As you know Dorje Shugden for the last 400 years have had official oracles recognized by the monasteries and high lamas. I have never shared these pictures before and this is the first time. This is the famous Panglung monk oracle of Tibet who has been taking trance of Dorje Shugden, Setrap, Kache Marpo, Namka Barzin, etc for over 35 years. He was trained by His Holiness Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche and His Eminence Kyabje Domo Geshe Rinpoche. He was fully authorized and enthroned as an oracle of Dorje Shugden by His Holiness Trijang Rinpoche and Sera Mey Monastery. This oracle visited Kechara and took trance of Dorje Shugden and Kache Marpo. I’ve had the great honor to speak with my protector directly during this time again.

Recently, I have been open and vocal about my practice. As a result I am attacked and threatened online and insulted daily by Tibetans and their non-Tibetan friends whom I have never met. I don’t know them nor they know me. Yet they can attack me only because I practice Dorje Shugden in the 21st Century. These non-Tibetans who attack me and many other Shugden people online are from countries that are democratic and they enjoy full religious freedom. I say, if there is no ban or discrimination, then why am I attacked and insulted online daily just for my religious beliefs? Who started this negative rhetoric against Dorje Shugden practitioners? Of course the Tibetan leadership. The Tibetan leadership can easily publish online and issue instructions to the Tibetans not to discriminate against Dorje Shugden practitioners. If they did so, the attacks would stop overnight and so will the discrimination. But they don’t and they remain quiet.

I wish no harm to His Holiness whatsoever. I would like to request humbly for the unjust ban against the worship of Dorje Shugden to end. I fold my hands in respect and offer a white clean and pure khata to His Holiness the Dalai Lama and beg him to lift the ban against Dorje Shugden practitioners. Please instruct your people to stop discriminating against Dorje Shugden practitioners please.

Breaking samaya to the guru is very serious setback for our spiritual practice, for the growth of our mind and in general our overall peace. As the days pass by it will seem like nothing is happening, but we will see our attachments grow, anger grows and our distance to the dharma grows. We will be happy to engage in deeds that have no ultimate meaning and justify it and feel comfortable. We will fall back to the ways of how we were before meeting the dharma and feel comfortable. We will scourge our teachers and practice and start engaging in more actions that accumulate negative karma. Karma exists independent of our belief in it. We start enjoying what is negative and all that we hold sacred is not seen as sacred because the negative karma grows stronger.

Magadha Zangmo lived her life serving the Buddha and the Dharma, bringing benefit to countless beings who came to listen to Buddha’s teachings. It is said that she achieved Arhatship during her lifetime as a lay householder, another indication that a practitioner can gain realizations even when we are not living the life of a monk or nun. Her story is still taught in Buddhist curriculum of today, reminding us to be humble and to always seize the chance to be generous and make offerings to the Buddhas.

“Truth is within you’ and to discover that truth in the luminous light of perception was to transform the very nature of thought and consciousness. It was to awaken intelligence, insight and an abundant compassion. The total responsibility lay with the individual. No one could free another from bondage.

We just have to adapt and familiarize ourselves with something greater, better and with more long term in benefits. To realize in fulfilling the wishes of others may be difficult and the path is very painful but only pursuing one’s own wishes solely ends up worse. Pursuing the path to benefit oneself may seem easier and less problematic as you deal with just yourself but then how come our lives have been filled with pain, disappointment, fear and we sort of become numb and just live like zombies? We live and go through the motions of the day for the sake of the motions and we are numb about it is because we only pursue for ourselves. Because we have to now realize choosing ourselves over others was the cause of our pain and we should reverse our thinking now and work for others before we lose the chance. Yes, working for others is a huge responsibility, but then if we start immediately, we will get use to it and finally it becomes natural as it should be.~Tsem Rinpoche

For the last 30 years I have some dreams and wishes for myself that are unfulfilled. But so far I have not been able to pursue it them at all. If I did pursue my personal dreams, it would benefit just one person which is myself. Sometimes I feel longing for what I want to pursue and wish I can start. But it is more important to be of some benefit to others as they are more and I am one. I take comfort that although unable to pursue my own dreams, I can bring some hope, fulfillment and purpose to others. After all, life is not about one person but fulfillment. It is fulfilling to benefit many rather than one.~Tsem Rinpoche

I have helped by dharma, advice, money, works and gifts to countless many for decades. Many of them have ran, make up stories about me and some have cheated me and many stay. Some contribute and some do nothing or little. Some are unstable, some commit and some go all the way.

But I will not be stained by the 8 worldly dharmas nor affected by their behaviour, but remain steadfast in my resolve to benefit others even if they don’t benefit me. Whether they benefit me or not is not the criteria in which I help others or continue. My criteria is whether they help me or not or praise me or not, I must bring the message of Liberation from samsara to others. Some treat others badly because their samsara is so deep and only dharma can counter this. If I don’t bring dharma and be disheartened because of their behaviour to me then the situation will only get worse so since I know dharma, I must do something and continue. I must not let me and my feelings get in the way. Me and my feelings are not in the bigger equation. The bigger equation is to benefit others no matter how they treat me. I cannot stop something big to grow for somethings small (my feelings and disappointments). I cannot let one person’s pain and disappointment stop the benefit of many even if that one person is myself.

My purpose is to make dharma grow so there is a oasis (dharma-hope) in the desert (samsara-sufferings). How they treat me I will not let it affect me but drive me on to continue. I only ask for the blessings of Dorje Shugden. I seek to rise above me and will keep on that direction. I am not important compared to the countless. May their sufferings end and may I be the cause of this.

Lord Buddha’s enligtenment is testimony to compassion and love are fully possible to be embodied by one being.

We are here for such a short time. It is really good if we can contribute and make a positive impact on those around us and if possible the world. We should cherish each day as a day to contribute and not take. We should remember that whatever we give, our short time here would have been well worth it. Make it worth it.~Tsem Rinpoche

What Am I Writing Now

The Unknown

The Known and unknown are both feared,
Known is being comfortable and stagnant,
The unknown may be growth and opportunities,
One shall never know if one fears the unknown more than the known.
Who says the unknown would be worse than the known?
But then again, the unknown is sometimes worse than the known. In the end nothing is known unless we endeavour,
So go pursue all the way with the unknown,
because all unknown with familiarity becomes the known.

Buddha's delight, often transliterated as Luóhàn zhāi, lo han jai, or lo hon jai, is a vegetarian dish well known in Chinese and Buddhist cuisine. It is sometimes also called Luóhàn cài (simplified Chinese: 罗汉菜; traditional Chinese: 羅漢菜). The dish is traditionally enjoyed by Buddhist monks who are vegetarians, but it has also grown in popularity throughout the world as a common dish available as a vegetarian option in Chinese restaurants. The dish consists of various vegetables and other vegetarian ingredients (sometimes with the addition of seafood or eggs), which are cooked in soy sauce-based liquid with other seasonings until tender. The specific ingredients used vary greatly both inside and outside Asia. Is available at Kechara Oasis.

~Dharma is For Everyone~ Religion is just a label. It is the teachings of the religion that help nurture our innate goodness. Therefore I have always encouraged people of different backgrounds to practice their chosen religion with great faith and devotion. I will never try to distract and convert people from their religious teachers to Buddhism because I believe all major religions in the world teach their followers love, peace and compassion...~H.E. the 25th Tsem Rinpoche From: June Tang (Khjb)
