Question asked by MARIO
NAMO
I feel confident and encouraged in asking for more.
Insofar I have received tremendous charity from Tsem Rinpoche. This is kindness of the Lama almost impossible to be repaid.
If I'm wrong due my ignorance, if it's completely impossible to repay,
Please let me know, otherwise I will search for an answer on my own.
In gratitude,
MARIO
Dear Mario,
The kindness shown by our Guru can indeed be repaid. The way we repay his/her kindness in showing us the Dharma, teaching us and guiding us is by transforming our minds and ultimately reaching higher states on our spiritual journey. We do this by learning more, but not just simply learning. We need to implement the teachings in our lives so that we become better people, and as we become better people then we progress on our spiritual path. This is the main way to repay our Guru’s kindness.
The second way is to support the Guru’s temple or organisation according to your means. That way the Guru’s work is preserved and spread, so that others also looking for the help are benefited by the Guru’s works. You can read more about the Kechara organisation here: https://www.kechara.com/
I hope this helps. Thank you.
