Chiune Sugihara is a hero who displayed the supreme qualities of humanity: courage, kindness, compassion so rare to find. In the time of madness, he is able to make the right decision calmly knowing clearly the serious consequences that will land him and his family. It is a serious offence especially in the Japanese culture for a government officer to defy the government. Nevertheless, Sugihara-san’s concern was the 6000 lives he managed to save, way more important than his and his family’s.

This kind of courage stems from a genuine care and concern for fellow human beings equally where discrimination and selfish thoughts are non-existence. It is possible for us to do the same as we have all the same nature as Sugihara-san. Sugihara-san is really an inspiration and a good example who died without regret and with dignity knowing he has done great deeds in his life.

In a civilization country, people are free to choose their own religion. In Tibet, Dorje Shugden (DS)practitioners are segregated by non DS practitioners. This issue bring a lot of trouble to DS practitioners especially in basic benefit and medical treatment were being neglected.
Education on DS should be done via social media channel to let more people know who is Dorje Shudgen(DS).DS is emanation of Masjushri and not a spirit which claimed by Dalai Lama.
In Malaysia, DS practitioners not facing much problems like Tibetan DS practitioners, but some people are asking me to give up DS practice because of unfavor incident happen between DS and non DS practitioners in Tibet. I did explain to them the real story of DS .
May DS ban will lift soon to benefit more sentient beings.
Thanks Tsem Rinpoche’s teachings on Dorje Shugden practices.

As student, it is our sincere unadulterated wish for the Guru to turn the wheel of dharma in this & future lives, for only He can infer profound Buddha’s teaching to us that suits our highly deluded mind. Without our Guru, who will guide us on our spiritual path? We should view our Guru as one with the Buddha. If we do so, how can we expect the living Buddha to succumb to our level and humor us with feel-good-factor? It is akin to asking the Buddha to discard the truth and endorse our deluded ways of live. If we are not convinced that our Guru is one with Buddha who is qualified and capable of expounding Buddha’s teaching to us, then we should examine our motive / motivations of being at the dharma centre and be close to the Guru.

I pray for the good health of His Eminence the 25th Tsem Tulku Rinpoche to continue turn the wheel of dharma.

Thank you very much, Rinpoche for the loving kindness and being here for us.

The quotes are short but powerful. The quotes fuel us with permutation in setting our mind on the right spiritual direction. I am very appreciative of the following powerful words:

“However difficult something might appear, it will become easier through persistence combined with enthusiasm and effort.” By Geshe Tsultrim Gyeltsen

How true. Everything is difficult if that is all we are focusing on. But when we put in our mind and passion in trying to make things work or achieve the goals, over time with our consistent effort, we will be able to make it.

Thank you very much, Rinpoche, for sharing these powerful quotes with us. I like them very much.

It is very sad to see what the Tibetan youth has to say about their governance body, the CTA. It is true that the love for His Holiness will not change even though his methods is not acceptable. The methods do not override his kindness, compassion and his great deeds in benefiting so many. Like this person who is disappointed with the CTA, we the Dorje Shugden practitioners are also disappointed with the extend the CTA will go to use our sacred practice to draw attention away from their failure for the last 60 years.

On the other hand, the Reuters has disappointed us again by giving us a misleading report that is biased and with a clear intention to put China down by drawing a negative picture of them. Instead of making peace between China and His Holiness, Reuters further fuel the already tense situation between the two thus making it even harder for a dialogue to take place, ignoring the needs of the Tibetans in China and their wish to see His Holiness home.

What CTA and Reuters need to do is to really make friends with China in order for a meeting and discussion to be granted thereby giving His Holiness or CTA a chance to come to terms with China and work together for the benefits of both Tibetan-in-exile and those in China. This discussion and meeting is very necessary and has now become urgent as there’s not much time left before the rental of land use in India is due in 30 years. Failing which the Tibetans-in-exile will lose their identity and culture that His Holiness has been working hard to protect and preserve all these years.

I have always enjoyed folklore and stories like this one because it opens my mind to things I have not thought of and at the same time give me an opportunity to understand a certain culture and belief. All these information help me to understand our world and people better. This is important.

The world of the paranormal is vast and mystical. There are so much for us to learn and to understand each day. This report on the pukwudgie is an interesting one, with a combination of a creator Maushop, a wife Granny Squanit and also a group of jealous pukwudgies. The Maushop is believed to have created the land to house the tribe, his wife, and the jealous pukwudgies. Wonder if the pukwudgies existed before Maushop and whether the Maushop created the pukwudgies. It will be interesting to know why Maushop created the pukwudgies to attack him if that is the case too.

We know we have the choice to make changes because nothing is permanent. No one is permanently angry at us or like us as a matter of fact as we all function from impermanent perceptions on everything. We are given a chance to change our perception to lift or drag ourselves every single moment. We can choose to apologise or to hide, we can choose to study and improve or choose to stay stagnant and complaint. Either way, we have a choice.

We are making choices constantly from the moment we wake up to sleep – we have to decide what to eat, what to wear, what to do, who to meet, where to eat, shop, park, walk…and the list goes on. Our choices range from big to small, significant to insignificant etc. All these choices determine the results of our choices. So it is important that we make good choices that yield positive results.

We might have made many wrong decisions in life based on our perceptions. Since the choice to make changes are there, we can always do something about it. We can choose to fail; by failing we are telling everyone that we are selfish and we care only for ourselves. When we choose to fail, we are making our loved ones worrying about us, constantly on the look out for us and making things difficult for them. If we truly love someone, we will choose to be successful, to be independent and happy. At the end of the day, we are in charged and we decide who we want to be, what we want for ourselves and people around us.

Parenthood is not an easy one for it will either uplift or destroy a child’s future. Many children, regardless of their background and family environment, are brought up with experiences that bring them suffering on many levels. Those who are lucky turned out to be a good leader, a spiritual master, a caring and loving individual who bring peace and harmony to the world. Those who are unlucky turned out to be bitter, depressed, destroyed and cause chaos in the world. Either way, those are the results of individual’s choice.

His Eminence the 25th Tsem Rinpoche has been brought up with a lot of sufferings, his choice to run away from home later did not make things any easier for him either. He was not given the choice to pursue spirituality and was confused with the ever changing set of parents. All these are a lot to bear on for any individual. Anyone who has gone through what he had, which I wish no one has to, would be acceptable to be a disturbed and angry adult. Instead, Rinpoche has become a Spiritual Advisor of Malaysia’s largest Tibetan Buddhist organisation that bring countless benefits to the local and international people.

Rinpoche has decided to use his experience for better purposes instead. Although in great pain, both physically and mentally, he chose to continue with life and to work towards his goal to benefit others. Rinpoche has never let his past experience stop him from advancing and from being successful. Rinpoche has shown us the positive results from negative causes, breaking our perception of how things should be according to his life story. Rinpoche has given us a clear and loud message that changes are instant, choices are in our hands. We choose to become who we are and things can be different from the point onwards in just a split second.

Seldom do we come across a good example like that of Rinpoche’s, and if we are planning to be a parent or already are, we should first make the instant choice to be a loving and kind person so that we can be good examples for our child as parents are the basis for the formation of their child’s behaviour and personalities. There is a desperate need for peace and harmony-makers in our world and we rely pretty much on good parents for that to happen.

It is true that there is a ban and this ban is on that suppress the Dorje Shugden practice that has a long history proven to be beneficial. This ban is not an act that goes according to the Buddhist teachings but one that ignores humanity, diversity, harmony, peace; freedom of speech, practice, choice etc. This ban started as an advice and still, it is said to be an advice, but the reactions and actions that follow are showing the clear sign of the existence of a ban.

A ban happens when people are prohibited from something and punishment in the form of fine, jail, deportation etc. will follow when one insisted on not following it. In India where the Tibetans-in-exile is, the lay Dorje Shugden practitioners who insist on keeping their Dorje Shugden practice are also banned from employment and education opportunities, medical needs, travel document application etc. For the ordained, they are not allowed to travel, to raise funds, to see their teachers, so that the lineage that they carry will be eliminated.

This ban is one that bring about serious consequences which will eliminate the Dorje Shugden lineage forever. We require everyone’s help in spreading the truth about this ban, the benefits of the Dorje Shugden practice so that the ban will be lifted, discrimination will end and humanity will once be practiced again.

What Am I Writing Now

The Unknown

The Known and unknown are both feared,
Known is being comfortable and stagnant,
The unknown may be growth and opportunities,
One shall never know if one fears the unknown more than the known.
Who says the unknown would be worse than the known?
But then again, the unknown is sometimes worse than the known. In the end nothing is known unless we endeavour,
So go pursue all the way with the unknown,
because all unknown with familiarity becomes the known.

Such a wondrous place to be with such a view that heals the soul. Why live in a city where it is unnatural and polluted. Everyday in the city is a day away from where we belong. We belong among the greens, forest, mountains and clean air. We belong in such a place and doing our retreats, sadhanas and mantras to find the ultimate place of belonging and peace....the ultimate place is within us with a developed spiritual mind. Hard to achieve among distractions in the city.

When we see others who behave not according to our expectations and just to ‘get them back’ we throw all caution to the wind and we get angry, retaliate, fight back, scream, yell and then quit, it shows our mind. Everything is about our own mind. That is not to say they are not at fault. But if we want the world to act perfectly in our presence and then we don’t get angry, that is SO INCREDIBLE IDEALISTIC AND WE ARE DOOMED FROM THE START in anything we do. We have to keep our equilibrium always. Remember our vows, promises and our own state of mind. Be kind to ourselves and not let the other person throw us off because we have to be in control of our own minds. Remember, our mind and how it reacts is the key.--- H.E Tsem Rinpoche

So this is a general overview of Guhyasamaja. I’ve only hit on some of the high points of it. There’s a lot more in it. So when we think of Guhyasamaja practice, we shouldn’t just think in terms of some set of rituals. It’s important to realize that this is a vast system that, as I said, offers the template for what is going on in general in anuttarayoga tantra practice on the generation stage and complete stage. And it has extraordinary detail on the death, bardo, and rebirth process, how to work with it, how to recognize what’s going on. And then there’s the whole apparatus with we can actually derive the meaning of the tantra from the obscure type of language in which it was written. Read more - http://www.tsemrinpoche.com/?p=87052
