H.E. Tsem Rinpoche and his guru Kensur Rinpoche Jampa Yeshe feeding pigeons in Bambay, India, while Kensur Rinpoche was there getting medical treatment which was arranged by Tsem Rinpoche.

H.E. Tsem Rinpoche being put on a throne and made offerings to by Gaden Shartse Monastery when Rinpoche visited in recent years. 当詹杜固仁波切回到甘丹寺时,寺院都为他供养法座

H.E. Tsem Rinpoche was recognized as a reincarned high lama in 1990 in Gaden Monastery. However, in the Gelug lineage, even if you are a reincarnation, you still need to prove yourself in this lifetime with your knowledge, practice, and guru devotion.

Kensur Rinpoche Jampa Yeshe was a great lama and one of the gurus of Tsem Rinpoche, and Kensur Rinpoche was also the ex-abbot of Gaden Shartse Monastery, but his health back then was always not very good. Tsem Rinpoche invited Kensur Rinpoche to stay in Tsem Rinpoche’s ladrang in Gaden Monastery, and Tsem Rinpoche went all the way to take care of Kensur Rinpoche, from arranging Kensur Rinpoche’s daily necessities, to bringing Kensur Rinpoche to various places in India to seek medical advice and treatments for Kensur Rinpoche’s illness. And after that Tsem Rinpoche followed up with the doctors diligently and made sure that Kensur Rinpoche took the medications regularly and had the proper diet for the illness, Tsem Rinpoche did that every single day without fail, until Kensur Rinpoche healed completely.

Soon, news spread on how Kensur Rinpoche had healed from the illness that he had been having for years, and the whole monastery of thousands of monks were very grateful and appreciative towards Tsem Rinpoche for healing their great teacher Kensur Rinpoche. That is why until now whenever Tsem Rinpoche returns to the monastery, the monastery always offers Tsem Rinpoche the throne, to recognize Rinpoche’s quality as he has again proven in this lifetime to be a great incarnation, which is clearly shown in his guru devotion towards Kensur Rinpoche.

Tsem Rinpoche was especially well-known among the monastic community for his great guru devotion towards Kensur Rinpoche

Rinpoche’s compassionate quality had shown how devoted he was in his guru devotion towards Kensur Rinpoche. Kensur Rinpoche Jampa Yeshe was a renowned Dharma scholar and highly realised meditation master and one of the gurus of Tsem Rinpoche. Kensur Rinpoche was also the ex-abbot of Gaden Shartse Monastery. What Rinpoche did had proven in this lifetime to be a great incarnation. Rinpoche went all the way out taking care of Kensur Rinpoche, from arranging all the daily necessities and bringing Kensur Rinpoche to seek medical advice and treatments. Rinpoche’s guru devotion as an example for us.
Thank you Pastor Seng Piow for this wonderful sharing some inspiring knowledge for us.

Being devoted to a Guru is not a fanatical action. It’s just like a child being filial to his or her parents. How about someone who imparts some thing even more precious like Dharma? We should even do more, have faith and care more for this person as we are going to receive something very holy and precious ~ Dharma!

Even when we go to the doctor, we will surely listen attentively without much fuss and debate because we surrender to their professionalism and opinion which we are lack off, right? And how about someone who present Dharma to us, in this case our Guru? Why when comes to Guru Devotion, people will start to debate and argue?

Thank you Pastor Seng Piow for letting us know how Rinpoche being devoted to His teacher and the care that He poured out in taking care of His teacher. This will encourage us to do the same , or at least having faith in Him.

Love this story of Rinpoche’s incredible guru devotion to his gurus too. Without the guru there is no hope in a hopeless existence. As they say the guru is buddha, yidam, protector, and epitome of sangha. May we learn from him and be like him. Incredible incredible.

  6. sandra on Mar 26, 2015 at 8:49 pm

Buddha is complete and whole. No need for anything else. What it must be like inside a bodhisattva’s mind but we have seen plenty of examples of Rinpoche in generous action throughout this blog. So thank you to his attendants and team for putting this blog up and maintaining social media pages even though its not easy for you. But people far from buddhas and buddhahood only have this portal to be inspired from and to learn from and to reflect from. Your work is faultless and priceless. Thank you.

Thanks Seng Piow for sharing this article with us.

Rinpoche show us the Real 100% Guru Devotion and 100% clean Guru Samaya hence Rinpoche always compassion and care for all students. We are so grateful for having a True Bodhisattva Guru.

May all students and Kecharians able to lesser down our ignorance and gain more Merits through practices and clean Guru Samaya hence to succeed all Rinpoche projects like what Rinpoche did according to Rinpoche Guru…

I have been following Rinpoche for around 20 years and I have witnessed how Rinpoche devout to his gurus. Rinpoche’s guru devotion is so perfect and exemplary.

  11. Nancy ng on Sep 27, 2013 at 2:27 pm

Rinpoche has shown us a very high standard of Guru Devotion. It will not be easy to emulate but with dedication and the right motivation, it is achievable.People in today’s day and age is vulnerable to distractions, hence consistency is key to sustained spiritual practice.

  12. Wan Wai Meng on Sep 27, 2013 at 8:48 am

Through Rinpoche faith and devotion and effort he was able to heal his guru. Rinpoche’s compassion is boundless.

  13. Cliff on Sep 25, 2013 at 2:10 am

Rinpoche has always explained to us the many ways of how Guru Devotion can be so powerful and has always encouraged us to recite the 50 verses of guru devotion. Because of His Eminence Tsem Tulku Rinpoche hard effort, love, care and guru devotion Kensur Rinpoche Jampa Yeshe was able to fully recover. Guru Devotion is not worshiping the Guru but more of respecting the Dharma teachings which the Guru teaches you which is so valuable. It is also a way of purifying your karma and gaining merits by taking care of your Guru or even to just be close to your Guru. Thank you for sharing this post Rinpoche. I hope Rinpoche’s health is well.

  14. June Tang(KHJB) on Sep 23, 2013 at 6:58 pm

Thank you Seng Piow for sharing this post. Rinpoche always lead by example, Rinpoche’s love, compassion and care not only shown to his Guru, and also towards his students. We are so fortunate to have Rinpoche in Kechara, we should follow his step to serve Our Guru in that way !!

  15. henry ooi on Sep 23, 2013 at 1:28 pm

Rinpoche’s guru devotion is so steadfast and deep that often he would shed tears of gratitude and joy when Rinpoche mentioned his Gurus’ names. And tears of missing these great Lamas who had done so much for dharma.

  16. wansan on Sep 20, 2013 at 5:19 pm

Rinpoche’s strong guru devotion is indeed undeniable. Taking care of His guru’s everyday needs and also medical checkups are indeed a lot of work but Rinpoche never ever once complained about it. How many of us can do that?
Some of us even have hard time taking care of our own parents..
Rinpoche shows a really good example of being a strong and devoted student to His guru and that’s what we all should do.

  17. tenzin llhamo on Sep 19, 2013 at 4:50 pm

Rinpoche’s care, love, compassion and kindness are never ending! Through His perseverance and effort, Kensur Rinpoche became well, free from his illness. And the best part is that nobody asked Rinpoche to do so. Rinpoche willingly, out of deep love and respect, took care of Kensur Rinpoche. Thank you for sharing such beautiful posts of Rinpoche always.

  18. Beatrix Ooi on Sep 19, 2013 at 3:17 am

Thank You for sharing the article Seng Piow! Guru devotion is definitely something very important in a teacher-disciple relationship, if you have very strong guru devotion, it shows that you really do care, appreciate and trust the guru and therefore you will have very strong connection with the guru.

  19. David Lai on Sep 18, 2013 at 6:36 pm

One thing rinpoche always did was to be consistent in whatever he did. Rinpoche had always had Dharma as a priority. Therefore, Rinpoche would always be respectful and would devote all of his body, speech and mind to his Gurus. He shows by example that one not only have devotion but always try to maintain excellent thoughts about his Gurus no matter what has been expressed.

People have told him nasty rumours and his Gurus had been fierce with him and even scolded him but he had never wavered from having pure thoughts of his Gurus. This is something we as Kecharians should all learn. We have checked out Rinpoche and has felt that his history and his teachings benefitted us tremendously and therefore have understood his motivation. Since we understood that, we should remain steadfast and not be swayed by anything else. We learn it through Rinpoche’s own experience. Many of Rinpoche’s Gurus are living Bodhisattvas and attained beings. They must see Rinpoche’s potential and motivation and have accepted them. Therefore, we must too.

  20. Pastor Yek Yee on Sep 18, 2013 at 5:33 pm

Tsem Tulku Rinpoche always showed his students how to respect the sangha member and Rinpoche always showed his action how Rinpoche take care his own Guru. The past five years, many things had changed, many people come and go, however, I noticed that Tsem Rinpoche still take care of his Guru very well and completely devoted what he had promised to his Gurus. That is one of the good quality inspired me always and respect H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche so much.

    May Tsem Rinpoche live long.
May all harmful negative energy and,
may all obstacles will be dispel.

There are many incredibly good traits that Rinpoche has and one of them that is undeniable is Rinpoche’s immense Guru devotion. It is this fortitude and strength that is ingrained in Rinpoche, which has enabled us Malaysians to be fortunate enough that Rinpoche calls Malaysia home now! Rejoice!

    Kechara’s Board of Directors, 2013 (PART 2 of 2)
After watching this teaching, I found that I have made a lot of mistakes choices. The 1st is I am not good enough in supporting Kechara like always makes shopping in Kechara Paradise. Now I realized that I am totally wrong in wanted to become a monk in FGS and fortunately I have not become a monk and I will not going to be in FGS. Like Rinpoche have been mentioned in this teaching, how can we supporting Nokia branded items but we actually hired and works in a Samsung branded company. That‘s not logical and I will stop all the mistaken actions and completely dedicated myself to my own center- Kechara. After I finished all the courses in FGS. I will immediately back to my own mother center who had been nurtured me for many years and put much effort on me that helps me grow a lot. I will dedicate to Kechara in many ways that I am able to help center growth. I still remembered the 1st so called promised to Rinpoche was to help Rinpoche in now and in the future. So I hope Rinpoche will forgive all the past stupid and not logical actions or promised I had done to Rinpoche and Kechara. Now I only have one firmed promised to Rinpoche is that in the future I want to work for Kechara too! Not any other organization but only for Kechara. Okay, that is all I wanted to confessed and keep on improving and growing. Start from today until at the end of my life, only focused on dedicate for Kechara, on practicing Tsongkhapa Guru Yoga, Setrap and Manjushri only, on Rinpoche personal’s advice and teachings and so forth. Not too much, but I am trying to be focused on one that may change my whole life. Thank you and wish Rinpoche longevity and keep on guiding us until all of us achieve enlightenment!

Thank you Rinpoche to let us know how important of guru devotion.
Rinpoche is a good example for us to follow.

Tsem Rinpoche’s great guru devotion is well known in Gaden Monestery. Rinpoche has keep his promise to root guru Zong Rinpoche to be a monk in India. Rinpoche even came to Malaysia to teach to obey his guru instruction to benefit more people here. Though Rinpoche wants to stay in India to for retreat and serve his guru…

  25. Pastor Han Nee on Sep 17, 2013 at 3:56 pm

Relying on the Spiritual Guide IS the foundation of the graduated Path to full Enlightenment(see the Lamrim). In the ’50 stanzas of Guru Devotion’, it is stated that we will not gain any realization without the Guru. It is through practicing Guru Devotion, through serving our Guru faithfully and consistently, that we will finally realize selflessness, and selflessness is the way to true peace and happiness.

Tsem Rinpoche practices faultless Guru Devotion, be it to his root Guru, Zong Rinpoche , or to any one of his 15 gurus , including Kensur Rinpoche Jampa Yeshe in Gaden Shartse Monastery in India. He is the walking embodiment of the 50 stanzas. He shows by example to all of us, his students, how we should devote ourselves to our Gurus.

Just visualizing Tsem Rinpoche’s care of Kensur Rinpoche on a daily basis, one can see Guru devotion in operation as one’s daily practice of the Dharma.

The fruit of Tsem Rinpoche’s vigilant and thoroughly care of Kensur Rinpoche was that Kensur Rinpoche was amazingly healed of his sickness which had plagued him for years.

  26. KYC on Sep 17, 2013 at 2:59 pm

In the Kechara Staff Dharma class today, 17 students shared about their feelings and thoughts about how H.E. Tsem Rinpoche’s acts of guru devotion have influenced or impacted them. Rinpoche’s guru devotion is exemplary and is found in the behaviour of many great Tibetan lamas. Tsem Rinpoche’s devotion to his gurus is a Dharma teaching in itself.

  27. So Kin Hoe (Ipoh) on Sep 16, 2013 at 11:26 pm

Thank you very much for sharing the great guru devotion as shown by Tsem Rinpoche towards his guru Kensur Rinpoche Jampa Yeshe. Rinpoche has proven and lead by example for us that no matter how important and busy with our daily chores, guru devotion is always the first priority in our mind and our actions. With guru devotion, I pray for all of us to have great masters in this life and all our future life times.

  28. Niral Patel on Sep 16, 2013 at 6:50 pm

H.E. Tsem Rinpoche teaches us in more ways than one, here he teaches us through his skillful means and by setting an excellent example for others to follow. True to our tradition, Rinpoche through his actions has highlighted one of the most important points for us to remember – Guru Devotion.

Some people might rebuke the practice of devotion to the Guru but they just need to think about it logically. The refuge prayer starts with “Namo Guru Beh” as without the Guru, you may be able to learn the Dharma from scriptures but to really be able to apply it in your daily life you really need to have someone to show you how. The person that you rely on should have practiced what they preach, have trained under qualified masters themselves and be truly able to share the essence of the teachings with you. Tsem Rinpoche is such a person.

Guru devotion is not a baseless ideal but is a method for you to generate merits yourself and repay the a higher kindness that has been shown to you by your Guru – the teaching of the Dharma, which is the greatest gift of all.

  29. sockwan on Sep 16, 2013 at 6:18 pm

While Rinpoche is my Guru, he was also a student. He demonstrated to us how a spiritual student should behave and how to treat our guru. Rinpoche has achieved so much in his life and it all was because he put his 100% faith and trust on his gurus with 100% devotion.

Rinpoche is an achiever, he has founded Kechara Organisation and so many people have benefited. Rinpoche is also a happy and peaceful person, who has truly found the inner peace and happiness. I want to have inner peace and happiness too, that is why I follow the footstep of Rinpoche, he has proven to me by having faith, trust and devotion to one’s guru, I will be able to find the inner peace and happiness that I have been looking for.

  30. Sharon Saw on Sep 16, 2013 at 9:56 am

Thanks for sharing this, Seng Piow. I would just like to add that Tsem Rinpoche was not only devoted to Khensur Jampa Yeshe Rinpoche, he was very devoted to all his teachers, from Sermey Khensur Lobsang Tharchin Rinpoche in Howell, New Jersey, to Ven. Geshe Tsultim Gyeltsen in Los Angeles and of course his root Guru Zong Rinpoche. Throughout his life, Tsem Rinpoche has been very consistent in his Guru devotion and tremendous respect for his Gurus and this quality is something he is well known for at Gaden monastery. As Guru Devotion is crucial for our Dharma practice, it is a quality which we should emulate Rinpoche on. After all, it says in the very first verse of Yonten Shigyurma, or the Foundation of good qualities:

Well-realising that the root of the path,
    the foundation for every realisation,
is to properly rely on my kind Guru,
bless me to do so with great effort and devotion.

Sharon, of course you will remember Rinpoche’s guru devotion from his first Guru in Howell as you were part of the team who went to USA on the research and then documented the book “The Promise”.

May all of us, Rinpoche’s student be able to emulate this quality.

  31. Albert Ratchaga on Sep 16, 2013 at 3:28 am

As a student, Tsem Rinpoche already showed his incredible guru devotion back then in Gaden Monastery. He will do whatever and spend all his time to take care of his teacher and to fulfill whatever wish his teacher has. He will go all the way in his spiritual practice.

Rinpoche wish so much to be near to his guru at all time and stay in the monastery, but due to his promise to his guru, he willing to let go what he wanted to do and come out to teach.

As a teacher, he would spent every effort to take care of his students, regardless of what day, what time, he will never abandon his student or care lesser on his students, but in fact, the more difficult the situation, the more he cared for everyone that is around him.

Rinpoche is a walking Dharma, he embodied all good qualities of his teacher, he will make sure everything is well and smooth for his teacher so his teacher can teach with hassle free. His action and speech is all about Dharma and even when he is sick or very busy, he still teach from the result of his work. To Rinpoche, beside Dharma, he wanted nothing else.

  33. Pastor Han Nee on Sep 15, 2013 at 8:07 pm

Tsem Rinpoche’s guru devotion is exemplary. He offered his Ladrang to Kensur Jampa Yeshe, and took him to seek treatment in various places in India. He left no stone unturned to ensure that his Guru’s health problems were resolved. He was only satisfied when Kensur Rinpoche was cured.

But Rinpoche is also as caring towards his students, making sure they are cared for, whether sick or well.

Rinpoche has always led by example. There is nothing that Rinpoche speaks from the throne that Rinpoche himself has not done over and over again. The reason why Rinpoche has gain such a large following via the internet especially in the West is because of this measure of ‘compassion in motion’ as I like to coin it.

In this day and age, people are more skeptical and disillusioned to the point where mysticism just does not cut it anymore and leading by example is the way forward! Such is the humility and skillful ways of Tsem Rinpoche, my Guru!

  40. AdelineTan on Sep 14, 2013 at 3:05 pm

Yes, H E Tsem Rinpoche served his beloved late guru H E Kensur Jampa Yeshe Rinpoche very well. I have seen it with my own eyes during my stayed in Tsem Ladrang in Gaden Shartse monastery in 1993 and 1995, it was exactly what has been described and mentioned in this blog posted by Seng Piow, Tsem Rinpoche is truly devoted to His Guru. Thank you Seng Piow for sharing this article. We should follow Rinpoche’s example to serve our guru H E Tsem Rinpoche in this way.

  41. Julien Roth on Sep 14, 2013 at 12:33 pm

This is very good. Rinpoche’s effort towards Kensur Rinpoche is amazing and so compassionate. I think all of Rinpoche’s students should be this way towards their guru, to show their love and care towards Rinpoche. To love Rinpoche, and make sure Rinpoche is happy.

Thank you so much for sharing this article with us. It reminds us how powerful guru devotion can be. We should all take Rinpoche’s guru devotion as an example to the way we treat our guru. With care and respect. When a student shows guru devotion, it helps strengthen the bond between them and the absorption of Dharma is stronger.

Thank you very much for sharing this article with us.

Tsem Rinpoche is a high reincarnation lama but he never forget the kindness that he has received from his guru. He has set a very good example for us by applying the “50 Stanzas of Guru Devotion”in his daily life by treated his guru well all the time.

Hence, if we’re consider Tsem rinpoche is one of our guru, then we should treat our guru well all the time. Besides that, we should never conduct any action that show disrespectful to our guru such as belittle our guru etc.

I strongly believe, if we able to apply the “50 Stanzas of Guru Devotion” in our daily life, we’re able to advance in our spiritual and dharma practise.

Blog Chat Etiquette

These are some simple guidelines to make the blog chat room a positive, enjoyable and enlightening experience for everyone. Please note that as this is a chat room, we chat! Do not flood the chat room, or post without interacting with others.

EXPAND
Be friendly

Be Patient

Give the room a chance to answer you. Patience is a virtue. And if after awhile, people don't respond, perhaps they don't know the answer or they did not see your question. Do ask again or address someone directly. Do not be offended if people do not or are unable to respond to you.

Be Relevant

This is the blog of H.E. Tsem Rinpoche. Please respect this space. We request that all participants here are respectful of H.E. Tsem Rinpoche and his organisation, Kechara.

Be polite

Avoid the use of language or attitudes which may be offensive to others. If someone is disrespectful to you, ignore them instead of arguing with them.

Please be advised that anyone who contravenes these guidelines may be banned from the chatroom. Banning is at the complete discretion of the administrator of this blog. Should anyone wish to make an appeal or complaint about the behaviour of someone in the chatroom, please copy paste the relevant chat in an email to us at care@kechara.com and state the date and time of the respective conversation.

Du Fu (712-770 AD), also known as Tu Fu, was a prominent Chinese poet of the Tang Dynasty, often considered one of the greatest alongside Li Bai. He was a poet-historian and a poet-sage, known for his realistic depictions of human suffering and reflections on the troubled times of his era. His poems, reflecting his personal experiences and the political instability of the time, have had a lasting impact on both Chinese and Japanese literary traditions.
    Interesting read.

H H Kyabje Pabongka Dechen Nyingpo is by far one of the most popular and influential Gelug religious figures of the 20th Century. One of Phabongkha’s most important aristocratic students, Lhalu Lhacham Yangdzom Tsering relationship to her teacher and his lineage teachings goes along way .She is famously remembered for is her unwavering devotion towards her guru, HH Kyabje Pabongka Rinpoche. Yangdzom Tsering’s Shatra family were ancient sponsors and students of the Gelug tradition and had apparently been patrons of Tsongkhapa the founder of the Gelug school. The life stories of Lady Lhalu Lhacham Yangdzom as mentioned by Joona Repo is indeed inspiring. How her life struggles with tragedies, and her devotion to dorje Shugden and the Gelug tradition throughout her life.
Thank you Rinpoche for this great sharing of an inspiring lady.

Looking at these pictures remained me of my first pilgrimage to Wu Tai San. With the blessings of our guru, we able to visit Wu Tai San a significant Buddhist pilgrimage site . In fact it never did come to my mind that I am fortunate given a chance to go as I am still very new then. Upon hearing about the pilgrimage I got myself register without much thought. The history and stories of Wu Tai San has inspired me to go there. Interesting the Emperors Kangxi and Qianlong of China are closely connected to WuTai San. Wu Tai San located in Shanxi Province, China renowned as the home of Lord Manjushri the bodhisattva of wisdom, with different emanations of the bodhisattva residing on each of the five peaks. The area is dotted with over 50 temples and monasteries, many of which are historical and architecturally significant. Those temples built over 7 dynasties housing numerous Buddhist relics. Wutai Shan also offers stunning scenery, including snow-capped peaks, forests, and streams. Wu Tai San is one of the four Sacred Buddhist mountains of China, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wutai Shan was known to be a mystical and sacred site inhabited by divine spirits, accompanied by unusual events, such as miraculous light appearances at night.
We visited all the Holy sites, making offerings and doing prayers at each sites. We even have the opportunity to collect holy stones for future statue insertion or to keep on our altars. Times flies as our pilgrimage ended with so many stories to share with the rest.
Thank you Rinpoche and writes team sharing those pictures.

Padmasambhava, the Lotus-born Guru, also known as Guru Rinpoche is a legendary tantric Buddhist master who is widely revered in Tibetan Buddhism. He is seen as the second Buddha particularly within the Nyingma .He was a legendary Indian Buddhist mystic credited with introducing Vajrayana Buddhism to Tibet in the 8th century. As found in Buddhist scriptures Padmasambhava birth is often associated with legends and prophecies. Interesting…… Padmasambhava is depicted with eight manifestations, each reflecting a different aspect of his miraculous activities. Interesting article .

Milarepa Cave, situated high in the Himalayan mountain of Tibet, a sacred cave beckons pilgrims and spiritual seekers from across the globe. Milarepa Cave, a site of profound significance in Tibetan Buddhism, is merely a geological wonder. This sacred cave is also a living testament to the power of meditation and devotion. Its where an 11th-century yogi and poet who spent transformative years in solitary practice. Milarepa Cave graces Tibet’s rugged yet stunning landscapes, a region renowned for its deep spiritual heritage and breath-taking natural beauty. The cave’s importance is inseparable from a revered figure and the enduring legacy of Jetsun Milarepa a revered yogi and poet in Tibetan Buddhism. Milarepa Cave stands not just as a geological formation but as a powerful symbol of spiritual transformation and the enduring strength of Tibetan Buddhism. Reading this interesting cave had me Google for more information about this sacred cave. Numerous stories and legends surround Milarepa’s time in the cave, enhancing its mystical aura.

I wanted to take a moment to share a recent experience with you regarding my Instagram account. Unfortunately, my account was hacked, which was both frustrating and disappointing. Losing access to something that plays a significant role in my business and personal connections was incredibly stressful. What made the situation even more challenging was discovering that Meta does not have a dedicated support team to assist users facing account compromises. With so many people experiencing this issue daily, it’s alarming that their recovery process is not more accessible or efficient. After numerous failed attempts to recover my account through Meta’s standard procedures, I was fortunate enough to get in touch with a member of the Meta recovery department, @Rothsteincode on X (formerly Twitter), and via email at rothsteincode@gmail.com Their expertise and guidance were invaluable, and thanks to their assistance, I was able to regain full access to my account.
While I am incredibly grateful for their help, this experience has highlighted a major issue—Meta needs to implement better security measures and provide more reliable support for users dealing with these kinds of problems. The lack of direct customer support is unacceptable, considering how vital social media platforms have become for businesses and individuals alike.I wanted to share this with you in case you or anyone you know ever faces a similar issue. If you ever find yourself in this unfortunate situation, I highly recommend reaching out to @Rothsteincode for assistance. Hopefully, Meta will take action to improve their security policies and customer service in the near future.Thank you for taking the time to read this. Stay safe online, and let’s continue to support each other in this digital space.

A great history of a great yogi which I do enjoy reading , reading over it again and again. Jetsun Milarepa was a famous Tibetan siddha, known as a murderer when he was a young man. Who later turning to Buddhism and becoming a highly accomplished Buddhist disciple. Generally considered as one of Tibet’s most famous yogis and spiritual poets, whose teachings are known among several schools of Tibetan Buddhism. Milarepa’s story is one of struggle, anguish, resolve, and triumph all of which make him recognizably. Practicing these teachings for many years in isolated mountain retreats in caves such as caves hidden deep in the mountains of Tsum Valley. That’s where Milarepa attained enlightenment and gained fame for his incredible perseverance in practice and for his spontaneous songs of realisation. Milarepa is said to be the first to achieve the state of Vajradhara in one lifetime. That’s incredible.

H.H Kyabje Zong Rinpoche was a Gelug Lama, a sharp analyst, master of philosophical debate and a Tantric practitioner. Kyabje Zong Rinpoche was a disciple of the third Trijang Rinpoche, junior tutor of the 14th Dalai Lama. Rinpoche was known as a strong, detached and wrathful lama having impeccable knowledge of all rituals, art and science. Thousands of Westerners have received and benefited from his teachings both in the West and in India and gave many empowerments and teachings as well. Visiting Tibet, holy Gaden Monastery is everyone dream and a once life time. Of course if we have the means to visit again will be great. End of December 2008 and early January 2009 our Guru H E Tsem Rinpoche with a small group students visited Tibet. Thousands of pilgrims, visitors and tourists around the world have visited this incredible holy land for the last 600 years. Tsem Rinpoche visited Tibet for the first time with an oxygen tank. I am fortunate to visit this holy place with my Dharma brothers and sisters years back.
With our Guru blessing we went without any without any hitch. Visited most of the monasteries and could feel the powerful energies there. Looking at those pictures in this blog reminds me of trip there.

Interesting….. a ground breaking documentary by world BBC where everyone should watch. BBC did mentioned and documented that Jesus was a Buddhist monk and that he had spent some years in India. I would not know about this till I came across this blog. Many people most probably too. Interesting watch one should not miss. Jesus was a religious leader revered in Christianity, one of the world’s major religions. He is regarded by most Christians as the Incarnation of God. Historical evidence indicates that Jesus was well acquainted with Buddhism. Historical evidence indicates that Jesus knew about Buddhism. Other evidence, while perhaps apocryphal, indicates that he spent most of his so-called lost years outside Judea, possibly in Kashmir to study Buddhism exclusively.

The Great Buddhas of Bamiyan were two monumental Buddhist statues built around 600 CE. A holy site for Buddhists on the Silk Road, historically a caravan route linking the markets of China with those of the Western world. The two most prominent statues were the giant standing sculptures of the Buddhas .It was the site of several Buddhist monasteries where monks at the monasteries lived as hermits. It was until in 2001, both statues were destroyed by the Taliban . Before being blown up in 2001, they were the largest examples of standing Buddha carvings in the world .Buddhism was eliminated in Afghanistan by the 13th century during the Mongol conquests. Sadly all statues depicting humans in Afghanistan was destroyed. They were perhaps the most famous cultural landmarks of the region, and the site was listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Despite the Buddhas’s destruction, the ruins continue to be a popular culture landmark, where many locals, pilgrims and tourist visit the site.
Thank you Rinpoche for this interesting blog.

The Unknown

The Known and unknown are both feared,
Known is being comfortable and stagnant,
The unknown may be growth and opportunities,
One shall never know if one fears the unknown more than the known.
Who says the unknown would be worse than the known?
But then again, the unknown is sometimes worse than the known. In the end nothing is known unless we endeavour,
So go pursue all the way with the unknown,
because all unknown with familiarity becomes the known.
~Tsem Rinpoche

Find one of the most beautiful temples in the world in Nara, Japan. It is the 1,267 year old Todai-ji temple that houses a 15 meter Buddha Vairocana statue who is a cosmic and timeless Buddha. Emperor Shomu who sponsored this beautiful temple eventually abdicated and ordained as a Buddhist monk. Very interesting history and story. What the meat industry figured out is that you don't need healthy animals to make a profit.
Sick animals are more profitable... farms calculate how close to death they can keep animals without killing them. That's the business model. How quickly they can be made to grow, how tightly they can be packed, how much or how little can they eat, how sick they can get without dying... We live in a world in which it's conventional to treat an animal like a block of wood. ~ Jonathan Safran Foer
