Blog Chat Etiquette

These are some simple guidelines to make the blog chat room a positive, enjoyable and enlightening experience for everyone. Please note that as this is a chat room, we chat! Do not flood the chat room, or post without interacting with others.

Be friendly

Remember that these are real people you are chatting with. They may have different opinions to you and come from different cultures. Treat them as you would face to face, and respect their opinions, and they will treat you the same.

Be Patient

Give the room a chance to answer you. Patience is a virtue. And if after awhile, people don't respond, perhaps they don't know the answer or they did not see your question. Do ask again or address someone directly. Do not be offended if people do not or are unable to respond to you.

Be Relevant

This is the blog of H.E. Tsem Rinpoche. Please respect this space. We request that all participants here are respectful of H.E. Tsem Rinpoche and his organisation, Kechara.

Be polite

Avoid the use of language or attitudes which may be offensive to others. If someone is disrespectful to you, ignore them instead of arguing with them.

Please be advised that anyone who contravenes these guidelines may be banned from the chatroom. Banning is at the complete discretion of the administrator of this blog. Should anyone wish to make an appeal or complaint about the behaviour of someone in the chatroom, please copy paste the relevant chat in an email to us at [email protected] and state the date and time of the respective conversation.

Please let this be a conducive space for discussions, both light and profound.

The best anyone can do if not enlightenment for now, is to gain mastery over taking rebirth coupled with developing Three Principle Paths. Where you want to take rebirth can be determined by yourself if you practice the sacred Vajra Yogini Tantra thoroughly.

I thought I would share this compilation for anyone wishing to practice without initiation and heavy commitments of tantra. Without initiation you can practice as I have compiled below. May you be blessed. May you be protected by the mystical, magical, peaceful, wrathful and secret emanations of Lord Manjushri until enlightenment.

Amongst all pujas, the fire puja is considered the king of all Pujas. It is the most powerful of all pujas within Tibetan Buddhism and its purpose is basically to remove all obstacles and its stains – drima to enlightenment.

Reincarnation forms the basis of Buddhism. It is the pillar of belief which gives rise to the cause and effect way of living or karma. Reincarnation has been followed not only by Buddhism but by the one billion Hindus currently and also in the past many religions including Christianity.

From time to time we come across some very special people who have many huge challenges in life. I’ve not met him or had the pleasure to inquire further, but the documentary is touching. Whatever they wish to do, their surroundings are not easy or conducive. But they don’t give up. They don’t just say it’s too hard. They continue and persevere and then they succeed under the most trying circumstances.

Dear Rinpoche, Thank you for your extensive works for living beings. Beautiful.

I’ve just completed notes from an oral commentary on Samayavajra I received from the attendant to the late Trijang Dorjechang, Gelong Losang Choepel, and searching images found a link to your Samayavajra Puja page where you offer to perform various pujas for others.

I’ve completed this preliminary many times, practice it daily within Lama Chopa, and was surprised and curious to see your mention of it as it is generally not talked about much…hence my request and receiving the commentary from Gen-la.

I see mention on your page of a small and medium sized puja. Does this mean you have short and long sadhanas of Samayavajra, or is this referring to the length of the puja performed for others? Having a special connection, I am interested in any information or other sadhanas about this Guru-Deity. I use the sadhana included in Guide to Dakini Land, with slight augmentation based on Gen-la’s commentary.

    Thanks again.

    Yours,
    james

The secret of a Master. ….. There was a silence. Then he said in a soft, almost shy voice, “You see, I don’t mind what happens”.

I don’t mind what happens. That is the essence of inner freedom. It is a timeless spiritual truth: release attachment to outcomes, and deep inside oneself – one will feel good no matter what. One will feel good because one is connected to, one with, the energy of the universe, the beauty and power of creation itself.

Or as the Master put it: “‘When you live with this awareness, this sensitivity, life has an astonishing way of taking care of you. Then there is no problem of security, of what people say or do not say, and that is the beauty of life.’

In Australia there is a famous saying
do not piss in anyones pocket

    the translation to english means
do not say sweet things to someone for benefit
    of you and yours

Where we live it is as if through our understanding of indigenous voice
and vision and the nasty way the english stole the country away from the indigenous ones that time is near where we can ask everyone to not visit here and let this island repair itself
Australia is not designed to have 100 million people we have hundreds of billions of sentient beings and animals we need to protect to become the lungs of the future of the world . check your science dont come here ,

The Unknown

The Known and unknown are both feared,
Known is being comfortable and stagnant,
The unknown may be growth and opportunities,
One shall never know if one fears the unknown more than the known.
Who says the unknown would be worse than the known?
But then again, the unknown is sometimes worse than the known. In the end nothing is known unless we endeavour,
So go pursue all the way with the unknown,
because all unknown with familiarity becomes the known.

This person in the picture with me is a very humble, kind and knowledgable senior monk. I have the great merits to be considered his friend. He has been very kind to me on many occasions. I have the deepest respects for him and he has been serving others for nearly 40 years as the personal authorized oracle of Dorje Shugden, Kache Marpo, Setrap, Shidak Gyenze. He was trained up as a monk oracle by His Holiness Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche and Kyabje Domo Geshe Rinpoche. He is fully qualified and benefits many with his oracular abilities. You can see him here in full trance in the monastery with hundreds of monks and people: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Xbghs-mdNc I thank Dorje Shugden for appearing in oracles to speak to us and I thank this oracle monk for his services. I've always not felt comfortable reading on computer screen for over a decade now. When I do, I feel I am slower. I thought it's just me, studies show it's most people. I am always faster and more efficient and catch more things when items are printed out for me. I enjoy books much more than reading online. I dread reading on the phone. I am super slow.Nice little trivia that affirms my habit.

Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche & Kyabje Ling Rinpoche doing Lama Chöpa in Bodhgaya in the 60s
In the 1960s, H.H. Yongzin Kyabje Ling Rinpoche would always organize Lama Chöpa (Guru puja-composed by Panchen Rinpoche) with 1000 offerings in Bodhgaya and would often be joined in by H.H. Yongzin Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche, and sometimes the 16th Karmapa would even join in. Wonderful. Watch this blessed and old footage of the two Yongzins doing Lama Chöpa in Bodhgaya. Yongzin is the special title to those who were the root and close teachers of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. There were two official Yongzins. Trijang Rinpoche and Ling Rinpoche were the Yongzins of the current Dalai Lama for over 40 years living nearby to Dalai Lama and passing him all the teachings necessary. They were extremely kind and giving all necessary teachings, empowerments and oral transmissions that Dalai Lama is disseminating to the world today to millions. The Girl Who Couldn't Cry - Water is Life
It's really hard to educate a generation of people born in conditions where they take things for granted. A simple slogan campaign that says, "Save water, It's precious" isn't sticky enough to make inroads. That's exactly where this video steps in: to make people realize how precious water actually is. A brilliant video that follows the heartbreaking story of a young girl that cannot cry. Sounds like fiction? Sadly, it is not.
