Question asked by Ethan
Dear Pastors,
I am trying to do dharma healing practices for mental health problems. There are a lot of healing practices that might be relevant – Medicine Buddha, Black Manjushri, Dorje Shugdan, White Tara, etc. as well as tonglen and also other practices that are thought of more as purification practices such as Vajrasattva. How important is it to do the "correct" practice for a specific type of problem? Is it better to do multiple such practices or to focus one's efforts more narrowly? What other considerations enter into formulating one's practice to address specific problems as in this case? Further, how important might it be have pujas done for oneself in case of difficult, persistent, and longstanding problems? Thanks for any insights or suggestions you can share and thank you for the work that you do to benefit beings around the world.

Thank you Rinpoche with folded hands.
