Dear friends,
A few years a back a very talented lady named Ivonice did some dharma songs for me. I asked her to do Migtseyma, 8 Verses of Thought Transformation and The Praise to Setrap written by His Holiness the 5th Dalai Lama. She came out with the tune, music and lent her unique mesmerizing voice to all three. You must listen for yourself. Save them and listen often and do share with friends. It would be nice for animals and also children. Very soothing for a toddler too.
I am grateful for Ivonice’s offering and the effort she put into this. I make it available to everyone around the world. Please enjoy meaningful music that is blessed and spiritually infused.
Her equally talented husband Charlie did a wonderful painting of Tsongkapa and gifted me with it. I was very touched and overwhelmed. So kind of Ivonice and Charlie and I thank them.

With the determination to accomplish
The highest welfare for all sentient beings
Who surpass even a wish-granting jewel
I will learn to hold them supremely dear.
Whenever I associate with others I will learn
To think of myself as the lowest among all
And respectfully hold others to be supreme
From the very depths of my heart
In all actions I will learn to search into my mind
And as soon as an afflictive emotion arises
Endangering myself and others
I will firmly face and avert it.
I will learn to cherish all beings of bad nature
And those pressed by strong sins and sufferings
As if I had found a precious
Treasure very difficult to find
When others out of jealousy treat me badly
With abuse, slander, and so on,
May I suffer the defeat
And offer the victory to them
When one whom I have benefited with great hope
Unreasonably hurts me very badly,
I will learn to view that person
As an excellent spiritual guide.
In short, I will learn to offer to everyone without exception
All help and happiness directly and indirectly
And respectfully take upon myself
All harm and suffering of my mothers.
I will learn to keep all these practices
Undefiled by the stains of the eight worldly conceptions
And by the understanding of all phenomena as like illusions
Be released from the bondage of attachment.

These songs are so relaxing RInpoche. I loved listening to them. But i would have to say that the Migtsema is still my favourite. This is probably because i have always knew the prayer and i have sung it in song form before haha.

The unique voice and serene sound of this very talented singer Ivonice, was indeed mesmerizing, so were the accompanying music and tune which certainly do her justice! Wow…Ivonice has composed the songs just for Rinpoche. She sang nicely for all the tunes.
I like how she changes the lyrics for the 8 Verses of Thought Transformation, but keeping the meaning intact.
Also, it is difficult to obtain 5 verses of Migtsema in songs, as usually it is only in 4 verses. Much appreciated.
The Topa to Lord Setrap is most awesome. Very catchy tune. Very modern.

OMB, her voice is so beautiful!How fortunate this talented singer can singing this three holy precious prayers. And she really make a lot of efforts then compiled all three into songs. I like the way she sing, full of passionate, respect and sincere from bottom her heart. I cannot press pause while I play this three prayer songs.

Thank you, Rinpoche. Ivonice is a talented singer with a unique and serene voice. Most suitable for spiritually uplifting music. It is also a wonderful and effective way to spread some positive energy as nearly everyone enjoys a little music every now and then. I also like Charlie’s presentation of Lama Tsongkhapa. Very peaceful and he looks very “Tibetan” and human-like. Many thanks to the very talented couple.
PS: The Praise to Lord Setrap is most appealing to me. Wow! Hauntingly seductive. The melody and music arrangement work well together building the magnetic pull of the 70s funk and soul. The singing bowl also represented the song accurately. I can imagine Yoko Ono jamming to this tune.
