Saved in Car Fire! | 救于一场致命的车祸！

Kent Kok is a disciple of His Eminence Tsem Rinpoche. Rinpoche has never personally contacted Kent, and furthermore, Rinpoche was far away in USA in July 2014, then suddenly one day Kent received a statue of Chundi Kuanyin from Rinpoche. A few days later on July 12th at midnight 1am, Kent was driving along a highway in Kuala Lumpur, he was very familiar with this stretch of road, but he mysteriously drove into the opposite lane! Kent immediately lost control of his car and went into the ditch and the car caught fire! Miraculously, Kent was unhurt, not even a scratch. Then he remembered that his handphone was still in the burning car and wanted to retrieve it, but passerby stopped him from going near the car again.
Kent realized that he was saved by the blessing of Tsem Rinpoche, and the protection of Dorje Shugden which he carried the protector card in his pocket and recited the mantra daily.
After Tsem Rinpoche knew that Kent had lost his handphone in the car fire, Rinpoche gifted Kent a new handphone! Rinpoche is really compassionate to have saved Kent’s life, and even bought him a handphone to reduce his loss!

詹杜固仁波切的弟子郭宭菖分享自己曾经遇严重的车祸，大难不死的玄妙经过！去年七月，远在美国，平时根本不曾联系宭菖的詹杜固仁波切突然叫人送了宭菖一尊 准提观音像，几天后吧，这起意外就发生了。七月十二号凌晨一点钟，他驾驶灵鹿汽车飞驶在吉隆坡的大道上，这条路是他很熟悉的。突然，他的车子竟然不知何 故，错驶进入对方的车道！眼前一下子很亮，他的车子就在快速的情况，失控的滚撞入路旁的大沟里！整辆车着火！奇怪的是他的人却一点事，受伤，流血都没！甚 至还很清醒的可以赶快爬出着火的车子外面，突然想到手机还在车子里，又想再回车里找，路人都拉住不给他再靠近车子。路人也对于他一点伤都没，而感到不可思 议，他心里马上领悟到是是詹杜固仁波切救了他一命，还有身上口袋里那张护法护法卡的“消灾避难”的护佑功劳，也是他每天努力念心咒所得到的护佑！
隔天开始，他更加虔诚，念比平时更多次心咒，念完还恭恭敬敬的感恩多杰雄登护法昨晚的护佑，虽然车子毁了，但是，护法却护佑他的人毫无受伤，真是一点事都没，真玄妙啊。
当詹杜固仁波切得知宭菖失去了手机之后，还托人送了新的手机给他。慈悲的仁波切体恤弟子真是无微不至，不但救了他一命，还送他新手机安慰他！

Many times we are unable to explain the situation but I think this is what we call miracle. It is very important to believe in our Guru and recite mantra everyday. When we are connected to Buddha, he will help us when we need guidance and protection. Thank you Rinpoche for your care to the students.
I have heard so many stories of how Dorje Shugden have safe their lives. Somehow, “strange” things happened and somehow they survive very bad accidents.
Thank you Rinpoche for giving this enlightened Dharma Protector who is ever quick.
感谢分享郭宭菖（Kent Kok）故事，对我而言这不是侥幸；而确实是上师的坚持和庇护才能让Kent Kok逃过大劫。但看照片中烧毁的车子确实很严重，庆幸Kent Kok 没有在这次的意外里受到伤害。
这个故事再一次证明了上师和多杰雄登护法会帮助我们远离一切困难；只要我们拥有强烈的上师依止之心。
仁波切对弟子的照顾是无微不至的。
One’s guru can really help us especially if we practice the buddha dharma. The passerby who helped Kent Kok in the middle of the night, quite a coincidence don’t you think so.
Now Kent Kok is an indispensable part of the Puja Team and apparently a very hand man helping out with our mother temple in KL, Kechara House. Rinpoche never does anything randomly, and everything he does is with a specific purpose to benefit a student and it is always timely. Rejoice in Kent Kok to have a greater opportunity and bigger scope to contribute to the dharma.
Kent Kok indeed are blessed whom escape unharmed from the fire, may Kent continually be protected from Three Jewels. May this also imbued the strength and faith towards Dharma teachings and guidance from Rinpoche to help others.
May the compassion and kindness of Rinpoche spreads in all directions.
This is how strong the Dharma is and how caring Rinpoche is because if Rinpoche didn’t give him the statue, he probably would have been hurt or worse. I do not think it is a coincidence because the Dharma is very strong and it can protect you. But that doesn’t mean that you can just get free protection because the Dharma is there to be learned and understood so you must go to contribute towards the Dharma too.
This is also why we should trust Rinpoche because he only wants the best for us so we should help him for all he has done for us in the Dharma. Also all he wants is for the Dharma to spread so we should help him because the Dharma can benefit us too and it not like hard labour, it is good and smart to learn and develop the mind too.
I am very happy he wasn’t hurt at all and it was a miracle. It was not a coincidence, that is what I think. Many things can protect us in the Dharma like Buddhas, Protectors etc. So this is just one example of the Dharma giving to us so why don’t we give too?
It is really amazing to read about stories like this. Some people may find this superstitious or even “overly promoted” (sorry for lack of better words) but I myself have received Rinpoche’s gracious help. We may not see it until we experience something. Quite a number of years back, my mom was admitted into the hospital and was diagnosed with ectopic pregnancy, this happens when the fertilised egg is being developed outside the uterus. She did not notice that she was pregnant until one night when she had a massive stomachache. By the time she was sent to the hospital, the doctor did a scanning on her stomach and discovered that one of the tubes burst due to the growth of the egg and causing huge amount of blood in her stomach. Everyone thought she couldn’t make it, she said that at that time, her tongue was numb, she couldn’t speak and started to see people “floating”, her hearing was also deteriorating. These are some signs indicating that a person is going to die, clearly. She couldn’t chant protector’s mantra because her tongue was numb but she was chanting the mantra in her heart: OM BENZA WIKI BITANA SOHA. During the operation, she dreamt of Rinpoche talking to her, she wasn’t clear about what Rinpoche was saying in her dreams, but Rinpoche was talking to her and that kept her conscious awake and that dream has made it possible for her to live till today. People may not believe this but I know what I saw and what I heard from my mother, there’s no need of her to lie anyways. I truly believe that it was my Guru, Tsem Rinpoche and our great protector Dorje Shudgen that have saved my mother from her death’s door and I am very grateful for that. If it wasn’t because of these two great holy beings, my mother wouldn’t have been alive.
It is really amazing that the Kuanyin statue could save Kent. Rinpoche must have some psychic powers to know that Kent would get into a car accident, thus giving him a statue and a protector card which would save his life and leave him unharmed even though the crash was considered quite serious. Surely if it wasn’t for Rinpoche giving Kent the statue he might have died in the accident.
This just shows how powerful the Buddha’s and the protectors are.
Since Kent lost his phone in the mishap, Rinpoche kindly bought Kent a new phone. This shows that the kindness of Rinpoche is limitless.
This incident quite amazes me as it is quite hard to digest that even in a freak accident the protector can save your life and leave you unscath
1) Kent is really fortunate that Rinpoche saved his life. Imagine what would have happened if it’s without Rinpoche’s blessings, the situation could be a lot worse. Kent is so lucky so escape from his burning car without getting wounded. How is it even possible to escape from an accident like that without getting hurt?
2) Rinpoche has great compassion, it is so great to the extent where no words can even explain it. Let no just talk Rinpoche’s compassion towards people, let’s talk about animals too. Just like how my father aka Pastor Henry Ooi explained it: Rinpoche’s compassion is so great, He would even build a giant aviary in KFR just to save a few birds. And now, Rinpoche is building another aviary which will be called the Recovery Aviary, it is an Aviary built just for injured and recovering birds which is quite obvious, but don’t you think it’s incredible?
3) Rinpoche has been very kind and caring as well. He has been giving out presents to a lots of people and Rinpoche has also been saving people’s lives. My mother’s life have also been saved Rinpoche about 8 years ago. Why did my mother said that Rinpoche saved her life? Because during her very serious surgery (which has very high chances of failing) in the operation room, and she was very near to her last breath and she dreamed of lying down on Rinpoche’s lap for a while and Rinpoche was saying something which she could not hear properly. About 7 hours later, the operation was a success! And she is still healthy to this very day all thanks to Rinpoche.
It is really a miracle that despite how Kent’s car crashed in to a ditch and burst to flames, Kent himself managed to escape unhurt.
This just goes to show how powerful Dorje Shugden can be to those who worship and respect him.
Just chanting Dorje Shugden’s mantra and keeping an image of him clsoe to us can really reap good merits and blessings.
Some people may say that Kent may just have gotten lucky and and etc but reading the other stories of how Dorje Shugden have helped and saved people’s lives, I am really impressed that Dorje Shugden really has the powers to help those who pray to him for help.
I love reading stories like this! Its always so fascinating for me and it makes me realise how important Gurus are in our lives.
From reading this article i have already learnt a few things. Firstly, the power our gurus hold and their kindness. We must always respect of gurus, they are so kind and so wise. They even help us in the worst situations. Like this situation is a good example. Because of reading this article i feel as though i have developed an even deeper feeling of respect for my guru.
The other thing that i have learnt is the power of Dorje Shugden. Kent had a Dorje Shugden statue in his pocket in the situation when he was in danger, and Dorje Shugden protected him. This makes me really appreciate the fact that i am so close to Dorje Shugden. I will always hold Dorje Shugden close to my heart.
It’s amazing….thanks to our guru Tsem Tulku Rinpoche and protector that Kent is unhurt, not even a scratch. This shows how important it is to have faith and sincere devotion to one’s guru. We are so fortunate to have Rinpoche to guide and protect us from harm and disaster, thank you for all the care and love, Rinpoche.
Our Guru always compassionately advice us the practice that will benefit us and we always believe our Guru just as one as the Buddha that know what we need to protect us and support our spiritual journey. Tsem Rinpoche has many times gave advice and practices to the students and many times i have heard the miracles and positive outcome from the advice.
We are so lucky to have receive the protector practice from Rinpoche which has it’s great lineage way back from the Buddha’s time. Together with the devotion and consistency of our practice we will never go wrong with Rinpoche’s advice and the protector will always be there for us.

Despite saving his life, Rinpoche also has given Kent Kok a second chance to purify the negatives karma and to generate even more merits for his road to Enlightenment through Dharma practice.It is said that a genuine teacher is always on the lookout for his disciples. Looking back at this article, I am totally in awe of Rinpoche’s immense compassion combined with His skillful means. We don’t have to be right in everything we do but be beneficial for others.
Due to Rinpoche’s kindness, many Kecharians are still working hard in realising Rinpoche’s vision and in preparation welcoming the next one.
This is the miracle of Buddha’s protection and of following Guru’s instructions.
