    Dear Rinpoche,
Thank you for sharing the pictures here. I find that the comments below by some are as fascinated as the pictures posted. I hope and pray that many Kecharians will continue to have the chance to enjoy such fascinating sight although Rinpoche is temporarily not around. It will inspire many Kecharians continue to practice. I hope many will achieve attainments and gain siddhis. 🙏

Rainbows are beautiful and auspicious.I love and gets very excited seeing rainbows. It takes sunshine and rain to make a rainbow. There would be no rainbows without sunshine and rain. I felt completely bound up with color, like thousands of rainbows superimposed one on top of the other.I always look out for beautiful rainbows to occur. To me seeing it is a very auspicious sign ,something good. To the Tibetan Buddhism rainbows are considered to be very auspicious too.
The last time i saw was at Kechara Forest Retreat, just finishing a Puja. Its an auspicious sign indeed and is eternity’s expression of delight.
Thank you Rinpoche for sharing those beautiful pictures of rainbows.

One time I saw two perfectly formed rainbows over my mum’s house. It looked amazing.

Really liked this comment from http://www.youtube.com/user/tsemtulku#g/u ~

During Tsem Rinpoche’s visit in 1992 I had the honour to be selected by Rinpoche to be his assistant when he made a tour for raising funds round Malaysia. It was arranged that we stop at every town where there is a cen tre. Do pujas which normally is Manjushri pujas and give dharma talks to raise funds for the monastery as requessted by the late Lati Rinpoche. It was Rinpoche’s 1st assignment out of the monastery for Rinpoche to teach. He was very young then. I never take notice of rainbows during that time. But this blog has trickered me to remember. Each time before we arrive at a town where Rinpoche is suppose to go there will be a rainbow. Rinpoche said it is very auspicious. It was true when all the town he visited he was ab le to raise funds more than he expected.

ahhhh… rainbow. a beautiful creation that can fills our imaginations with all the vivid colours we can imagine.. mixed more of the colours and you will come up with more colours.. any colours you can imagine.. there are endless colour combinations that will bring new colours to our eyes…
that is why rainbow is so very intriguing to me when I was a child and even till now.. though it can easily be explained by simple science, the pure existence of it makes me want to believe that it is a mystical creation. beautiful to the eyes in the purest of form.. yet, unattainable to the simplest of touch..
see it… let your mind and heart create and wanders.

Recently many Rainbows have been seen wherever Rinpoche is. According to Tibetan Buddhism rainbows are considered to be very auspicious. When I was assistant to Rinpoche in 1992 he was in Malaysia to raise funds for Gaden Monastery. During our travels round Malaysia to raise funds we had to stop at small towns. Before we reach the town we are going to. There will be rain then it stops and rainbow will appear. At the end of our fund raising tour we had collected more money than what the monastery had asked for. According to Chinese belief Rain and Rainbows signifies money.

During my 32 years, I think I had seen the most rainbows in my entire 32 years. This even include the double rainbow which I saw twice, once during the Kechara Wesak Fair and another was last month in KL when the double rainbows show themselves around KLCC area.
This is really very auspicious, and honestly seeing so many rainbows within few months is almost unbelievable for me. But yet I see it with my own eyes. I do believe Rinpoche’s wishes and works will manifest steadily and we will be going towards the same goal to achieve KWPC very very soon! How lucky we are to witness this great outcome in the near future.

I have been with Kechara for about 1 year and 10 mth. I can say that during this period I have seen the most rainbows in my life.
Obviously the rainbow is always the sign of Rinpoche’s meritorious work. The local deity/guardian can fell the compassion of a higher being and therefore it will manifest a rainbow to show how happy, and rejoice they are.
Beng Kooi mentioned that one, who holds the liaison vows strongly, signs will manifest. This must also include the strong guru devotion/samaya with the guru.
We are so lucky to have Rinpoche as our guru and all the sign have been manifest one by one to show that we are at the right direction towards benefiting more people.

I was sharing with some friends of double rainbow phenomena happened during some Kechara’s auspicious events and I find their reactions pretty pretty: “Oh, really!”; “Really? This is miraculous!”; “Ya, buddhas are watching what we are doing!”, “It must be very magnificent”… Yes, may i always remember that rainbow or double rainbow is itself a cause of happiness, as well as reflection of causes of happiness… and May we do not need to detonate an atom bomb to show us how destructive nuclear energy is… and May we do not need rainbows to remind us how close buddha energy is to all of us… (Double rainbow is really nice, Rinpoche!)

I’ll quote Andrew: “think about it for one moment, it is NOT about the rainbow but the circumstances that came together in that precise moment that is soooo special”
I used to think that there was nothing special with rainbows, because I was just looking at the meteorological phenomena, ignoring completely that every phenomena needs causes to take place. And yes, there must be many causes for a rainbow to appear.
So, how do the causes manifest?
Why do they manifest at a specific time?
If you still are not convinced and are looking for the expert advise of a confirmed scientific mind, this is waht Einstein said: “There are two ways to live: you can live as if nothing is a miracle; or you can live as if everything is a miracle.”

    Dear wan,
I designed the old signboard of Kechara Paradise ten years back and aunty vivian drew it out for me.
That signboard has a rainbow and it brings back very nice memories. You were one of the first to work in KP in ss2 and we go back a long ways together.
Your post brings back nice memories. Thanks..

When i was a child, i so happy to see the rainbow appeared in sky after the rain when i stayed in village with rice field surround. Rainbows that i used to see appeared after rain sometime only, not everytime. Then when i grew up and moved to study in bangkok, since then i hardly see rainbow in the city with full with high building.
In Kechara house, especially where is Rinpoche and where is Kechara activities there are rainbows, how amazing!!! And it was not only one time, it was many times that we witness. It is said that the rainbow is a sign that the gods, guardians and local dieties of the area are pleased with Rinpoche compassionate and his virtual actions.
Actually rainbow was with Kechara and Rinpoche since day one, some of you might saw it before. Yes, it was on Kechara Paradise Logo and signboard at ss2. There were a beautiful rainbow, with a deer under the tree.

Rainbows are beautiful and auspicious; double rainbows signifies superabundant of wealth and luck! The ‘Rainbow Reports’ that we received around Kechara House(s) and Tsem Ladrang include numerous account of double rainbows. As the accurance of double rainbows are very very rare, their frequent accurance cannot be mere coincidence. They seem to follow wherever Rinpoche goes and the activities/events of Kechara happen.
Lets follow the rainbows and for sure they will lead us to the right path in building KWPC, the land of rainbows, where spiritual activities are abound! Let us join hand in making this happen to spread dharma to every single sentient beings.

  14. Sean on Jul 7, 2010 at 4:06 pm

Wow, is that not amazing? Rainbows are a super auspicious sign. That is why they pop up near holy places. Scientifically, it means you have your back facing the sun. But this is just plainly miraculous! Double rainbows are even rarer! I only have seen one in my whole life and that was during the Wesak Fair this year, in the year 2010! All the pictures looked very, very nice. Only one of them were not clear, the rest were perfect! In mythology, it is said that at the end of the rainbow, there is a pot of gold, I guess it is a good omen that rainbows are ending near or exactly at KH or Ladrang!

  15. pamela on Jul 7, 2010 at 4:00 pm

There was this actor in a movie which commented that it is very rare to have 2 rainbows appear at once but that is not the case whenever Rinpoche is around. I know because we all saw it, live and in person when Kechara was celebrating Wesak Day on the playground opposite. It was almost getting dark and it drizzled a bit before appearing in the sky. So many of us took pictures of this beautiful occasion. Even during animal liberation in the park when Rinpoche was around, 2 rainbows appeared simultaneously after a slight drizzle. Even the local deities and Dharma protector are happy for this meritorious act hence the appearance of the 2 rainbows!

  16. Joey on Jul 7, 2010 at 12:00 pm

On more than occasion, I have seen many rainbows appear where Rinpoche is, or after a Kechara activity that Rinpoche has attended…land pujas, animal liberations, Dharma talks..and it has been quite constant.
It’s not a miracle or anything but it does show that other beings other than humans and animals do approve of Rinpoche’s actions and rejoice deeply in them. Other signs include what Jamie has pointed out — leaking roofs, mushrooms and plants that indicate similar auspicious signs.
There is no more doubt that Rinpoche’s actions and presence benefits with so many signs to indicate as such. Therefore, there is no reason to doubt what Rinpoche does as it is all for the benefit of others. Proof? Aside from people having true unwaivering faith in Rinpoche, these signs manifest.

  17. Peter on Jul 6, 2010 at 4:40 pm

    Terima Kasih Rinpoche!
    Wonderful natural phenomena!
Many many years ago, whilst stuck in a traffic crawl in a bus, at the Selangor side of Federal Highway, I witnessed an unforgettable rainbow phenomena (appeared after a storm) that was like 2 rainbows and they formed an ‘M’ shape and that was the first time I ever had a rainbow phenomena that made me smile. Those on board also witnessed the amazing phenomena. Who knows? The sky might just repeat the same ‘M’ stunt over Kechara?
*Keeps fingers and toes crossed* LOL

A double rainbow appeared over Kechara House on Wesak Fair (22May 2010) in the late afternoon … http://blog.tsemtulku.com/tsem-tulku-rinpoche/2010/05/double-rainbow-at-kechara-wesak-day-fair.html
I heard from Rinpoche’s senior students that rainbows are signs from the heavens and local deities that the work carried out by Rinpoche is going in the right direction. At the same time, it is also a blessing from the heavens to indicate to us that virtuous work is being done to benefit others.
Other signs mentioned are plants growing near a Lama or in their garden or on a statue. We witnessed such a miracle on the recent Zong Rinpoche’s statue. Read more from this link:

    Dear Rinpoche,
It seems just as well you made your choice to become a monk rather than an actor. Any two-bit celeb it seems can have hordes of cameras following at their backs – but how many people can say that they have the sky as their constant paparazzi?!
These are gorgeous images, and we as your students are extremely blessed in having such a pure spiritual guide in you as our teacher.
    Kindest regards,
    Sandy

  20. Jay Jae Chong on Jul 6, 2010 at 12:34 pm

The amazing part of the rainbow that i took picture of is that it came waaaaay before the rain was supposed to set in for that evening. It was going to be dark soon and the few moments of strong sunlight coupled with the earth’s magnetic field must have charged this beautiful swoosh of color in the sky.
Having said that, the feeling when u see a normal earthly phenomenon isn’t normal when u have goosebumps and all your hairs are standing on their ends! Besides the local deities and enlightened protectors showing signs of pleasure, I feel that it is an indication and encouragement for us to go forward to the future-KWPC.
KWPC will be a land of rainbows with colors signifying virtues of freedom, peace and happiness through the prayers and aspirations of our holy Lama’s sincere vision to create a holy Buddha field in our mother land…
May these rainbows bring us to the Great Land of Bliss, the pure abode of the Sky walkers, inner and outer KECHARA.

Rainbows appear everywhere where Rinpoche goes. Everytime after Rinpoche has performed pujas, teachings, liberation of animals, etc. rainbows appear, even double rainbow appeared. It is said that the local deities are extremely happy with all the good deeds performed and is an indication of good omen and auspiciousness. This phenomenal of rainbows is associated with high lamas, their accomplishments and pure motivation. Just like Lord Shayakmuni Buddha, when He turned the wheel of Dharma all beings, form and formless, appeared to His sermon, offer obeisance and make offerings. Likewise, when Rinpoche performs any good deeds as in teaching dharma, pujas, etc, gods witness and are extremely happy, creating rainbows as a sign of auspiciousness and obeisance.

  22. Bonita Khoo on Jul 6, 2010 at 2:44 am

I totally agree with Andrew, rainbows are amazingly beautiful and awe inspiring spectacle, yet impermanent. Something so exquisitely beautiful which last only a few moments is like a lesson in itself.
There are many occasions where things happened and there were no explanations for them. There are countless times where before any dharma talk, there is a heavy down pour and it will stop as if on cue just before the arrival of Rinpoche. It is as if heavenly beings, local deities or protectors are cleaning the path for an enlighten being to step foot on the path! And these happened many many many times!
Like Girlie said, at the end of the rainbow, there is a pot of gold. Very true, the gold is our dearest Tsem Rinpoche.
Rinpoche always refer Himself as the bottom of the barrel! To me it is ‘SAVE THE BEST FOR LAST!’ You are the best anyone could have, Rinpoche. I thank my lucky stars for having the merit to meet and receive dharma teaching from Rinpoche.
Thank you very much Rinpoche for all the love, care and kindness Rinpoche had shown me and everyone around Rinpoche.

  23. Andrew James Boon on Jul 6, 2010 at 2:15 am

I love rainbows. Always have and always will… amazingly beautiful and awe inspiring spectacle, yet impermanent. Something so exquisitely beautiful which last only a few moments is like a lesson in itself.
Yes one may argue what is so great about a rainbow… it is merely a natural accurance as described in wikipedia like so: A rainbow is an optical and meteorological phenomenon that causes a spectrum of light to appear in the sky when the Sun shines onto droplets of moisture in the Earth’s atmosphere. They take the form of a multicoloured arc, with red on the outer part of the arch and violet on the inner section of the arch.
True but think about it for one moment, it is NOT about the rainbow but the circustances that came together in that precise moment that is soooo special. And if we all think ourselves as the different components coming as one and working as one is when we can form something equally as brilliant as a rainbow. I personally find this an amazing analogy to working together to form something special… I wish this for KWPC and all Kecharians that we may be this very rainbow that inspires all…
    Much love from Belgium… Andrew

Local deities are very happy when virtuous work is being conducted and they are most joyful if we save the lives of animals. Hence they manifest signs life rainbows to show their happiness. Currently the Animal Liberation activity is headed by Liaison Su Ming and they have it on the first Sunday of every month. During the Animal Liberation they will chant Medicine Buddha Mantra (http://tsemtulku.com/mantras/ )and they blow on the fishes they will be releasing .
It is said even bones of beings even after hundreds of years , if the Medicine Buddha mantra is chanted and is blown on them it will benefit the beings.

You know KSA was born in the very first Kechara outlet KP SS2. Back then it was just a few students who at Rinpoche’s request to start painting the statues did as Rinpoche advised. From the initial vision up until now look how many others have taken Rinpoche’s advice and a whole new department is born that takes care of the creative side to spirituality.
Now we have traditional techniques being taught by Malaysians in Malaysia. Isn’t that something for Malaysians to be proud of? You would never know the difference in quality artisans we have here. Just look what can be done here…

  26. Justin Ripley on Jul 5, 2010 at 8:40 am

Rinpoche has said many times, that local deities, nagas, etc… spirits can feel the compassion of a higher being and will manifest many signs to show that they are happy or pleased. It has happened many times before as other has mentioned. Especially before a Dharma talk, there is usually a light rain before the guru arrived, similar to the traditional way of preparing for the arrival of the teacher.
In the monasteries, and back in the day in india, the ground is usually just a bare dirt surface, so they would sprinkle the ground with water to keep the dust at bay.
Talk about signs, here at this post we see double rainbows at night!
    http://blog.tsemtulku.com/tsem-tulku-rinpoche/2010/04/rainbow-around-the-moon-tonight.html
In this video directly after the liberating of animals Rinpoche gives a Dharma talk and explains as the local deity of the are shows signs for all to see, of a light rain, thunder and a rainbow.

When Buddha Shakyamuni giving the dharma course to sangha, some higher being like god are happy and rejoice about Buddha Shakyamuni knowledge to liberate sentient being free of suffering, they have use their mystical power turn the cloud become 8 auspicious sign and offer it up to lord Buddha. Mystical sign always exist when the high attain being around. That because whatever high attain being does is base from their bodhicitta.
Rainbows appear when Rinpoche around has happen many occasion specially when rinpoche finish the dharma activity or before the activity start. Rinpoche make the comment said that local deity at this area are happy when dharma activity happen at there. They use their mystical power to make the rainbows appear or create the rain fall to show the sign they are happy. We are lucky have Rinpoche around guarding us. It show many sign that our lama have so much compassion to sentient being.
    Regards,
    Chia

  28. David Lai on Jul 5, 2010 at 6:12 am

Rainbows have a habit of following beings who have Bodhichitta. Hence, those who have achieved Bodhichitta…when they take rebirth will induce many rainbows to appear. Also, when such being proliferate the Dharma or perform specific actions that will benefit many, the local deities will always rejoice by inducing a rainbow to make an appearance.
Also, when such beings choose to leave this earth, rainbows will appear to herald such a sad time. Sometimes, I think it is the deities rejoicing because they want to usher these beings that are endowed with Bodhichitta into their realms. However, rainbows appearing at a funeral to a diligent Vajrayogini practitioner could mean that the practitioner had ascended to Kechara Paradise like Chatreng as confirmed by many High Lamas.

  29. Joy Kam on Jul 5, 2010 at 5:54 am

More and more magical and mystical signs will appear as a sign of good omen and that we are heading the right direction – this is what Rinpoche has told us many times if we do our Dharma work well, the Dakinis (Fairies) and Dharma Protectors will show us clear signs for us to see.
How fortunate we are because we’ve been getting loads of rainbows this whole year!!! Ah Yes Paris & mushrooms too!
Other good auspicious signs I’ve seen is on our retreat land’s 1st blessing ceremony where there was 3 eagels flying above the land in circular motion. There was a light drizzles before Rinpoche arrive and stopped always on cue when Rinpoche appears. Another time we the Ladrang team saw a rainbow ring around the sun on our retreat land after a short prayer and there was NO RAIN.
All these wonderful sign lifts up our spirits cos we know and reaffirms our mission in benefiting others.

I’ve always loved rainbows. It just looks so beautiful and magical. Since they don’t appear so often, it is like a delightful treat. So, I used to be so excited whenever I get to see one. However, since I became a student of Rinpoche, I get to see a lot of rainbows. Like what Beng Kooi and Wendy wrote – rainbows do follow Rinpoche around quite a fair. Rinpoche explained that when the Buddhas, Dakinis or Deities are delighted with our Dharma activities, they will show us clear signs of their approval and joy. It is very auspicious to see rainbows appear whenever we have Dharma activities, or even Dharma talks and teachings. To me, it is like a confirmation or assurance from the Gods, Deities and Buddhas. They are letting us know that we are going towards the right direction. So, who says that we don’t see any miracles at this day and age? Well, come and hang out with Kecharians or at Kechara. You’ll soon see plenty popping up – yup, from rainbows to mushrooms!

  31. julia on Jul 5, 2010 at 1:39 am

Miss Rainbow likes our Rinpoche a lot. She follows Rinpoche everywhere He goes. To show signs to the world that She is very pleased with what Rinpoche has done to benefits people. She even whispered to the world,
“Treasure HIM…treasure HIM… treasure HIM… Rinpoche is an extra ordinary being who came to this land which dharma is hardly found. HIS profound teaching will wake up your mind that is so clinging to yourselves that lead to no happiness. I appeared my colourful body to cherish and rejoice for all the good work Rinpoche did which benefited countless people in the world…”
ps. Have you ever seen double rainbows next to each other? Have you ever seen rainbows appearing at your right and left at the same time? Well, come to Kechara, you will see rainbows appearing everywhere!

  32. ruby on Jul 5, 2010 at 12:12 am

Rainbows have been appearing not only in malaysia but in thailand too. Years ago, Rinpoche visited an old monk (ajahn) in Haadyai. Ajahn has since passed away. Rinpoche and Ajahn had very good meeting and when Rinpoche came out of the temple, a rainbow appeared. You must understand that Haadyai is very hot and hazy(due to pollution). It didnt rain before or after hence the rainbow was a clear sign that the gods are also rejoicing with what Rinpoche is doing. There have been so many of such occurence(as i have been with Rinpoche for many years) that if i were to note them here, it would be a blog by itself, not a post!

  33. Ooi Girlie on Jul 4, 2010 at 11:56 pm

And they say at the end of the rainbow there is a pot of gold – this pot of gold is our Rinpoche. The rainbows have always appeared when Rinpoche had completed a meritious activity – the Gods must be happy.
I was amongst the large crowd of students and friends who were at a food & fun fair organised by Kechara House when late into the evening, this double rainbow appeared. Many looked towards it, something many if not all of us had not seen something like this before. Yes, rainbows appearing after the rains had stopped are common, but to have a double rainbow? The gods and guardians were really happy.

  34. Paris on Jul 4, 2010 at 9:15 pm

And not just rainbows – rain, leaking roofs, sprouting plants and MUSHROOMS!
Other powerful signs that dharma is flourishing and that the Dharma protectors are happy by Rinpoche’s incredible Dharma work and compassion

“Why do brids suddenly appear, everytime you are near…….they long to be, close to you…” These are the lyrics from the song “Close to you” sung by the famous Capenters.
And rainbows appear always around our Rinpoche, rainbows are always close to where Rinpoche’s work manifest. It’s true.
Besides the obvious clear and strong rainbow many of us saw on Wesak day in May this year and the rainbow that appeared after animal liberation, all these are signs that the local guardians are extremely happy with what we, as students, are doing to help Rinpoche spread the Dharma across. And have you seen a “moon rainbow”? It appeared bring and clear right over Rinpoche’s residence in the early morning after our Kechara House’s President, Datuk May Phng, signed the Sales and Purchase agreement for the land to build our future “Menara Kechara”. Rinpoche said Rainbow appeared at night was very very rare. I have never seen it before. It just another auspicious sign that our work will be growing in a big way and will have great benefits to many.
    Margaret

  36. Beng Kooi on Jul 4, 2010 at 6:38 pm

Rainbows have this habit of appearing wherever Rinpoche is! Or wherever his activities manifest.
I can quote a fairly recent example of the Wesak Day Fair at Kechara House in May 2010. It was going to rain and the Liaison of Kechara House, Yap Yoke Fui, said a fervent prayer to Lord Setrap, our Dharma Protector. Miraculously, the rain never came and a double rainbow was seen over Kechara House shortly after.
Rinpoche told us later, that for those who hold their vows and keep their commitments, and especially for those who hold the liaisons vows strongly, will one day be able to manifest signs like these due to their pure samaya with their Guru.

  37. Justin Cheah on Jul 4, 2010 at 6:31 pm

Yes Wendy, I agree with your comments. I have seen it myself during the recent Wesak Fair where a double rainbow manifested. This incident has happened so many times and it is something that cannot happen coincidentally all the time.
There is always light drizzle before the packing of KSK food distribution rounds and stops when we finished with the packing and preparing to go out to the city to distribute it out.
Sometimes it happens as soon as we had finished distributing our food packet. Even some volunteers spoke of these incidents without knowing why.
The gods and guardians must have been very happy and showed signs to indicate their happiness of a meritorious deed done.

  38. Wendy on Jul 4, 2010 at 4:24 pm

Rainbows appearing where Rinpoche is, is not something unusual. This has happened on many occasions. I remember sometime ago when Rinpoche brought a group of us to TTDI park to liberate fishes meant for slaughter in the market place and restaurant in the lake, rainbow appeared in the sky followed by a light shower of rain. It is said that the rainbow is a sign that the gods and guardians of the area are pleased because a compassionate action is taking place. I believe that the rainbows appearing on that day mentioned by Rinpoche is for the same reason because a great being such as Rinpoche is actively doing extensive dharma work to benefit many people now and in the future. Gods and heavenly beings like compassionate beings and compassionate action and they show their happiness thru manifesting rainbows.

Blog Chat Etiquette

These are some simple guidelines to make the blog chat room a positive, enjoyable and enlightening experience for everyone. Please note that as this is a chat room, we chat! Do not flood the chat room, or post without interacting with others.

Be Patient

Give the room a chance to answer you. Patience is a virtue. And if after awhile, people don't respond, perhaps they don't know the answer or they did not see your question. Do ask again or address someone directly. Do not be offended if people do not or are unable to respond to you.

Very interesting and informative article. In most cultures, women is consider as lower in status compared with men. Ancient times in India, man took the lead while women is seconded. But times has changed for the better where women are not degraded in society. They receive equal recognition, appreciation, and stature, yet in countries and places around the world, women are still viewed as inferior and treated accordingly. But in Buddhism women have been increasing in number and has proven that many of them have gained full enlightenment in a female body. In Buddhism is concerned there’s no discrimination toward women ,both men and women are equal. There‘s many female Mahasiddhas and Yoginis as in this blog. May it inspired many more to come. Interesting article and its great sharing knowledge.
Thank you Rinpoche with folded hands,

Sleep paralysis is a feeling of being conscious but unable to move. It occurs when a person passes between stages of wakefulness and sleep. During these transitions, one may be unable to move or speak for a few seconds up to a few minutes. Some people may also feel pressure or a sense of choking. Sleep paralysis is a temporary inability to move or speak. It’s not harmful and should pass quickly, but at times can be frightening. It can affect anyone but is most common in young adults and they might have hallucination. The scary facts about sleep paralysis is those who suffer from it have said it felt like someone was choking them on their chest so they could not breathe.
As for me I have not experience as such before as least i know now what i can to do.
Thank you Vinnie Tan for sharing. Interesting read of these stories related to sleep paralysis.

nteresting as this texts been composed after being inspired to do so . That’s interesting as this nature are traditionally considered exceptionally potent in their blessings if the claim of divine inspiration is authentic. According to the account in the introduction, the author composed this text after being divinely inspired to do so. It’s a very rare kind and its acceptance been recognised and received praise by very high lamas of our tradition. Reading this article tell us all of how powerful Dorje Shugden when we invoke in our prayers.
Interesting read of the short biography of Ven. Geshe Kunchok Gyaltsen, the author of Mass of Vajra Fire.
Thank you Rinpoche for this sharing.

That’s wonderful Rinpoche has composed prayers in English so as everyone could recite and practice. For beginners is such a meaningful insights and perspectives without commitments and initiation. Moreover each prayers is for a specific blessing that helps practitioners to gain attainments and overcome obstacles. Easy and simple for everyone to start off.
We are fortunate that everything Rinpoche did brought tremendous benefit to all sentient beings. Whatever prayers Rinpoche has composed are especially potent with blessings.
Thank you Rinpoche and writers for this sharing.

A great article , revisit this again of Tibetan Lamas and their dogs. As now I have a pet doggie with me, I came to understand more of them . Dogs are the most amazing creatures, they give us unconditional love. For me, they are the role model for being alive. Buddhists believe dogs also have the potential to become enlightened and can teach us about responsibility, love, and other Buddhist principles. The Q & A by Sandra Klein’s interview with the Venerable Gonsar Rinpoche gave us a better understanding and very informative of Tibetan dogs under Lamas care. ccording to the Buddha Dharma, all sentient beings have Buddha nature — from ants to humans. Though we often look at dogs as wonderful companions an teach us to embrace Buddhist principles. They, themselves, embody many of these principles.
Thank you Rinpoche for this great sharing.

Living with my wife, whose world is meticulously painted with the hues of OCD, is a journey that intertwines the essence of love with the complexities of the human mind. Her relentless pursuit of cleanliness and order, transforming even the most negligible corner into a testament of organization, often dances on the fine line between admiration and frustration. The sight of her steering clear from trash bins as if they were labyrinths of chaos, serves as a poignant reminder of the battles she fights within. Yet, it’s through these very battles that I’ve learned the profound language of patience and the unspoken strength of support. Therapy, in its gentle embrace, has been a beacon of light for her, guiding her through the stormy seas of OCD. It has not only offered her solace but has also unveiled the strength of her spirit, teaching us both the beauty of resilience. As she journeys through the pathways of healing, I stand by her, a testament to the power of love and the enduring promise of hope. Together, we navigate the complexities of her world, discovering that within the challenges lie opportunities for growth, understanding, and an unbreakable bond. https://www.mindfullyaliveonline.com/obsessive-compulsive-disorder-ocd/

Venerable Ajahn Chah was a Thai Buddhist teacher of the Buddhadhamma and a founder of two major monasteries in the Thai Forest Tradition. Well respected and loved as a man of great wisdom, he was also instrumental in establishing Theravada Buddhism in the West. Interesting life story, how he chose to leave the settled monastic life and became a wandering ascetic. Walking across Thailand, lived in forests, caves and cremation grounds while learning from the meditation monks of the Forest of various monasteries. He wandered through the countryside in quest of quiet and secluded places for developing meditation. He even lived in tiger and cobra infested jungles, using reflections on death to penetrate to the true meaning of life. After years of wandering, Venerable Ajahn Chah established a monastery where he taught simple, practice-based form of meditation, and attracted a numerous of students including western foreigners. He was one of the greatest Dhamma teachers of the modern era. His wise teachings have continued to guide thousands of people along the path of Dharma. Venerable Ajahn Chah’s teachings of the Thai Forest Tradition gradually spread across all over the world. Several of Ajahn Chah’s Western students have since established monasteries throughout the world. Just in Thailand itself, there are more than 300 branch monasteries in Ajahn Chah’s tradition. Ven erable Ajahn Chah used his ill health as a teaching point, emphasizing that it was a living example of the impermanence of all things and reminded people to endeavour to find a true refuge within themselves. The legacy of Venerable Ajahn Chah’s teachings and legacy continues into the modern age.
Thank you Rinpoche for this great sharing.

Wonderful blog written on the practice of Kalarupa for us to understand better. As an emanation of Manjushri, Kalarupa’s practice helps us to destroy ignorance and to develop wisdom overcoming our anger and suffering . Awesome Kalarupa manifested in multiple forms to help sentient beings who personifies enlightenment by the conquest of anger. Kalarupa also regard as one of the three main Dharma protectors of the Gelugpa is extremely fierce and ugly, and tames all kinds of spiritual ugliness. The fierceness of his iconography teaches us to remind ourselves that all the causes and effects of anger arising from ignorance are dreadful and distorted.
Thank you Rinpoche and Pastor Antionette for this detailed sharing,

Nepal is a very spiritual country, having a huge Dorje Shugden mural in Kathmandu, is indeed a big achievement for Kechara. Located on Charkhal Road in Dilli Bazaar, the mural can be found midway between our two Dorje Shugden chapels which are in Putalisadak and Chabahil. It is also very close to one of Kathmandu’s largest shopping malls. Many locals , tourist will be able to connect them to a powerful deity that is so closely associated with their culture. Well the mural not only beautiful but also full of symbolism and everyone merely by seeing it is blessed. Thanks to those talented artists and generous sponsors making it a success.

All the art of living lies in a fine mingling of letting go and holding on. Letting go helps us to live in a more peaceful state of mind and helps restore our balance. A reminder for us all to go of attachment and meditating on impermanence and emptiness. We are to relinquish the domination of our ego and its habits to transform ourselves. A great reminder not to waste our previous life.
Quoted Ceasing to do evil, Cultivating the good, Purifying the heart .

Winning the lottery was part of my dreams, I tried so hard to win big but all to no avail, until I came across Dr Lucas online who made my dreams come through and made me win 10 million dollars. I was a logistics manager who lives in Lancaster, S.C. and works about an hour’s drive away, in Charlotte, N.C., I stopped at a store to buy a scratch-off lottery ticket during my lunch break, because Dr Lucas gave me all the assurance that the numbers are not going to fail after I did all he asked me to do. Dr lucas is a powerful Dr that is on a mission to eradicate poverty from people’s lives and i have confirmed that by winning $10 million with the numbers he provided for me, it is my promise to tell the world about my experience with Dr Lucas and that’s what I’m doing now, you can win the lottery fast with the help of Dr Lucas he is tested and trusted Email: Drlucasspelltemple@gmail. com or WhatsApp +234 904 794 3567 he will help you.

We are members of the Buddhist Temple in Taman Desa Jaya, Kepong, Kuala Lumpur and we have been issued membership by the president (DATUK YIP KUM FOOK), we are very sad because we are the foundation of this Temple

Now we can know who is always messing with people, and he always cheats money and women, he even uses Buddhism to find money.

Also, need to be careful with his brother-in-law (Simon Low Kok Meng) because he is a spy (CID) for DATUK YIP KUM FOOK and we will write some letters to AGONG SULTAN IBRAHIM IBN ALMARHUM SULTAN ISKANDAR as soon as possible.

The matriarchal cultures of the grandmothers have specific symbolism of animism shamanism, such as the horse, especially the blue horse, and the deer. These are two main symbols of a shaman woman and you can find them in many cultural folk lore, especially the Russian, Slavic, Siberian, Nordic, Finland, and Norway. It’s nice to see the Matriarchal Shaman Animism diety represented in Chinese.

An inspiring act of a selfless Lama feeding strays whether its night or day. Truly an example for us all to feed those lonely strays . Yes I do agree compassion starts with feeding strays. Reading this blog again to refresh myself to do more. Strays animals generally lead a life of poor welfare on the street. Feeding strays is a compassionate act.

The Unknown

The Known and unknown are both feared,
Known is being comfortable and stagnant,
The unknown may be growth and opportunities,
One shall never know if one fears the unknown more than the known.
Who says the unknown would be worse than the known?
But then again, the unknown is sometimes worse than the known. In the end nothing is known unless we endeavour,
So go pursue all the way with the unknown,
because all unknown with familiarity becomes the known.

Find one of the most beautiful temples in the world in Nara, Japan. It is the 1,267 year old Todai-ji temple that houses a 15 meter Buddha Vairocana statue who is a cosmic and timeless Buddha. Emperor Shomu who sponsored this beautiful temple eventually abdicated and ordained as a Buddhist monk. Very interesting history and story. One of the places everyone should visit- https://bit.ly/2VgsHhK

What the meat industry figured out is that you don't need healthy animals to make a profit.
Sick animals are more profitable... farms calculate how close to death they can keep animals without killing them. That's the business model. How quickly they can be made to grow, how tightly they can be packed, how much or how little can they eat, how sick they can get without dying... We live in a world in which it's conventional to treat an animal like a block of wood. ~ Jonathan Safran Foer

He shared that he truly believes that Dorje Shugden and Rinpoche always there guiding him. He shared how sometimes DS will give him hints to avert troubles ahead or to alert him when he 'misbehaved'. Hope many will come to know more about this powerful Dharma Protector, Dorje Shugden aka DS. Having Dorje Shugden is like having a powerful ally that will protect us day and night.
