Kechara Kuantan Group Invites Tsongkhapa!
Here are a series of pictures/text messages I received. I decided to post it here and it tells a nice story of how Holy Lama Tsongkapa has arrived at the Kechara Kuantan Study Group’s place.
This small group is steadily growing and is a close affiliate of Kechara in KL. They have a wonderful dharma relationship with Kechara in KL. Our Liaisons and students go there often. They often come to Kuala Lumpur.
Today, sacred Tsongkapa arrives in their premises. I am indeed very happy for them. Everyone who views, hears, contemplates, makes offerings, meditates on Tsongkapa will be blessed, protected and gain great peace. Associating with Tsongkapa in anyway earns one incredible amounts of merit. You can never go wrong with Buddha Tsongkapa.
Kuantan group and our Kechara Liaisons have been planning this for weeks and today was a big day. Before sacred Tsongkapa arrived, many mushrooms were seen to bloom on their own on the land…this is considered very auspicious as it means growth and success. Please read the various messages/pictures from students who attended sent to me I’ve posted below. Thank you..Tsem Rinpoche

[…] Kechara Kuantan Group invites Tsongkhapa! […]
remember when i first met Leonard is in Kechara Paradise One Utama, and after that I met him again several times in KH2 and different outlet and different department often, at one time, I was thinking are they really from Kuantan??? Because the number of time I met Leonard and wife is much more than people that staying in KL.
Hehe, I’m very fortunate to have the chance to go to Kuantan participating the inviting of Lama Tsongkhapa, the moment i reach there, my first impression is “Wow, its so grand, so many people standing outside waiting for the arrival of Lama Tsongkhapa with flower holding in their hand, they have put up so much effort and time for these occasion, how devoted they are”.
and not to forget, they keep on asking us to go to beach for a little relax before coming back, and due to time constrain, we can’t make it, but we can’t afford to reject them for bringing us for a nice dinner, they are just so warm hearted
and finally when we are getting ready to leave Kuantan, our car is quite packed with lots of things and 5 people are sitting inside a Myvi, they even offer to send us back to KL if the car can’t fit in so many of us, we told them it’s really fine, we can manage it (you know lar… I’m so slim) haha…
This is really OMG, how can you all be so friendly, I’m really fortunate to have know you all.
Wish you all the best and may Lama Tsongkhapa Teaching spread in east coast with the efforts of Our Devotees in Kuantan. Congratulations My Dear Friendsss
Cheers
Albert
Greetings from Penang!
Well done, Leonard and team!!! May Lama Tsongkhapa teachings flourish to benefit the people in the region!!!
The 3ft Lama Tsongkapa statue invited by Kechara Kuantan Group is very, very nice. I like the face so serene and calm. I met Leonard Cheah in KH2 one night when came to check into KH hostel for the night. I didn’t talk much to him. As I was attending to Keith and Lay Koon visitors from Sydney. So far I have not seen mushroom growing in other centres apart from Tsong Rinpoche’s statue in Ladrang. Since mushrooms grow in Kuantan centre and this is auspicious. Definitely members will also grow very fast. Congratulations to you Leonard and your devoted team of members.
It was very inspiring for me to see so much devotion, efforts and care by our Kuantan Study group to inaugurate their chapel with the installation of Lama Tsongkapa into the space.
Congratulations, and may your efforts bring great benefits to the people in Kuantan and happiness to you.
What a wonderful occasion – with so much devotion, visibly, things are so properly done and beautifully meaningful! No wonder mushrooms blooms! We rejoice from Penang!
