Sean’s Got a Great Idea!!!!!
A card and hard disc from Sean Wang…read below to know why..great ideas.
Last week whilst giving a dharma talk, I mentioned about how mantras and other holy items should be inserted into the statues in Kechara House’s new gompa. One of the ideas was to place in thumb drives with millions and billions of Vajrayogini line drawing pictures and her holy mantra in Tibetan into the holy statue.
Imagine inserting hundreds of thumb drives (filled with billions of Vajrayogini images!) and when people come to make offerings, prostrate, circumambulate, they can collect huge amount of merits for themselves and their love ones! For example, when they prostrate just once, it will be equivalent to prostrating to however many Vajra Yoginis are in this holy image. Technology can be used to help us collect merits. Or if they offer one stick of incense or pearls onto Her mandala, it will be equivalent to how many of Her images are inside!!
Little Sean suggested to get hard disks as well (or instead!) so that it can store even more images. He then promised to offer one to be inserted into the 7ft Vajrayogini in new gompa. Sean kept his promise and bought a 1 TB hard disk (about 1000 GB) for the statue!
Little Sean is the FIRST PERSON TO OFFER THIS FOR OUR NEW STATUES IN OUR GOMPA.
Remember we have three sacred statues that will need many thumbdrives and hard discs filled with billions of images of Vajra Yogini, Tsongkapa, Setrap and their mantras….We have 12ft Tsongkapa, 8ft Setrap and 8ft Vajra Yogini in our NEW Gompa. They each have to be filled with their likeness in the billions…It will bless those who make affinity with these holy beings.
A thoughtful and intelligent young Sean really has very good ideas! Anyone else wish to collect merit and follow in Little 12 years old Sean’s footsteps, do contact Jean Ai ([email protected])
