Kechara Blooms!
On 19 March 2011, Kechara Blooms (KB) officially opened! It is one of the depts of Kechara. Kechara has 13 depts.
Initially, Kechara Blooms did a lot of inter-departmental jobs. All of the beautiful flower arrangements offered on the main altar of Kechara House gompa, are done by them… so are the floral decorations for our in-house events. However, as KB continued to expand their portfolio, companies started commissioning them for events! Now many people are contacting KB for flowers for their events and also ordering flowers online to be delivered to people.
They now have a Facebook page, where people take a look at their designs. Many are ordering over the internet also now and flowers are sent to me from people all over the world. Thank you very much! I get flowers from people all over the world on their birthdays, holidays and special days. Some send me flowers to thank me for some teachings they said benefitted them that I had given..touching. They like to celebrate their special days with me by sending flowers..so kind.
Flower arrangement is very therapeutic… many of those behind the current flower designs learned everything about flowers from scratch! It is due to their professionalism and love of what they do, that they have mastered the skill so quickly. I’m very proud of Kechara Blooms! Kechara people can do so much!

Our girls from Kechara Bloom are really amazing!!! Lately they had a Deepavali celebration decoration!!!
And from the pictures above, they really produced world class decoration.

The flower arrangement are BEAUTIFUL! Yes, KB have BLOOMED indeed! I remember when they first started, they have to struggle from scratch but now they know a lot from experiences! And I must say, I REALLY love it. I was not a fan of flowers but KB changed my view! Especially the ones done at the functions. Interesting designs! And I know for sure, they have been very very busy as business is growing! Congratulations!
Those flower arrangements are truly beautiful!!!! If we are gonna spend a certain amount on flowers, why not get the flowers from Kechara Blooms? How often do we come across a florist outlet which is non profit and supports a BUddhist organization?
It is a win-win situation when we buy from KB because we are purchasing the flowers on one and supporting the Dharma work at the same time. The flower arrangements and deco is fantastic!

This is our very own Florist shop which led by Liaison Paul Yap, Kechara Bloom’s flower arrangement is very beautiful and they are getting more and more order for wedding dinner decorations.
I’ve seen much different style of flower arrangement nowadays in KB, obviously they have put in a lot of effort to improve their skill to make beautiful flower arrangement. Thank you for the sharing, loves the photos.. 🙂

Wow! Kechara Blooms have indeed done tremendous work with the floral arrangements. I think flowers are such beautiful way to make a living space come alive. These beautiful creations are just so well done and its amazing that they are made of real flowers. I think the quality of the floral creations have gone up another few notches since the inception of Kechara Blooms.
I think the flowers are creative way for us to make wonderful offerings to Kechara House, to Rinpoche and our very own altars of course. It is nice because the funds that we would normally spend on the outside now can go back to the organisation to fund its various department. Its nice to make flower offerings because it reminds of us impermanence. I know Rinpoche loves some flowers more than others. I think he loves roses, tuberoses and eucalyptus I believe. On top of that, he enjoy bouquets with exotic looking flowers as well. Kechara Blooms does offer extensive range of flowers that can cater to any budget and that’s why I love it because we are not just limited to the available flowers in the refrigerator.

Beautiful! These photos look like something straight out of Etsy or the flower boards on pinterest. I’m so impressed and so proud to know the girls (and Paul!) behind Kechara Blooms. They sure have come a long way in their ideas, creations and designs, and are able to create arrangements that not only suit the themes perfectly but bring fresh new, modern ideas and twists.
They’ve done some beautiful single arrangements for me since they began too. I go to them with a request and a picture of something I’d like – and not only will it be done just as I requested… but even better! Here’s an example of an arrangement they recently did for me for a friend’s mother – super cute, chirpy, happy little posie!

Whenever i’m in the area, i just love popping into the shop , feast my eyes on the glorious colours of the flowers, inhale deeply the divine fragrances , have a little chat with the super friendly and beautiful ladies at the shop, pick up and cuddle the cute soft toys that are there and have big hugs with Tick Tock and Bubbles , whenever their mommies bring them in to work.
It’s just a wonderful and happy place to be in!!!!!
The floral arrangements are very nice. They are creatively arranged and very pleasing to the eyes. Its great that Kechara Blooms are now being sought after by corporate companies for their events. A feather in the cap for KB!

Truly magnificent and stunning floral arrangements. The artistic flair of Kechara Blooms’s team is apparent. A gift of flowers is often seen as something personal but is often seen as a cop out when we just grab a bouquet from the florist… however if the florist does it with care and with the precise needs of the client it can then transcend into that extra touch just merely from choosing the right florist. For me, this is precisely what Kechara Bloom offers!
Wonderful! I love the creative designs KB makes. They use so many different types of flowers in wonderful combinations that make one go ‘Wow’… such beautiful flower arrangement is definitely not easy and demands a great deal of experience and talent.

I love their flower arrangement which are so beautiful, creative, modern and yet with a affordable price. It is suitable for both as a offerings to Rinpoche and Buddha, as well as for the special occasions of public functions such as weddings, launching, etc.

These flower arrangements are stunning! Well done to the whole Kechara Blooms team who are always improving their presentations. Flowers are great, they are not only pleasing to our eyes, but also as Rinpoche has said – therapeutic.
It is very nice for Kechara to have a florist of it’s own, so that Kechara can be self-sufficient when it comes to flower arrangement supplies. This helps not only to cut down a lot of costs but also promotes convenience and efficiency.
I love flowers within Kechara Bloom (KB). They are very fresh, unique and pretty. It is also nice to see that KB has ventured out to receive orders from outside.
May KB continue to equip themselves with more innovative and special flower arrangements and that it will continue to grow and outshine other florists!!!

These flower arrangements are beautiful. Even though I am not a flower lover, I still find them very attractive. However, what impresses me most is what Kechara Blooms has achieved in less than 2 years time. They learned everything from scratch, yet they can do so much now.
Their spirit is what make me respect them, every time when I walked passed Kechara Blooms, I can see the staffs there working very hard, trying and learning new designs and arrangements, yet they always show me a happy smiling faces.
This kind of spirits is what makes Kechara grows. Thank you all.
