Question asked by Silk
Dear Pastors
Thank you very much for answering my questions. I believe the answers I get is from Pastor Susan. I have a problem. Lately I am rushing to re-string some malas for the KSJC and I gets tired mentally and doing my daily sadhana was like a terrible experience keeping my eyes open for one and a half hours and sometimes I forgot what I have done. If I have missed out or done it incorrectly would it create demerits for myself . I get so tired that I do 3 malas instead of 10 malas and each day I told myself I will do my sadhana early but always ended up late because I got distracted. Any good advice for me.
Thank you very much. _/\_
Discipline is a quality we all need to cultivate and doing sadhanas sure is a way to push ourselves to go beyond our own comfort zones. You will not create demerits but will not derive the result if the practice is done as how it should wholeheartedly with focus and good motivation. There will always be this and that valid reason which we use to justify for our lack of time and energy to engage in sadhanas. However, it is up to us to view how important our sadhana is as well as completing everything else that we need to get done (secular or dharma work) If we really want anything good, then make a firm mind to pursue it all the way..
