Tell me what you think??

I found this very interesting. So I posted it here. Watch this short video. Listen carefully to the facts. I want you to help me figure it out…can you?

The Dyatlov Pass incident resulted in the deaths of nine ski hikers in the northern Ural mountains on the night of February 2, 1959. It happened on the east shoulder of the mountain Kholat Syakhl (a Mansi name, meaning Mountain of the Dead). The mountain pass where the incident occurred has since been named Dyatlov Pass after the group’s leader, Igor Dyatlov. The lack of eyewitnesses has inspired much speculation. Soviet investigators determined only that “a compelling unknown force” had caused the deaths. Access to the area was barred for skiers and other adventurers for three years after the incident. The chronology of the incident remains unclear because of the lack of survivors.

Investigators at the time determined that the hikers tore open their tent from within, departing barefoot into heavy snow and a temperature of −30°C. Although the corpses showed no signs of struggle, two victims had fractured skulls, two had broken ribs, and one was missing her tongue. Their clothing, when tested, was found to be highly radioactive.

Watch this nine minute video and I want you to tell me what you think:

  1. What were they running away from?
  2. What made them age so fast when the oldest of the group was not more than 37 years old?
  3. What can make injuries that crush your ribs but no marks are left on the skin at all?
  4. Why did the authorities cover it up?
  5. Whatever killed them were terrestrial, extraterrestrial, supernatural, human? What do you think?

What is your theory. I am really interested to hear what you think. Let me know.

I watched Ancient Aliens Season 3 Episode 10 about Aliens and Evil Places and they talked about this incident. They also mentioned about one of the bodies had strong radiation on it which suggest some alien technology, it can’t be a Yeti, you don’t have sighting of Yeti with radioactive traces.

The inhabitants of that region said when the Russians were investigating the 9 hikers there were orange orbs watching them. So conclusively for me these are aliens.

  2. Joy on Aug 3, 2016 at 4:41 pm

I watched the short interesting documentary… I must say it was creepy to know these 9 mountain climbers died in such gruesome mysterious deaths! It is really unimaginable, what could possible cause such deaths except something supernatural. It would either be a demon or a the aliens which these Russian investigators are pointing at. I believe them, and it is very scary that these Aliens decided to fry these 9 people up so unexpectedly…why is my question did they harm and hurt them. And if they can do that, what would stop them or trigger them from harm us? It is obvious that we will never be able to overpower them with their super advance technology. So this is actually quite worrying if you ask me…. I’m glad we have something stronger and more powerful than them to protect us — our Dharma Protector Dorje Shugden.

No.1 I believe it is some being that definitely not from this earth, they might turn out to be aliens.

No.2 I believe it’s extremely strong radiation, strong radiation have been known to make living beings mutate and make beings grow old much faster.

No.3 There are still nothing like that so far on Earth but I believe some researchers will find out. I believe is a type of machine that uses radioactive waves from another planet/dimension/space. We have something that can crush bones without leaving sign from the outside except that is will also leave a little bit of bruise marks and it is called Chi.

No.4 I believe they covered it up because they don’t know what it is that may have caused the hiker’s deaths, they also do not want to make people think that Aliens are real and they are invading the Earth. Because some people will be extremely frightened and they would cause a lot more unnecessary havoc and problems.

No.5 I believe the unknown are extraterrestrial because no human have discovered anything like that and they citizens said that they saw an orb flying around the skies during the night when the hikers died. And finally, there are no terrestrial on this Earth that has the capabilities of doing so, if not humanity should have been doomed by now.

My theory is that during the night when the hikers were sleeping in their tents, some strange/unidentified beings came to the Earth and coincidentally landed right at the the place where the hikers resided. Then the aliens found out about the hikers and decided to kill them. And when the aliens was near to the hikers, the hikers were too shocked and scared so one of them used a knife to cut the tent from the inside and then they tried to run away while feeling so frightened until they even forgot to wear socks and boots. The aliens soon tracked them and started killing them with some sort of weapon that fires highly strong radioactive to the point where it could kill people, crush their bones and change their skin colours without leaving trace of any wound from the outside. And lastly about the missing tongue, I assume that they cut it of for some experiment purpose sake.

    Dear Rinpoche,
This is a very interesting video.

    1. What were they running away from?

–> I think they were running from something scary… maybe extra terrestrial beings that we human normally would not have met before. They may have supernatural power or looks scary.

    2. What made them age so fast when the oldest of the group was not more than 37 years old?

–> I think is highly radioactive wave or radiation.

    3. What can make injuries that crush your ribs but no marks are left on the skin at all?

–> Some force that maybe forced into the body to crush the inner organs but do not leave any mark from outside. Just like some kinds of Chinese Kung-fu. 🙂

    4. Why did the authorities cover it up?

–> The authorities may not have the answer too. Or they are too afraid to tell the mass that may cause mass hysteria. Or maybe they are the one behind the radioactive experiment.

    5. Whatever killed them were terrestrial, extraterrestrial, supernatural, human? What do you think?

–> I would think most probably supernatural or extraterrestrial power.
Sometimes things that we do not know, may not be not existing or false…

Basing on the write up, it clearly tells me what really happened and to answer to Tsem Rinpoche questions.

    1. They were running away from an Alien force that frighten their wits out.
    2. Certain Alien can absorb the energy of a human beings and age them within minutes.
3.The force of certain lazer light can penetrate into the body and destroy organs and bones leaving the skin untouched.
    4. It is related with UFO and for security reason, the Govt will cover up the incident.
5.These beings are extraterrestrial and not human.
The main source for my conclusion to this case is the high radioactivites which is only found in UFO.

  7. Wan Wai Meng on Jun 21, 2012 at 12:03 am

My guess would be it is done by extra terrestrials. I think the alien was hostile and wanted to harm the 9 of them. Some kind of energy force made them age so fast. To leave no mark on the skin i would think some kind of energy force that crushed the rib without scarring the skin.

  8. Julia Tan on Jun 15, 2012 at 4:13 am

    1. There must be some unknown object that had been chasing them

    2. i suppose was the energy or poison that came from this unknown object that aged and burn them down.

    3. Something like radioactive or gas or ultra violet..

    4. 9 of them were killed in a very horrify way but non of the investigator can tell what was that. Something they cannot explain. they cover up so that they don’t look stupid at the same time was to ease the people’s mind.

    5. it was not done by human being for sure. but who are they? I do believe there are living being outside the earth. May be their intention was not to kill people but just that their body may have some kind of energy or light or gas that human that can’t expose to..

  9. Chris on May 14, 2012 at 4:58 am

It is very hard to figure out what happened 50 years ago while relying on some incomplete and perhaps slightly distorted facts. Take for instance the clothes found to be radioactive. Why were the clothes tested for radioactivity in the first place? It is not part of any routine necropsy. Why were only the clothes mentioned in the report? Did they also test the bodies and the rest of the equipment? If they did, what were the findings? If not, then why not? I believe something is left out of context here. And, if that something is missing, we might as well ask what else is missing, too.
Anyway, here is my 2 cents:
    1. The hikers camped out in the middle of the open slope, instead of setting the tent under the forest line which apparently, was only about one kilometer away. I wonder why they did so. This is pretty unusual because on the open slope, you are totally exposed to avalanche and wind. Besides, you have to walk all that distance to the forest to get the firewood; if you ever dragged a wet log through the snow, you know that 1km becomes suddenly a very, very long distance.
One reason for camping on the slope could have been a sudden blizzard. Another reason could have been to get a view to as far as they could, which, I believe, might suggest that they had already identified some kind of threat and they were trying to prevent being ambushed throughout the night. The threat must have been serious enough to overcome the fear of avalanche and the inconveniences of obtaining the firewood and wind exposure.
    2. The remnants of a wood fire were found down the pine line, where some of the bodies were found. However, there is no report of camp fire nearby the tent. I wonder if something was left out of context again. If there was no camp fire, that again, is very unusual especially when camping out in brown bear territory. I can only think that they trying to conceal their position throughout the night. The danger of being detected throughout the night might have outweighed the threat of wildlife predators.
    3. While the majority of the hikers left the camp in underwear, three or four of them had the outdoor gear on. I don’t think these guys had the time to dress up, while the others didn’t. I believe they already had the outdoors gear on at the time they run away from the camp, which only suggests they were outside of tent already when the general panic occurred. I can only think they were acting as sentries at that time.
So, to wrap it up, whatever prompted Dyatlov and his companions to leave the camp in such a hurry was something whose danger had been already acknowledged and assessed by the team. However, they must have underestimated the danger, so that they chose to push ahead and camp instead of turning back and trying to find an alternative route. I would rule out any wildlife attack. The bodies were found more than 1 km away from the camp; you simply cannot outrun a bear or a pack of wolves on such distance. I would also rule out the UFO hypothesis. If the UFO was perceived as a living, intelligent and terrifying thing, I assume the team would have turned back the way they came as soon as they could instead of trying to outsmart it. If the UFO was identified as some ball lightning or other natural phenomenon, they wouldn’t have bothered about concealing their presence and watching out for possible ambush.
There were no traces of other human beings and no traces of avalance or other natural disaster, so these are ruled out as well.
My best guess is that perhaps the hikers entered by mistake a secret weapon testing perimeter but i admit that in this case, the government would have probably covered the whole thing and nothing would have leaked out.

  10. su an on May 10, 2012 at 7:41 pm

Very interesting and intriguing account of the Dyatlov Pass incident… Feel sad for the hikers, imagine the fear and confusion and desperation they would have experienced before their untimely deaths. =(

    1. What were they running away from?
    – something which they felt were a threat to their lives. Maybe it was something which was approaching the entrance of their tents… so that they couldn’t run out of the opening and had to cut open the tents.. or maybe the tent flaps were closed and the thing was inside the tent? They could even be running away from a sound which was painful to the ears, or a light which was so strong it pierced through the tents and were blinding them… that they just tore the tent and ran out haphazardly in a daze.

    2. What made them age so fast when the oldest of the group was not more than 37 years old?
    – what causes “natural” aging? This is actual still not totally known to science but the commonly accepted reasons (for extrinsic aging) are oxidization of cells, which is partly caused by sun radiation, gravity, the passage of time… so whatever expedited the aging process in the group… perhaps it was very strong radiation or they went through a time warp which made their bodies go to their future state.

    3. What can make injuries that crush your ribs but no marks are left on the skin at all?
    – it was mentioned their bones were crushed like eggshells… not sure about the organs… maybe their bones became so brittle from the aging process that they just shattered themselves…

    4. Why did the authorities cover it up?
    – Most likely they don’t want to cause mass hysteria, they don’t have all the answers yet, they cannot / haven’t handled the situation well and whatever they have done / are doing about it may cause public outrage and they want to remain in government, maybe they don’t want to know more about what’s going on and its easier to just pretend it never happened… i just wonder why these kind of things don’t happen in Malaysia… (maybe its a good thing) Just such a coincidence that the first group that went up the peak also consisted of 9 ppl… maybe the 2nd group was the reincarnation of the 1st group.

    5. Whatever killed them were terrestrial, extraterrestrial, supernatural, human? What do you think?
    – I won’t be surprised if it was done by extraterrestrial / supernatural forces/beings. I just hope that they did it by accident!

  11. pastor ngeow on May 3, 2012 at 6:55 pm

    Very thought provoking article.
1.The way they tore out of their tent suggest they were running away from something extremely scary, life threatening or frightful. There may be pain involved.
    2. This is a puzzle. Irradiation comes to mind but I have not read that it causes aging as in growing old with wrinkles , or losing teeth or bone density. Also not clear from video how the bodies show these signs.
    3. Implosion works from inside out. Most likely radiation or magnetic waves or even sound waves like how high frequency sound inaudible to our ears can shatter glass or gall stones without damaging the external body.
    4. Authorities usually cover up events which they cannot explain to avoid public hassle .Also anti govt folks can take advantage to stir public sentiments for political mileage.
    5. Hostile extra terrestrial intelligence at work as the skiers were hunted down and none were spared.

  12. Bigredheart on Apr 28, 2012 at 8:05 pm

with regard to the tent, maybe they felt some pressure so had to try and get out. .

I also remember when watching another video on ufo’s, that there was a really high radiation reading in the area where there had been a ufo sighting –

as I remember there were two night-watchmen, who literally saw a ufo land – a metalic object with flashing lights. when it was investigated, they found the place where it had landed had a really high reading which was a real anomoly. thank-you Rinpoche for these fascinating posts -)

  14. JG on Apr 25, 2012 at 5:06 pm

1)They are running from someone/something extraterrestrial.

2 & 3 )Their cell age in such a speed , probably cause by radiation or electromagnetic force which over a human cell substantial limit,or probably cause by theory of time dilation. If We would have to be travelling at the speed of light, we might not age that fast, everyone on earth aging at a more accelerated rate than those in orbit. Base on their energy, the wave they carry or the weapon on them would have the time dilation that cause human aged.

    4) US government’s involvement with aliens yet all informations being covered up. The accounts range from UFOs being recorded on radar to government officials and private corporations allegedly working with aliens on secret projects.

As Apollo 11 , Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins and Edwin Aldrin was the first Apollo flight to land on the Moon, on July 20, 1969. Armstrong clutched Aldrin’s excitedly and exclaimed:
Armstrong: What was it? What the hell was it? There were other spaceships!”

Appollo 15 , Astronaut sees white objects flying by
Orion : I’d like to tell you about something we saw around the LM (LEM or Lunar Excursion Module). When we were coming about 30 or 40 feet out, there were a lot of objects – white things – flying by. It looked as if they were being propelled or ejected,

US government cover up the true, The reason from one of the astronauts, Armstrong pronouse that: Naturally – NASA was committed at that time, and couldn’t risk panic on Earth.
When the astronauts discover something extraordinary, they are ordered to convey all messages in code. And the CIA was behind the cover-up.

    5) There is no marks on the body , seems like is impossible for human to do this by current technologies, and they are not death because of any earth weapons , the highest possibilities is something like a wave or gravity energies that shrink the cell compartment , if the symtomps is like burning scar, most probably is strong radiation, that cause the cell shrink under high heat.

we do not really know yet how many dimensions our world has because we live in multi-dimensional universe. For example, the ant, the ‘universe’ is two-dimensional, as it cannot leave the surface of the paper. It only knows North from South and East from West, but up and down don’t make any sense as long as it has to stay on the sheet of paper. All that our current observations tell us is that the world around us is at least 3+1-dimensional. The fourth dimension is time. While time is very different from the familiar spatial dimensions, Lorentz and Einstein showed at the beginning of the 20th century that space and time are intrinsically related. The idea of additional spatial dimensions comes from string theory, the only self-consistent quantum theory of gravity so far. It turns out that for a consistent description of gravity, one needs more than 3+1 dimensions, and the world around us might have up to 11 spatial dimensions! There always have some extraterrestrial creatures behind us, It does exist if we play with frequencies detector.

  15. tfreon on Apr 24, 2012 at 4:38 pm

    Dear Rinpoche,
    The answers
    1. What were they running away from?
    — People will be running in rush and fast when there is something life threatening happened, feel scared or emotion disturbed. They are running off from something to save themselves.

    2. What made them age so fast when the oldest of the group was not more than 37 years old?
    — The human body can age fast for several reasons, body liquid dry up, explore to excessive “radioactive” /heat that causes the cells in body to change, changes on genetic. This can’t be happened to normal body. Normal incident can’t explain why they age so fast, especially in snowing cold area.

    3. What can make injuries that crush your ribs but no marks are left on the skin at all?
    — Normally this can’t be happened. Our organs is “soft” as compare to ribs bone. Can it be the bones is “drying up” and thus cracked? So this is beyond explaination

    4. Why did the authorities cover it up?
    — Authorities always like to cover up something that is not in people daily normal routine explainable behavior. Some are because of the religion purposes, which crash with the idea of the religion. Or, some politician thought that it will bring chaos to this “peaceful” world.

    5. Whatever killed them were terrestrial, extraterrestrial, supernatural, human? What do you think?
    — Yup i do agree on that. Otherwise, it can be explain military test.
What i can think of is, military is testing on new weapons.

What is your theory. I am really interested to hear what you think. Let me know.
    — I do believes that was visitors that visits to our world. We are not the only beings that lives in this so so so wide galaxy. And, there are so many galaxies . Maybe each galaxy have other life forms there.
    — If the alien can visit us on ancient time, why can’t they visit us on this modern era? I think they will.

    — If the “alien’ no longer visited us, who are the culprit create all this incident. The next in line would be by human- Military test. Military is always thinking of new weapons that can killed fast and without trace. In Japanese war, there was a trial to create bio-weapon.

Think more deeper, if this is military trial. Our earth is going to be polluted with all sort of nuclear which we human till today not even know exactly how to deal with the nuclear waste. If this happened, the future world is going to be in chaos, human life might becoming very short, all sort of diseases is “born”. The world is going to be very hard to live on.

  16. Terri on Apr 24, 2012 at 11:00 am

    1. Maybe they were in great pain and they lost their sanity where they just wanted to get out of the tent
    2. There was a lot of heat and fire, it was like a really fast sunburn, because it was so hot it melted their skins.
    3. Maybe because of the heat, the water in their body boiled and boiling water expands, it pressed against the ribs and burst the organs and the ribs.
    4. They wanted people to feel safe and they didn’t want people to start freaking out.
    5. I don’t know what could have done it. In the mountains sometimes there is a lot of geothermal activity and radiation. I don’t know if it was aliens or just a side affect of some natural occurrence. But the elders named the mountain, “Don’t Go There” and there was probably a reason for that.

  17. ECheah on Apr 23, 2012 at 1:15 pm

What was described sounds like a description of some of the hells as espoused in the Lamrim. These people experienced hell “on earth” and having suffered such violent deaths, it might be a prelude to the kind of place they then transitioned to. The fact that nothing appeared to have attacked them from the outside is in line with us creating our own hells. Why do we keep running away from “hell” when hell is right within our minds? Does that tell us we might be headed there too if we’re not careful?

  18. Steve Tobias on Apr 23, 2012 at 8:28 am

I would like to believe that if this story is true, the event was accidental by the UFO. Other alien life forms are also in samsara, but I’m inclined to believe that they are more “enlightened” or peaceful than humans. I’m sure that there are classes of planets all over the universe like ours which are considered “not worth approaching” by higher life forms.

  19. Thierry on Apr 22, 2012 at 10:53 pm

    1. What were they running away from?
Something very oppressing, something very painful, something very quick, so quick that some of them could not wait for the others to get out from the entrance, they opened up the tent with a knife.
That something must have been felt from inside the tent, like if they HAD TO escape the tent itself.
Maybe some radio-active waves, like if the whole area was turned into a giant micro-wave oven.

    2. What made them age so fast when the oldest of the group was not more than 37 years old?
I have no answer to that except that it is something we don’t know of, maybe linked with the radio-active activity they found traces of?

    3. What can make injuries that crush your ribs but no marks are left on the skin at all?
Injuries must have been caused by a non-mechanical cause, by something that penetrates the skin without breaking it or cutting it: it leads to waves again. UV or RA waves…

    4. Why did the authorities cover it up?
They could not explain it, so it was embarrassing, and also it could have created some panic. Or we could go on the conspiracy road and imagine that the authorities were experimenting new weapons of some kind, but I doubt that, for if it was the case, we would by now have seen this weapon become a reality already.

    5. Whatever killed them were terrestrial, extraterrestrial, supernatural, human? What do you think?
most likely extraterrestrial, for nothing terrestrial would fit the clues…

  20. JP on Apr 22, 2012 at 7:43 pm

    Dear Rinpoche,

    Below is my theory.

    1. What were they running away from?
I believe they were running away from extra terrestrial beings who were harming them using some micro waves that could penetrate through the tents. That’s why they needed to escape fast by cutting their way out of the tent.

    2. What made them age so fast when the oldest of the group was not more than 37 years old?
Sounds like it may be caused by radiation.

    3. What can make injuries that crush your ribs but no marks are left on the skin at all?
Again, it must be some radio frequency technology similar to like how the doctors blast away small kidney stones. But this can crush ribs.

    4. Why did the authorities cover it up?
I think it’s because they are dealing with something beyond their capacity. They are aliens and they don’t know much about them. Announcing it without a solution, may cause mass hysteria.

    5. Whatever killed them were terrestrial, extraterrestrial, supernatural, human? What do you think?
I strongly believe they were aliens from another world or dimension. However, I don’t know what their motives were for killing the humans. Perhaps it’s one of their leisure activities like how humans hunt for fun.

Haha all jokes aside, I must say I’ve been thinking about this over the last few days. I really like David’s theory about the alien masquerading as a humanoid and trapping the expedition group. hehe.

I think perhaps aliens might have wanted to conduct tests and the effects of their weapons on humans – this might explain how the humans were in such different ways. They may well have even abducted them to another planet, conducted their experiments until they died, and then dropped them back on earth. The time travel theories could well be true – which may explain how one of them aged so tremendously.

As to what made them cut out the tent from the inside and run out – well, aliens are far smarter than stupid humans and they could have well teleported themselves from “out there” in the big orange void into their tent. That would freak anyone out enough to want to escape. I can’t imagine the alien would have been a pretty little thing.

It’s not the first time I’ve heard about authorities wanting to cover up such phenomena. I believe it’s happened quite often in the United States as well (or what we see on telly anyway). I guess there could be two motives in that – they don’t want to create mass hysteria and panic among their people and/or they want to keep the juicy secrets and news to themselves. It wouldn’t surprise me that they conduct many of their own experiments in private hoping to find new methods or research into weaponry. It’s all about developing bigger arms isn’t it, in these countries?

It’s rare we find stories like this in smaller, poorer countries – I guess in those places, they simply wouldn’t have any money to do anything further with these phenomenon, nor the resources to archive the events, which is why we hear of them so seldomly.

After all this speculation though, I do still think that if I was out in the middle of bloody nowhere in a tent and Monlam appeared, I’d be cutting myself out of that tent as fast as I could and running barefoot in the snow.

  22. Ethan Hoo on Apr 22, 2012 at 11:10 am

It could be a biochemical weapon test site, and these people could have been exposed to toxic substances in the area.

    1. They could be delirious from rapid dehydration. They could be running out to get help than running away from anything.

    2. It could be some toxic that causes rapid dehydration that makes them age fast.

    3. Same as no. 2 above, the injury comes from inside. So whatever attacking them must be from inside – could be the toxic. The dehydration could cause them to have bronchitis that’s strong enough to crack their ribs (Like those hiking Mount Everest have the possibility of having “Khumbu cough”).

    4. If the authorities are making and testing biochemical weapons, I don’t think they want anyone to find out

    5. Could be man made biochemical weapons that killed them.

Dear Rimpochela, on my first impression I would say that these people maybe knew about this orange lights, and maybe there was some first interaction in the camping day, so they had to run because they notice something strange or something else about these lights (that maybe can change their appearence also, maybe they are not all the time orange forms).

After that they run immediatly out of their camping house (don’t remember the proper name in english), but the light which could be extraterrestrials got them and abductioned them. The abduction could actually explain why they got old, it’s proved by science that time is relative so when you go close to the speed of light(which is probably what happens when they abduct you) the time looks like it’s still, so one hour at that speed in the space are years here, thats why they got old one day to other.

About the injuries, I would say, just experimentation, they wanna know about us, and maybe they are testing about genetic union between them and us, or any kind of test, and like the vets here (unfortunately) they have to kill and cut and everithing to see and learn what they want to.

If I came up with something new I’ll let you know.

Namo Gurube Rimpochela … and may you have a long long life.

  25. David Lai on Apr 22, 2012 at 3:03 am

    Dear Rinpoche,
    I have 3 theories (a, b & c) that I come up with :-

    a.
It is a powerful vengeful mountain spirit that disturbed the hiking team. The effects of the vengeful mountain spirit caused one of the hikers to age supernaturally. The other hiker was crushed without leaving any marks on the skin by the invisible limbs of the spirit. The government didn’t want mass public hysteria associated with the paranormal. It is a supernatural mountain spirit had been there for thousands of years and therefore, very powerful and evil.

    b.
It is an alien in humanoid form that they met halfway up the mountain. When the alien was discovered, they ripped the tent in fear and some were killed through accelerated aging and another crushed through invisible energy rays. In other words, through advance alien weaponry. The government covered it up later because they had dealings with the aliens to develop weaponry and they didn’t want any nosey thorough investigators to find out. It is a collaboration between terrestrial human conspiracy with the extraterrestrial alien.

    c.
An alien who is in the form of ball of energy (that was witnessed) but was in disguised as a human that they met halfway. One was killed through the harmful rays of the angry alien ball of energy through accelerated aging. Another was killed through crushed bones without leaving any marks on the skin when the balls collided with them. The alien traditionally landed on this spot to harvest the terrestrial energy of the earth. Hence, they never needed to land anywhere else and was undiscovered. The government had to cover it up so there’s no mass hysteria as it is totally extraterrestrial.

  26. Alfonso Malagón on Apr 22, 2012 at 2:58 am

This is very very interesting. I cannot have a theory, but I can have a hypothesis.

    1. I would agree with the program that these 9 people encountered something extraterrestrial. I might argue that they were not running from these beings or force, but they were simply running out of the pain that they were experiencing. I say beings or force because we do not really know if these beings did it intentionally or if it was simply their energies which harmed them.

    2. It has been proposed that extraterrestrials are also time travelers. If this is the case, somehow these 9 people were affected by the other dimensional energies from these beings/force which caused them age.

    3. The energy that crushed these people might have something to do with the same different dimensional energies of the time traveling beings/force. What exactly caused these damages? I cannot know. What is most interesting is the mutilations. Why? It has also been proposed that extraterrestrials take organs from living beings. A famous example has been with the unknown phenomena of cow mutilation.

    4. There are two primary reasons for the cover up. Either the government knows about alien life and want to keep it a secret, or they were the ones who did this. I don’t like to think that the government did this, but there has been multiple cases where the government partakes in experiments as such. Most infamously known has been Adolf Hitler’s superstition and scientific experimentation. Why? is the biggest question.

    5. It’s most likely that this event was extraterrestrial as the natives of the area speak of the flying orange orbs. Extra-dimensional might be a better term.

This also reminds me of “Fairy Circles” where people encounter a group of fairies dancing, are drawn to them, and if they join them, they travel to their world. After returning back home, they find themselves in a different time in the future. If you spend 15 seconds with the fairies, it could actually be 15 years. All that can be said is that this world is much more interesting than we like to think it is.

Dear Alfonso Malagon,I like what you wrote. You really thought everything out thoroughly. Your opinion in this is very interesting. You write out your thoughts very well. Thank you for sharing. Tsem Rinpoche

Thank You kindly Rinpoche. Also, this might not be the most appropriate place to mention this, but I must thank You for the Je Tsongkhapa box set You created. It has been immensely helpful. I must thank the Kechara team as well.

May all beings be freed from suffering.

  27. Seth Chong on Apr 22, 2012 at 2:39 am

Dear Rinpoche, I believe it is still related to extraterrestrials. As one of the commentators explained, they might not have done it by purpose – or they might have. Either ways… what the 9 hikers encountered was science or energy much greater than humans can currently devise or withstand. Injuries that can crush the ribs may be caused by psychic means. Like how us humans treat animals, perhaps that’s the view of certain extraterrestrials about living beings like us.

I believe as it comes to extraterrestrials, they will always have a division in intent, race or geographical origination just like us humans have. Some humans treat others badly, some treat others with great kindness. Some are of a certain type of genes and features, others another. Some come from greatly power-oriented places, some from spiritual places like Tibet.

Since the universe is so vast as to be said to have infinite space, with the numbers of stars and planets claimed to be uncountable, there will surely exist another intelligent species elsewhere aside from us on the tinier than atom planet in the universe which we call earth.

All they need to do is exist 10,000 years ahead of us. And they would have the kind of technology that us humans today can’t imagine. No all they need is 1000 years.
    are
Within the past 20 years, humans have technologically evolved from only professional adults owning a mobile phone, to now seeing even the littlest of kids owning their own.

Only within the past 15 years or so that the Internet has made its reign to be inseparable to billions of people’s daily lives. So much so that now, those who have no access to it would feel incredibly helpless in the face of everyday living. And those who have it are able to describe how powerful it is to raising the intellectual awareness and practical efficiency of the entire human race. How it is instrumental in changing the face of the intellectual awareness in mankind. All just within a short period of 15 years.

Imagine if a species has had its own Internet 10,000 years ago. How much more would they achieve in their technological or energy usage advancements…?

    • tsemtulku on Apr 22, 2012 at 3:12 am

      Dear Seth Chong,

Some of what you wrote is exactly how I think.

      a. It is impossible we are the only planet out there with life. It is a mathematical impossibility we are the only ones.

      b. It is suffice to say there are races on other planets that have come and gone. Or at the end of their existence now or just beginning. Other life out there do not need to develop at our timing here on earth.

      c. If we can visit the moon and Mars, why can’t they who can be advanced have visited us. Visited us even before humans walked the earth. It’s all possible.

You wrote everything with sound logic and well thought out. I like it. Thanks. Tsem Rinpoche

      • Seth on Apr 24, 2012 at 9:00 pm

Thank you Rinpoche… It’s just a personal interest. Sometimes I feel glad writing or talking about it because most of us humans live in a narrow view of life. And this limited view has created lots of sufferings for others. When humans are able to understand how small we really are in our filled-to-the-brim revolving around ourselves reality when compared to the vastness of the Universe… we would usually tend to suddenly be humbled, and our minds get quiet… even for a little while. As a result of being able to see the world from a higher viewpoint, we would be able to develop the ability to think more openly. And from being able to think more openly, develop a heart that cares for others. We would be able to create greater happiness for people on scales which are never seen before in history. I believe we just have to know more Truths about life and accept it in order for world happiness to begin taking place…

  28. Vincent Cheng on Apr 22, 2012 at 2:29 am

1, I don’t think they even have a chance to run, it just happened too fast.
2, Possible dragged into a void or another dimension where all law of physics collapse and cause cells to age at super speed, or cells can’t take the force and start to collapse.
3, Maybe inside the void the gravity is tremendous or it’s pressure is million times more heavier than our’s.
4, Authorities loves to cover up, they’ll simply cover up anything.
5, Humans – Not really, if we can figure out what is going on then it means it’s done by humans; Aliens – Most Possible, as they might have super advanced technology or they have super Telekinesis and might put anything they want into a void or something; Supernatural – Possible, as we supernatural can be impossible for humans to understand.

    • Vincent Cheng on Apr 22, 2012 at 2:50 am

Edit: 1, Hmm, what I’m trying to say is, the attack happened inside the camp and they’re badly injured and trying to run to get help but they couldn’t make it, so they’re trying to get help instead of running from something.

    • tsemtulku on Apr 22, 2012 at 3:12 am

I always wondered why authorities cover things up. It would be easier just to be open and educate the public.

Just finished watching the whole thing, it’s very addictive, I love this kind of stuff, Thank you Dear Rinpoche.

Actually, it’s more accurate to say “People” loves to cover up. The Authorities might have gotten some new technology from it and they’re unwilling to share, hehe.

Anyway, I’ve just finished a 3 episode game named “Mass Effect”, it talks about our home galaxy, Milky way is being attacked by a Super Advanced Synthetic Sentient Race which they will wipe out the entire galaxy’s race to ensure “The Organics” doesn’t get destroyed by their creations, “The Synthetics”, and the cycle will repeat itself every 50,000 years. What a choice Kenneth Lee made….quit his well-paying job as a lecturer. And now he is teaching in a small school in a remote area of Thailand. He has no regret quitting his job for a journey that comes with many uncertainties and changes to a completely new place.
All he wanted was to live his life as meaningfully as possible and a good teacher who can contribute positively to a place which can help his students.Even though the work load is slightly more because he could not speck their languages.
He gave up his comfortable life, his material possessions, and he is now enjoying a greater degree of spiritual happiness and has less worries.
Thank you Rinpoche for sharing this inspiring post .May more people will be inspired by him.

The discovery of these extraordinary signs made everyone feel great peace, reaffirming their faith in their Teacher.

Danny Bowman’s case is extreme, more of a mental problem instead of a vanity issue. However, many people around us are addicted to taking selfie. Even though it might be just showing off their beauty to gain attention, it should not be dismissed lightly. Because of their excessive love for themselves, they lack the empathy for others. This is the real issue. When someone place all the attention on themselves and expect others to do the same, it is against the practice of Bodhicitta. And if it not corrected at early stage, it will become a habituation and strong imprint that will also affect them in their next life.

Thank you, Rinpoche, for this sharing on Dr. Joona Repo’s work. In his book “Phabongka Dechen Nyingpo: His Collected Works and the Guru-Deity-Protector Triad,” Dr. Joona Repo’s impartial recollections of Pabongka Rinpoche serves to debunk certain perception people have towards this erudite master, who was brought into question because of his emphasis on Dorje Shugden and what was deemed as sectarianism practices.

Through presenting the vastness and diversity of the works by Pabongka Rinpoche and records of his teaching against sectarianism, this book empirically presents a balanced view of Pabongka Rinpoche against those baseless allegations. The fact that Pabongka Rinpoche wrote extensively about Vajrayogini and had visions of Heruka proved that he is no ordinary Lama.

Pabongka Rinpoche was, in fact, the reincarnation of a well-known scholar Changkya Rolpay Dorje who was the Royal Tutor to the Chinese Emperors. Because of this sensitivity, Pabongka RInpoche was not recognized his lineage by the power of the day. This in itself is a hint that there are more than meet the eyes.

Its a interesting post with 2 giants countries discussing over movie market. Hollywood producers who are increasingly looking to tap the country’s fast-growing box office into China market. However there is restriction .They hopes China will increase the quota and the share of revenues more in line with international markets. And even has openly criticized China on trade.China is likely to raise the quota of imported films as part of recent trade talks.
China are trying to protect its growing domestic film industry from Hollywood domination. The most best measure is the strict quota limiting the number.
Brad Pitt was back in China nearly 20 years after being baned over a film about Tibet .Time has changed China policy on celebrities entering China.

This article reminds me of how, in general, people understand the need to have a strong and fit psychic body but rarely willing to take action to go through the training. Let alone Dharma training of the mind which is much more tougher. Because our habituation has conditioned us to perceive and think a certain way, and the need to unlearn and relearn is not part of our program.

To me, understanding the need to be trained and having the courage to go through the training is a process in itself. The mind has to be conditioned to understand the need of the training which is to eliminate the “i” and the importance of the training which is to speed up the journey of crossing the ocean of samsara.

Most importantly, we must recognize it is very rare for us to be in a perfect human condition, meet the dharma and the perfect Guru, therefore, we must not imagine that we have time by thinking there will always be tomorrow. Actually this is the conversation in my mind sometimes… lol.

Thank you, Rinpoche, for this article.

The Unknown

The Known and unknown are both feared,
Known is being comfortable and stagnant,
The unknown may be growth and opportunities,
One shall never know if one fears the unknown more than the known.
Who says the unknown would be worse than the known?
But then again, the unknown is sometimes worse than the known. In the end nothing is known unless we endeavour,
So go pursue all the way with the unknown,
because all unknown with familiarity becomes the known.

I pity men who occupy themselves exclusively with the transitory in things and lose themselves in the study of what is perishable, since we are here for this very end- that we may make the perishable imperishable, which we can do only after we have learned how to approach both.~Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

(This quote is very powerful from Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. He seems to be a powerful thinker and can think beyond daily and ordinary thoughts. Like I shared, only the study of dharma is going to lead to the imperishable. Any other studies of this world only are temporarily beneficial which is perishable. Of course he is not referring to dharma, but he realized ordinary pursuits leads to perishability. If he knew dharma, he would see the vastness of Buddha\'s omniscience. Tsem Rinpoche)

I pity men who occupy themselves exclusively with the transitory in things and lose themselves in the study of what is perishable, since we are here for this very end- that we may make the perishable imperishable, which we can do only after we have learned how to approach both.~Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (This quote is very powerful from Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. One of the nicest Taras I\'ve seen. I like her shade of green and the lotus on the left which is lower as her hand is lower so it\'s very balanced looking. Her face looks young, motherly, kind and yet regal.

(1st photo) Kyabje Lati Rinpoche in the centre and Ven Kensur Rinpoche Lobsang Phende on the extreme right. After the unfair ban against Dorje Shugden practitioners was forcibly instituted by Tibetan leadership onto the people and monasteries, the monasteries split. Over 600 monks from Gaden Shartse Monastery left and set up Shar Gaden Monastery. The Tibetan leadership did their best to get the authorities to close Shar Gaden Monastery but Shar Gaden had registered so there was nothing Tibetan leadership can do. It was very sad. Kensur Rinpoche Lobsang Phende left Gaden Shartse Monastery to be the abbot of the newly formed Shar Gaden Monastery in South India where they can continue Dorje Shugden practice. Prior to the ban Lati Rinpoche and Kensur Rinpoche Lobsang Phende can meet up, share and be close as they all had been very close. After the ban this was not allowed anymore. Dorje Shugden and non-Dorje Shugden people had to be segregated. They cannot mix. The previous prime minister of the Tibetan exiled government said that Dorje Shugden people and non Dorje Shugden people are like the mustache and the mouth and it has to be separated. Tsem Rinpoche

You can see in this 2nd photo, Kyabje Lati Rinpoche blessing a child and Kensur Rinpoche Lobsang Phende standing next to the child. The monasteries were happy, united and had good samaya with each other prior to the ban. The ban destroyed everything and unity and harmony. It is very sad to see this. ou can save this rare thangka of 1,000 armed Heruka. I\'ve never seen this thangka or any of this form before and it\'s the first time. You can print out or keep or use. I found this online and it\'s beautiful. Kyabje Zong Rinpoche mentioned this Heruka 30 years ago to us and since then I have never seen this in painting or statue at all till now. He has many legs and many faces too. Very special and unique. Seeing Heruka or thinking of Heruka plants the seeds of enlightenment in our mindstream. Tsem Rinpoche

This is Venerable Lhakpa Tsering from Tibet. He has passed away a few years back of natural causes and as he was older. He was one of the high ranking and official oracle of Dorje Shugden, Namka Barzin, Kache Marpo and several other high protectors. He was famous in Tibet for his correct trance of Dorje Shugden and extremely powerful clairvoyance advice of Dorje Shguden. He has been taking trance since Tibet. In 1959 he left Tibet for India and settled in Kalimpong. He continued to take trance in Kalimpong of Dorje Shugden for government officials, local persons, high lamas, monasteries, nuns, monks and even foreigners. For over 40 years his wonderful oracular ability to take trance and give advice and prophecies has benefited so many people. He was trained and blessed as an oracle by the previous Dromo Geshe Rinpoche of Sera Jey Monastery. I\'ve had a chance to stay at his house, meet him and see him in trance. It was a great blessing and amazing experience. Tsem Rinpoche

Why seek anything else when you have the illustrious practice of Vajra Yogini from the lineage of the Crazy Wisdom Mahasiddha Naropa? Nothing in samsara created by ordinary men can surpass the practice of Vajra Yogini elucidated to us by the Buddha. Nothing in samsara’s knowledge no matter how incredible can surpass the knowledge embodied in the dharma by the Buddha. Samsara knowledge is limited. When we study Buddha’s knowledge (Dharma) it guarantees our future with no limitations. Spend more time studying dharma than samsaric knowledge. Why even compare? Surrender samsara as death and loss are it’s only results and engage in Dharma practice all the way. Vajra Yogini is dharma and dharma is Vajra Yogini. Give everything for Vajra Yogini’s practice. Start now as a preliminary practice even without initiation (blog article: Starting on Vajra Yogini Now- http://www.tsemrinpoche.com/?p=4395). Humbly, Tsem Rinpoche

This is a powerful picture of Geshe Tsultrim Gyeltsen, Kensur Kyabje Lati Rinpoche and the current incarnation of Trijang Rinpoche meeting together in the year 2000 when Trijang Rinpoche was 18. All three lamas are Dorje Shugden practitioners. In fact Geshe Tsultrim Gyeltsen was the one that first encouraged my practice of Dorje Shugden when I was 16 years old when I joined his beautiful Thubten Dhargye Ling centre in Los Angeles. I lived with Geshe Tsultrim Gyeltsen for 8 years before proceeding to Gaden Monastery in South India. Later Kyabje Zong Rinpoche came to our Los Angeles centre and granted sogtae (permission ceremony) to practice Dorje Shugden for life as requested by Geshe Tsultrim Gyeltsen. Geshe Tsultrim Gyeltsen had tremendous faith in Trijang Rinpoche.

Kyabje Lati Rinpoche was innovative, dedicated and very much focused on bringing dharma to many. He had tremendous faith in Dorje Shugden as I had the honour to meet him many times. He would seek advice from Dorje Shugden many times via the oracle of Gaden Monastery. Geshe Tsultrim Gyeltsen and Kensur Kyabje Lati Rinpoche have since passed away while the current Trijang Rinpoche is a perfect lineage holder and practitioner of Dharma while he keeps Dorje Shugden as his personal protector as he has done so for many lifetimes.

This is a powerful and beautiful picture of three great lamas of Buddha’s lineage and also of Gaden Monastery. ~Tsem Rinpoche

This picture is of KB lovingly holding Mumu while he tries to stand up. I was in the room with them and someone else took this picture. It is a very sad and poignant picture because just a short while after this picture was taken, Mumu passed away with all of us present. This was the last picture of my little Mumu alive. We immediately did puja for Mumu and he is sorely missed by many as he touched our lives deeply. Tsem Rinpoche

These are the heartbreaking scenes we see over and over again, that we share in the hopes of telling the stories of those who otherwise would have suffered and vanished from this earth without a trace. This is Norma Jean. Free for a little over five months, she knew more happiness than millions of her sisters ever will. But she couldn’t escape the fate genetically programmed into her as an egg producing machine. She seemed more lethargic than usual this morning, so we brought her inside to administer fluids and antibiotics in the hopes of pulling her through until we could get her in to see our vet. She couldn’t hang on. She died this evening shortly after this video was taken, severely infected from the rotting egg yolk adhered to various organs throughout her abdominal cavity. Like virtually every single one of her sisters, caged or free range, rescued or not, she paid the ultimate price for eggs (from FB)

I bow to the feet of my glorious Kyabje Zong Rinpoche!
To hear the holy lama's voice, to be in his presence or even to see his form requires us to have the merits. To implement the teachings of the lama is not easy but not implementing the teachings only leads to more difficulties. I was fortunate to be in the presence of my lama and have kept my samaya clean all these years. To see, hear and remember your holy voice and teachings I feel grateful. I only hope by keeping my samaya clean with you now my lama, I may meet you in future lives again without distraction by samsara. I wish my stay in samsara to be shorter and it is possible by your teachings. May I practice and bring your teachings to many tirelessly as many need it desperately. May I not be disappointed by their unruly behaviour towards me and at times I lose strength, but I think of you. For in samsara everything has disappointed me and will continue to as everything in samsara is a forced illusion. I bow to the feet of my glorious Kyabje Zong Rinpoche! ~Tsem Rinpoche

jason asked: what is the significance of a solar eclipse in terms of sadhana practice besides multiplying merit
Pastor Niral Patel answered: Dear Jason, Thank you for your question. It is good to see you here. As you have rightly pointed out, during solar eclipses the merit from engaging in virtuous actions are greatly multiplied. Therefore there are many prescribed practices one can do during these times to generate a lot of merit, such as engaging in prayers, making abundant offerings, animal liberation, taking precepts for the day, etc. In terms of sadhana practice, the main benefit here would be the multiplication of merits generated. However on a tantric level, since the movements of the planets are linked to the movement of energy within the universe, and therefore one’s body, there would be subtle changes in the psychic winds within the body as well. On the whole, the patterns of the universe are mirrored within the psychic winds in the body as well. The tantric system that deals with these movements in the most detail is the Kalachakra Tantra, which you can read more about here: http://www.tsemrinpoche.com/tsem-tulku-rinpoche/tibetan-astrology/introduction-to-tibetan-astrology.html In the Kalachakra Tantra it is said that when a solar eclipse occurs, merit is either multiplied a thousand, ten-thousand times, or a hundred-thousand times. The sun and the moon are linked with the psychic winds, channels and drops with tantric practice. According to the Kalachakra Tantra everyone breathes 21,600 time every day and our minds are said to ride on the winds within our bodies. The majority of the winds within out body are karmic winds, in that they come about and are affected by karmic tendencies. During an eclipse however, more wisdom winds are said to prevail in the body. As these circulate in the body, doing Dharma practice, especially tantric practices in which you use these winds, one can achieve spiritual attainments at a speed that would not normally be possible. In traditional mythology, there is a celestial body known as Rahu. This isn’t actually a physical planet, but a node on the orbit of the moon. When Rahu appears, he is said to swallow the sun for some time, this is the ancient explanation of a solar eclipse. Rahu is also known as the “dragon’s head”. Within the Kalachakra Tantra, practitioners use Rahu to bring the sun and the moon under control. As the sun is associated with psychic channels on the right side of the body, and the moon with psychic channels on the left side of the body, what this means is that the practitioner controls these energies and brings them into the central psychic channel instead. Thereby the solar eclipse is said to mirror a tantric yogi’s ability to bring the psychic energies of the left and right side into the central channel. Once in the central channel the yogi can engage in the higher psychic energy meditations in order to gain spiritual attainments and even enlightenment. For an everyday practitioner therefore, the main benefit of practicing during a solar eclipse is the multiplication of merit. For a tantric practitioner however, it is a time that they can make use of the energies of nature to boost their practices. I hope this helps. Thank you.

Todd asked: Does Rinpoche have any information on the deity Rakta Yamari, who is believed to be an emanation of Manjushri?
Pastor Niral Patel answered: Dear Todd, Thank you for your interesting question. Rakta Yamari is indeed a wrathful emanation of Manjushri, in the form of a yidam or meditational deity belonging to the Anuttarayoga, or highest tantra, class of deities. The practice has been incorporated into all four major schools of Tibetan Buddhism: the Nyingma, Kagyu, Sakya and Gelug. Generally speaking some of the wrathful forms of Manjushri can be classified into three groupings, the Rakta (blood-red), Krishna (blue-black), and Vajrabhairava (adamantine terrifying). Since Rakta Yamari is therefore a classification of deities, it would be hard to give information here on all of them. The specific forms of Rakta Yamari differ in how the main figure appears and the number of other deities in the mandala. Of particular note, is that each of these forms and their practices has their own lineage of practice as well. Whilst there are forms of all three classifications within the four main schools of Tibetan Buddhism, certain lineages place more emphasis on a particular form than others. For example, within the Gelug lineage emphasis is placed on Vajrabhairava Yamantaka, of which there are two forms in particular that are practiced: 13-deity Yamantaka, and Solitary Hero Yamantaka. In fact Vajrabhairava Yamantaka is one of the three main Anuttarayoga Tantra deities practiced in the Gelug lineage, which we follow, alongside the Akshobhyavajra variant of Guhyasamaja and Chakrasamvara. There are two important lineages of Rakta Yamari practice: the 13-deity Rakta Yamari, and the 5-deity Rakta Yamari practice. Both of these practices can be traced back to an important lineage holder, the Indian Mahasiddha Virupa. In the case of the 5-deity Rakta Yamari lineage, he was taught the practice by a wisdom dakini. I hope this helps. Thank you.

Aldric Wilson DuXing asked: How can the alleged "DiSanShr" "Dorje Chang Fo" Yi Yun Gao be the actual incarnation of Buddha Dipankara Buddha?
Pastor Niral Patel answered: Dear Aldric Wilson DuXing, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, I do not know much about Yi Yun Gao to be able to comment on this. However, within Buddhism we do believe that the Buddhas, out of their compassion appear in human form to help sentient beings in whatever way they can. Within Tibetan Buddhism there is a long history of recognising great masters as the physical body emanations (also known as tulkus) of the Buddhas. The logic behind this is that the Buddhas are all compassionate and so help sentient beings in any and all means that they can. This would obviously include taking the physical form of a human. To say that the Buddhas cannot or do not do this, would be limiting the abilities of the enlightened beings, which goes against the scriptures. In fact, in the scriptures it states that Buddhas can emanate out in countless different forms at the same time. This includes animate beings, such as humans, animals, etc., and also inanimate objects such as bridges, or other things. These emanations, or incarnations if in human form, can be recognised by those who have the ability to perceive the enlightened beings, such as highly attained masters or other emanations themselves. That is why you see only the highest masters within the Tibetan Buddhist traditions recognise others as incarnations of the Buddhas. Other methods of confirming this can include checking with an enlightened Dharma protector, such as Dorje Shugden, when in trance of a qualified oracle. Those who really are emanations of the enlightened beings do not actually need to be recognised as such, as they will always help others no matter if they are recognised or not. However the recognition of such beings is more for us, as practitioners to gain merit by helping them achieve their goal of helping other sentient beings. But as I mentioned earlier, these beings do not self-proclaim themselves but are recognised as such by other highly attained masters who are trustworthy and really work for the cause of helping others by upholding and practicing the holy teachings of Lord Buddha. I hope this helps. Thank you.

Anonymous asked: Sorry about the link not working. They can be found at dharmawheel.net and then looked under Tibetan Buddhism and then under topics which are under all the other lineage topics. Since this is recent, the title "Crazy Scandal somewhat related to Gelug hitting Taiwan" should come up. But anyway, here are the sources in that case: https://ladakh2017blog.wordpress.com/2017/08/12/mary-jin-gebis/ https://maisonneuve.org/article/2013/06/18/when-monks-come-town/ https://ladakh2017blog.wordpress.com/2017/08/14/bw-dorje-shugden/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ad355FqDQuo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XzvPhv_eldk http://www.blisswisdom.org/statement/1854-1006 https://ladakh2017blog.wordpress.com/2017/07/24/dalai-lama-speaks-to-chinese-devotees-about-bliss-and-wisdom/

Anonymous asked: Hi, although this is not a question, I would like to bring awareness towards a particular cult in China and Taiwan that has been having scandals with their leader, Mary Jin. The cult has been defaming the Dalai Lama and has begun supporting Shugden here even though that's not really bad. However, I would like to bring attention so they may not begin corrupting the Buddhists here. Even though I used a dharmawheel website, it has links to its sources: https://dharmawheel.net/viewtopic.php?f=40
pastor answered: Dear Anonymous, Thank you for bringing this to our attention, however the link you provided does not work. I do not know anything about this particular person or their organisation, so I really can’t say much. However, there are some people out there who use religion for their personal gain, and twist the teachings to suit their greed. These sorts of people are often embroiled in scandals and the like and often have views that go against common sense. That is why it is very important to check that a teacher is qualified, is practicing, and is teaching the Dharma as it should be according to the scriptures. All students are encouraged do to so and this in mentioned clearly in the scriptures themselves. The actions of a teacher should be in line with actions laid out in the scriptures and their views should match the logic laid out in the scriptures as well. Once we see a teacher’s qualities, and we have made sure that what they practice is real and genuine, we can devote ourselves to that person fully. We at Kechara, following the teachings of His Eminence the 25th Tsem Rinpoche, think very highly of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, as he is the emanation of the Buddha of compassion, Chenrezig. Similarly, we also believe that Dorje Shugden is the emanation of the Buddha of wisdom, Manjushri. For us, both are enlightened beings, and many practitioners all around world follow this belief as well. We are saddened to see or hear when others talk badly about either, since both are enlightened beings capable of benefiting the world tremendously. Thank you.
