A 5.8 magnitude earthquake ws reported to have shook Tokyo and eastern Japan @ 9.46am on 20th May 2011, causing buildings to tremor and shake. Nevertheless, from world news report, leaders of Japan, China, and South Korea gathered in Fukushima city in a gesture of solidarity over the on-going nuclear crisis. They, together with Tokyo and its neighbours were reportedly concerned over the crisis, rather than the recurrence of the aforesaid 5.8 magnitude earthquake at Tokyo. The 3 nations, together with the World watching with great worry over the Tokyo’s efforts to contain the Fukushima’s nuclear crisis. “Tokyo was expected to offer to share lessons it had learned from the natural disasters.” Beijing and Seoul as well as the wider international community were duly worried and agreed to strengthen co-operation in a disaster relief in case any serious emergency situations arising. This is indeed a big step to help in improving relationships, especially in such times of great needs!!
