The Mysterious Monsters – narrated by Peter Graves

May 22, 2012 | Views: 2,223

Dear Everyone,

Another favorite video of mine narrated by Peter Graves. He does a good job as he seems convinced in what he is narrating. I wish I can find a group of people genuinely interested in these creatures here where I am…nice to have a discussion group and share videos/information.

In this film, Lochness, Bigfoot and Yeti are explored. I have watched it numerous times and still enjoy it. I have it on my computer to watch again and again. Now you can access it anytime also.

This video has many interesting parts to it. You must go to a quiet space to watch. Put on the earphones so you miss no details.

In this video, do notice:

  1. They have captured on sonar a flipper of the lochness monster. Very excellent. Very convincing. Video footages of something (Nessie) swimming very fast in the Loch Ness. Excellent photographs of Nessie being out of the water partially near well known landmarks giving a good perspective to size.
  2. Peter Hurkos, a world reknowned psychic who gives a dazzling display of his abilities when he describes a plaster cast of Bigfoot’s foot without seeing anything.
  3. Many interesting encounters are re-enacted between normal everyday people and bigfoot. Some of the encounters are downright frightening but irresistable to watch. You will enjoy. You must watch!!!
  4. Interesting footprints of the yeti in the Himalayas captured on still film.

There are many more things to watch out for in this video. Do watch carefully and share with friends.

As I said in my previous posts, Mysteries if this nature are some of my favorite subjects since very young.

National Geographic American Paranormal – Bigfoot

This documentary contains an excellent explanation on the Patterson-Gimlin footage of Bigfoot dubbed Patty. It goes through scientific methods to prove the image on the film is authentic. Please watch and be convinced finally. I’ve always believed the footage was genuine. Mr. Gimlin in all the interviews I’ve watched seemed very genuine and suffered tremendously as a result of the footage.

Curious about the legendary Yeti? Not sure what to believe? Here is an article that explores a range of sources, from folktales to newspaper reports, detailing sightings and encounters with the elusive creature, who has been a part of the very fabric of various Himalayan communities for thousands of years. Read about religious beliefs, myths, fables and stories by scholars and travellers alike, and realise that there is more to the Yeti than you previously thought.

In 1967, Bob Gimlin and Roger Patterson stumbled across an incredible sight whilst out in Bluff Creek, in the California wilderness. At a creek which had been freshly washed-out by recent floods, they witnessed a female Bigfoot swiftly traverse the rugged landscape. Since their filmed encounter with the Bigfoot, who has since been nicknamed Patty, many have disputed the authenticity of their recording but no one has been able to successfully prove that it is a fake.

Credits for this video goes to entirely to windvale for the original footage. ?

Dear friends, This is a very good documentary on bigfoot. It is very scientific and examines a new footage of a bigfoot running very fast. Examines and gives you reasons why this cannot be a man or a person in a suit..very nice. I’ve not seen this one before. – https://video.tsemtulku.com/videos/BigfootStabilised.mp4

Thanks for the video link, Rinpoche. It is a very well researched and made documentary on Big Foot. It is great that science is giving importance to this legend through in-depth studies and experiments. Let’s hope there will be more evidence that proves its existence.

I’ve got news for anyone who isn’t already aware, there WAS AND IS a real Sasquatch body that was found dead, witnessed & photographed by dozens of people back in the 60’s right after the Columbus Day wind storm in Oregon. Crews were sent out in various areas to clear the mountain roads of all the fallen trees due to the storm. One crew found the body, crushed by a downed Spruce, killing the being. It was face down under the tree & already dead. MANY people witnessed this. It was loaded onto a flatbed truck & hauled off by authorities. There is/was a case number and strong evidence that the bones & complete autopsy & any other lab work, are in the possession of the Smithsonian Institution, secretly of course. There are just too many witnesses to dispute this event. The government seized all the photo’s they could from various people, but not all were recovered. It was described as a female, 7′ 6″ tall and weighed over 600 lbs. I hope that the few people still alive, with possession of these photo’s, will somehow get them onto the internet. Time will tell. This incident truly happened. Crews had to cut the section of the huge Spruce tree away, and block & tackle or some type of hoist had to be used to load the body onto the flatbed truck. Authorities ran everyone off rather quickly. I’ve read several eyewitness testimonies. Back then, the story was covered by local media, but the powers that be, killed the story, therefore never making it to mainstream media. If you don’t believe me, google it. It can also be found on a couple youtube channels. Use the words: “1960’s Columbus Day wind storm in Oregon, results in recovered Sasquatch body killed by tree”, or something along those lines.

On second thought, I think that these monsters are very clear evidence that there are strange beings that have not been scientifically categorized by scientists yet, perhaps in part, they run around stealthily and avoid all human contact. This goes to show that science does not know everything yet and there are many creatures and existences that Buddha talked about that has not been proven by science.

  8. Sean Wang on Jun 30, 2012 at 9:31 pm

This is a very interesting video. I believe that all these monsters do exist. I also believe that they come in peace. When they describe these creatures harming humans, actually, it is because the humans foolishly provoked the creature or infiltrated/destroyed the creature’s homes.

I think that Nessie is in a plesiosaurus that was able to evolve to adapt to our current surroundings, and yet remained in the same external form.

Malaysia also has a ‘bigfoot’ type cryptid called Orang Mawas. It is described as being about 10 ft (2.4–3 m) tall, bipedal and covered in black fur, and has been reported feeding on fish and raiding orchards. I hope I get to see an Orang Mawas one day.

I wonder if those monsters in the videos are the real monsters or we are if we check carefully in the mirror. Rinpoche said before in a talk monsters are wrongly afflicted. Even monsters have a soft spot for their young and protect their young and loved ones against other creatures or harmful elements. So we can’t generalize that all monsters are totally evil, monsters have their soft spot for certain things. I am using monsters and people who are very deluded in this context, that no one is totally 100% negative. If people are never 100% negative or they do not have friends or companions, then it is our projection that makes them monsters to us.

  13. Shirley Tan on Jul 9, 2010 at 1:56 am

I am convinced that we are not the only ones. So many different types of beings may and can exist in different realms or even in the same realm as us. I have always loved stories on UFOs, Big Foot, Loch Ness, etc. It seems really limiting if we are the only ones.
I was also a great fan of mystical beings such as mermaids and fairies, etc. It seems to me that life can appear in many forms and that the human form is probably the most ‘boring’ form. There is nothing physically outstanding about our species, except our minds. Hence, it is important that we nurture our minds most of all.
Rinpoche is always finding ways to feed our minds and train our minds. More than anything else, to break its habituational mind sets. I think it is great that Rinpoche shares all these stories and videos on monsters, gods, ghosts and etc. It helps us think more.
    Thank you, Rinpoche.

  14. Michael Kuang on Jul 7, 2010 at 11:51 pm

Yeti, Big Foot, Sasquatch the Missing Link, all these are the mysteries of mankind where contradictory comments or hypothesis arises whenever it is brought up in the scientific debate. To me, I do think they exist but perhaps these beings are over live the time continuum that laps to our current world (eg: Rip Van Winkle Syndrome). These are sentient beings and in previous life might happen to be one of our mothers. To me it doesn’t really matter as long as Yeti/Big Foot is alive/exist, we should pray for their safety from poacher or hunters or scientists. May they remain as a mystery, and continue to live on until the end of time.

  15. David Lai on Jul 7, 2010 at 4:19 am

Monster is a term of endearment Rinpoche uses for his students and sometimes said with a sarcastic tone to insinuate what wayward students that we are. I had always found it very endearing and I sometimes use that on my dear friends especially the closer ones. There is another variant that Rinpoche use to use for a female student…He used to call her Monstera and it usually enunciated with a Germanic accent.
I believe Bigfoots, yetis and sasquash and commonplace in Tibet and apparently, Monlam, Rinpoche’s Tibetan attendant have seen one. To Tibetans, they are not mythical creatures but are very much a part of their world. It was said that Yetis would offer thier rarest or rare milk to Dromo Geshe Rinpoche (a very famous and attained Lama) and he would make highly sought after medicinal pills out of it. Just thought I share this with you guys.

  16. Peter on Jul 6, 2010 at 12:30 pm

    Terima Kasih Rinpoche!
LOL! I guess we don’t need to go to the Himalayas or Scotland to sight these fabulous monsters but just a look at my own mirror and that would have suffice!
These kind of videos remind me of what my own father used to follow on back in the 70’s and he was so into these stuff and I recall how he used to fondly share with me about these similar strange creatures and phenomena which is one indication that just when modern man thought he knew it, every now and then, new species and creatures are being discovered all over this planet which even scientists are oft left baffled.
But as Buddhists, we have always been made aware of how infinite are sentient beings as karma is and yet when both are extinguished, our great vows to benefit all ever remains, as shown in the leadership and guidance of Rinpoche!

  17. margaretlee on Jul 5, 2010 at 9:06 am

When I was young, I remember that I was very inclined to always find out more about the existence of monsters, ghosts, and UFOs. At a very young age, I have already formulated the believe that humans are not the only form of species of existence in the world. Story lines of sighting some kind of dragons swimming in the sea or foot prints left by Big Foot always fansinated me. In particular, Big Foot created a big wave of mysterious controversy in the 70’s. The two videos showing Scientists were trying all sorts of means like polygraphs or hynosis to verify the sighting of big foots were reportedly genuine cases. I see them as giant apes, they could very well be the missing links in the evolutionary process that still exist in this 21st century.

    Dear baby Sean Wang,
These monsters are classified under the animal realm.
I like them too and I see them almost everyday. There’s alot of monsters in kh..hehheeh
And if one lives in Bangsar in a house in Lorong Maarof near BSC!! The monster is around 13 years old and loves buffets, and at times sounds like a frog.
    eheheh

    Dear Rinpoche,
I think that all the mysterious monsters do exist. I just wonder what realm are they from in samsara as they are different from other animals as bigfoot is half-human and half-ape?
I really wish I could see these extrordinary creatures one day. Thank you for the wonderful information as I am quite a fan of these fascinating things.
An Ocean of Prayers and with folded hands,
    Sean Wang

The process of taking photographs is so easy, so common. Yet, for certain people, when the situation and circumstances are just right, taking photographs can be a special experience.

Thank you for the sharing of an award wining photograph that worth a thousand words. This picture is one of the best that captures reality in life of a monk’s discipline and the effort of his vows to his guru. The monk found his right time to do his meditation has the rest of the people in his compartment seem to be faraway sleeping without knowing what will happen to them in next second.

I’m sure the monk would have done a protection prayers to all the people in the train for a safe journey.

This recycling project should be continued so that there will be no waste soup and at the same time it help many unfortunate groups to improve their cleanliness and hygiene.
It is a very very smart thing to do, recycle the bar soaps and shampoos can save money, lessen the soap bars and shampoos that are supposed to be thrown away, it is very hygienic and we can put it into a good cost.

Breath taking looking through those ancient beautiful Hindus temples. All are monolithic structures , with ancient architecture. Such as Kailasa Temple, Ellora, India built in 8th century and it took over a period of 20 years to construct. Some of these magnificent structure has been listed among the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. All I can say is all these Hindus Temples not really beautiful but really impressive . I have not been to any of these temples but wish to see it. Anything ancient architecture or structures or holy place will always fascinated me and in my travel bucket. Can imagine how it was built those days without modern machinery. Interesting.

Nepal-China relations have always remained friendly and cordial. The historic and multi-faceted bilateral relations between the two countries have evolved since centuries ago. The two countries have been marked by friendliness, understanding, mutual support, cooperation and respect for each other’s sensitivities. China has helped develop infrastructure and decrease import dependence. China has helped in the construction of highways and roads in Nepal. Nepal and China agreed to enhance cooperation in trade, investment, agriculture, cultural exchanges, tourism and so forth. Both countries benefited since then with the signing of the Sino-Nepal Treaty of Peace and Friendship signed. Bringing opportunities for both especially Nepal will have a better economic growth. They are working together to preserve Buddhism in the holy sites of Bodhgaya in India and Lumbini in Nepal. This will being innumerable benefits for the continent and the world.

Duldzin Drakpa Gyaltsen a great scholar, yogi and master of Sutra and Tantra as promise arose as a Dharma Protector. He is one of the more famous previous incarnations of Dorje Shugden to protect the precious teachings of his teacher Lama Tsongkhapa. Duldzin Drakpa Gyaltsen’s best known legacy is the construction of Gaden Monastery, a 600-year-old monastic institution which continues to exist to this day. Recording to H.H. Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche’s account the sacred remains of Duldzin Drakpa Gyaltsen is at Tsunmo Tsel Monastery . It’s a blessing I saw the beautiful stupa where the sacred remains of Duldzin Drakpa Gyaltsen was. Interesting read of the life of a GREAT Lama and his legacy which i enjoyed reading.

It’s a spiritual retreat for every tourist the whole year through as it offers a meditative environment quietly set amidst woods. A bird-friendly garden can be exactly many people would love to have. I am one of them I loved spotting and watching birds especially when the birds chirping sounds can be heard. Sitting under a tree , listening to birds chirping while reading a good book is priceless. The nature of the enduring happiness which the love of birds gives makes my day. Birds are some of the most wonderful manifestations of nature. Feeding them with foods is a wonderful sight to see too. Its Rinpoche ‘s kindness and compassion that had inspired all of us to be kind , caring to all animals nor matter what they are.

Nearly everyone has had weird, scary experiences, things that happen in life that seem to defy any sort of rational explanation. Unexplained at times. For me I am not scare as long as I do not disturb them. In fact feel sad for them, will dedicate my prayers to them now since prayers can help them. Ghost and spirit haunting always seem to be up to mischief at times. Watched those videos……interesting when the mysterious and unexplained happens such as the ‘moving pint’ incident at the pub. Interesting sharing of ghost footage taken in different pubs around the world.

Its not too late , at least for a moment Rinpoche knew of his passing and had a picture of him after all these long years. A friend like Andy whom Rinpoche do not want to lose as he was kind and generous ,helping Rinpoche during the most difficult times at Los Angeles, California. Interesting read of how the writers managed to search and search without giving up and found it at last .Interesting video too.

Everyone in the world has the right to practice what one ‘s own religion, and beliefs. Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion. Its their choice and no one are above the law saying one should or should not pray to this and that. Our lama Rinpoche had been targeted all this years just because Rinpoche chose to continue practicing Dorje Shugden. Rinpoche had been abused online with all sorts of ugly words or so. Dorje Shugden ‘s practitioners been discriminated is really sad, just because one religious beliefs. NOT only that Rinpoche’s student too targeted using nasty words as well. Dorje Shugden is accused to be a evil spirit, they should checked and read the history and origin before commenting. Recently i did received nasty and disgusting comments too on my postings in FB. Who are they to comment , such a nonsense . Well they will soon have to swallow their own words.
Those Dorje Shugden practitioners are not allowed to participate in many events , denied service and so forth. Reading all the untrue and nonsense comments , felt sickening and shocking. As Buddhist we should respect each other and make peace , harmony not ‘war’.
Thank you for this sharing ,hopefully more are aware of what the ban on Dorje Shugden has caused. Enough is enough , may the ban soon be history.

Truly a great teacher and after years of wandering, the first monastery in the Ajahn Chah tradition was found followed by many monasteries and continues to flourish. He left the world a legacy of a GREAT TEACHER of his teachings, and realizations of the Buddha dharma.
Despite all this, Ajahn Chah attracted an increasing number of followers who wanted to become his disciples. Thank you very much for the good sharing.

For more than a thousand years, artists have played a key role in the cultural life in Asia. At Tibet, Kashmir, and Nepal their arts flourished as its equally important part of their culture, architecture and their way of living to the outer world. The artist using art to express their knowledge, skills . The art painting reveal the way of lifestyle and strong belief they have in Buddhism. From the book ‘Arts from the Rooftop of Asia , Chinese has influence in the Tibetan paintings of thangkas and many art paintings in the region. Religious influence on Nepalese handicrafts. Interesting book revealing the history of arts with rare and precious pictures.

I must thank my dharma blog team who are great assets to me, Kechara and growth of dharma in this wonderful region. I am honoured and thrilled to work with them. I really am. Maybe I don't say it enough to them, but I am saying it now. I APPRECIATE THESE GUYS VERY MUCH!

The Unknown

The Known and unknown are both feared,
Known is being comfortable and stagnant,
The unknown may be growth and opportunities,
One shall never know if one fears the unknown more than the known.
Who says the unknown would be worse than the known?
But then again, the unknown is sometimes worse than the known. In the end nothing is known unless we endeavour,
So go pursue all the way with the unknown,
because all unknown with familiarity becomes the known.
~Tsem Rinpoche

What the meat industry figured out is that you don't need healthy animals to make a profit.
Sick animals are more profitable... farms calculate how close to death they can keep animals without killing them. That's the business model. How quickly they can be made to grow, how tightly they can be packed, how much or how little can they eat, how sick they can get without dying... We live in a world in which it's conventional to treat an animal like a block of wood. ~ Jonathan Safran Foer
