It’s in the scriptures they exist…

There has never been doubt among Tibetans, Nepalese, Bhutanese, North Indians, Mongols of Siberia these extraordinary creatures exist. Their countries are vast and largely unexplored can contain many species of animals… Tibetan high lamas of great standing have reported seeing Yetis or bigfoots… I met a few Tibetans who have seen these creatures also they casually related to me…

The Bhutanese believe if one is impure, then when you encounter a Yeti (bigfoot or in Bhutanese: Migyur) will invoke his wrath and he may kill you.

They met a lama at the National Library who shows an 18th Century scripture based on an older scripture that identify and classify what a Yeti or bigfoot is… much interesting footage. It is not a mystery for the them but confirmed many Bhutanese people, Scholars, Doctors and Lamas have sighted the Yeti. A complete description is written of the Yetis in the medical texts and describes them as animals.

This is a very interesting episode of scientist traveling in Bhutan searching for the Yeti. Bhutan bordering Tibet has some of the highest mountains in the world with lush vegetation easy to sustain the diet of a Yeti.

There’s a man who is contracted by the King of Nepal to specially search for Yetis three times a year and give reports. Royal Yeti search… interesting. They also document a woman who was captured by a Yeti or bigfoot.

You must watch this!! Very interesting investigation of the Bigfoot or Yeti in Bhutan. Beautiful country.

It is sponsored by National Geographic.

P.S. Bigfoot/Yetis have been part of Tibetan/Mongolian/Nepalese/ Western Russia/Bhutan and North India’s culture since the beginning of their written and unwritten history. The people in these regions talk about it as part and parcel of their land and existence. They share their lands especially the forests with these special beings we call Bigfoot/yeti. Again I like to stress no one needs scientific proof that they exist in these regions. To them it’s like any other animals they have spotted generation after generation for hundreds of years. Why prove something people always see, describe, encounter, live with and the ancient Tibetan texts describe in detail. In Tibet, the Yetis have often been seen to kidnap women. The women are not seen again. They are seen to lift up yaks (huge) easily and carry them away to eat. People never challenge these beings and are afraid of them when they encounter them for sure. I have spoken to Tibetans who have told me of their encounters and think nothing of it. They find it interesting I want to know more of their encounters because it is NORMAL to them. Yes normal to see these beings for them. It’s like interviewing an Australian about a kangaroo. I’ve never seen one and it’s common to them but not for me.

Do you believe in the Yeti or bigfoot? Why or why not? Why do you think until now modern man cannot capture one? Do you think the Bhutanese are just talking about a myth or their country’s wilderness does have living Yetis? Leave me your comments. I am very fascinated by this… Thanks…

It’s in the 18th century scriptures with complete description of Yetis or bigfoot tells us they do exist. Its written in the medical texts which had proven that these creatures described as animals.
Well Tibetans, Nepalese, Bhutanese and so forth do believe the existence of Yeti or bigfoot many centuries ago. These creatures said to inhabit the Himalayan region of Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet. Many explorers, mostly in the Mount Everest area, Bhutanese people, high lamas have reported seeing these legendary animal. So much so researchers and scientist team travelled to Bhutan searching for the so called Yeti.
Bhutan is a unique country both culturally and environmentally. Perched high in the Himalaya, and is lanced by deep ravines and natural thick forest.
Interesting watched of the video tells us more, travelling into the thick forest and stories from the man who helped the team in the investigation of the Bigfoot or Yeti in a small, landlocked country Bhutan. Evidence of the yeti’s existence has yet to be found, despite all their efforts.
    Thank you Rinpoche for sharing.

Bhutan, the land of the thunder dragon, a small beautiful landlocked country nestled deep in the Himalayas between India and China. Yeti is a folkloric ape-like creature taller than an average human, that is said to inhabit the Himalayan mountains. The Yeti continues to live on in the collective belief and consciousness of the Himalayan mountain people. This mysterious creatures, has been spotted wandering in a forest by the locals. This lead to a group of scientist traveling to Bhutan in search of yeti . Using modern technology instruments and others to check if Yeti do exist. They even do research on animal skins, foot prints and so forth. Very interesting video in their investigation of the Bigfoot or Yeti tells all. I do believe the Yeti and Bigfoot exist . Till to this day, there is still no hard evidence . The clearing of forest have driven the Yeti deeper into the raw forest. All stories are from eye witnesses and pictures caught on camera. The ancient scriptures with the monks do proof that the Yetis do exist thousand years ago. It cannot be wrong.
Thank you Rinpoche for this interesting sharing.

Curious about the legendary Yeti? Not sure what to believe? Here is an article that explores a range of sources, from folktales to newspaper reports, detailing sightings and encounters with the elusive creature, who has been a part of the very fabric of various Himalayan communities for thousands of years. Read about religious beliefs, myths, fables and stories by scholars and travellers alike, and realise that there is more to the Yeti than you previously thought.

In 1967, Bob Gimlin and Roger Patterson stumbled across an incredible sight whilst out in Bluff Creek, in the California wilderness. At a creek which had been freshly washed-out by recent floods, they witnessed a female Bigfoot swiftly traverse the rugged landscape. Since their filmed encounter with the Bigfoot, who has since been nicknamed Patty, many have disputed the authenticity of their recording but no one has been able to successfully prove that it is a fake.

Credits for this video goes to entirely to windvale for the original footage. ?

Bhutan is one of the unexplored country in the world. The Yeti is a legendary creature of the snow-covered Himalayas. Numerous sightings have been reported and many footprints have been spotted, Over the years. Most of the evidence of the Yeti comes from sightings and reports including high Lamas who also saw it. Incredible , an 18 th Century scripture at the Nation Library showed that Its true enough to be a Yeti found in the remote mountain of Bhutan. Generation after generation for hundreds of years ,in the scripture its a yeti as stated. Many scientist travelled to Bhutan searching for the Yeti, yet the existence of the Yeti remains unproven. There is no hard evidence of the existence. But i do believe it does exist in Bhutan.
Thank you Rinpoche for sharing this interesting post.

While the scientific world will not accept any information /news of sightings of Yetis to be the truth unless backed by scientific evidence,in the East ,especially in the Himalayan countries like Tibet, Nepal, Bhutan and others, these beings have existed for a long time ,even before recorded history. They have come to accept them as part and parcel of their lives as they would normal wild animals living in their jungles and forests. The Bhutanese even think that these yetis will be hostile or violent only to people who are impure.Hence all these countries treat Yetis with respect. There is even a scripture from these parts that say that Yetis exist!

On the other side of the world, there is a stubborn effort to deny its existence.Take the case of the deliberate squashing of real evidence , despite so many witnesses, of a dead yeti crushed to death by a falling spruce tree in the wake of a heavy storm in Oregon. The story was killed by the authorities just like that!

It’s difficult to deny their existence as sightings are still reported. Each sighting adds weight to an increasingly growing body of evidence.

Bigfoot is just another beings living in this world although not commonly seen and live in the deep jungle in high mountains. There were many evidences that people from many parts of the world sighted this beings. Whatever shape they are I think importantly we are all sharing this world and therefore need to have mutual respect and not intervene each others.

You have bring something interesting in my life. LOL because never think there are some other creatures existing in our planet. Besides rumors said that space alien does visiting the earth but not much evidence to show that is truth. Big foot from the article that you have share much more relevant because lama wouldn’t tell lies. I believe that Big foot does exist. Thanks this wonderful share.

Here in Oklahoma, USA, we have many reports of bigfoot. We have even had television shows based here called Bigfoot City, which was all about how in southeastern Oklahoma there are many reported sightings and encounters.

Dear friends, This is a very good documentary on bigfoot. It is very scientific and examines a new footage of a bigfoot running very fast. Examines and gives you reasons why this cannot be a man or a person in a suit..very nice. I’ve not seen this one before. – https://video.tsemtulku.com/videos/BigfootStabilised.mp4

I’ve got news for anyone who isn’t already aware, there WAS AND IS a real Sasquatch body that was found dead, witnessed & photographed by dozens of people back in the 60’s right after the Columbus Day wind storm in Oregon. Crews were sent out in various areas to clear the mountain roads of all the fallen trees due to the storm. One crew found the body, crushed by a downed Spruce, killing the being. It was face down under the tree & already dead. MANY people witnessed this. It was loaded onto a flatbed truck & hauled off by authorities. There is/was a case number and strong evidence that the bones & complete autopsy & any other lab work, are in the possession of the Smithsonian Institution, secretly of course. There are just too many witnesses to dispute this event. The government seized all the photo’s they could from various people, but not all were recovered. It was described as a female, 7′ 6″ tall and weighed over 600 lbs. I hope that the few people still alive, with possession of these photo’s, will somehow get them onto the internet. Time will tell. This incident truly happened. Crews had to cut the section of the huge Spruce tree away, and block & tackle or some type of hoist had to be used to load the body onto the flatbed truck. Authorities ran everyone off rather quickly. I’ve read several eyewitness testimonies. Back then, the story was covered by local media, but the powers that be, killed the story, therefore never making it to mainstream media. If you don’t believe me, google it. It can also be found on a couple youtube channels. Use the words: “1960’s Columbus Day wind storm in Oregon, results in recovered Sasquatch body killed by tree”, or something along those lines.

    MY EXPERIENCE WITH BIGFOOT

Very good show. I believe the Yeti and Bigfoot exist 100%. The first and only time I heard the cry of the Bigfoot in Southern BC Canada … it was a sound I had never heard before … it was a sound unlike any other sound I’ve ever heard … it was frightening and sorrowful all at the same time … it made the hairs stand up all over my body. I was living alone in a tipi in the Mountains and outside preparing firewood for winter. When I heard the sound, an image of Bigfoot immediately came into my mind. I’ve heard the sounds that bears make, it was not a bear. Bears visited my camp regularly and I had to chase them off with a slingshot. I’ve heard the cry of the wolf; no comparison; I’ve heard the cry’s of the mountain lion, it was nothing like that; I’ve heard the sounds of wolverines, pigs, ravens, eagles … it was none of those. I remember I didn’t sleep very well that night. I stood outside for a long time and made the fire a little bigger so I could see around me. This happened in the Fall of 1996 … I will never forget. I’d heard stories about Bigfoot all my life. I had seen all the evidence presented in various documentaries and publications over the years; I had heard that they take women in particular and because I wished to protect myself, I remember yelling into the night … “I can no longer bear any children … I am of no use to you.” What did it matter, there was nobody there to hear what I said … my message was to the Bigfoot, crying in the night.

It is certainly refreshing on the memory to again watch this well made documentary. A scientific documentary with a qualified team equipped with modern day equipment and experienced local guide and tracker. I like the ending part where the single hair with follicle was presented to the experts for dna analysis yet the result was inconclusive.

I think that they do exist. They are just another species that we humans has not found. They do exist, and I believe the reason for them not allowing us to find is because they are afraid that we will harm them. This is true because we humans have harmed so many species of animals in so many different ways that I do not even dare to think what will happen to the bigfoot when we do find them.

  19. pavara on Aug 10, 2013 at 4:20 pm

In my opinion the Yeti does exist not because i have seen them but because monks and science does not lie.
There are many footage’s that shows that Bigfoot exist.
Anyway whether you have seen Bigfoot or not it does not mean it does not live.
I believe that what we see may not be real but what you don’t see may be real.

  20. Sean Wang on Feb 6, 2013 at 7:27 pm

I believe that bigfoot exists. If he does not exist now, then he probably did exist at one point of time. Why is it not possible? It is possible that while evolving, there are some of the apes that did not fully evolve into humans and they are called the “Missing Link”. Bigfoot IS the missing link.

A lot of people think that our world in fully discovered but in truth, only a small percentage of Earth has been discovered. We cannot deny what could possibly exist just because it has not been proven.

The scriptures claim that they exist. So, why deny it? The scriptures hold pure teachings, why would they decide to lie over a small matter? Also, those days, Bigfoot was not as popular as it is now, so there would be no point adding bigfoot lore into the scriptures if it is not factual.

  21. thomas lim on Aug 21, 2012 at 10:36 pm

Yes, Bigfoot existed on earth. They have been hiding from the human for many thousand of years except we do not know precisely where they came from. It could be a species that migrated from another planet thousand of years ago and have been living in the Himalayan mountains to avoid being captured. Through the years, the yeti slowly dwindled away their numbers leaving behind only a few. They were sighted becos due to shortage of foods, the Yeti is roaming down the lower part of the Himalayan mountain seeking foods for his family. They can be harmless but when provoke they can be violent and aggressive.

  22. Julia Tan on Jul 4, 2012 at 3:17 am

Yeti does exist in the snow mountain. Look at the picture inside the scripture. It has been proven me.

I believe there are many types of creatures that we have seen or not seen living in this big piece of land, in the snow mountain or in the deep big ocean. They could be the guardian for this snow land or the kind of the ocean. We may see or may not see them but it doesn’t matter. They are just one of the sentient being living in this 6 realms.

I feel disturbing knowing that these people are setting up trap or camera to capture the Yeti. They are not getting anything out of it because Yetis know that people are coming after them. Hence they will hide themselves away to the mountain..

    Yeti deserve privacy too!

  23. Lim KH (JB) on Jun 27, 2012 at 4:50 am

I strongly believe they are exist and even in the scriptures already noted it down. They are just become extinct so we hard to find them.

We always heard story from elders like Dragon and Phoenix, we will believe but till now we cant see it with our own eyes. But the image of Dragon and Phoenix we always see. If they are not exist how we can get the image so clear until now?

Unlike the ocean which is largely still undiscoverable, even the deepest forests, when subject to the cruel curiosity of Man, can be scoured and if the Yeti exists, it will eventually be found no matter how intelligent it is, if we go by normal scientific standards or logic.

But then, what if the Yeti is there for another purpose? Like a protector of High Lamas who go into the forests to meditate? Won’t the Yeti be protected from us too? How else to explain why they might have been sighted but never really found or captured?

Fascinating. But I too hope that we never find or, worse, capture one. Mankind is unfortunately too well-developed in the “art” of cutting things up in the name of science!

I believe Yeti does exist after watching the documentary where few people related their experience coming in contact with one. There were also some evidence collected in the museum of what is believed to be of the Yeti. My guess is the Yeti is a very intelligent being, that is why modern man is still not able to capture one. Maybe they could be being from another dimension too. It has really caught the fascination of so many people that a royal Yeti search is commisioned by the royal family of Nepal. For now it will remain as an unsolved mystery of our planet earth.

  32. Wan on Jun 15, 2012 at 6:55 pm

i believe Yeti is existed. Laos and Thais are believed in Naga and garuda and Chinese believed in dragon even though nobody can prove their existing.. Like what buddha said there are more than only one dimension in this world and there are other beings exist in this planet apart from what we can see with our delusion mind. We never see ghost either but they are exist..

I believe Yeti exist as I believe what is stated in the scriptures.
The Bhutanese believe its there and for them its not necessary to prove to the world its there, just let it be there. Even with all the advance scientific equipments, there’s still no prove of its existence. Not everyone can see ghosts, spirits and gods so why not yetis. It does not mean that if we cant see them, they do not exist. They could be existing in a different realms just like dragons. However, after watching this documentary and it still remain a mystery, I hope it will always remain a mystery as I would not like the yeti to be caught and subject to experiment. This is a very good documentary and Bhutan is very scenic and beautiful country.

  34. James Long on May 26, 2012 at 1:09 pm

I believe all these being exist just like Buddha had mentioned there are countless realms, world and beings out there just that we could not see or find them, does not mean they are not exist. Same as Karma, impermanant and reincarnation, whether we believe or not, they do exist and daily we are experience it with or without knowing.

  35. MayOng on May 24, 2012 at 8:16 pm

The Bhutanese believed there is such a being like the Yeti or Big Foot living in their mountains. However the Bhutanese respected these beings and do their best to keep out of their way except for experienced trackers. I believe there is such being in existence.

The western scientific team who pursued this also made it their mission to bring some kind of evidence of this Yeti being back to the labs and were fruitful. They got some kind of “hair” with its roots intact as well as fresh foot prints in the mud.

I can’t wait for the next sequel of this documentary and for someone to eventually meet these mysterious Yetis. I bet they are very, very shy creatures and fear us humans instead.

  36. Uncle Eddie on May 24, 2012 at 1:07 pm

As pointed out by Tsem Rinpoche, “Gimlin, who is till today still a huge celebrity in the bigfoot circles Worldwide, for filming such great footage of a bigfoot walking back in the 60’s from Willow Greek in North California that cannot be debunked till today.” In Tibet, it was also said that Domo Geshe Rinpoche who used to meditate in secluded caves and when he gained attainments, Yetis who were Himalayan bigfoots visited him, giving him special milk, with which he made into powerful healings pills, which even the 13th Dalai Lama and Panchen Lamas also wanted these pills. Scholars, doctors and Lamas have sighted Yetis. So far no scientists or any authority can say that the aforesaid(proofs) are fakes. Therefore, whatever depicted herewith are true existences, and there should’nt be any doubts unless otherwise proven.

If dinosaur exist yes, I do believe Yetis exist. These beings exist on a different dimension on earth. Why should scriptures and high lamas fabricate the stories of their existence….. it is not a bed time tale.

  38. Kathryn on May 24, 2012 at 3:37 am

Just let them be there…I like that. Paleontologists are continuing to discover new hominid species…the Denisovans in the Altai, the Au. Sediba in Australia…the Red Deer People in China. Brian Sykes is currently heading a more comprehensive genetic analysis of Yeti samples through Oxford University. There are myths of the Yeti in numerous cultures throughout the Northern Hemisphere…yes, I do think there is something there. Their extreme elusiveness suggests learned behaviors over time…intelligence. They are solitary…never sighted in pairs, or groupings…this is intriguing. Their habitat is remote, mountainous, forested regions…perhaps there were many more of them in prior centuries.

The first time I read about bigfoot was when I was maybe 12 or 13 years old. I was at the place of my mum’s friend, she had a book published by Reader Digest on mysteries of the world. There was a lot of paranormal, supernatural incidents covered in the book and Bigfoot was one of it. I was very attracted to all these mysterious things.

I believe in the existence of Bigfoot, not only in Bhutan, in US and Canada, people claimed to have seen it. One lady the crew interviewed said ‘this is how nature works, lots of unexplained’. I totally agree with her statement.

Even though the crew did not have any footage on the Yeti but one hair sample did suggest the existence of this specie. The DNA they have obtained from the hair did not match any of the known specie at all.

  40. Siong Woan on May 23, 2012 at 10:02 am

Bigfoot, Lock Ness Monster, alien, spirits and ghosts – they all exist in this universe and beyond. I believe they are one of us who are still caught in cyclical existence in one of the six realms.. we should treat them with loving kindness and recognize that they are in their present forms due to their karma.

  41. Valerie on May 23, 2012 at 4:49 am

My hope is that they never find the Yeti, because humans tend to capture, imprison, or kill animals that they come across.

  42. Sharon Saw on May 23, 2012 at 3:01 am

I believe the yeti exists. Partly because i have heard from a Tibetan that he has seen them and apparently it’s quite normal. Also i believe because there are so many creatures not yet discovered, whether on land or in the sea and new species are being discovered as our tracking devices improve. I think it’s just a matter of time when there will be scientific proof.

Even if there is no proof, if it is stated in the scriptures, i am inclined to believe it. After all, as Rinpoche says – how do we prove the existence of Kechara Paradise but we all believe it exists!

  43. Datuk May on May 22, 2012 at 9:34 pm

Many species of animals have become extinct and we believed they existed. For instance, the Chinese believe in the existence of the dragon and from thousands of years had pictures and drawings of them. Did they really existed? No trace of them so far, then is it the imagination. Maybe.

I believe the Yeti exists although for those who needs proof have not found too much of it. In the same instance of the Dragon, Buddhist scriptures have spoken of and drawn pictures of the Yeti. That to me is written proof from people who had the experience.

  44. KH Ng on May 22, 2012 at 6:56 pm

Yes I believe the Yeti exist or existed. The scientist has a DNA that is not human not bear nor anything known. Also, the high Lamas do not lie. The reason I think that we have not captured one or even film it convincingly is that the Yeti are intelligent, strong and agile.
The Bhutanese has been talking about it for ages like the native Americans about the Bigfoot or Sasquatch. Like the “proof” that ghost exist; in ancient times when communication was very poor; no telephone, internet and people travel for years just to reach remote countries, independent accounts of ghosts and the consistency of these accounts, proves that ghost exist. Same with the Yeti and the Big Foot.
Also, we can never prove something do not exist. That is nature and logic. Because in the vast earth and universe, everything has a potential to exist. We can only prove something exist by finding it. Everything else has the potential to exist also. This is what scientist called a conjecture.

I was hoping the video had some answers, but in the end, it is still a mystery… sigh… It is not a bear, nor human, and they can’t find a match to anything else…

I would tend to believe that bigfoot exist. If ghosts, spirits, gods can exist, why not bigfoot? May be they are in the same realm as the spirits or gods, which cannot be seen by most people.

Dear Rinpoche, I am curious to see scriptures with these beings in it 🙂 Do you have some which you can show to us? 🙂

    • tsemtulku on May 22, 2012 at 11:21 pm

I don’t have any scripture on Yeti…will have to get from Bhutan…but I have scriptures on another mystery..a place we can go but also scientifically cannot prove-Kechara Paradise!

      • andrew hibberd on Jun 18, 2012 at 12:47 pm

all i know is if we can imagine it together it can become this is the sum total of all of my study of us ( mankind ) if we can imagine paradise we can make it come true together

        Brilliant!

  46. Andrew Chiam on May 22, 2012 at 2:42 pm

    Hi Rinpoche,

I do not have clairvoyance to perceive the existence of Yeti, but deep inside I know they existed. In the lush of wilderness, any life form is possible. When I was small, I remember my parents always told me the Yeti was sighted in the Tibet-Siberia region. I was always fascinated and let my imagination run wilds. Sometimes, in the setting of the forest, I would imagine the Yeti as “huge” two leg monkey with thick brown hairy coat. Sometimes, in the background of snowy mountain, I would imagine Yeti as beautiful mystical creature, with thick pure white fur. Since I really have strong liking on mystical stuff, I would like my version of Yeti to be those of snowy white. I could feel that Yeti are peace loving creature and would shy from human population and would not be harming human unless if they feel threat.

So Rinpoche, what was your favourite, the brown or white version ? 😀

    With warmest regards and love,
    Andrew Chiam

    • tsemtulku on May 22, 2012 at 11:21 pm

      I like the brown one….hehehe

      • Andrew Chiam on May 23, 2012 at 3:04 pm

        Thanks 😀

        • andrew hibberd on Jun 18, 2012 at 1:03 pm

Andrew one thing i am confident of is when you eliminate fear from your being you see more clearly than when fear is your master

  47. Elena on May 22, 2012 at 1:34 pm

I definitely think they exist. Why not? It’s very plausible that somewhere along the lines of evolution, a branch of humanoids developed into the Yeti. Look at the polar bear – genetically like a bear but it got isolated from the brown bear family, and developed white fur to blend into its environment (http://science.howstuffworks.com/environmental/life/evolution/evolve-in-isolation.htm)

We think we know our world so well, but scientists are always discovering new creatures. So to me, modern man hasn’t captured one yet because (a) the Yetis are much better adapted to their environment than we are to theirs (b) they don’t want to be found hehehe

Du Fu (712-770 AD), also known as Tu Fu, was a prominent Chinese poet of the Tang Dynasty, often considered one of the greatest alongside Li Bai. He was a poet-historian and a poet-sage, known for his realistic depictions of human suffering and reflections on the troubled times of his era. His poems, reflecting his personal experiences and the political instability of the time, have had a lasting impact on both Chinese and Japanese literary traditions.
    Interesting read.

H H Kyabje Pabongka Dechen Nyingpo is by far one of the most popular and influential Gelug religious figures of the 20th Century. One of Phabongkha’s most important aristocratic students, Lhalu Lhacham Yangdzom Tsering relationship to her teacher and his lineage teachings goes along way .She is famously remembered for is her unwavering devotion towards her guru, HH Kyabje Pabongka Rinpoche. Yangdzom Tsering’s Shatra family were ancient sponsors and students of the Gelug tradition and had apparently been patrons of Tsongkhapa the founder of the Gelug school. The life stories of Lady Lhalu Lhacham Yangdzom as mentioned by Joona Repo is indeed inspiring. How her life struggles with tragedies, and her devotion to dorje Shugden and the Gelug tradition throughout her life.

Looking at these pictures remained me of my first pilgrimage to Wu Tai San. With the blessings of our guru, we able to visit Wu Tai San a significant Buddhist pilgrimage site . In fact it never did come to my mind that I am fortunate given a chance to go as I am still very new then. Upon hearing about the pilgrimage I got myself register without much thought. The history and stories of Wu Tai San has inspired me to go there. Interesting the Emperors Kangxi and Qianlong of China are closely connected to WuTai San. Wu Tai San located in Shanxi Province, China renowned as the home of Lord Manjushri the bodhisattva of wisdom, with different emanations of the bodhisattva residing on each of the five peaks. The area is dotted with over 50 temples and monasteries, many of which are historical and architecturally significant. Those temples built over 7 dynasties housing numerous Buddhist relics. Wutai Shan also offers stunning scenery, including snow-capped peaks, forests, and streams. Wu Tai San is one of the four Sacred Buddhist mountains of China, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wutai Shan was known to be a mystical and sacred site inhabited by divine spirits, accompanied by unusual events, such as miraculous light appearances at night.
We visited all the Holy sites, making offerings and doing prayers at each sites. We even have the opportunity to collect holy stones for future statue insertion or to keep on our altars. Times flies as our pilgrimage ended with so many stories to share with the rest.
Thank you Rinpoche and writes team sharing those pictures.

Padmasambhava, the Lotus-born Guru, also known as Guru Rinpoche is a legendary tantric Buddhist master who is widely revered in Tibetan Buddhism. He is seen as the second Buddha particularly within the Nyingma .He was a legendary Indian Buddhist mystic credited with introducing Vajrayana Buddhism to Tibet in the 8th century. As found in Buddhist scriptures Padmasambhava birth is often associated with legends and prophecies. Interesting…… Padmasambhava is depicted with eight manifestations, each reflecting a different aspect of his miraculous activities. Interesting article .

Milarepa Cave, situated high in the Himalayan mountain of Tibet, a sacred cave beckons pilgrims and spiritual seekers from across the globe. Milarepa Cave, a site of profound significance in Tibetan Buddhism, is merely a geological wonder. This sacred cave is also a living testament to the power of meditation and devotion. Its where an 11th-century yogi and poet who spent transformative years in solitary practice. Milarepa Cave graces Tibet’s rugged yet stunning landscapes, a region renowned for its deep spiritual heritage and breath-taking natural beauty. The cave’s importance is inseparable from a revered figure and the enduring legacy of Jetsun Milarepa a revered yogi and poet in Tibetan Buddhism. Milarepa Cave stands not just as a geological formation but as a powerful symbol of spiritual transformation and the enduring strength of Tibetan Buddhism. Reading this interesting cave had me Google for more information about this sacred cave. Numerous stories and legends surround Milarepa’s time in the cave, enhancing its mystical aura.

I wanted to take a moment to share a recent experience with you regarding my Instagram account. Unfortunately, my account was hacked, which was both frustrating and disappointing. Losing access to something that plays a significant role in my business and personal connections was incredibly stressful. What made the situation even more challenging was discovering that Meta does not have a dedicated support team to assist users facing account compromises. With so many people experiencing this issue daily, it’s alarming that their recovery process is not more accessible or efficient. After numerous failed attempts to recover my account through Meta’s standard procedures, I was fortunate enough to get in touch with a member of the Meta recovery department, @Rothsteincode on X (formerly Twitter), and via email at rothsteincode@gmail.com Their expertise and guidance were invaluable, and thanks to their assistance, I was able to regain full access to my account.
While I am incredibly grateful for their help, this experience has highlighted a major issue—Meta needs to implement better security measures and provide more reliable support for users dealing with these kinds of problems. The lack of direct customer support is unacceptable, considering how vital social media platforms have become for businesses and individuals alike.I wanted to share this with you in case you or anyone you know ever faces a similar issue. If you ever find yourself in this unfortunate situation, I highly recommend reaching out to @Rothsteincode for assistance. Hopefully, Meta will take action to improve their security policies and customer service in the near future.Thank you for taking the time to read this. Stay safe online, and let’s continue to support each other in this digital space.

A great history of a great yogi which I do enjoy reading , reading over it again and again. Jetsun Milarepa was a famous Tibetan siddha, known as a murderer when he was a young man. Who later turning to Buddhism and becoming a highly accomplished Buddhist disciple. Generally considered as one of Tibet’s most famous yogis and spiritual poets, whose teachings are known among several schools of Tibetan Buddhism. Milarepa’s story is one of struggle, anguish, resolve, and triumph all of which make him recognizably. Practicing these teachings for many years in isolated mountain retreats in caves such as caves hidden deep in the mountains of Tsum Valley. That’s where Milarepa attained enlightenment and gained fame for his incredible perseverance in practice and for his spontaneous songs of realisation. Milarepa is said to be the first to achieve the state of Vajradhara in one lifetime. That’s incredible.

H.H Kyabje Zong Rinpoche was a Gelug Lama, a sharp analyst, master of philosophical debate and a Tantric practitioner. Kyabje Zong Rinpoche was a disciple of the third Trijang Rinpoche, junior tutor of the 14th Dalai Lama. Rinpoche was known as a strong, detached and wrathful lama having impeccable knowledge of all rituals, art and science. Thousands of Westerners have received and benefited from his teachings both in the West and in India and gave many empowerments and teachings as well. Visiting Tibet, holy Gaden Monastery is everyone dream and a once life time. Of course if we have the means to visit again will be great. End of December 2008 and early January 2009 our Guru H E Tsem Rinpoche with a small group students visited Tibet. Thousands of pilgrims, visitors and tourists around the world have visited this incredible holy land for the last 600 years. Tsem Rinpoche visited Tibet for the first time with an oxygen tank. I am fortunate to visit this holy place with my Dharma brothers and sisters years back.
With our Guru blessing we went without any without any hitch. Visited most of the monasteries and could feel the powerful energies there. Looking at those pictures in this blog reminds me of trip there.

Interesting….. a ground breaking documentary by world BBC where everyone should watch. BBC did mentioned and documented that Jesus was a Buddhist monk and that he had spent some years in India. I would not know about this till I came across this blog. Many people most probably too. Interesting watch one should not miss. Jesus was a religious leader revered in Christianity, one of the world’s major religions. He is regarded by most Christians as the Incarnation of God. Historical evidence indicates that Jesus was well acquainted with Buddhism. Historical evidence indicates that Jesus knew about Buddhism. Other evidence, while perhaps apocryphal, indicates that he spent most of his so-called lost years outside Judea, possibly in Kashmir to study Buddhism exclusively.

The Great Buddhas of Bamiyan were two monumental Buddhist statues built around 600 CE. A holy site for Buddhists on the Silk Road, historically a caravan route linking the markets of China with those of the Western world. The two most prominent statues were the giant standing sculptures of the Buddhas .It was the site of several Buddhist monasteries where monks at the monasteries lived as hermits. It was until in 2001, both statues were destroyed by the Taliban . Before being blown up in 2001, they were the largest examples of standing Buddha carvings in the world .Buddhism was eliminated in Afghanistan by the 13th century during the Mongol conquests. Sadly all statues depicting humans in Afghanistan was destroyed. They were perhaps the most famous cultural landmarks of the region, and the site was listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Despite the Buddhas’s destruction, the ruins continue to be a popular culture landmark, where many locals, pilgrims and tourist visit the site.

The Unknown

The Known and unknown are both feared,
Known is being comfortable and stagnant,
The unknown may be growth and opportunities,
One shall never know if one fears the unknown more than the known.
Who says the unknown would be worse than the known?
But then again, the unknown is sometimes worse than the known. In the end nothing is known unless we endeavour,
So go pursue all the way with the unknown,
because all unknown with familiarity becomes the known.

What the meat industry figured out is that you don't need healthy animals to make a profit.
Sick animals are more profitable... farms calculate how close to death they can keep animals without killing them. That's the business model. How quickly they can be made to grow, how tightly they can be packed, how much or how little can they eat, how sick they can get without dying... We live in a world in which it's conventional to treat an animal like a block of wood. ~ Jonathan Safran Foer
