Facebook question: What are the Commitments After Receiving Vajra Yogini’s Sacred Initiation?

Question Series for my FB Friends:

After recieving Vajra Yogini’s sacred initiation, what are the exact commitments we should uphold daily, monthly and for life? What are the essentials? This is very important after initiation. We must understand so we keep our words of honour we took during initiation.

    Rinpoche,

Thank you for such a detailed explanation.

You spoke about wanting to scan the tantra implement sheet one is required to keep: I emailed a pdf version to Beng Kooi, I hope it gets there quickly to save you or your assistants time.

Thank you Rinpoche for the FB question and also this explanation on Vajra Yogini’s practice. I have much to learn & practice before I am ready. Thank you for introducing this special lady to me. _/\_

Thank you, Rinpoche, for this very clear and complete teaching and explanation on the sacred Vajra Yogini’s initiation and practice. I shall hold the instructions here close to my heart to create the causes to receive the Sacred Vajra Yogini Initiation and Practice in this lifetime from my precious Spiritual Guide.

THank you, from the depths of my heart, for your great compassion in giving us this teaching.

Dear Rinpoche, thank you very much for a clear explaination on the commitments, vows holding, requirement of attending tsog and what’s need to be done if not able to and other requirments as well. May all obstacles be completely pacified for those who are ready for Her scared initiation and her yogas.

Always fighting your mental afflictions means practicing the Dharma. Never giving up your word of trust means keeping your commitments.

  6. David Green on Apr 22, 2011 at 12:06 am

Thank you for the kind and thorough explanation, Rinpoche.

I’ve sent you a FB message about this page which I hope you have time to read. Thanks you again. :)

Rinpoche you are the bomb!!! That was a most potent and beautiful teaching. Thank you a zillion times for sharing your knowledge and insights. I started Vajrayogini practice in November thanks to my kind Lama and your inspiration. I love it and it is truly magnificent!! I’ll succeed or die trying.

    Dear Revered Rinpoche,

Thank you so very much, your video answer to the Vajrayogini facebook question was truly helpful for me!Please do put up the photo of the ritual objects (we must carry when traveling) for us to copy and print out.I had no idea we had to do that!

    Tashi delek and ‘Ku-soo Thu-chak’!

  9. Wylfred Ng on Dec 26, 2013 at 10:09 am

    Thanks Rinpoche for the sharing.

The preliminary practice for higher tantra initiation such as prostration, Vajrasattva, light offering, mandala offering, Guru Yoga are difficult, but the post initiation practice require even more commitment!!

But of course if we can keep the commitments and hold the vows, we will have the highest achievement which is gain enlightenment.

Hope that everyone of us would receive the highere tantra initiation in the future.

    Thanks

    Dear Rinpoche,
Thank you very much for sharing this information regarding the commitments after receiving Vajrayogini’s Sacred Initiation. I think that one would be fortunate to have even the oppurtunity to recive the Vajrayogini Initiation from Rinpoche. I hope that one day I may have that honour.

Thank you, Rinpoche, for your generosity. It is amazing and humbling to live in a world blessed by teachers like you, and I’m endlessly grateful to my Lamas for guiding me into a reality where I can receive dharma with a keystroke. Please stay.

We don’t practice the higher teachings because of pride, for knowledge for fame, to go to the next level and etc we practice something like the tantras in conjunction of bodhicitta. Bodhicitta is the mind that wants to become a Buddha so that they are full enlightened and have all the skills, wisdom and insight to helping and saving sentient beings.

  16. Tara L. on Mar 21, 2014 at 6:24 am

What I never will understand, may be Tsem you can say something about it:
I desire the Tantric Praxis of VY and know and see it is possible to attain buddhahood in one life. She is so strong- unbelievable and true. I train to see me as VY in every moment I think about her (I’ve got several initiations) I train to see everything as pure, pure pure and Buddha. And suddenly I shall clean myself with Vajrasattva Mantras? Logical and after all science of self prophesy: if we see us as not pure this thought will never change until we change the thought we are pure. Why shall we train to see us as not pure to make Vajrasattva Mantras? It makes no sense in my eyes.

The Unknown

The Known and unknown are both feared,
Known is being comfortable and stagnant,
The unknown may be growth and opportunities,
One shall never know if one fears the unknown more than the known.
Who says the unknown would be worse than the known?
But then again, the unknown is sometimes worse than the known. In the end nothing is known unless we endeavour,
So go pursue all the way with the unknown,
because all unknown with familiarity becomes the known.

The highest achievements are usually done alone.~Tsem Rinpoche (Sometimes the further you move up and achieve, the less people will be around or unable to keep up. Some cannot understand, accept or wish to do more and they can drop off. Some may wish you well but cannot keep up anyways. The higher your goals, the less most are able to understand or envision. Some may be even against you. But what is important is you stay focused and consistent. After all big achievements are done by only a few and not the majority. Highest achievements are usually done alone or with a very few. Stamina, vision, consistency, focus, care, responsibility and sometimes even a sense of compassion is necessary to achieve anything big. Giving up gets us nowhere, so continuing is a good option. When you make it, some will come back, many will join and the naysayers regret and wished they had stayed. Tsem Rinpoche)

Mother gorilla's heart- A child fell into the gorilla cage. She broke her arms and legs and she was unconcious. A male gorilla came and tried to hurt her. Luckily, a female gorilla rescued her by chasing other gorillas away not to hurt her. This is an instinct of mother animals that take care of their babies. The mother gorilla climbed the 57 ft wall and took the girl to the zoo officer. The girl was sent to hospital and the doctor cured her. Thanks to mother gorilla's kind heart. -From FB (Please always be kind to animal. Never hurt them, kill them or eat them. Tsem Rinpoche)

The Girl Who Couldn't Cry - Water is Life
It's really hard to educate a generation of people born in conditions where they take things for granted. A simple slogan campaign that says, "Save water, It's precious" isn't sticky enough to make inroads. That's exactly where this video steps in: to make people realize how precious water actually is. A brilliant video that follows the heartbreaking story of a young girl that cannot cry. Sounds like fiction? Sadly, it is not.
