Are angels ancient aliens??
Many of us believe in angels. 70% of Americans, believe in the existence of angels… 55% of Americans believe in guardian angels. It is said that every day, one person has visitations of an angel.”

Where did this idea of angels come from?
It was in the First Book of Moses, called Genesis, where it was written how angels were sent to Earth as messengers of God. There are also many references of winged humans who were physically present within the Latin, Babylonian, Middle Eastern, Greek and Egyptian civilizations. These were carved into stone, written within scriptures and painted on the interior walls of buildings.
Within those who are familiar with the subject of angels such as folklorists, historians, professors of archaeology, physicists and many other academics, many agree that the word ‘angel’ was actually misinterpreted. It was from the Hebrew word, mal’akh (מלאך) that the word ‘angel’ was translated to English. However, mal’akh actually means messenger. In Greek, the word ‘angel’ translates to Angelos which also means messenger.
Therefore in both Hebrew and Greek origins, the word for “angel” originally meant messenger, middle man or intermediary. The definition of their “job” was to pass information down from the Heavens… messages from God or the Gods above. This meant that it was understood that their existence was other-worldly, that they’re not from this world or this planet.

The existence of angels has been discussed for centuries in legendary, philosophical, and religious writings. Do they exist ?? Well it remain something of a mystery. To me angels truly exist as a spiritual beings and have been revealed to us, mostly to increase one’s faith. Angels act as an ambassadors and messengers of some sort. Those days I used to think angels appeared in the Christmas story that belong to a unique part of creation. Many Christians have reported experiences that they have had encounters with them. Watching this video, tells us more they the angels are most likely ancient aliens.

Aftar watching the video, I believe that angels are messenger and perhaps alien as well.
Interesting article……as I used to think that angel are associated with the Christian faith. As I see pictures of angels always adorned in white and in the light. There also appeared in the holy scriptures and graphics on walls of ancient buildings. After reading this article I concluded that I believe aliens and angels do exist as be extra-terrestrials who may be beings from different realms. In Buddhism, there are some other forms of life existing in other parts of the universe.

I have heard about angels since very young. In my mind, angels are always very beautiful, or cute with wings. I have never thought that they could be Extra-Terrestrial. After watching this video, I think, it is possible that angels are ancient aliens.
Angels might be more powerful, good looking and with special skills cos they maybe beings in higher realms like demi-God or God.
It doesn’t matter they are being called as angels, ET or aliens, they are still beings in the 6 realms. This is because angels also commit sinned, they still have desired, that is why we have fallen angels.
We need to practice dharma till we achieve enlightenment. To be borned in higher realms like Demi-God or God are not our objective, we need to be out of samsara, out of the 6 realms. Human life is the most precious one for us to practice. We need to make full use of our human life.
Thank you Rinpoche for sharing this article. I personally do not believe there are angels around. If there really is, then perhaps the angels might be some deities or bodhisattvas who come and assist the human beings on earth.

There are tons of beings that are recorded by human beings by hands for centuries.
At this current era, human beings have invented advanced technology and explored far more and deep about the world compared to our ancestors. Hence, it’s understandable that we could think we are more advanced and smarter.
But this is not what I think so, the earth are more than what we can ever completely explore. There are things that are happening regardless of science and most of them have not scientific proven.
We should never place ourselves too high, in anither words, being ego. We should always learn from our and also other people’s experiences. We do not want to step on the same nail that has been stepped for times to know that it’s dangerous.
After reading through this article,i get better understanding about angle. Since young,I always fascinated about angle is like the guardian to protect you. Growing up in Chinese family,i only hear and see statue about Taoist Thunder God,who had wing can fly.Others deity like dakini will represent high level of god realm to pass the message to the people. This dakini are just the messenger from the god which match other religion has describable about this being,instate call them aliens. According to the lord Buddha,this beings are existing in 6 realm.It just human are no have direct connection to contact them. But human did witness to see angle did applier to them time to time in very rare odd cation.
Aliens are the name given for the beings that human doesn’t know, they could be just another living beings from another planet or another universe. What we know now are very limited and there are so much more we have not discover yet in this universe, needless to say about another universe. To us, they are aliens, same goes to them, we are alien too.
I believe Angels exist too, just like Taoist God, they probably are the same but only appeared differently in different places. As Buddha mentioned about 6 realms beings, any beings are possible to be appeared.
Thank you Rinpoche for sharing this video. This is a very interesting topic indeed. I think, when there’s god, there must be angels. Just like Buddha, there are Bodhisattvas, Protectors, Mahasidhas, Dakas and Dakinis. But in Christianity, they don’t call them Bodhisattva and Protectors, so they classify all of them as angels. I agree that during the ancient time, people drew the men with wings indicated that they can fly. Angels may not have wings. But they can fly. Just like lord Buddha and the Bodhisattvas, they don’t have the limitation of time and space, and they can appear in human form, but they have the ability to travel through time and space. I remember I read an article about the guardian angel Gabriel before, he was described as no gender, he had a female and very gender kind of look, and sometimes he appear as female, sometimes he appear as male. This is just like Guan Yin. Now, I am a Buddhist, sometimes I think that Gabriel could be Guan Yin, just appear in different form. I remember in one of the previous Rinpoche’s video, Rinpoche said that Jesus and Buddha could be good friend. Thus, I think angels could be Bodhisattvas, Protectors, Dakas & Dakinis or some are maybe Mahasidhas. I think they all are the same. Thank you Rinpoche. 🙂 _/\_
Angels are very present in different cultures like Christianity, mythology, New Age… I believe that angels exist. Where do they come from? Fallen angels, extra-terrestrials, ultra-terrestrials, yes I think they are aliens coming to earth.
We are very fortunate to know about these beings and the 6 realms through Dharma. Buddhism inspires us to learn and investigate more. We should always stay curious.

From my point of view, I think that aliens do exist in this world. There are many scientific proven of their existence like discovering of their bodies,UFO and I think mermaids are aliens too. If there no strong evidence, people will never bring this issue out for entertainment production.
As for angels, I think their existence merely from legends or strong believers.
In ancient times, peoples believe that angel comes from outside the earth, but they were not called aliens, they were called angels.
According to Buddhism, there are some other forms of life existing in other parts of the universe. The Buddha has mentioned that there are thirty-one planes of existence within the universes. They are:
• 4 States of unhappiness or sub human realms: (life in hells, animal life, ghost-worlds and demon-worlds)
• 1 Human world.
• 6 Develokas or heavenly realms.
• 16 Rupalokas or Realms of Fine-Material Forms.
• 4 Arupalokas or Formless Realms.
The above shown that the teaching of the Buddha goes beyond the discoveries of modern science and, therefore I believe angel or alien may be from one of the 31 planes of existence.
Aliens, Angels, Nagas, Gods, Buddhas and Spirits exist? At my point of view, it’s existed. I can’t see, listen and even feel them exist ( Aliens, Angels, Nagas, Gods, Buddhas and Spirits ), how about we turn these points to a logic ways? A person tell me that, oh.. ZZZ house is haunted ( i do not believe it ), then another person told me the same thing ” ZZZ house is haunted “, the 3rd and 4th person are telling the same ” ZZZ house is haunted “, then i’ll believe it.
And i definitely wanted to find out the truth, from Google or from that person, mostly of my cases are from customers. Let’s put it this way, without KP outlets, i won’t be able to know more in my life, and i learned a lot from KP outlets.

I think angels are aliens (extraterrestrials), who in turn may be considered supernatural beings. The drawings etched on stone walls, caves and ancient structures all over the world closely resemble those beings depicted in Hinduism and Tibetan Buddhism. Like some of those winged angels, half human torso with animal head, some brandishing sword or weapon. And it was said they have the power of swift flight or maybe it was the incredible speed of time travel that is like speed of thought. Very interesting article. Personally I believe in the existence of aliens and for angels they may be beings from different realms. Whether they are the messagers like how it was mentioned in the video I’m not sure but since there are so many recorded evident from various places even since the ancient time about the existence of angels I belive they exist. The universe is so big and no surprise if they are some other beings exist in a different form.
What important is that we keep an open mind and respect each other’s. We are not alone and there are many things out there that we may not have seen and doesn’t mean they don’t exist.

Are angels indeed aliens? Personally, I believe that aliens exist. I don’t believe that angels exist.
I always believe that there are other life forms out there. And Buddha confirmed it by saying that there are other beings out there in the massive universe and earth is just a tiny speck.
And it could be possible that the ancient people described the aliens as angels as they could ‘fly’ with their ships. And if those beings can be so advanced at that time, who knows what other technology enhancement they have. And maybe that’s why their ‘offsprings’ were also described as ‘giants’ which could also mean strong as masculine.
Curious though… If they indeed had offsprings, where are they now? Could it be after centuries, they look more like us now?
What an interesting documentary of Angels being actually aliens. In Buddhism we learned of many existence and so it is quite possible that other forms of life came to earth. Our Buddha Tara was from another planet and came to earth to help us out of our ignorance. So I wonder if those Messengers could have been the Dakas since most times when mentioned were males. The story where Peter was released by an Angel could actually be an attained being able to manipulate elements to release Peter. I think that the wings depictions are symbolic that these Angels are free from being earthbound and are able to lift themselves into the skies. Their mention of the final great battle between the Angels and the fallen sounds ominous.

Hmmm. I was watching the other documentary by Dr Francesca, the biblical scholar who narrated the documentary of Did God have a wife? and Dr Francesca said that the belief in the pantheon of Canaanite Gods probably survive into modern day Christian belief in angels.
These were formerly Gods and Goddesses in their own right and were stripped of their powers by the ancient scribes during the tumultuous time of the Babylonian invasions. This is probably an attempt to hold onto their religious power in the face of the humiliating defeat to the Babylonians. Their impotent Gods cast out and the only God El was enthrone as the only God. Interesting theory though….
What an interesting documentary. I like the genie in the bottle the most. The thought of aliens using holograms to deliver messages and ancient people call them genie in the bottle makes a lot of sense. I thought it’s a cartoon made in the USA. Didn’t realise that it’s a folklore from the middle east.
I wonder when the fallen angels will fight with the angels again as mentioned. All this is part of samsara. If this theory is proven to be true, then all God based religions will have to be reassessed. This will even be more interesting! Coz merely accepting God will not bring the followers to salvation!
Truly an interesting topic. If they are translated as messengers then they could be aliens. That could be possible… Or perhaps dakas or dakinis? Well, like Buddha said, there are many ‘earths’ out there just like our earth and also practicing Buddhism. Maybe they are more advanced than us and decided to come visit? Hmmm…
Could Buddha (Lord Varjadhara) be an alien since he’s depicted as having blue skin??
