Why exactly is there a need to post the practice of Miyo Lozangma? As she is a worldly protectoress much like the Tenma and Nechung, why then would one practice her? Especially lay people as posted here on the website? Isn't there a risk that they may misuse this reserved practice and it may actually do more harm than good, especially as this is a reserved practice? What cycle does this cycle come from of Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo? Where does Dorje Gegkyi's come from?
Also, why does Rinpoche propagate spirits and all these delusional superstitions of UFOs, Big Foot, yetis, etc.? Are they not simply the mind's delusions and one should not be getting people involved with more delusions and they should be focusing on the enlightened path rather than going more into mundanity? Seeing how the Eye Practice Rinpoche gives hasn't cured his eyes, I don't see how this is credible.
OCD is characterised by irrational fear or obsession that triggers repetitive actions. Many people suffering from OCD are aware that their actions are illogical, but when they try to ignore the urge to perform a particular action, their anxiety increases until they eventually give in to their compulsion.
According to the National Institute of Mental Health, OCD affects 1% of the adult population in the United States alone. OCD does not discriminate and can affect anyone regardless of race, gender or age. It has great implications on a person’s quality of life and can affect their emotional health, education, career and even their social and personal life as their obsessions can result in hours of repetitive ritualistic behaviour, thus preventing them from doing other things.
