在考获墨尔本莫纳什大学商业和统计学学位后，威廉同时获得好几家公司的录取，在金融业工作了九年，并在一家著名分销公司担任总经理之后，威廉开始想要寻找更多的东西。正是在这个时候，威廉留意到在他密友身上发生的正面改变，让他对克切拉和佛法开始产生兴趣。

2011年，威廉决定加入克切拉，全职投入佛法工作。 自此，威廉透过拉章公关小组的工作，发现了触动他人生命所带给自己的喜悦和意义。 2016年，威廉被任命为克切拉人力资源组的负责人。
