Question asked by Harold M
On this website under "Dorje Shugden", go to "Namkra Barzin" and you will see near the bottom of Tsem Tulku's article is a reference to "Me thar" a member of Dorje Shugden's retinue. He references is part of Namkar Barzin found in the book "Oracles and Demons." It states that "Me thar" was the treasurer of Tengyeling Monastery and was skinned alive by the Dalai Lama's troops in 1912 when they destroyed the monastery. It states he became a demon and was subdued by Serkong Rinpoche and joined the retinue of Dorje Shugden. Could you tell me more about "Me thar" such as which part of Dorje Shugden's retinue he can be found in. Does he have a mantra and a sadhana practice? We who believe in Dorje Shugden all know about Kache Marpo and Namkra Barzin but very little else about his retinue.

Dear Harold M,
I have not received any teachings about Me Thar from His Eminence Tsem Rinpoche, so unfortunately I do not know much about his practice. If H.E teaches about Me Thar, I will be sure to post back her with the answers. I’m sorry i couldn’t be of more help.
