Thank you for such a heart-warming, sincere and beautiful Birthday wish for me. I was very touched by your message and felt so much good energy from both of you. I thank you for asking Kuan Yin to bless me as we all need Her blessings daily.
Please obey your parents, work hard in school and get good grades. With good grades you can do more later to be of service to others. Be kind to animals and never hurt them as they cannot speak or express pain. Be respectful to elders and polite at all times. Be helpful at home and share chores because you love your parents and do your Om Ah Ra Ba Za Na Dhi mantras daily. If you do your chores, you make it easier for your parents as they have so much to do to take care of you. We will blog my October 24th events and you can see it here later this week.
I wish you both well and I thank you for your efforts in this message which I appreciate so deeply.

Very cute siblings! They are so sincere and adorablee! They are very lucky that they met Rinpoche in such a young age, i’m glad that they made the effort to record a short video and dedicated it to Rinpoche. Their parents must be really proud of them! Thank You for sharing Rinpoche.

Very cute kids. They are fortunate to meet Dharma and a teacher like Rinpoche at such a young age. They must have had a lot of merits collected from a previous life. Along those lines, in Kechara, there are many children young and old who are active members and participants of the children’s dharma classes on Sundays. Perhaps they too were connected to Rinpoche in a previous life.
Just to share – rinpoche really loves kids and takes extra special care of the children in Kechara. Rinpoche takes them out for special outings, feeds them, plays with them, gives them lots of love and care and attention. Rinpoche does this for many reasons, and one of them is to ensure they grow up to be good adults that give back to society.
Rinpoche believes many parents today spoil their children by making up for a lack of presence through monetary means. Kids are also spoiled through having maids at their beck and call. Instead, rinpoche strongly believes that if kids are brought up correctly, with good role models and learning gratitude, they will be pillars of society. And the lucky kids of Kechara are able to experience this firsthand.
Awww so cute! Kids’ smile are most sincere and they say what they mean from the bottom of their heart. Personally, I enjoy being with kids most times. They taught me empathy, sincerity, kindness, honesty, fearless etc. Everyone has a little kid in the deepest space of our heart. I must say I am a kid acting like an adult, an adult used to ignore the little kid’s need. Denying and not accepting who we are, how imperfect we are lead us no way. It is when we adjust the mind and let this wee one out and live life to the fullest, with the help of Je Tsongkhapa’s Guru Yoga of course, then true happiness comes. Everything becomes so natural and not selective. It is pure beauty and peace to just be the kid. The true essence of our nature!
Alysa and Daryl are really adorable and cute. Their sincere wishes for Rinpoche’s long happy life has touched my heart a lot. Both of them are so fortunate to meet with Dharma at their very young age. May Alysa, Daryl and their parents receive many blessings from Rinpoche, Buddha, Dharma and Sangha.

Children are so simple and sincere in what they do. There’s no hidden agenda and purely want to do something to show appreciation. May we adults learn from these young kids who are able to grow up to be good adults in future because of dharma and Rinpoche.
This is so cute! It is such a great fortune to be able to learn Dharma at a very young age. Dharma shows the children the right attitude to have when living their lives. My life would have been different (better) if I had met and practised Dharma when I was a child. Many mistakes that I have done, could have been avoided; many bad habituations I have now, could have not been existed at all. Now, I have to spend more time and much effort to correct the wrongs and bad habituations I have made for the last 30 years. Rejoice for these children!

Daryl and Alysa Cheong are very cute. They are not just normal kids but kids that are fortunate to meet with Dharma and practice Dharma at a young age. When Dharma is instill into kids, we know that they will be OK and will learn how to face with obstacles and problem when they grown up. Rejoice!

I’m really happy to see more and more young people connecting to Dharma, to Rinpoche’s teachings and blessings. It certainly does make a big difference in a person’s life to be given such strong and loving principles from a young age – a wonderful anchor to live the rest of their lives by.
I have had the fortune of working with people now who grew up in Dharma and they are remarkable people with a much stronger sense of responsibility, care for others and integrity than normal. Here’s sending lots of love back to Alyssa and Daryl, you are growing up to be wonderful people!

I always think that the best gift from parents to kids is dharma. with dharma instilled in their life, definitely makes very much different, and dharma will be the only gift that can be bring along during death.
The video is so cute and the kids who in front of the screen are adorable, sincere, direct and pure. They didn’t act, they didn’t spoke big word in front of the video but they are real, I mean is very sincere and cute.
They wished Rinpoche always be blessed by Guan Kin and have a long life & healthy body then can teach dharma and benefit more. They have very pure motivation. I like this video very much, simple and warm!!!
Yes, sometime a gift can be very simple even no need money also can offer too. I remember Rinpoche also teach us and he always emphasized that the most precious gift for him is his student offer their mind transformation. Rinpoche said he will very very happy if every single of us can transform and work for dharma and live for others, Rinpoche will feel tremendous happy for us.
Because as a Guru, what Rinpoche want it, we can reduce or release our pain by helping others. So no matter how tough is Rinpoche still will help us release from suffering then we concentration in our spiritual journey. So when we choose a birthday gift to Rinpoche, all must start from our motivation.

I’m happy to see more Dharma kids being nurtured by Dharma parents… i see Rinpoche’s loving and practical advice and guidance to these kids which is applicable to all kids, Buddhist or not. This is so so so cute, with sincerity, we do not need to spend a lot of money, with sincerity, we do not need to do the extra unnecessary work, sometimes things are very simple, the most important element is to see whether do we put our heart in or not when we do something.
