presumed. When NASA was recorded drilling down a few inches into the Moon’s surface, it appeared that metal shavings were visible. Earth’s moon is the only natural satellite in the Solar System that has a stationary, near-perfect circular orbit. How does one explain the coincidence that the moon is just the right distance, coupled with just the right diameter, to completely cover the sun during an eclipse? Professional astronomers have been gradually discouraged from investigating a phenomenon that has been reported on the Moon for 1,000 years. It is short-lived light, color, or other changes in the appearance of the lunar surface, referred to as Transient Lunar Phenomena.

Solway Firth Spaceman

Val Camonica, Italy, is one of the largest valleys of the central Alps, in eastern Lombardy. It is the location of a set of ancient paintings that are believed to depict forgotten deities. The pictures resemble modern day astronauts, despite being painted around 10,000 BC. On May 23, 1964, Jim Templeton, a firefighter from Carlisle, Cumberland, took three pictures of his five-year-old daughter while on a day trip to Burgh Marsh, situated near Burgh by Sands and overlooking the Solway Firth in Cumbria, England.

In the second image captured by Templeton, a white figure can be seen in what looks like a space suit. Templeton insists that he did not see the figure until after his photographs were developed, and analysts at Kodak confirmed that the photograph was genuine. To this day, the picture remains unexplained and a source of international fascination. When the picture was taken, in 1964, human space suits were in their extreme infancy. It has been suggested by some people that the figure is merely someone with their back to the camera, perhaps wearing a hat or helmet.

Upon the national release of the photograph, Jim Templeton claimed that he was visited by two men who, he says, came from Her Majesty’s Government. The men tried to make Templeton admit that he had photographed a person, but he refused. Ufologists have used the photograph as evidence that extraterrestrial life has influenced the modern day space program, including space suits.

Extra-terrestrial life is hypothetical life which may occur outside Earth. Researcher and scientists had spent years investigating unexplained aerial phenomena. Interesting …..the truth is out there yet no one has be able figure out what it. Its only eye witness who had seen it but no hard evidence to support it. I do believe in the existence of other beings in a different planet . Well someday , someone scientist for sure will find evidence of cosmic civilizations in the sky’s depths.
Thank you Rinpoche for this interest sharing.

There may have been a chance for a civilization to start billions of years before life began on Earth as discovered by scientists. Several discoveries and theories from some of the greatest minds in science point to the likelihood that there is something beyond out there in the universe. I do believe that we are not alone in the universe. Well, there many on going research that has taken place to look for signs of extra terrestrial life such as aliens. Scientist have been using telescope and specimen data to radios to detect and send communication signals. Currently, scientist do not have any evidence to support that aliens exist but the research work still going on with the discovery of a varieties of beings in the universal . Stories of the sighting of aliens and other species by eye witnesses yet to proof their existence. Researcher and scientists have not given up hope to research for evidence. Interesting read .

of course there are Aliens – so many universes, every star you see (many of which are dead by the time their light reaches us) can be a Sun, with its own series of planets orbiting it, and even if 1% of them have life on them, then of course they are “aliens” who would consider humanity as being aliens to them, however, this is not a new idea, Giordano Bruno https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giordano_Bruno was burnt alive for suggesting this hundreds of years ago – yet we have to be careful – in the history of our planet we often see that when an advanced/bigger/stronger/wealthier/well developed civilisation comes in contact with a primitive/smaller/weaker/poorer/undeveloped/developing civilisation that the stronger ones wipe out/colonize/enslave the weaker ones in an attempt to “civilise” them, now it seems less apparent – we have “cultural exchanges”, “economic migrants”, “foreign investors”, refugees from conflicts – all quite interesting, so much to learn.

Personally i believe that the existence of alien life on earth is true. No matter what others say, everyone has the right to an opinion and my opinion is that aliens do exist.

Now, there is a lot of evidence of alien life on earth. I am not saying that i believe in all of that evidence. There will always be evidence that is false or created just for attention or publicity. But if there is so much evidence, how much of it can be wrong? I mean, some of it has to be actual evidence of alien existence right? Thats why i believe they do indeed exist.

I believe they exist to a certain extent however. I do not think that they live among us. Some people seem to think that alien lifeforms from other planets have blended in with our society. Personality i do not think that is the case. I believe that aliens are more likely to visit our planet rather than to stay. You never, know though, i could be wrong. That is just what i think.

  5. David Lai on Feb 24, 2013 at 4:50 pm

Wow! I can’t believe I missed this blog article before. It is incredibly compelling evidence of the existence of alien lifeforms. I am sure and I have read some of the theories presented here before. I used remember reading about the theory of the moon as a giant alien spaceship.

I am very excited about this and from where I read, they didn’t give the compelling evidence that the moon is denser on the surface than it is in the core. That means it must be hollow and I what lies underneath the surface of the moon? Perhaps a whole city of alien life form. I just wonder where did they acquire the source of power to provide the energy to power the huge moon. Perhaps the Kingdom of Shambala resides with the moon itself. According to the description, Shambala is within a ring of mountains. Perhaps, the ring of mountains surrounding Shamgbala is actually the surface of the moon. Just a thought or perhaps, they are just aliens inside that huge ship

  6. Lucas Roth on Jan 12, 2013 at 6:24 pm

well honestly i think aliens are real, i mean if it was just us it would be a waste of space. all these points are very interesting and maybe there is some things that the government is keeping from us. we do not know but they may be real.

  7. jivko on Dec 6, 2012 at 3:59 pm

Rinpoche, this is a nice way to direct and open the minds of people to the subject. I can imagine the reaction if you told us all you know 🙂

  8. Ethan Chu on Sep 17, 2011 at 5:00 am

The first time when I saw the image of alien, i was freaked out how freaky they look and they are not as adorable as E.T after all. Alien the movie in the late 70’s with alien icon Sigourney Weaver completely blown me away! Later more movies like Independence day came out then I began to realize us human kind portray aliens as enemy or some bad beings… That is how they led us into thinking they will harm us.

Later, when I got to know Buddhism. It has given me an answer to the question I was searching for. It is possible to have another being living on the other part of the universal. They just come in different form, more technological advance than us, that’s all. They are just like us. This is what i like about Buddhism, it’s all about acceptance of all beings… This make me not so afraid of aliens anymore.

  9. Jerry on Jul 17, 2011 at 1:30 am

‎Talmud Jmmanuel…’Billy’ Meier case who was said to had been telepathically contacted by human race Pleiadian from other planet. A bit unbelievable and outrageous but the message passed down have resemblance to same teaching as Buddhism on karma…i.e. taking responsibility for your actions and spiritual evolution, and the many dimensional beings of different spiritual evolution. The photos look like hoax though.

Visiting Tibet, holy Gaden Monastery is everyone dream and a once life time. Of course if we have the means to visit again will be great. End of December 2008 and early January 2009 our Guru H E Tsem Rinpoche with a small group students visited Tibet. Thousands of pilgrims, visitors and tourists around the world have visited this incredible holy land for the last 600 years. Tsem Rinpoche visited Tibet for the first time with an oxygen tank. I am fortunate to visit this holy place with my Dharma brothers and sisters years back.
With our Guru blessing we went without any without any hitch. Visited most of the monasteries and could feel the powerful energies there. Looking at those pictures in this blog reminds me of trip there.

Interesting….. a ground breaking documentary by world BBC where everyone should watch. BBC did mentioned and documented that Jesus was a Buddhist monk and that he had spent some years in India. I would not know about this till I came across this blog. Many people most probably too. Interesting watch one should not miss. Jesus was a religious leader revered in Christianity, one of the world’s major religions. He is regarded by most Christians as the Incarnation of God. Historical evidence indicates that Jesus was well acquainted with Buddhism. Historical evidence indicates that Jesus knew about Buddhism. Other evidence, while perhaps apocryphal, indicates that he spent most of his so-called lost years outside Judea, possibly in Kashmir to study Buddhism exclusively.

The Great Buddhas of Bamiyan were two monumental Buddhist statues built around 600 CE. A holy site for Buddhists on the Silk Road, historically a caravan route linking the markets of China with those of the Western world. The two most prominent statues were the giant standing sculptures of the Buddhas .It was the site of several Buddhist monasteries where monks at the monasteries lived as hermits. It was until in 2001, both statues were destroyed by the Taliban . Before being blown up in 2001, they were the largest examples of standing Buddha carvings in the world .Buddhism was eliminated in Afghanistan by the 13th century during the Mongol conquests. Sadly all statues depicting humans in Afghanistan was destroyed. They were perhaps the most famous cultural landmarks of the region, and the site was listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Despite the Buddhas’s destruction, the ruins continue to be a popular culture landmark, where many locals, pilgrims and tourist visit the site.

Ven. Kyabje Yongyal Rinpoche was born in Eastern Tibet, recognized as the fourth reincarnation of Kyabje Yongyal Rinpoche. Well he was known for his purity in holding his vinaya vows. Even though he left Tibet in 1959 and settled in India, he had inspired, and supported the Sangha community, working tirelessly giving teachings at Sera Monastery in India . He also continued in protecting, preserving and propagating the Buddhadharma all over the world. H E Tsem Rinpoche first met him about 15 years in Sera Monastery and the last time in Gaden Monastery. Kyabje Yongyal Rinpoche knew that Tsem Rinpoche in New York back in 2013 and decided to meet up with Rinpoche. Looking at those beautiful photos tells all . Its truly rejoiced moment .

The general preliminaries are the four contemplations on precious human body, impermanence and death, cause and effect of karma, and the defects of samsara. The special preliminaries are taking refuge, arousing bodhicitta, the recitation and meditation of Vajrasattva, mandala offerings, and guru yoga. The purpose of life is to benefit other sentient beings and the greatest benefit we can offer them is to liberate them from their suffering and its causes. We have to purify all the negative karma and defilements we have collected over our beginning-less rebirths and accumulate extensive merit. These are the conditions necessary for us to actualize the path. Well we have received just this once the most precious human life ,we have to make our life as meaningful as possible. The purpose of doing preliminary practices is for us to purify obstacles to achieving realizations of the path to enlightenment for the sake of all sentient beings. I am still doing my best .
Great sharing thank you Rinpoche and Pastor David for this important write up .

The Heart Sutra teaches emptiness through the epitome of compassion. It is often said that, the heart of emptiness is compassion. It’s an attribute by which we sees the suffering of another and experiences true empathy for them. This empathy, in turn, leads the person to reach out and share in the person’s suffering. By helping them to endure whatever they are going through regardless of race and religion. Our prime purpose in this life is to help and benefit others. Well if we can’t help them, at least don’t hurt them. Treat others as we would like others to treat us. Always wish upon others and showing kindness to those who are feeling sad or upset to help them feel better. Lend a shoulder to them to lean on. Emptiness can be explored through meditation and contemplation. By observing the impermanence and interdependence of all things, we can gradually come to understand the true nature of reality. We have to understand the actual words of the Heart Sutra and its meaning within the Buddhist tradition as well as the meanings of emptiness. Will revisit this blog to read, learn more .
Thank you Rinpoche for this profound teachings.

The concept of Dharma is considered to be accessible and applicable to everyone, regardless of their religious background. Dharma, in its essence, is about understanding and living in accordance with universal principles of righteousness and ethical conduct. The core of the doctrine of dharma, especially in Buddhism, is about understanding the nature of suffering, the cause of suffering, the possibility of ending suffering, and the path to liberation through ethical conduct, mindfulness, and wisdom. Dharma is the essential teachings to transform our mind towards that of an enlightened being. Learning and putting what we learn into practice helped us to become a better person. Dharma is for everyone, reading those stories as in the blog give us a clear understanding. Nor matter what religion we are , we are taught to be loving, compassion and living peacefully.
Thank you Rinpoche for these great teachings.

Generosity is giving more than we can, and pride is taking less than we need. Giving is an action; generosity is a matter of the heart. Real generosity toward the future lies in giving all to the present. Sharing one’s resources and helping others in need. We have not lived today until we have done something for someone who can never repay you. A kind gesture can reach a wound that only compassion can heal.

n Buddhism, Dharma refers to the teachings of the Buddha and the true nature of reality. It also encompasses principles like the Eightfold Path, which guides individuals towards enlightenment and liberation from suffering. A Dharma attitude involves fulfilling one’s responsibilities and duties towards oneself, others, and the environment. Dharma work helps us to focus on benefiting others instead of ourselves. Each one of us has different ideas, approaches and methods to do dharma work. As long as its benefits others and

Buddhism is one of the most ancient belief systems and is practiced today by nearly 350 million people around the world.
Bettany Mary Hughes is an English historian, author, and broadcaster, specialising in classical history. Bettany Hughes travelled to the seven wonders of the Buddhist world. Where she documented a unique insight into the seven wonders that explained the long and rich history of Buddhism 2500 years ago . Truly fascinating documentary that’s one should watch. Started off her journey with Bodh Gaya in India, the Bodanath Stupa in Nepal, the Temple of The Tooth in Sri Lanka, Wat Pho Temple in Thailand, Angkor Wat in Cambodia, the Giant Buddha in Hong Kong and the Hsi Lai Temple in the United States. At each location, she meets with Buddhist scholars who explain the different concepts that form the core of Buddhist philosophy, giving insight into the long and rich history of Buddhism. Interesting sharing.
    Thank you Rinpoche.

Religious discrimination remains a significant issue globally, impacting various aspects of life. The Dorje Shugden controversy in Tibetan Buddhism involves accusations of religious discrimination against devotees of the Poweful Dharma Protector Dorje Shugden. Dorje Shugden was a powerful Protector associated with the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism. H H the Dalai Lama previously practice Dorje Shugden’s practice but somehow later discouraged the practice, citing concerns about sectarianism ,its perceived role as a spirit. Dorje Shugden’s practitioners have reported feeling ostracized and discriminated against by the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) and those supporting the Dalai Lama. The controversy has divided the Tibetan community and has been a source of contention and tension. CTA had breached the rights of every Dorje Shugden practitioners to what they pray . Many families are torn apart by this. Dorje Shugden people had to break away from their monasteries .Religious freedom and human rights are interconnected. Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion regardless of race and faith. Religious freedom is one of the most fundamental of human rights. The discrimination that Dorje Shugden practitioners are experiencing today has similarities to other historic bigotry and prejudices such example was the African American Civil Rights Movement in the 1960s,and the Women’s Suffrage Movement. Racism affects virtually every country in the world. It denies people their full human rights just because of their colour, race, ethnicity, descent or national origin. The most prevalent discrimination that we see today are national origin and race discrimination. May there be peace, unity, harmony and based on compassion, acceptance and universal freedom of religious choice without discrimination or recriminations of any kind.
Thank you Rinpoche for this sharing.

The Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Kerala, India is said to be thousands of years old, built in the Dravidian style, and houses more secrets than most people can ever dream of. That’s interesting. This temple is a legendary secret chamber that has remained unopened for centuries. Legends and local beliefs it is protected by powerful deities and a curse. The door is said to be sealed with a mystical spell, and it is believed that anyone attempting to open it without proper rituals will face grave consequences, having met with mysterious deaths or terrible misfortune. Locals had warns that attempting to open Vault B without proper rituals and respect for the deities could unleash untold calamities and misfortune. Stories abound of previous attempts to open the vault had failed that resulted in terrifying visions and other supernatural occurrences, and tragic fates for those involved. Some believe that the vault contained ancient treasures , wealth and divine relics . Previously temple workers reportedly tried to force open the door, resulting in the terrifying experiences described in legends. It’s not just a place of worship but also a vault of mysteries. Modern attempts using technology have also failed to open the door, as if some force is protecting it. Every attempt to open Vault B has failed. The door remains closed, and no one know of the contents within, whether wealth, divine relics, or something else entirely, are unknown to the world . No one dare to try opening it since at least the 1880s recording to reports. Interesting article .
Thank you Rinpoche for this sharing.

Revisit this interesting truth where not many people knew the actual story behind . With great effort and research finally the story unfolded. In Tibet, Oracles play, an important part in principal roles assisting governmental decision-making and providing intelligence revelation, religion, doctrine, and prophecy. To this day the Tibetan government still believe and rely in Nechung Oracle. When Nechung oracle took trance, it is actually spirit Nyatrul who has causes problems and misprophecies. Nechung is bound by oath to protect the Dharma. Nechung prophecies are unreliable, most probably given by Nyatrul spirit to the Tibetan government. Such as wrong medication given to the 13 th Dalai Lama as prescribed by the Nechung Oracle. Another misprophecies was during the British invasion. If it was really Nechung who took trance of the Oracle, these types of misprophecies would not have happen. As mentioned in the 6th Dalai Lama biography, we cannot trust or rely on Nechung’s prophecies. It was said that Nyatrul not Nechung who created the problems and harm to Dorje Shugden . It must have told HH the Dalai Lama to ban Dorje Shugden .
Thank you Rinpoche and Pastor Jean Ai for this interesting article.

The Unknown

The Known and unknown are both feared,
Known is being comfortable and stagnant,
The unknown may be growth and opportunities,
One shall never know if one fears the unknown more than the known.
Who says the unknown would be worse than the known?
But then again, the unknown is sometimes worse than the known. In the end nothing is known unless we endeavour,
So go pursue all the way with the unknown,
because all unknown with familiarity becomes the known.
~Tsem Rinpoche

What the meat industry figured out is that you don't need healthy animals to make a profit.
Sick animals are more profitable... farms calculate how close to death they can keep animals without killing them. That's the business model. How quickly they can be made to grow, how tightly they can be packed, how much or how little can they eat, how sick they can get without dying... We live in a world in which it's conventional to treat an animal like a block of wood. ~ Jonathan Safran Foer
