Question asked by Paulo Sérgio
Dear Pastors, I hope you are well. Thanks to your guidance and the teachings of His Eminence Tsen Rinpoche, I am devoting myself to the practice of Buddha Vajrasattva. I am feeling very blessed, tranquil and protected. My questions for today are:
1- How to say and write with Tibetan characters, the expression "Sowing Light"?
2- How to write the short mantra of Vajrasattva, including the syllable "Phat" (Om Vajra Sattva Hum Phat) in Tibetan?
3 – I imagine that the various Tantric practices gradually appeared in the course of time. If I am right to think in this way, which is the oldest practice: Arya Tara Green or Prajnaparamita Buddha?
These are just these questions today. Gratitude for your affection. Hands in prayer … Om Vajra Sattva Hum! ??
Hello, Paulo Sérgio
1. Can you give me another definition of the expression. I am not familiar with this to see if we have it in Tibet.
2. Within out lineage, we recite the mantra as OM BENZA SATO HUM, without the PHET. I will attach a picture of this mantra for you.
3. Each of the tantras provide a different chronology of their practice. I do not think this has ever been worked out due to the large number of tantric practice. Neither have I read anywhere which is the oldest. Actually, it doesn’t matter which one came first or second, what matters is that they are all genuine and can lead us along the path to enlightenment. I hope this helps!
